It is shown that while the solid fraction is 0.9, MnS inclusions began to precipitate in the final stage of solidification. The solidification process of 49MnVS3 non-quenched and tempered steel during heating has been observed in situ using a confocal scanning laser microscope (CSLM), which agrees well with the thermodynamics calculation. | 4 | Two-Stage Resource Allocation Scheme for Three-Tier Ultra-Dense Network显示文摘In 5 G Ultra-dense Network(UDN), resource allocation is an efficient method to manage inter-small-cell interference. In this paper, a two-stage resource allocation scheme is proposed to supervise interference and resource allocation while establishing a realistic scenario of three-tier heterogeneous network architecture. The scheme consists of two stages: in stage I, a two-level sub-channel allocation algorithm and a power control method based on the logarithmic function are applied to allocate resource for Macrocell and Picocells, guaranteeing the minimum system capacity by considering the power limitation and interference coordination; in stage II, an interference management approach based on K-means clustering is introduced to divide Femtocells into different clusters. Then, a prior sub-channel allocation algorithm is employed for Femtocells in diverse clusters to mitigate the interference and promote system performance. | 7 | Photonic synapses with ultralow energy consumption for artificial visual perception and brain storage显示文摘The human visual system,dependent on retinal cells,can be regarded as a complex combination of optical system and nervous system.Artificial retinal system could mimic the sensing and processing function of human eyes.Optically stimulated synaptic devices could serve as the building blocks for artificial retinas and subsequent information transmission system to brain.Herein,photonic synaptic transistors based on polycrystalline MoS_(2),which could simulate human visual perception and brain storage,are presented.Moreover,the photodetection range from visible light to near-infrared light of MoS_(2) multilayer could extend human eyes’vision limitation to near-infrared light.Additionally,the photonic synaptic transistor shows an ultrafast speed within 5μs and ultralow power consumption under optical stimuli about 40 aJ,several orders of magnitude lower than biological synapses(50 ms and 10 fJ).Furthermore,the backgate control could act as emotional modulation of the artificial brain to enhance or suppress memory function,i.e.the intensity of photoresponse.The proposed carrier trapping/detrapping as the main working mechanism is presented for the device.In addition,synaptic functionalities including short synaptic plasticity,long synaptic plasticity and paired-pulse facilitation could be successfully simulated based on the prepared device.Furthermore,the large difference between short synaptic plasticity and long synaptic plasticity reveals the better image pre-processing function of the prepared photonic synapses.The classical Pavlovian conditioning associated with the associative learning is successfully implemented as well.Therefore,the efficient and rich functionalities demonstrate the potential of the MoS_(2) synaptic device that integrates sensing-memory-preprocessing capabilities for realizing artificial neural networks with different emotions that mimic human retina and brain. | Caihong Li Wen Du Yixuan Huang Jihua Zou Lingzhi Luo Song Sun Alexander OGovorov Jiang Wu Hongxing Xu Zhiming Wang | 2022 | Opto-Electronic Advances2022,5,9: | 3 |

It is found that the tropism and the alignment of Al6Mn precipitated phases become regular under high magnetic fields. The stronger the high magnetic fields, the more regular the alignment of Al6Mn precipitated phases. Al6Mn precipitated phases can generate oriented alignment and aggregation under high magnetic fields through the observation of the quenched microstructure of the Al-Mn alloy at different temperatures. | 12 | Geostatistical Analysis of Spatial Distribution and Dynamics of Dead Heart of Sugarcane Seedlings Caused by Borer显示文摘Dead heart of sugarcane is an important symptom caused by borer attack. In the present study, the spatial distribution and dynamics of dead heart of sugarcane in the field were investigated based on geostatistical analysis, and semivariograms were computed in four separate directions(0°, 45°, 90° and 135°) and fitted with various theoretical models to determine the best fitted one. The Ordinary Kriging was used to interpolate spatial data. The results revealed that the density of dead hearts of sugarcane increased in a single-peak pattern, and the degree of spatial aggregation and random variation both decreased with the increase in the density of dead heart. In addition, dead heart of sugarcane caused by borer exhibited spatial aggregation.With the increase in the density of dead heart, the degree of spatial aggregation decreased, while the correlation increased. | 16 | Cavitation Erosion Behavior of CrMnN Duplex Stainless Steel in Distilled Water and 3% NaCl Solution显示文摘The cavitation erosion (CE) behavior of CrMnN ferrite-austenite duplex stainless steel in distilled water and 3% NaCl solution was investigated by using a magnetostrictive-induced CE facility. The damaged surfaces were observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). It was found that the CE resistance of CrMnN steel was higher than that of 0Cr13Ni5Mo steel. The mass loss rate of CrMnN steel in distilled water was similar to that in 3% NaCl except at the early stage of CE. The failure mode of ferrite phase was brittle fracture, which had adverse effect on the resistance to CE, while the failure of austenite phase was a ductile failure in CrMnN steel. | 20 | Boosting High-Voltage and Ultralong-Cycling Performance of Single-Crystal LiNi_(0.5)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.3)O_(2) Cathode Materials via Three-in-One Modification显示文摘LiNi_(0.5)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.3)O_(2) is extensively researched as one of the most widely used commercially materials for Li-ion batteries at present.However,the poor high-voltage performance(≥4.3 V)with low reversible capacity limits its replacement for LiCoO_(2) in high-end digital field.Herein,three-in-one modification,Na-doping and Al_(2)O_(3)@Li_(3)BO_(3) dual-coating simultaneously,is explored for single-crystalline LiNi_(0.5)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.3)O_(2)(N-NCM@AB),which exhibits excellent high-voltage performance.N-NCM@AB displays a discharge-specific capacity of 201.8 mAh g^(−1) at 0.2 C with a high upper voltage of 4.6 V and maintains 158.9 mAh g^(−1) discharge capacity at 1 C over 200 cycles with the corresponding capacity retention of 87.8%.Remarkably,the N-NCM@AB||graphite pouch-type full cell retains 81.2% of its initial capacity with high working voltage of 4.4 V over 1600 cycles.More importantly,the fundamental understandings of three-in-one modification on surface morphology,crystal structure,and phase transformation of N-NCM@AB are clearly revealed.The Na+doped into the Li–O slab can enhance the bond energy,stabilize the crystal structure,and facilitate Li+transport.Additionally,the interior surface layer of Li^(+)-ions conductor Li_(3)BO_(3) relieves the charge transfer resistance with surface coating,whereas the outer surface Al_(2)O_(3) coating layer is beneficial for reducing the active materials loss and alleviating the electrode/electrolyte parasite reaction.This three-in-one strategy provides a reference for the further research on the performance attenuation mechanism of NCM,paving a new avenue to boost the high-voltage performance of NCM cathode in Li-ion batteries. | Bao Zhang Jixue Shen Qi Wang Changqing Hu Bi Luo Yun Liu Zhiming Xiao Xing Ou | 2023 | Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,1: | 1 |
