2Re-Os Dating of Galena and Sphalerite from Lead-Zinc Sulfide Deposits in Yunnan Province, SW China显示文摘Dating of lead-zinc deposits is of critical importance for better understanding of ore genesis, but has long been a big challenge due to the lack of suitable minerals that can be unequivocally linked to the ore genesis and that can be used for tradition radiometric methods. This kind of deposits have simple mineralogy dominated by galena and sphalerite commonly associated with calcite and other gangue minerals. Both galena and sphalerite have low and high variable Re concentrations and thus Re-Os dating of these minerals have been less promising. In addition, the recovery of Re is extremely low for galena when conventional method was applied, lending additional difficulty in precisely dating galena. In this study, we investigate the recovery of Re using different media for anion exchange separation and reporte a revised preparation method for Re-Os dating of galena and sphalerite. 4Geological significance of nickeliferous minerals in the Fule Pb–Zn deposit, Yunnan Province, China显示文摘The Fule Pb–Zn deposit is located in the Sichuan–Yunnan–Guizhou Province, and it is an important and giant low temperature metallogenic domain in China.In our research area, the Pb–Zn deposits are mainly hosted in the Permian Yangxin Formation and are composed of dolostone and limestone. The distance between the ore bodies and the Permian Emeishan basalt ranged from 50 to160 m. In this study, the nickel rich minerals, including vaesite, polydymite and millerite, were reported for the first time in the Fule deposit. These minerals occurred as xenomorphic mineral aggregate and were sporadically distributed in the sphalerite–galena–calcite vein, which is the main ore type in the deposit. Our study indicated that the paragenetic sequence of minerals in the Fule deposit is the following order: polydymite → vaesite→ millerite → sphalerite → galena → tetrahedrite(tennantite).The geological occurrence characteristics of those nickeliferous minerals suggested that the Permian Emeishan basalt is a possible barrier layer of Pb–Zn ore-forming fluid, and it is an important source for the Ni and part of the Cu in the deposit. The Sichuan–Yunnan–Guizhou Pb–Zn mineralization province is a world-class production base of Pb and Zn, in which the Permian Emeishan basalt and Pb–Zn deposits have uniformly spatial distribution, but the relationship of mineralization between them is still under debate. 5The mixing of multi-source fluids in the Wusihe Zn–Pb ore deposit in Sichuan Province, Southwestern China显示文摘The Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou(SYG)metallogenic province of southwest China is one of the most important Zn-Pb ore zones in China,with^200 Mt ZnPb ores at mean grades of 10 wt.%Zn and 5 wt.%Pb.The source and mechanism of the regional Zn-Pb mineralization remain controversial despite many investigations that have been conducted.The Wusihe Zn-Pb deposit is a representative large-scale Zn-Pb deposit in the northern SYG,which mainly occurs in the Dengying Formation and yields Zn-Pb resources of^3.7 Mt.In this paper,Zn and S isotopes,and Fe and Cd contents of sphalerite from the Wusihe deposit were investigated in an attempt to constrain the controls on Zn and S isotopic variations,the potential sources of ore-forming components,and the possible mineralization mechanisms.Both theδ66Zn andδ34S values in sphalerite from the Wusihe deposit increase systematically from the bottom to the top of the strata-bound orebodies.Such spatial evolution inδ66Zn andδ34S values of sphalerite can be attributed to isotopic Rayleigh fractionation during sphalerite precipitation with temperature variations.The strong correlations between the Zn-S isotopic compositions and Fe-Cd concentrations in sphalerite suggest that their variations were dominated by a similar mechanism.However,the Rayleigh fractionation mechanism cannot explain the spatial variations of Fe and Cd concentrations of sphalerite in this deposit.It is noted that the bottom and top sphalerites from the strata-bound orebodies document contrasting Zn and S isotopic compositions which correspond to the Zn and S isotopic characteristics of basement rocks and host rocks,respectively.Therefore,the mixing of two-source fluids with distinct Zn-S isotopic signatures was responsible for the spatial variations of Zn-S isotopic compositions of sphalerite from the Wusihe deposit.The fluids from basement rocks are characterized by relatively lighter Zn(~0.2‰)and S(~5‰)isotopic compositions while the fluids from host rocks are marked by relatively heavier Zn(~0.6‰)and S(~15‰)isotopic compositions.Hongjie Zhang Haifeng Fan Chaoyi Xiao Hanjie Wen Lin Ye Zhilong Huang Jiaxi Zhou Qingjun Guo 2019Acta Geochimica2019,38,5:6

7Trace Elements in Sphalerite from the Dadongla Zn-Pb Deposit, Western Hunan-Eastern Guizhou Zn-Pb Metallogenic Belt, South China显示文摘The western Hunan-eastern Guizhou Zn-Pb metallogenic belt is one of the important Zn-Pb mineralization regions in China.The Dadongla deposit,located in the northeast of Guizhou Province,is one of the typical Zn-Pb deposits in the region and has estimated resources more than 12 million metric tons(Mt)with an average grade of 4.11 wt%Zn+Pb.Its orebodies are hosted in the lower Cambrian Aoxi Formation dolomite,occurring as bedded,para-bedded in shape,and in conformity with the wall rock.The ore mineral assemblage is simple,dominated by sphalerite with minor pyrite and galena,and the gangue minerals are composed of dolomite,calcite with minor bitumen and barite.In view of the lack of geological and geochemical researches,the genesis of Zn-Pb ore is still unclear.Laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(LA-ICPMS)spot and mapping analyses were used to obtain sphalerite trace element chemistry in the Dadongla Zn-Pb deposit in Guizhou,China,aiming to constrain its ore genesis.The results show that sphalerite is characterized by the enrichment of Cd,Fe,Ge and Hg,corresponding with that of typical MVT deposits.Four zones were identified in the sphalerite crystal from Dadongla from the center to margin according to the color bands.in which the zone in the center,representing the early ore-stage sphalerite,is characterized by enrichment of Cd relatively,while the zone forming at late ore-stage is enriched in Ge and Hg relatively.The finding was controlled by differential leached metals content in ore-forming fluid from its source rock.Notably,critical element Ge trends to be enriched at the late ore-stage and follows a substitution of 2 Zn^2+(?)Ge^4++□(vacancy).Moreover,the calculated ore-forming temperature ranges from 79.9℃to 177.6℃by the empirical formula,which is similar to that of typical Mississippi Valley-type(MVT)deposits.Compared with the features of trace elements in sphalerite from different types of deposits,together with the geology,the Dadongla deposit belongs to an MVT Zn-Pb deposit.HU Yusi YE Lin WEI Chen LI Zhenli HUANG Zhilong WANG Haoyu 2020Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,6:3
8Genesis of the Maoping carbonate-hosted Pb–Zn deposit,northeastern Yunnan Province,China:evidences from geology and C–O–S–Pb isotopes显示文摘The Maoping Pb-Zn deposit(~3 Mt Pb+Zn reserves with grades of 12-30 wt%)is one of the largest Pb-Zn deposits in the Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou(SYG)metallogenic province,which has contributed a tremendous amount of lead and zinc resources for China.To obtain a further understanding of the sources of ore-forming materials and ore genesis of the deposit,S-Pb isotopes of sulfides and C-O isotopes of ore-stage calcites were systematically collected from representative orebodies at different elevations with a Finnigan MAT-253 mass spectrometer.The calcites separated from the sulfides of the NoⅠand NoⅡorebodies shared identical b13 CPDB values(-5.3 to-0.8‰)andδ18OSMOW values(+14.5 to+21.8‰)with those of the calcites in the SYG region,suggesting that CO2 in regional ore-forming fluids possibly had a homologous C-O source that originated from a ternary mixture of the dissolution of marine carbonate rocks,degassing process of the Emeishan mantle plume,and dehydroxylation of sedimentary organic matter.The No.Ⅰ-1 and No.Ⅰ-2 orebody was hosted in the same strata,but the sulfur source of No.Ⅰ-1 orebody(+13.1 to+19.0‰)with equilibrated sulfur fractionation(δ34Sspbaierite-<δ34Sgalena)and No.Ⅰ-2 orebody(+18.0 to+21.8‰)with sulfur equilibrium fractionation(δ34Sspnaierite>δ34-Sgalena)were different.They were derived from the allopatry thermochemical sulfate reduction(TSR)of overlying Carboniferous sulfates in the ore-hosting strata and local TSR of sulfates in the ore-bearing Upper Devonian Zaige Formation,respectively.The narrow and uniform Pb isotopic ratios of single galena grains collected from sulfides with 206Pb/204Pb of 18.713-18.759,207Pb/204Pb of 15.772-15.776 and 208Pb/204Pb of39.383-39.467 indicate a well-mixed metal source(s)that consist of Proterozoic Kunyang and Huili Group basement rocks and Devonian to Middle Permian ore-hosting sedimentary rocks.Besides,the late Permian Emeishan basalts are difficult to contribute metals for regional Pb-Zn mineralization despite a closely spatial relationship with the distribution of the Pb-Zn deposit.This is supported by Pb isotopic ratios plotting above the average upper crustal Pb evolution curves and staying far away from that of the agecorrected Emeishan basalts.Hence,taking into account of the similarities in tectonic setting,ore-hosting rock,ore assemblage,wall rock alteration,ore-controlling structure,and ore-forming materials and the differences in relationship with regional magmatism,fluid inclusion characteristic and ore grade between the Maoping deposit and typical MVT Pb-Zn deposit,the ore genesis of the Maoping deposit should be an MVT like Pb-Zn deposit.Yufan He Tao Wu Zhilong Huang Lin Ye Ping Deng Zhenzhong Xiang 2020Acta Geochimica2020,39,5:3
9Co-strengthening contribution of δ′and T_1 precipitates in Al-Li alloys 2090 and 2090+Ce显示文摘The microstructure of dislocation in two kinds of aluminum-lithium alloys 2090 and 2090 + Ce was observed by means of TEM technology. The contributions of δ′ and T1 precipitates to strength were separately calculated by using the results of quantitative metallography and analysis of micro-deformation behavior; the co-strengthening effect of δ′ and T1 precipitates was studied. The results show that the adding relationship of co-strengthening of δ′ and T1 is in accordance with q = 1.4 form at the near peak-aged condition, i.e., 11.4 1.4 1.4?τ p = ?τ δ’ + ? τT; but the adding relationship is approximately a linear relation (q = 1) at the under-aged condition and becomes the parabola form when over-aged (q = 2). 12Genesis of fahlore in the Tianbaoshan lead–zinc deposit, Sichuan Province, China: a scanning electron microscopy–energy dispersive spectroscopy study显示文摘The Tianbaoshan deposit, located in the southwestern part of the Yangtze Block, is a representative Pb–Zn deposit in the Sichuan–Yunnan–Guizhou Pb–Zn metallogenic province. The Pb–Zn orebodies are hosted in the upper Sinian Dengying Formation dolostone. The predominant minerals are sphalerite, galena, pyrite, chalcopyrite, quartz, and calcite with minor arsenopyrite,fahlore, and dolomite. The deposit is characterized by relatively strong Cu mineralization. However, the relationship between Pb–Zn and Cu mineralization is unknown. We analyzed the mineralogy and composition of fahlore, chalcopyrite, arsenopyrite, sphalerite, and galena using scanning electron microscopy–energy dispersive spectroscopy, with the aim of providing new evidence for the genesis of the Pb–Zn–(Cu) ore. The results show that the Cu ore in the deposit is dominated by chalcopyrite and fahlore, both of which formed before or during the Pb–Zn ore-forming stage. The fahlore showed dramatic compositional variation and was characterized by negative correlations between Ag and Cu, and between As and Sb,suggesting substitution of Ag for Cu, and that As and Sb substitute in the same site in the fahlore lattice. Based on backscattered electron images and composition, the fahlorewas divided into two types. Type I fahlore crystallized early and is characterized by enrichment of Cu and depletion in Ag and Sb. Type II fahlore formed after Type I, and is rich in Ag and poor in Cu and As. Moreover,galena and fahlore are the host minerals of Ag. The variation of valence state with As host mineral—from fahlore to arsenopyrite—indicates the metallogenic environment changed from relatively oxidizing to reducing with a high p H. In the light of Gibbs energies of reciprocal reactions and isotherms for cation exchange, the composition of the fahlore implies its ore-forming temperature was lower than220 °C, corresponding with typical Mississippi Valley-type(MVT) deposits. 13Simultaneous and systematic analysis of cellular and viral gene expression during Enterovirus 71-induced host shutoff显示文摘Dear Editor, Enteroviruses, including poliovirus, enterovirus 71 (EV71), enterovirus 68, coxsackievirus A16, cause millions of infections every year. The infection can lead to serious human diseases and is a significant public health problem. Among them, EV71 is an emerging pathogen that causes severe hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) and neurological disease, especially in young children. Currently, there is no effective treatment to EV71-caused diseases, partially blaming to a lack of understanding EV71 replication mechanism (Solomon et al., 2010). As a member of Picornaviri-dae, EV71 infection induces a rapid induction of host shutoff, which is marked by the inhibition of cellular protein synthesis (Holland, 1963). In the meantime, viral protein synthesis takes over the cellular translational machinery. It is believed that the cellular protein synthesis shutoff benefits viral replication by relocating cellular resources and facilitating viral escape from host cell immune responses (Cao et al., 2017). Both transcription and translation inhibition have been suggested to contribute to the host protein synthesis shutoff during picornavirus infection (Holland, 1963;Belsham, 2009). 16Profiling the Bisecting N-acetylglucosamine Modification in Amniotic Membrane via Mass Spectrometry显示文摘Bisecting N-acetylglucosamine(GlcNAc),a GlcNAc linked to the coreβ-mannose residue via aβ1,4 linkage,is a special type of N-glycosylation that has been reported to be involved in various biological processes,such as cell adhesion and fetal development.This N-glycan structure is abundant in human trophoblasts,which is postulated to be resistant to natural killer cellmediated cytotoxicity,enabling a mother to nourish a fetus without rejection.In this study,we hypothesized that the human amniotic membrane,which serves as the last barrier for the fetus,may also express bisected-type glycans.To test this hypothesis,glycomic analysis of the human amniotic membrane was performed,and bisected N-glycans were detected.Furthermore,our proteomic data,which have been previously employed to explore human missing proteins,were analyzed and the presence of bisecting GlcNAc-modified peptides was confirmed.A total of 41glycoproteins with 43 glycopeptides were found to possess a bisecting GlcNAc,and 25 of these glycoproteins were reported to exhibit this type of modification for the first time.These results provide insights into the potential roles of bisecting GlcNAc modification in the human amniotic membrane,and can be beneficial to functional studies on glycoproteins with bisecting GlcNAc modifications and functional studies on immune suppression in human placenta.Qiushi Chen Yuanliang Zhang Keren Zhang Jie Liu Huozhen Pan Xinran Wang Siqi Li Dandan Hu Zhilong Lin Yun Zhao Guixue Hou Feng Guan Hong Li Siqi Liu Yan Ren 2022Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,4:0

18Cell-penetrating riboflavin conjugate for antitumor photodynamic therapy显示文摘Riboflavin(RF,vitamin B2)is an essential vitamin and has been considered as a promising natural photosensitizer for photodynamic therapy(PDT).However,further exploration of RF in antitumor application was limited by its poor cellular uptake.In this study,using cell-penetrating peptides Arg8,(Cha-Arg)3 and small molecule triphenylphosphine(TPP)as delivery compounds,three RF conjugates were prepared to increase the accumulation of RF in cells,termed as Arg8-RF,(Cha-Arg)3-RF and TPP-RF,respectively.Compared with TPP-RF and Arg8-RF,(Cha-Arg)3-RF exhibited better cell internalization and stronger cytotoxicity against HeLa cells upon exposure to blue light.Further researches proved that(Cha-Arg)3-RF generated reactive oxygen species(ROS)under irradiation,which could indiscriminately destroy endogenous proteins and mitochondria,ultimately inducing cell death.This work provides a new approach to explore RF as a natural photosensitizer for antitumor photodynamic therapy.Chunlei Wu Yanyan Li Zhehong Cheng Pengxin Wang Zhilong Ma Ke Liu Yulian Cheng Yimin Zhou Xian Lin Ximing Shao Yong Yang Hongchang Li Lijing Fang 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,9:0
19Predicting adsorption ability of adsorbents at arbitrary sites for pollutants using deep transfer learning显示文摘Accurately evaluating the adsorption ability of adsorbents for heavy metal ions(HMIs)and organic pollutants in water is critical for the design and preparation of emerging highly efficient adsorbents.However,predicting adsorption capabilities of adsorbents at arbitrary sites is challenging,with currently unavailable measuring technology for active sites and the corresponding activities.Here,we present an efficient artificial intelligence(AI)approach to predict the adsorption ability of adsorbents at arbitrary sites,as a case study of three HMIs(Pb(Ⅱ),Hg(Ⅱ),and Cd(Ⅱ))adsorbed on the surface of a representative two-dimensional graphitic-C_(3)N_(4).We apply the deep neural network and transfer learning to predict the adsorption capabilities of three HMIs at arbitrary sites,with the predicted results of Cd(Ⅱ)>Hg(Ⅱ)>Pb(Ⅱ)and the root-mean-squared errors less than 0.1 eV.The proposed AI method has the same prediction accuracy as the ab initio DFT calculation,but is millions of times faster than the DFT to predict adsorption abilities at arbitrary sites and only requires one-tenth of datasets compared to training from scratch.We further verify the adsorption capacity of g-C_(3)N_(4) towards HMIs experimentally and obtain results consistent with the AI prediction.It indicates that the presented approach is capable of evaluating the adsorption ability of adsorbents efficiently,and can be further extended to other interdisciplines and industries for the adsorption of harmful elements in aqueous solution.Zhilong Wang Haikuo Zhang Jiahao Ren Xirong Lin Tianli Han Jinyun Liu Jinjin Li 2021npj Computational Materials2021,,1:0
20Observation of low thermal expansion behavior and weak thermal anisotropy in M_(3)A_(2)C phases显示文摘M_(3)A_(2)X phases,named 321 phases,are an atypical series of MAX phases featuring in the MA-triangular-prism bilayers,with the A=As/P,exhibiting excellent elastic properties.This work systematically studies the thermal expansion properties of 321 phases.We found their average linear thermal expansion coefficients(TECs),α_(L)=5-6μK^(–1),are the lowest among the reported values of MAX phases.The lowest average TEC was found in Nb_(3)As_(2)C(αa=4.46(4)μK^(–1),αc=5.09(4)μK–1,αL=5.09(4)μK–1).The average TEC and anisotropy factor(αc/αa)of Nb_(3)As_(2)C and Nb_(3)P_(2)C were lower than the ones of the corresponding 211 phases.The best isotropy performance was found in Nb_(3)P_(2)C (αc/αa=1.11).Moreover,our first-principles calculations demonstrate that the weaker chemical bonding between Nb-As/P than Nb-C induces thermal expansion in M_(3)A_(2)X phases.Furthermore,a relatively weaker anharmonic effect in 321 phases than in the 211 phases was revealed by the as-calculated average Grüneisen parameters,which account for the lower TECs in 321 phases.The low TECs and enhanced thermal isotropy make 321 phases outstanding among MAX phases,which could be sound candidates for varying-temperature structural-functional components.Hongxiang Chen Zhilong Zhang Jun Deng Zhijie Lin Chunfu Hong Shixuan Du Pinqiang Dai 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,23:0
