1Effects of elevated CO_2 on the nutrient compositions and enzymes activities of Nilaparvata lugens nymphs fed on rice plants显示文摘Elevated CO 2 may reduce the tolerance of Nilaparvata lugen (N. lugens) to adverse environmental factors through the biological and physiological degeneration of N. lugens. In an artificial climate box, under 375 and 750 μL L 1 CO 2 levels, the rice stems nutrient content, the nutrient content and enzyme activities of N. lugens nymph fed on rice seedlings exposed to ambient and elevated CO 2 were studied. The results showed that rice stems had significantly higher protein and total amino acid levels under ambient than elevated CO 2 levels. Nymphs had significantly higher protein levels in the ambient CO 2 treatment, while their glucose levels were significantly lower under ambient CO 2 conditions. Significantly higher trypsin activity was observed in nymphs grown in elevated CO 2 . Significantly lower activities of the protective enzymes total superoxide dismutase and catalase were observed in the nymphs under ambient CO 2 . Meanwhile, the activity of the detoxification enzyme glutathione S-transferase was significantly higher in the ambient CO 2 treatment. 2Release and uptake mechanisms of vesicular Ca^2+stores显示文摘Cells utilize calcium ions(Ca^2+)to signal almost all aspects of cellular life,ranging from cell proliferation to cell death,in a spatially and temporally regulated manner.A key aspect of this regulation is the compartmen-talization of Ca^2+in various cytoplasmic organelles that act as intracellular Ca^2+stores.Whereas Ca^2+release from the large-volume Ca^2+stores,such as the endoplasmic reticulum(ER)and Golgi apparatus,are preferred for signal transduction,Ca^2+release from the small-volume individual vesicular stores that are dispersed throughout the cell,such as lysosomes,may be more useful in local regulation,such as membrane fusion and individualized vesicular movements.Conceivably,these two types of Ca^2+stores may be established,maintained or refilled via distinct mechanisms.ER stores are refilled through sustained Ca^2+influx at ER-plasma membrane(PM)membrane contact sites(MCSs).In this review,we discuss the release and refilling mechanisms of intracellular small vesicular Ca^2+stores,with a special focus on lysosomes.Recent imaging studies of Ca2+release and organelle MCSs suggest that Ca^2+exchange may occur between two types of stores,such that the small stores acquire Ca^2+from the large stores via ER-vesicle MCSs.Hence vesicular stores like lysosomes may be viewed as secondary Ca^2+stores in the cell.Junsheng Yang Zhuangzhuang Zhao Mingxue Gu Xinghua Feng Haoxing Xu 2019Protein & Cell2019,10,1:3

4Improved and excellent CO sensing properties of Cu-doped TiO_2 nanofibers显示文摘Cu-doped TiO2 nanofibers with an average diameter of about 80 nm are synthesized through an electrospinning method. Both anatase and rutile crystallographic structures are found in the fibers based on XRD results. Compared with pure TiO2 nanofibers, the Cu-doped TiO2 nanofibers exhibit improved CO sensing properties at 300°C. The sensitivity of Cu-doped TiO2 nanofibers is up to 3 when the sensor is exposed to 5 ppm CO, and the response and recovery times are about 4 and 8 s, respectively. Good selectivity is also observed in our investigations. 5Optimization of Processing Parameters of Power Spinning for Bushing Based on Neural Network and Genetic Algorithms显示文摘A neural network model of key process parameters and forming quality is developed based on training samples which are obtained from the orthogonal experiment and the finite element numerical simulation. Optimization of the process parameters is conducted using the genetic algorithm (GA). The experimental results have shown that a surface model of the neural network can describe the nonlinear implicit relationship between the parameters of the power spinning process:the wall margin and amount of expansion. It has been found that the process of determining spinning technological parameters can be accelerated using the optimization method developed based on the BP neural network and the genetic algorithm used for the process parameters of power spinning formation.
