1Diversity characterization and association analysis of agronomic traits in a Chinese peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) mini-core collection显示文摘Association mapping is a powerful approach for exploring the molecular basis of phenotypic variations in plants.A peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)mini-core collection in China comprising 298 accessions was genotyped using 109 simple sequence repeat(SSR)markers,which identified 554 SSR alleles and phenotyped for 15 agronomic traits in three different environments,exhibiting abundant genetic and phenotypic diversity within the panel.A model-based structure analysis assigned all accessions to three groups.Most of the accessions had the relative kinship of less than 0.05,indicating that there were no or weak relationships between accessions of the mini-core collection.For 15 agronomic traits in the peanut panel,generally the Q t K model exhibited the best performance to eliminate the false associated positives compared to the Q model and the general linear model-simple model.In total,89SSR alleles were identified to be associated with 15 agronomic traits of three environments by the Q t K model-based association analysis.Of these,eight alleles were repeatedly detected in two or three environments,and 15 alleles were commonly detected to be associated with multiple agronomic traits.Simple sequence repeat allelic effects confirmed significant differences between different genotypes of these repeatedly detected markers.Our results demonstrate the great potential of integrating the association analysis and marker-assisted breeding by utilizing the peanut mini-core collection.Huifang Jiang Li Huang Xiaoping Ren Yuning Chen Xiaojing Zhou Youlin Xia Jiaquan Huang Yong Lei Liying Yan Liyun Wan Boshou Liao 2014Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2014,56,2:14
2Phenotypic identification of peanut germplasm for resistance to southern stem rot显示文摘Southern stem rot,caused by Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc.,is a destructive soil fungal disease of peanut in China and other countries.To evaluate resistant germplasm,a total of 256 peanut accessions were investigated on their resistance to southern stem rot in 3 environments by artificial inoculation.Variance analysis indicated that disease index was significantly influenced by environment,genotype and genotypeenvironment interactions.Peanut accessions of var.vulgaris type exhibited higher resistance to southern stem rot.Disease index was significantly negatively correlated with linoleic acid content,while positively correlated with oleic acid content.Six resistant accessions were identified,including Hua 28,Shandongzai,ICG 6326,Quanhua 7,Quanhua 9 and Guihua 836,with their disease indexes under 40 and mortality were less than 30%in the three environments.The identified resistant accessions showed the great potential to be applied in resistant peanut breeding,and would be good genetic resources for enhancing the resistance to southern stem rot.Pengmin Fan Wanduo Song Yanping Kang Liyun Wan Yong Lei Dongxin Huai Yuning Chen Xin Wang Huifang Jiang Liying Yan Boshou Liao 2020Oil Crop Science2020,5,4:3
3Advances in Fe(Ⅲ)bioreduction and its application prospect for groundwater remediation:A review显示文摘Microbial Fe(Ⅲ)reduction is a significant driving force for the biogeochemical cycles of C,O,P,S,N,and dominates the natural bio-purification of contaminants in groundwater(e.g.,petroleum hydrocarbons,chlorinated ethane,and chromium).In this review,the mechanisms and environmental significance of Fe(Ⅲ)(hydro)oxides bioreduction are summarized.Compared with crystalline Fe(Ⅲ)(hydro)oxides,amorphous Fe(m)(hydro)oxides are more bioavailable.Ligand and electron shuttle both play an important role in microbial Fe(Ⅲ)reduction.The restrictive factors of Fe(Ⅲ)(hydro)oxides bioreduction should be further investigated to reveal the characteristics and mechanisms of the process.It will improve the bioavailability of crystalline Fe(Ⅲ)(hydro)oxides and accelerate the anaerobic oxidation efficiency of the reduction state pollutants.Furthermore,the approach to extract,culture,and incubate the functional Fe(Ⅲ)reducing bacteria from actual complicated environment,and applying it to the bioremediation of organic,ammonia,and heavy metals contaminated groundwater will become a research topic in the future.There are a broad application prospects of Fe(Ⅲ)(hydro)oxides bioreduction to groundwater bioremediation,which includes the in situ injection and permeable reactive barriers and the innovative Kariz wells system.The study provides an important reference for the treatment of reduced pollutants in contaminated groundwater.Yu Jiang Beidou Xi Rui Li Mingxiao Li Zheng Xu Yuning Yang Shaobo Gao 2019Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2019,13,6:3

6Growth behavior of CVD diamond films with enhanced electron field emission properties over a wide range of experimental parameters显示文摘In this study, diamond films were synthesized on silicon substrates by microwave plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition(CVD) over a wide range of experimental parameters. The effects of the microwave power,CH_4/H_2 ratio and gas pressure on the morphology, growth rate, composition, and quality of diamond films were investigated by means of scanning electron microscope(SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD), Raman spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). A rise of microwave power can lead to an increasing pyrolysis of hydrogen and methane, so that the microcrystalline diamond film could be synthesized at low CH_4/H_2 levels. Gas pressure has similar effect in changing the morphology of diamond films, and high gas pressure also results in dramatically increased grain size. However,diamond film is deteriorated at high CH_4/H_2 ratio due to the abundant graphite content including in the films. Under an extreme condition of high microwave power of 10 kW and high CH_4 concentration, a hybrid film composed of diamond/graphite was successfully formed in the absence of N_2 or Ar,which is different from other reports. This composite structure has an excellent measured sheet resistance of 10-100 Ω/Sqr. which allows it to be utilized as field electron emitter. 7Circuit design of RRAM-based neuromorphic hardware systems for classification and modified Hebbian learning显示文摘This paper proposes a solution to the learning of neuromorphic hardware systems based on metal-oxide resistive random access memory(RRAM) arrays, which are used as binary electronic synapses.A modified Hebbian learning method is developed to update the binary synaptic weights, and mixed-signal circuits are designed to implement the proposed learning method. The circuits are verified by SPICE, and systematic simulations are also conducted to verify the capability of the neuromorphic system to process relatively large databases. 8Identification of major QTL for seed number per pod on chromosome A05 of tetraploid peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)显示文摘The inheritance of pod-and seed-number traits(PSNT) in peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.) is poorly understood. In the present study, a recombinant inbred line(RIL) population of 188 lines was used to map quantitative trait loci(QTL) for number of seeds per pod(NSP),number of pods per plant(NPP), and numbers of one-, two-, and three-seeded pods per plant(N1 PP, N2 PP, and N3 PP) in four environments. A total of 28 consensus QTL and 14 single QTL were identified, including 11 major and stable QTL. Four major and stable QTL including qN3 PPA5.2, q N3 PPA5.4, qN3 PPA5.5, and qN3 PPA5.7 each explained 12.3%–33.0% of phenotype variation. By use of another integrated linkage map for the A5 group(hereafter referred to as INT A5 group), QTL for PSNT were located in seven intervals of 0.73–9.68 Mb in length on chromosome A05, and candidate genes underlying N3 PP were suggested. These findings shed light on the genetic basis of PSNT. 13Metagenomic insights into the variation of bacterial communities and potential pathogenic bacteria in drinking water treatment and distribution systems显示文摘High-throughput sequencing of 16S rRNA gene amplicons was conducted to characterize the changing patterns of bacterial community and potential pathogens in full-scale drinking water treatment and distribution systems.Results showed that Actinobacteria was the predominant phylum in source water,while Proteobacteria dominated after chlorine disinfection and its relative abundance increased from 40.88%±9.45%to 67.86%±27.10%.The genera Pseudarthrobacter,Arenimonas,and Limnohabitans were effectively removed by chlorination,while Phreatobacter,Undibacterium,Pseudomonas,and Sphingomonas within the Proteobacteria phylum were greatly enriched after chlorination.Metagenomic analyses revealed the occurrence of 56 species of potential pathogenic bacteria within 17 genera in drinking water,mainly including Pseudomonas fluorescens and five mycobacteria species,which were also persistent in tap water samples.The bacteria were found to be involved in various pathways,among which considerable groups were related to human diseases,including infectious diseases and even cancers.Ruiming Jiang Zihan Li Qisheng Li Yunqi Liu Yuning Zhu Zimo Chen Peng Liu Shuyu Jia Hongqiang Ren Xu-Xiang Zhang 2022National Science Open2022,1,2:1

15Integrated genetic linkage map of cultivated peanut by three RIL populations显示文摘High-density and precise genetic linkage map is fundamental to detect quantitative trait locus (QTL) of agronomic and quality related traits in cultivated peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.). In this study, three linkage maps from three RIL (recombinant inbred line)populations were used to construct an integrated map. A total of 2,069 SSR and transposon markers were anchored on the high-density integrated map which covered 2,231.53 cM with 20 linkage groups. Totally, 92 QTLs correlating with pod length (PL), pod width (PW), hundred pods weight (HPW) and plant height (PH) from above RIL populations were mapped on it. Seven intervals were found to harbor QTLs controlling the same traits in different populations,including one for PL, three for PW, two for HPW, and one for PH. Besides, QTLs controlling different traits in different populations were found to be overlapped in four intervals.Interval on A05 contains 17 QTLs for different traits from two RIL populations. 16Estimation of Production Amount of Livestock and Poultry Manure and Environmental Impact Assessment in Guangxi显示文摘This study was intended to estimate production of major livestock and poultry manure and contaminant content,and find out current situation of manure pollution,so as to provide reference for pollution control of livestock and poultry breeding industry in Guangxi.Based on the related statistic data in 2010 and the excretion coefficient of different livestock and poultry,the manure and its contaminant production amount of main livestock and poultry in Guangxi were estimated.Then the annual livestock and poultry manure load of farmland and the loss of contaminant were also calculated to analyze the ecological pressure resulted from livestock and poultry breeding in Guangxi.Following results were obtained:in 2010,the production amount of the livestock and poultry manure in Guangxi was 9141.30×104tons,including nutrient TN42.07×104tons and TP 13.62×104tons;the annual livestock and poultry manure and N,P pure nutrient load of farmland was 21t/hm2,98kg/hm2,and 32 kg/hm2respectively;the production amount of manure contaminants was BOD5383.43×104tons,COD Cr435.42×104tons,and NH3-N 42.08×104tons;according to 30%loss rate,the loss amount of COD Cr and NH3-N was higher than the sum of industrial and life waste water.It was concluded that the livestock and poultry breeding industry had little impact on soil environment,but posed a grave threat to water environment.Qing LIAO Dongliang HUANG Zepu JIANG Guangpo WEI Panxia LIANG Yuning WANG Yangrui LI 2013Asian Agricultural Research2013,5,11:0

18Correlation and variability analysis of yield and quality related traits in different peanut varieties across various ecological zones of China显示文摘Peanut cultivation in China spans various ecological zones, each with unique environmental conditions. Identifying suitable peanut varieties for these regions has been challenging due to significant phenotypic variations observed across environments. This study, based on a comprehensive analysis of 256 peanut varieties, selected nine representative varieties(Huayu23, Yuanza9102, Silihong, Wanhua2, Zhonghua6, Zhonghua16, Zhonghua21,Zhonghua215, Zhonghua24) for cultivation in five distinct ecological zones including Chengdu, Hefei, Nanjing,Shijiazhuang, and Wuhan. The yield and quality related phenotypic traits of these varieties were thoroughly assessed, revealing a complex interplay between genetic and environmental factors. Principal component analysis(PCA) effectively distinguished varieties based on yield and quality traits. Strong correlations were observed between specific traits, such as seed size and quality components. The G × E interaction was evident, as some varieties consistently performed better in certain environments. Varieties with lower coefficient of variation(CV)values exhibited stable trait expression, making them reliable choices for broad cultivation. In contrast, varieties with higher CV values displayed greater sensitivity to environmental fluctuations, potentially due to specific genetic factors. Two high oleic acid varieties, Zhonghua24 and Zhonghua215, demonstrated remarkable stability in oleic acid content across diverse environments, suggesting the presence of genetic mechanisms that buffer against environmental variations. Overall, this study underscores the importance of selecting peanut varieties based on their adaptability and performance in specific ecological zones. 20Rare tumors: a blue ocean of investigation显示文摘Advances in novel drugs,therapies,and genetic techniques have revolutionized the diagnosis and treatment of cancers,substantially improving cancer patients’prognosis.Although rare tumors account for a non-negligible number,the practice of precision medicine and development of novel therapies are largely hampered by many obstacles.Their low incidence and drastic regional disparities result in the difficulty of informative evidence-based diagnosis and subtyping.Sample exhaustion due to difficulty in diagnosis also leads to a lack of recommended therapeutic strategies in clinical guidelines,insufficient biomarkers for prognosis/efficacy,and inability to identify potential novel therapies in clinical trials.Herein,by reviewing the epidemiological data of Chinese solid tumors and publications defining rare tumors in other areas,we proposed a definition of rare tumor in China,including 515 tumor types with incidences of less than 2.5/100000 per year.We also summarized the current diagnosis process,treatment recommendations,and global developmental progress of targeted drugs and immunotherapy agents on the status quo.Lastly,we pinpointed the current recommendation chance for patients with rare tumors to be involved in a clinical trial by NCCN.With this informative report,we aimed to raise awareness on the importance of rare tumor investigations and guarantee a bright future for rare tumor patients.Shuhang Wang Peiwen Ma Ning Jiang Yale Jiang Yue Yu Yuan Fang Huilei Miao Huiyao Huang Qiyu Tang Dandan Cui Hong Fang Huishan Zhang Qi Fan Yuning Wang Gang Liu Zicheng Yu Qi Lei Ning Li 2023Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,2:0
