| 1 | Application of enriched stable isotope technique to the study of copper bioavailability in Daphnia magna显示文摘The biokinetics of Cu in Daphnia magna, including dissolved uptake, assimilation and efflux, has been determined using a gamma 67 Cu radiotracer methodology. However, this gamma emitting radioisotope is not readily available due to its very short half-life. In the present study, we employed a stable isotope tracer ( 65 Cu) to determine the Cu biokinetics and compared our results to those determined using 67 Cu. The dissolved uptake rate constant of 65 Cu was 3.36 L/(g·day), which is higher than that of 67 Cu (1.32 L/(g·day)). With increasing food concentrations from 2×10 4 to 1×10 5 cells/mL, the Cu assimilation efficiency (AE) decreased from 46% to 11%, compared to a decrease from 27% to 16% when determined using 67 Cu. The efflux of Cu from Daphnia magna was quantified following both dissolved and dietary uptake. The efflux of waterborne Cu was comparable to that of dietborne Cu and the efflux rate constant (0.32-0.52 day 1 ) was higher than that determined by 67 Cu (0.19-0.20 day 1 ). By considering different water properties and handling procedure between the two experiments, we believe that these differences are reasonable. | 3 | High-performance all-polymer solar cells enabled by a novel low bandgap non-fully conjugated polymer acceptor显示文摘The non-fully conjugated polymer as a new class of acceptor materials has shown some advantages over its small molecular counterpart when used in photoactive layers for all-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs),despite a low power conversion efficiency(PCE)caused by its narrow absorption spectra.Herein,a novel non-fully conjugated polymer acceptor PFY-2TS with a low bandgap of~1.40 eV was developed,via polymerizing a largeπ-fused small molecule acceptor(SMA)building block(namely YBO)with a non-conjugated thioalkyl linkage.Compared with its precursor YBO,PFY-2TS retains a similar low bandgap but a higher LUMO level.Moreover,compared with the structural analog of YBO-based fully conjugated polymer acceptor PFY-DTC,PFY-2TS shows a similar absorption spectrum and electron mobility,but significantly different molecular crystallinity and aggregation properties,which results in optimal blend morphology with a polymer donor PBDB-T and physical processes of the device in all-PSCs.As a result,PFY-2TS-based all-PSCs achieved a PCE of 12.31%with a small energy loss of 0.56 eV enabled by the reduced non-radiative energy loss(0.24 eV),which is better than that of 11.08%for the PFY-DTC-based ones.Our work clearly demonstrated that non-fully conjugated polymers as a new class of acceptor materials are very promising for the development of high-performance all-PSCs. | Qunping Fan Ruijie Ma Tao Liu Jianwei Yu Yiqun Xiao Wenyan Su Guilong Cai Yuxiang Li Wenhong Peng Tao Guo Zhenghui Luo Huiliang Sun Lintao Hou Weiguo Zhu Xinhui Lu Feng Gao Ellen Moons Donghong Yu He Yan Ergang Wang | 2021 | Science China Chemistry2021,64,8: | 3 |

| 12 | Synthesis and photovoltaic performance of N-dioctylmethyl- 2,7-carbazole-alt-5,7-bis(thiophen-2-yl)-2,3-biphenylthieno[3,4-b] pyrazine copolymeric derivatives appending various donor units in phenyl moieties显示文摘A series of N-dioctylmethyl-2,7-carbazole-alt-5,7-bis(thiophen-2-yl)-2,3-biphenylthieno[3,4-b]pyrazine(PCz-3Th Pz-Ph)copolymeric derivatives appending various donor units in two phenyl rings,namely,PCz-3Th Pz-Ph Th,PCz-3Th Pz-Ph Fl,PCz-3Th Pz-Ph Cz,and PCz-3Th Pz-Ph Tpa were synthesized and characterized.The effect of these appending donor units,e.g.,thiophene(Th),fluorene(Fl),carbazole(Cz),and triarylamine(Tpa),was investigated on dispersible,optical,electrochemical,and photovoltaic properties for their polymers.The copolymers of PCz-3Th Pz-Ph Cz and PCz-3Th Pz-Ph Tpa containing Cz or Tpa units exhibited higher short-circuit current density(Jsc)and power conversion efficiency(PCE)in their bulk heterojunction polymeric solar cells.The highest PCE of 1.66%and Jsc of 7.16 m A cm 2 were obtained in a device with the PCz-3Th Pz-Ph Cz/PC61BM blend under AM 1.5 G irradiation(100 m W cm 2);these values are 1.78 and 1.59 times higher than the corresponding values for the PCz-3Th Pz-Ph-based device.When PC61BM was placed by PC71BM,the PCz-3Th Pz-Ph Cz-based device displayed an enhanced PCE of 2.98%and a Jsc of 10.88 m A cm 2.This work demonstrated that appending additional hole-transporting units of Cz and Tpa into the side-chain of a polymer with a D-A backbone can significantly enhance the photovoltaic performance of their resultant polymers. | Jianmin Li Hua Tan Fanyuan Meng Wenhong Peng Yafei Wang Yu Liu Weiguo Zhu | 2015 | Science China Chemistry2015,58,2: | 1 |

| 14 | Acute-on-Chronic Liver Failure Precipitated by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 Infection in a Patient with Hepatitis B Virus-Related Cirrhosis: A Case Report显示文摘We present a case of acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF)in a patient with hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related decompensated cirrhosis and coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).A 58-year-old woman with HBV-related and decompensated cirrhosis without any anti-viral treatment previously was admitted to the hospital due to a confirmed severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection.On admission,she was in stable condition.Thoracic computed tomography(CT)and laboratory findings showed no significant abnormalities.Entecavir was initiated promptly for HBV,while antiviral therapy and supportive treatment were initiated for COVID-19.Her lung infection exacerbated after 10days of recurrent fever despite treatments,and there were signs of HBV reactivation.ACLF and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome developed rapidly from day 10 to day 19.The patient’s clinical deterioration was also consistent with pneumonia progression and elevated interleukin 6 levels.SARS-CoV-2 likely precipitated ACLF in cirrhotic patients,either by inducing HBV flare or serving as an acute insult directly.This study discussed the underlying mechanisms of this process and management details.Monitoring HBV status is necessary,and inflammatory parameters might be valuable.HBV suppression should be initiated early,and variceal hemorrhage primary prevention might be beneficial in COVID-19 patients with cirrhosis. | Wanling Chen Qiran Zhang Shijun Li Ruiting Liang Haiqun Liang Yiqi Yu Chao Qiu Jiannan Lv Wenhong Zhang | 2021 | Infectious Diseases & Immunity2021,1,3: | 1 |

| 18 | A novel AH-D-A-type phase junction material to improve photovoltaic performance and device stability in fullerene OSCs显示文摘In order to boost power conversion efficiency(PCE) and operation stability of organic solar cells(OSCs),we propose a new idea of phase junction materials(PJMs) used as a photoactive layer component to improve device performance and stability.For this purpose,a novel PJM of H-TRC8 based on rhodanine unit was designed with a conjugated AH-D-A framework.Here,AH is a hydrogen-donating electron acceptor unit,D-A is an electron donor-acceptor unit.It is found that H-TRC8 has a good carriertransporting ability,as well as definite hydrogen-bond and D-A interaction with donor/acceptor materials.While H-TRC8 is added into the PBDB-T/PC60BM blend film with 1.0 vol% DIO(1,8-diiodooctane),the resulting blend film exhibited an enhanced absorption and improved morphology.The intermolecular hydrogen bond between H-TRC8 and PBDB-T plays an important role for them,which is confirmed via FT-IR spectra and 2D 1H NMR.As a result,the PBDB-T/PC60BM-based devices with 1.25 wt%H-TRC8 and 1.0 vol% DIO exhibit a significantly improved PCE of 8.06%,which is increased by 20.6% in comparison to that in the binary devices with 1.0 vol% DIO only(PCE=6.68%).Furthermore,the device stability is significantly enhanced with only 43% PCE roll-off at 150℃ for 120 h.This work indicates that AH-D-A-type PJMs are promising photovoltaic materials used as photoactive-layer components to achieve high-performance fullerene OSCs with high device stability. | Lin Shao Fei Tong Mengbing Zhu Hao Xia Wenhong Peng Hua Tan Bin Zhang Yu Liu Weiguo Zhu | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,9: | 0 |
