| 1 | Factors Associated with Thrombolysis Outcome in Ischemic Stroke Patients with Atrial Fibrillation显示文摘The outcome of early intravenous thrombolysis for ischemic stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation(AF)is worse than that without thrombosis. How to increase the efficacy of intravenous thrombolysis for AF-related ischemic stroke remains largely unknown. In this study, we investigated factors that influence the effect of intravenous thrombolysis in these patients. Our results showed that thrombolysis was independently associated with a favorable outcome(P \ 0.001) and did not influence the mortality of AF-related ischemic stroke, although it increased the risk of hemorrhage within 24 h after treatment. Risk factors for a poor outcome at admission were:heart failure(P = 0.045); high systolic pressure(P = 0.039); high blood glucose(P = 0.030); and a high National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) score(P \ 0.001). Moreover, high systolic pressure at admission(P = 0.007), high blood glucose(P = 0.027), and a high NIHSS score(P \ 0.001) were independent risk factors for mortality at 3 months. Besides thrombolysis, a high NIHSS score(P = 0.006) and warfarin taken within 48 h before stroke onset(P = 0.032) were also independent risk factors for symptomatic hemorrhage within 24 h after treatment. | 4 | Different contribution of SBP and DBP variability to vascular events in patients with stroke显示文摘Background High blood pressure variability(BPV)is a novel risk factor for cardiovascular disease.However,the heterogeneity of systolic blood pressure variability(SBPV)and diastolic blood pressure variability(DBPV)for different vascular events remains unclear.This study aims to investigate whether SBPV or DBPV has different contribution to vascular events in patients with acute ischaemic stroke(IS)or transient ischaemic attack(TIA).Methods Data from the BOSS(blood pressure and clinical outcome in TIA or IS)study were examined for vascular events at 3-month and 1-year follow-up.BPV was defined as the SD and coefficient of variation(CV)of day-to day measurements within 3 months after IS/TIA.Vascular events include cardiovascular events(myocardial infarction,unstable angina,cardiac death and congestive heart failure)and cerebrovascular events(ischaemic or haemorrhagic stroke).Logistic regression model was used to test the associations between BPV and vascular events.results Of 2325 patients with IS or TIA,103(4.43%)experienced a recurrent stroke and 64(2.75%)had cardiovascular events within 3 months.Day-to day SBPV was only associated with stroke recurrence(BPVSD:OR,1.72,95%CI 1.09 to 2.71;BPVCV:1.86,95%CI 1.19 to 2.92),but not cardiovascular events(BPVSD:1.67,95%CI 0.94 to 2.94;BPVCV:1.51,95%CI 0.86 to 2.64).However,DBPV seems to be related to both stroke(BPVSD:1.60,95%CI 1.02 to 2.49;BPVCV:1.53,95%CI 0.99 to 2.37)and cardiovascular events(BPVSD:2.48,95%CI 1.37 to 4.48;BPVCV:1.92,95%CI 1.09 to 3.36).Similar results were found at 1 year.Conclusions For patients with IS/TIA,stroke recurrence was associated with both SBPV and DBPV;however,cardiovascular events seem to be only related to DBPV. | Liye Dai Aichun Cheng Xiwa Hao Jie Xu Yingting Zuo Anxin Wang Xia Meng Hao Li Yilong Wang Xingquan Zhao Yongjun Wang | 2020 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020,5,2: | 6 |
| 5 | Lanthanum-doped Cu-Mn composite oxide catalysts for catalytic oxidation of toluene显示文摘CuMn mixed oxides catalysts doped with La were prepared following a co-precipitation method and used for the catalytic oxidation of toluene. Catalysts properties of the catalysts were investigated by X-ray diffraction, N_2 adsorption/desorption,scanning electron microscopy, H_2-temperature-programmed reduction(H_2-TPR), O_2-temperature-programmed desorption(O_2-TPD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy techniques. Characterization data reveal that the phase change and decrease in crystallinity of the La-doped catalysts increase the number of oxygen vacancies. Improvements in reducibility and an increase in the amount of chemisorbed oxygen of the La-doped catalysts were also verified by H_2-TPR and O_2-TPD. The activity of the CuMn mixed oxides catalysts is significantly improved by the addition of a nominal amount of La. The CuMn/La-4 mol% catalyst exhibits the best catalytic activity, with a 90%conversion temperature of 255 ℃,attributed to a high Mn^(3+)ratio, superficial chemisorbed oxygen,and high surface area. | 10 | Geology and Geochemistry of the Shizitou Molybdenum Deposit, Jiangxi Province: Implications for Geodynamic Setting and Metallogenesis显示文摘The Shizitou molybdenum(Mo) deposit in Yongping, Jiangxi, is an important, recently discovered deposit in the eastern section of the Qin–Hang metallogenic belt. The Mo deposit is located in the outer contact zone between the porphyritic biotite granite and the Neoproterozoic migmatite, and present in the deep central part of the intrusion. Re–Os dating and S and Pb isotopic analysis have been conducted to assess the metallogenesis of the Shizitou Mo deposit. S, Pb and Re isotopes show that the ore–forming materials were derived from the porphyritic biotite granitic magma, which originated from the mixing of mantle and crust. Re–Os dating of molybdenite from the ores gives a model age from 156.9±2.2 to 158.5±2.4 Ma, with a weighted mean age of 158±1 Ma and an isochron age of 158.0±2.5 Ma. Geological and geochemical characteristics of the ore deposit and the related granitoids indicate that the Shizitou deposit is a Climax–type Mo deposit. Based on previous studies of the Qin–Hang metallogenic belt, two metallogenic events are believed to have occurred during 172–145 Ma and 137–132 Ma. These two metallogenic periods are consistent with the timing of two metallogenic peaks during the middle to late Jurassic and the Cretaceous in South China. | 20 | Somatic mutation contributing to clonal haematopoiesis is a risk factor of recurrent stroke in first-ever acute ischaemic stroke:a prospective cohort study显示文摘Background Somatic mutation contributes to clonal haematopoiesis of indeterminate potential(CHIP)is related to age and associated with a higher risk of stroke and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.Here,we investigated the prognostic significance of CHIP in a large first-ever acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)cohort and explored the underlying mechanisms.Methods We studied a prospective cohort of 6016 patients who had a first-ever AIS in China.Whole-genome sequencing was performed to identify CHIP.High-sensitivity C reactive protein(hs-CRP)levels above 3 mg/L at baseline were defined as hyperinflammation.Recurrent stroke during the 3-month follow-up was the primary outcome.Results Among the 6016 patients who had a first-ever AIS,with a median age was 62 years(IQR,54.0‒70.0),3.70%were identified as CHIP carriers.The most common mutations occurred in the DNMT3A(30.0%)and TET2(11.4%)genes.During a follow-up of 3 months,the presence of CHIP was associated with recurrent stroke(HR 1.62,95%CI 1.04 to 2.51,p=0.03),recurrent ischaemic stroke(HR 1.64,95%CI 1.04 to 2.58,p=0.03)and combined vascular events(HR 1.58,95%CI 1.02 to 2.44,p=0.04)after adjusting for hsCRP levels at baseline in patients who had a first-ever AIS.Subgroup analysis demonstrated that CHIP was only associated with recurrent stroke when patients under hyperinflammation(OR 3.10,95%CI 1.92 to 5.00,p<0.001)but not in those without hyperinflammation(OR 0.18,95%CI 0.03 to 1.04,p=0.06,Pinteraction=0.002).Conclusion Our results suggest that somatic mutations contributing to CHIP increase the risk of short-term recurrent stroke in patients who had a first-ever AIS.Hyperinflammation may be important in the relationship between CHIP and recurrent stroke. | Xin Qiu Yalun Dai Si Cheng Hong-Qiu Gu Yong Jiang Xia Meng Yilong Wang Xingquan Zhao Yingyu Jiang Zhe Xu Xinying Huang Meng Wang Tian Jie Lyu Yubo Wang Jiaxu Weng Lingyun Cui Yi Shangguan Hao Li Yongjun Wang Zixiao Li | 2023 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2023,8,2: | 1 |
