| 1 | Determination of both jasmonic acid and methyl jasmonate in plant samples by liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry显示文摘An efficient method for the simultaneous extraction and quantification of both jasmonic acid(JA)and methyl jasmonate(MeJA) from a single plant sample was developed.Plant tissues were firstly extracted by using 100%cold methanol,then the Sep-pak C18 solid-phase extraction(SPE)cartridges were adopted for the purification of sample extract,and finally JA and MeJA were determined by the liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS-MS)system.It was found that the accuracy was improved by using the extra standard for the estimation and correction of JA and MeJA losses in the extraction and purification process.The detection limits for JA and MeJA were 0.03 and 0.075 ng mL-1,respectively,and the average recovery rate of JA and MeJA was 92.48%and 94.30%.The method was found to be reproducible and selective,yielding well isolated and easily detectable peaks for both JA and MeJA and simplifying the time-consuming extraction and purification.High-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)system was employed as the control detection method for the LC-MS-MS system.The two systems were compared in their specificity and accuracy. | LIU Xia YANG YanLi LIN WanHuang TONG JianHua HUANG ZhiGang XIAO LangTao | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,21: | 10 |
| 2 | Defect and interface engineering in core@shell structure hollow carbon@MoS_(2)nanocomposites for boosted microwave absorption performance显示文摘Defect and interface engineering are efficient approaches to adjust the physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials.In order to effectively utilize these strategies for the improvement of microwave absorption properties(MAPs),in this study,we reported the synthesis of hollow carbon shells and hollow carbon@MoS_(2)nanocomposites by the template-etching and templateetching-hydrothermal methods,respectively.The obtained results indicated that the degree of defect for hollow carbon shells and hollow carbon@MoS_(2)could be modulated by the thickness of hollow carbon shell,which effectively fulfilled the optimization of electromagnetic parameters and improvement of MAPs.Furthermore,the microstructure investigations revealed that the precursor of hollow carbon shells was encapsulated by the sheet-like MoS_(2)in high efficiency.And the introduction of MoS_(2)nanosheets acting as the shell effectively improved the interfacial effects and boosted the polarization loss capabilities,which resulted in the improvement of comprehensive MAPs.The elaborately designed hollow carbon@MoS_(2)samples displayed very outstanding MAPs including strong absorption capabilities,broad absorption bandwidth,and thin matching thicknesses.Therefore,this work provided a viable strategy to improve the MAPs of microwave absorbers by taking full advantage of their defect and interface engineering. | Junxiong Xiao Xiaosi Qi Xiu Gong Qiong Peng Yanli Chen Ren Xie Wei Zhong | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,9: | 6 |
| 3 | Tunable and improved microwave absorption of flower-like core@shell MFe_(2)O_(4)@MoS_(2)(M=Mn,Ni and Zn)nanocomposites by defect and interface engineering显示文摘Previous results revealed that the defect and/or interface had a great impact on the electromagnetic pa-rameters of materials.In order to understand the main physical mechanisms and effectively utilize these strategies,in this study,M Fe_(2)O_(4)and flower-like core@shell M Fe_(2)O_(4)@MoS_(2)(M=Mn,Ni,and Zn)sam-ples with different categories were elaborately designed and selectively produced in large scale through a simple two-step hydrothermal reaction.We conducted the systematical investigation on their microstruc-tures,electromagnetic parameters and microwave absorption performances(MAPs).The obtained results revealed that the large radius of M^(2+)cation could effectively boost the concentration of oxygen vacancy in the M Fe_(2)O_(4)and M Fe_(2)O_(4)@MoS_(2)samples,which resulted in the improvement of dielectric loss capabil-ities and MAPs.Furthermore,the introduction of MoS_(2)nanosheets greatly improved the interfacial effect and enhanced the polarization loss capabilities,which also boosted the MAPs.By taking full advantage of the defect and interface,the designed M Fe_(2)O_(4)@MoS_(2)samples displayed tunable and excellent com-prehensive MAPs including strong absorption capability,wide absorption bandwidth and thin matching thicknesses.Therefore,the clear understanding of defect and interface engineering made these strategies well elaborately designed and applicable to improving MAPs. | Junxiong Xiao Xiaosi Qi Xiu Gong Qiong Peng Yanli Chen Ren Xie Wei Zhong | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,8: | 5 |

| 6 | Activation of the bitter taste sensor TRPM5 prevents high saltinduced cardiovascular dysfunction显示文摘High salt intake is a known risk factor of cardiovascular diseases. Our recent study demonstrated that long-term high salt intake impairs transient receptor potential channel M5(TRPM5)-mediated aversion to high salt concentrations, consequently promoting high salt intake and hypertension;however, it remains unknown whether TRPM5 activation ameliorates cardiovascular dysfunction. Herein we found that bitter melon extract(BME) and cucurbitacin E(CuE), a major compound in BME, lowered high salt-induced hypertension. Long-term BME intake significantly enhanced the aversion to high salt concentrations by upregulating TRPM5 expression and function, eventually decreasing excessive salt consumption in mice. Moreover, dietary BME ameliorated high salt-induced cardiovascular dysfunction and angiotensin II-induced hypertension in vivo. The mechanistic evidence demonstrated that dietary BME inhibited high salt-induced RhoA/Rho kinase pathway overactivation, leading to reduced phosphorylation levels of myosin light chain kinase and myosin phosphatase targeting subunit 1. Furthermore, CuE inhibited vasoconstriction by attenuating L-type Ca^(2+) channel-induced Ca^(2+) influx in vascular smooth muscle cells. | 8 | Molecular characterization and expression analysis of three homoeologous Ta14S genes encoding 14-3-3 proteins in wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)显示文摘The purpose of this study was to characterize Ta14 S homoeologs and assess their functions in wheat seed development.The genomic and c DNA sequences of three Ta14 S homoeologous genes encoding 14-3-3 proteins were isolated.Sequence analysis revealed that the three homoeologs consisted of five exons and four introns and were very highly conserved in the coding regions and in exon/intron structure,whereas the c DNA sequences were variable in the 5′ and 3′-UTR.The three genes,designated as Ta14S-2A,Ta14S-2B and Ta14S-2D,were located in homoeologous group 2 chromosomes.The polypeptide chains of the three Ta14 S genes were highly similar.These genes were most homologous to Hv14 A from barley.Real-time quantitative PCR indicated that the three Ta14 S genes were differentially expressed in different organs at different developmental stages and all exhibited greater expression in primary roots of 1-day-old germlings than in other tissues.Comparison of the expression patterns of the three homoeologous genes at different times after pollination also revealed that their expression was developmentally regulated.The transcription of Ta14S-2B was clearly higher during seed germination,whereas expressions of Ta14S-2A and Ta14S-2D were up-regulated at the beginning of seed imbibition(0–12 h),but declined thereafter.The results suggested that the three Ta14 S homoeologous genes have regulatory roles in seed development and germination. | Xinguo Wang Yanli Wang Ruixia Xiao Xin Chen Jiangping Ren | 2016 | The Crop Journal2016,4,3: | 1 |

| 10 | In situ construction of Co/N/C-based heterojunction on biomass-derived hierarchical porous carbon with stable active sites using a Co-N protective strategy for high-efficiency ORR,OER and HER trifunctional electrocatalysts显示文摘The facile designs and fabrication of noble metal-free electrocatalysts are highly required to achieve multifunctional catalytic activity with excellent stability in Zn-air batteries,fuel cells and water splitting systems.Herein,a heterostructure engineering is applied to construct the high performance Co,Ncontaining carbon-based multifunctional electrocatalysts with the feature of isotype(i.e.n-n type Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC)and anisotype(i.e.p-n type Co_(2)O_(3)-BHPC)heterojunctions for ORR,OER and HER.The nn type Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC,in which biomass(e.g.mushroom)-derived hierarchical porous carbon(BHPC)incorporated with nonstoichiometric active species Co_(2)N_(0.67),is fabricated by using an in situ protective strategy of macrocyclic central Co-N_(4) from CoTPP(5,10,15,20-tetrakis(phenyl)porphyrinato cobalt)precursor through the intermolecularπ-πinteractions between CoTPP and its metal-free analogue H_(2) TPP.Meanwhile,an unprotected strategy of macrocyclic central Co-N_(4) from CoTPP can afford the anisotype Co_(2)O_(3)-BHPC p-n heterojunction.The as-prepared n-n type Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC heterojunction exhibited a higher density of Co-based active sites with outstanding stability and more efficient charge transfer at the isotype heterojunction interface in comparison with p-n type Co_(2)O_(3)-BHPC heterojunction.Consequently,for ORR,Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC exhibits the more positive onset and half-wave potentials of 0.93 and 0.86 V vs.RHE,respectively,superior to those of the commercial 20 wt%Pt/C and most of Cobased catalysts reported so far.To drive a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2),Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC also shows the lower overpotentials of 0.34 and 0.21 V vs.RHE for OER and HER,respectively.Furthermore,the Zn-air battery equipped with Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC displays higher maximum power density(109 mW cm^(-2))and charge-discharge cycle stability.Interestingly,the anisotype heterojunction Co_(2)O_(3)-BHPC as trifunctional electrocatalyst reveals evidently photoelectrochemical enhancement compared with the photostable Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC.That is to say,isotype heterojunction material(n-n type Co^(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC)is equipped with better electrocatalytic performance than anisotype one(p-n type Co_(2)O_(3)-BHPC),but the opposite is true in photoelectrochemical catalysis.Meanwhile,the possible mechanism is proposed based on the energy band structures of the Co_(2)N_(0.67)-BHPC and Co_(2)O_(3)-BHPC and the cocatalyst effects.The present work provides much more possibilities to tune the electrocatalytic and photoelectrochemical properties of catalysts through a facile combination of heterostructure engineering protocol and macrocyclic central metal protective strategy. | Xuehui Lv Zuoxu Xiao Haoyuan Wang Xinlong Wang Lulu Shan Fuling Wang Chuangyu Wei Xiangjie Tang Yanli Chen | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3: | 1 |
