| 1 | The Interaction of Population,Industry and Land in Process of Urbanization in China:A Case Study in Jilin Province显示文摘Urbanization is a complex process that covers a wide range of topics, of which population, industry and land urbanization are three important aspects. Jilin Province is an important agricultural province in China. The contradiction between population, industry and land urbanization is especially prominent here, and its coupling development is of great practical significance. In this paper, the coupling degree of population-industry-land urbanization in Jilin Province in 1990, 2000 and 2010 is measured by coupling mode. The spatial pattern of the coupling degree is analyzed by trend surface analysis and global and local spatial autocorrelation. The influence factors and their spatial differentiation are discussed using multiple linear regression(MLR) model and geographic weighted regression(GWR) model. The results show that: 1) the coupling degree of population-industry-land urbanization in Jilin Province is at a low level. Judging from the change of time scale, the urbanization of most research units is becoming more and more coordinated. From the comparison of spatial scales, there is significant spatial difference in the research units of different administrative levels. 2) Judging from the global change trend, the coupling degree of population-industry-land urbanization in the central region is higher than that in western and eastern regions. The coordination of urbanization in the central region is relatively good, and the distribution of the cold and hot spots is basically the same as that overall. 3) The spatial pattern of the coupling degree is related to the cold and hot spot distribution of the influence coefficient of urban population density and per capita urban construction land. The variation of the coupling degree spatial pattern is synchronous with the spatial change of the urban population density influence coefficient. 4) The degree of agglomeration of the urban population is the main factor promoting the coupling pattern of population-industry-land urbanization in Jilin Province, and the extent of its influence is gradually increasing. | 4 | Temperature dependent Raman and photoluminescence of vertical WS2/MoS2 monolayer heterostructures显示文摘Heterostructures from two-dimensional transition-metal dichalcogenides MX_2 have emerged as a hot topic in recent years due to their various fascinating properties. Here, we investigated the temperature dependent Raman and photoluminescence(PL) spectra in vertical stacked WS_2/MoS_2 monolayer heterostructures. Our result shows that both E_(2g)~1 and A_(1g) modes of WS_2 and MoS_2 vary linearly with temperature increasing from 300 to 642 K. The PL measurement also reveals strong temperature dependencies of the PL intensity and peak position. The activation energy of the thermal quenching of the PL emission has been found to be equal to 69.6 meV. | 5 | Propofol attenuates high glucose-induced P66shc expression in human umbilical vein endothelial cells through Sirt1显示文摘Perioperative hyperglycemia is a common metabolic disorder in clinic settings.Hyperglycemia leads to endothelial inflammation,endothelial cell apoptosis,and dysfunction,thus resulting in endothelial injury.Propofol(2,6-diisopropylphenol)is a widely used intravenous anesthetic in clinic settings.Our previous study indicated that propofol inhibits mitochondrial reactive oxygen species(ROS)production via down-regulation of phosphatase A2(PP2A)expression,inhibition of Ser36-p66shc dephosphorylation and mitochondrial translocation,thus improving high glucose-induced endothelial injury.The expression of p66shc was inhibited by propofol in hyperglycemic human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs).However,the mechanism by which propofol inhibits p66shc expression in hyperglycemic HUVECs is still obscure.In the present study,we mainly examined how propofol inhibited high glucose-induced p66shc expression in HUVECs.Compared with 5 mM glucose treatment,high glucose increased p66shc expression and decreased sirt1 expression,which was inhibited by propofol treatment.Moreover,EX527(a sirt1 inhibitor)reversed the effect of propofol against high glucose-induced p66shc expression.However,EX527 did not reverse the effects of propofol against high glucose-induced ROS accumulation,endothelial inflammation,and apoptosis.Furthermore,when cells were incubated with propofol,EX527,and FTY720(a PP2A activator)simultaneously,the effects of propofol against high glucose-induced ROS accumulation,inflammation,and apoptosis were reversed.Our results suggested that propofol inhibited high glucose-induced p66shc expression via upregulation of sirt1 expression in hyperglycemic HUVECs.Moreover,propofol protects against high glucose-mediated ROS accumulation and endothelial injury via both inhibition of p66shc expression and dephosphorylation of Ser36-p66shc. | Jing Wang Jie Qi Qichao Wu Hui Jiang Yuehao Yin Yan Huanx Yanjun Zhao Minmin Zhu | 2019 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,2: | 5 |
| 6 | Elastic and thermodynamic properties of TiC from first-principles calculations显示文摘Using the pseudopotential plane-wave method, we investigate the elastic constants and thermodynamic properties of the rocksalt structure Titanium Carbide (TiC). The obtained lattice parameters, bulk modulus and elastic constants are in very good agreement with the available experimental data and other theoretical results. The thermodynamic properties of the cubic TiC are predicted by using the quasi-harmonic Debye model. The normalized volume V/V 0 , bulk modulus B, thermal expansion , heat capacity C V , Grüneisen parameter and Debye temperature dependence on the pressure and temperature are obtained successfully. At low temperature and low pressure, thermal expansion coefficient increases rapidly with temperature. At high temperature and high pressure, the increasing trend becomes tender. | 10 | Reevaluation of the Holotype of Odorrana schmackeri Boettger,1892(Amphibia:Anura:Ranidae) and Characterization of One Cryptic Species in O.schmackeri sensu lato through Integrative Approaches显示文摘The Odorrana schmackeri sensu la to is a group of cascade frogs that are widely distributed in southern China.However,their taxonomy has long been unresolved and several cryptic species have been reported in the past decade.Previous analyses revealed the existence of three sympatrie species(i.c,O.schmackeri,O.hejiangensis and O.sp2) at the type locality of O.schmackeri(Gaojiayan Town,Yichang City,Hubei Province,China).However,the lack of an original description for the holotype specimen(SMF6241) of O.schmackeri poses a confusing and controversial problem in species nomination within this group.Here,we reevaluate the taxonomic affinities of SMF6241 and examine the distinctness of O.sp2 based on specimens from the type locality.We use integrative approaches that combine morphology with 10 microsatellite loci and bioacoustics.Canonical discriminant analysis of morphological characteristics revealed three distinct groupings(i.e.,O.schmackeri,O.hejiangensis and O.sp2) and attributed SMF6241 to O.schmackeri.Genetic clustering analysis of nuclear DNA also identified three corresponding clusters.In addition,analysis of interspecific variation in morphometrics and acoustics showed divergence between O.sp2 and its sympatric congeners.All lines of evidence from morphological,molecular and bioacoustic approaches suggest the species status of O.sp2,namely Odorrana ichangensis Chen,sp.nov.Overall,this study resolves the taxonomic assignment of the holotype of O.schmackeri and provides an example for species delimitation using integrative approaches. | Huijun SHEN Yanjun ZHU Zhen LI Zhuo CHEN Xiaohong CHEN | 2020 | Asian Herpetological Research2020,11,4: | 3 |

| 12 | Using trace elements of magnetite to constrain the origin of the Pingchuan hydrothermal low-Ti magnetite deposit in the Panxi area, SW China显示文摘The Pingchuan iron deposit, located in the Yanyuan region of Sichuan Province, SW China, has an ore reserve of 40 Mt with ~60 wt% Fe. Its genesis is still poorly understood. The Pingchuan iron deposit has a paragenetic sequence of an early Fe-oxide–Pyrite stage(Ⅰ) and a late Fe-oxide–pyrrhotite stage(Ⅱ). Stage Ⅰ magnetite grains are generally fragmented, euhedral–subhedral, largesized crystals accompanying with slightly postdated pyrite.Stage Ⅱ magnetite grains are mostly unfragmented, anhedral, relatively small-sized grains that co-exist with pyrrhotite. Combined with micro-textural features and previously-obtained geochronological data, we consider that these two stages of iron mineralization in the Pingchuan deposit correspond to the Permian ELIP magmatism and Cenozoic fault activity event. Both the Stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ magnetites are characterized with overall lower contents of trace elements(including Cr, Ti, V, and Ni) than the ELIP magmatic magnetite, which suggests a hydrothermal origin for them. ‘‘Skarn-like'' enrichment in Sn, Mn, and Zn in the Stage Ⅰ magnetite grains indicate significant material contributions from carbonate wall-rocks due to water–rock interaction in ore-forming processes. Stage Ⅱ magnetite grains contain higher Mn concentrations than Stage Ⅰ magnetite grains, which possibly implies more contribution from carbonate rocks. In multiple-element diagrams, the Stage Ⅰ magnetite shows systematic similarities to Kiruna-type magnetite rather than those from other types of deposits. | 13 | Detection of the Pandemic H1N1/2009 Influenza A Virus by a Highly Sensitive Quantitative Real-time Reverse-transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction Assay显示文摘A quantitative real time reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) assay with specific primers recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) has been widely used successfully for detection and monitoring of the pandemic H1N1/2009 influenza A virus. In this study, we report the design and characterization of a novel set of primers to be used in a qRT-PCR assay for detecting the pandemic H1N1/2009 virus. The newly designed primers target three regions that are highly conserved among the hemagglutinin (HA) genes of the pandemic H1N1/2009 viruses and are different from those targeted by the WHO-recommended primers. The qRT-PCR assays with the newly designed primers are highly specific, and as specific as the WHO-recommended primers for detecting pandemic H1N1/2009 viruses and other influenza viruses including influenza B viruses and influenza A viruses of human, swine, and raccoon dog origin. Furthermore, the qRT-PCR assays with the newly designed primers appeared to be at least 10-fold more sensitive than those with the WHO-recommended primers as the detection limits of the assays with our primers and the WHO-recommended primers were 2.5 and 25 copies of target RNA per reaction, respectively. When tested with 83 clinical samples, 32 were detected to be positive using the qRT-PCR assays with our designed primers, while only 25 were positive by the assays with the WHO-recommended primers. | 16 | Two Ultraviolet Radiation Datasets that Cover China显示文摘Ultraviolet(UV) radiation has significant effects on ecosystems, environments, and human health, as well as atmospheric processes and climate change. Two ultraviolet radiation datasets are described in this paper. One contains hourly observations of UV radiation measured at 40 Chinese Ecosystem Research Network stations from 2005 to 2015. CUV3 broadband radiometers were used to observe the UV radiation, with an accuracy of 5%, which meets the World Meteorology Organization's measurement standards. The extremum method was used to control the quality of the measured datasets. The other dataset contains daily cumulative UV radiation estimates that were calculated using an all-sky estimation model combined with a hybrid model. The reconstructed daily UV radiation data span from 1961 to 2014. The mean absolute bias error and root-mean-square error are smaller than 30% at most stations, and most of the mean bias error values are negative, which indicates underestimation of the UV radiation intensity. These datasets can improve our basic knowledge of the spatial and temporal variations in UV radiation. | 19 | Ternary BiOBr/TiO2/Ti3C2Tx MXene nanocomposites with heterojunction structure and improved photocatalysis performance显示文摘The rational design and construction of heterojunction structure is an effective strategy to improve the photocatalytic performance.Herein,a series of BiOBr nanosheets-immobilized TiO2/Ti3C2Tx MXene hybrid materials with heterojunction structure were synthesized by a facial one-step hydrothermal method.The ternary composites show outstanding performance as photocatalysts for the degradation of rhodamine B due to the optimized synergetic effects of BiOBr,TiO2 and Ti3C2Tx.The improved photocatalytic performance is remarkably attributed to the construction of a heterojunction between TiO2 and BiOBr due to their well-matching of energy band position,which can enhance the absorption for visible light and promote the transfer of photo-generated charge carriers.Moreover,Ti3C2Tx acts as an electron trap to further accelerate the separation of photo-generated electrons and holes. | Tianxiang Xu Jiapei Wang Ye Cong Song Jiang Qin Zhang Hui Zhu Yanjun Li Xuanke Li | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,4: | 2 |
