1高血压病中医分型的代谢组学研究(英文)显示文摘目的:将传统中医辨证方法同现代系统生物学理论相结合,探讨原发性高血压辨证分型与基于GC/MS的血清代谢组学的关系。方法:原发性高血压辨证分为肝火亢盛、痰湿雍盛及阴虚阳亢三型。应用GC/MS测定健康人及原发性高血压病人血清内源性代谢物,并用主成分分析(PCA)、偏最小乘方分析(PLS-DA)和马氏距离(MD)分析他们的代谢谱。结果:PCA和PLS-DA分析的结果表明:健康人与高血压病人血清代谢谱有明显差异,能够被区分开,但PCA和PLS-DA不能将中医高血压的三型完全分开。利用MD不仅可以清晰地区分上述三种类型的高血压,同时还显示高血压的发展过程。结论:基于GC/MS和模式识别的代谢组学在揭示传统中医理论本质上有着广泛的应用前景。LU Yi-hong HAO Hai-ping WANG Guang-ji CHEN Hu-xiao ZHU Xuan-xuan XIANG Bing-ren HUANG Qing A Ji-Y 2007中国临床药理学与治疗学2007,12,10:54
2Procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids vs traditional surgery for outlet obstructive constipation显示文摘AIM: To compare the clinical efficacies of two surgical procedures for hemorrhoid rectal prolapse with outlet obstruction-induced constipation.METHODS: One hundred eight inpatients who underwent surgery for outlet obstructive constipation caused by internal rectal prolapse and circumferential hemorrhoids at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from June 2012 to June 2013 were prospectively included in the study.The patients with rectal prolapse hemorrhoids with outlet obstructioninduced constipation were randomly divided into two groups to undergo either a procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH)(n = 54) or conventional surgery(n = 54; control group).Short-term(operative time,postoperative hospital stay,postoperative urinary retention,postoperative perianal edema,and postoperative pain) and long-term(postoperative anal stenosis,postoperative sensory anal incontinence,postoperative recurrence,and postoperative difficulty in defecation) clinical effects were compared between the two groups.The short- and long-term efficacies of the two procedures were determined.RESULTS: In terms of short-term clinical effects,operative time and postoperative hospital stay were significantly shorter in the PPH group than in the control group(24.36 ± 5.16 min vs 44.27 ± 6.57 min,2.1 ± 1.4 d vs 3.6 ± 2.3 d,both P < 0.01).The incidence of postoperative urinary retention was higher in the PPH group than in the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(48.15% vs 37.04%).Theincidence of perianal edema was significantly lower in the PPH group(11.11% vs 42.60%,P < 0.05).The visual analogue scale scores at 24 h after surgery,first defecation,and one week after surgery were significantly lower in the PPH group(2.9 ± 0.9 vs 8.3 ± 1.1,2.0 ± 0.5 vs 6.5 ± 0.8,and 1.7 ± 0.5 vs 5.0 ± 0.7,respectively,all P < 0.01).With regard to long-term clinical effects,the incidence of anal stenosis was lower in the PPH group than in the control group,but the difference was not significant(1.85% vs 5.56%).The incidence of sensory anal incontinence was significantly lower in the PPH group(3.70% vs 12.96%,P < 0.05).The incidences of recurrent internal rectal prolapse and difficulty in defecation were lower in the PPH group than in the control group,but the differences were not significant(11.11% vs 16.67% and 12.96% vs 24.07%,respectively).CONCLUSION: PPH is superior to the traditional surgery in the management of outlet obstructive constipation caused by internal rectal prolapse with circumferential hemorrhoids.Ming Lu Bo Yang Yang Liu Qing Liu Hao Wen 2015World Journal of Gastroenterology2015,21,26:57
3Plasma exchange-centered artificial liver support system in hepatitis B virus-related acute-onchronic liver failure:a nationwide prospective multicenter study in China显示文摘BACKGROUND:Plasma exchange(PE)-centered artificial liver support system reduced the high mortality rate of hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF).But the data were diverse in different medical centers.The present prospective nationwide study was to evaluate the effects of PE on patients with HBV-ACLF at different stages.METHODS:From December 2009 to December 2011,we evaluated 250 patients at different stages of HBV-ACLF from 10 major medical centers in China.All the laboratory parameters were collected at admission,before and after PE.RESULTS:Among the 250 patients who underwent 661 rounds of PE,one-month survival rate was 61.6%; 141(56.4%) showed improvement after PE.Variables such as age(P=0.000),levels of total bilirubin(TB,P=0.000),direct bilirubin(P=0.000),total triglycerides(P=0.000),low-density lipoprotein(P=0.022),Na+(P=0.014),Cl–(P=0.038),creatinine(Cr,P=0.007),fibrinogen(P=0.000),prothrombin time(PT,P=0.000),white blood cell(P=0.000),platelet(P=0.003) and MELD(P=0.000) were significantly related to prognosis.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age,disease stage,TB,Cr and PT levels were independent risk factors of mortality among HBV-ACLF patients.CONCLUSIONS:PE can improve the clinical outcome of patients with HBV-ACLF.Levels of TB,Cr and PT,age and disease stage help to predict prognosis.Jia-Jia Chen Jian-Rong Huang Qian Yang Xiao-Wei Xu Xiao-Li Liu Shao-Rui Hao Hui-Fen Wang Tao Han Jing Zhang Jian-He Gan Zhi-Liang Gao Yu-Ming Wang Shu-Mei Lin Qing Xie Chen Pan Lan-Juan Li 2016Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases International2016,15,3:48

5Sequencing of Cultivated Peanut, Arachis hypogaea, Yields Insights into Genome Evolution and Oil Improvement显示文摘Cultivated peanut (Arachis hypogaea) is an allotetraploid crop planted in Asia, Africa, and America for edible oil and protein. To explore the origins and consequences of tetraploidy, we sequenced the allotetraploid A. hypogaea genome and compared it with the related diploid Arachis duranensis and Arachis ipaensis genomes. We annotated 39 888 A-subgenome genes and 41 526 B-subgenome genes in allotetraploid peanut. The A. hypogaea subgenomes have evolved asymmetrically, with the B subgenome resembling the ancestral state and the A subgenome undergoing more gene disruption, loss, conversion, and transposable element proliferation, and having reduced gene expression during seed development despite lacking genome-wide expression dominance. Genomic and transcriptomic analyses identified more than 2 500 oil metabolism-related genes and revealed that most of them show altered expression early in seed development while their expression ceases during desiccation, presenting a comprehensive map of peanut lipid biosynthesis. 8Hepatitis B virus infection:A favorable prognostic factor for intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma after resection显示文摘AIM: To study the prognostic factors for intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) and evaluate the impact of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection on survival rate of ICC patients. METHODS: A total of 155 ICC patients who underwent macroscopic curative resections (R0 and R1) were enrolled in this retrospective study and divided into group A with HBV infection and group B without HBV infection according to their chronic HBV infection, represented by positive hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) in serum or in liver tissue. Clinicopathological characteristics and survival rate of the patients were evaluated. RESULTS: All patients underwent anatomical resection. Their 1- and 3-year survival rates were 60.6% and 32.1%, respectively. Multivariate analyses revealed that HBV infection, hepatolithiasis, microscopic satellite lesion, and lymphatic metastasis were the independent prognostic factors for the survival rate of ICC patients. The median disease-free survival time of the patients was 5.0 mo. The number of tumors, microscopic satellite lesion, and vascular invasion were the independent prognostic factors for the disease-free survival rate of the patients. The prognostic factors affecting the survival rate of ICC patients with HBV infection and those without HBV infection were not completely consistent. Alkaline phosphatase > 119 U/L, microscopic satellite lesion, vascular invasion, and lymphatic metastasis were the independent factors for the patients with HBV infection, while rglutamyltransferase > 64 U/L, microscopic satellite lesion, and poor tumor differentiation were the independent factors for the patients without HBV infection. CONCLUSION: HBV infection is a valuable clinical factor for predicting tumor invasiveness and clinical outcome of ICC patients. 9Relationship of Inflammation and Endothelial Dysfunction with Risks to Cardiovascular Disease among People in Inner Mongolia of China显示文摘Objective To explore the relationship of inflammation and endothelial dysfunction with risks to cardiovascular disease(CVD).Methods Blood pressure,body weight,body height,waist circumference and lifestyle risk factors were measured and studied among 2589 participants in Inner Mongolia of China,and biomarkers of inflammation and endothelial dysfunction including high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hsCRP),soluble inter-cellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1),soluble E-selectin(sE-selectin),and angiotensin II were investigated.Results Subjects with metabolic risk factors for CVD had higher levels of hsCRP,sE-selectin and sICAM-1 than those without such risk factors(all P<0.05).Levels of all biomarkers positively and significantly increased with aggregation of the metabolic risk factors among the subjects(all P for trend<0.001).Data from the multivariate analysis showed that participants with high levels of hsCRP [odds ratio(OR): 1.96,95% confidence interval(CI): 1.52-2.53],sE-selectin(OR: 1.35,95% CI: 1.05-1.72),and angiotensin II(OR: 1.81,95% CI: 1.40-2.33) were more likely to develop hypertension; participants with high levels of hsCRP(OR: 2.33,95% CI: 1.85-2.94),sE-selectin(OR: 1.24,95% CI: 1.00-1.54),and sICAM-1(OR: 1.70,95% CI: 1.30-2.22) were more likely to develop dyslipidemia,and those with high levels of hsCRP(OR: 2.95,95% CI: 2.27-3.83) and sICAM-1(OR: 2.80,95% CI: 2.06-3.80) were more likely to develop hyperglycemia.Conclusion Biomarkers of inflammation and endothelial dysfunction were separately associated with relevant metabolic risk factors for CVD.And appropriate measures should be taken to control inflammation and improve endothelial function among individuals with different metabolic risk factors for CVD.PENG Hao HAN Shu Hai LIU Hai Ying Vasisht CHANDNI CAI Xiao Qing ZHANG Yong Hong 2013Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2013,26,10:15
10DNA image cytometry test for primary screening of esophageal cancer: a population-based multi-center study in high-risk areas in China显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the feasibility of DNA image cytometry(DNA-ICM) as a primary screening method for esophageal squamous cell cancer(ESCC).Methods: A total of 5,382 local residents aged 40–69 years from three high-risk areas in China(Linzhou in Henan province, Feicheng in Shandong province and Cixian in Hebei province) from 2008 to 2011 were recruited in this population-based screening study. And 2,526 subjects declined to receive endoscopic biopsy examination with Lugol's iodine staining, while 9 and 815 subjects were excluded from liquid-based cytology and DNA-ICM test respectively due to slide quality. Finally, 2,856, 5,373 and 4,567 subjects were enrolled in the analysis for endoscopic biopsy examination, liquid-based cytology and DNA-ICM test, respectively. Sensitivity(SE), specificity(SP), negative predictive values(NPV) and positive predictive values(PPV) as well as their 95% confidence intervals(95% CI) for DNA-ICM, liquid-based cytology and the combination of the two methods were calculated. Receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curves were applied to determine the cutoff point of DNA-ICM for esophageal cancer.Results: DNA-ICM results were significantly correlative with esophageal cancer and precancer lesions(χ~2=18.016, P<0.001). The cutoff points were 5,802, 5,803 and 8,002 based on dissimilar pathological types of low grade intraepithelial neoplasia(LGIN), high grade intraepithelial neoplasia(HGIN), and ESCC, respectively, and 5,803 was chosen in this study considering the SE and SP. The SE, SP, PPV, NPV of DNA-ICM test(cutoff point 5,803) combined with liquid-based cytology [threshold atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance(ASCUS)] were separately 72.1%(95% CI: 70.3%-73.9%), 43.3%(95% CI: 41.3%-45.3%), 22.8%(95% CI: 21.1%-24.5%) and 87.0%(95% CI: 85.7%-88.3%) for LGIN, 85.7%(95% CI: 84.3%-87.1%), 41.3%(95% CI: 39.3%-43.3%), 4.6%(95% CI: 3.8%-5.4%) and 98.9%(95% CI: 98.5%-99.3%) for HGIN, and 96.0%(95% CI: 95.2%-96.8%), 40.8%(95% CI: 38.8%-42.8%), 1.7%(95% CI: 1.2%-2.2%) and 99.9%(95% CI: 99.8%-100.0%) for ESCC.Conclusions: It is possible to use DNA-ICM test as a primary screening method before endoscopic screening for esophageal cancer.Meng Wang Changqing Hao Qing Ma Guohui Song Shanrui Ma Deli Zhao Lin Zhao Xinqing Li Wenqiang Wei 2016Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2016,28,4:15

13Punicalagin ameliorates collagen-induced arthritis by downregulating M1 macrophage and pyroptosis via NF-κB signaling pathway显示文摘Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a chronic inflammatory disease that eventually leads to disability.Inflammatory cell infiltration,severe joint breaking and systemic bone loss are the main clinical symptoms.In this study,we established a collagen-induced arthritis(CIA)model and found a large number of M1 macrophages and pyroptosis,which are important sources of proinflammatory cytokines.Punicalagin(PUN)is an active substance extracted from pomegranate peel.We found that it inhibited joint inflammation,cartilage damage and systemic bone destruction in CIA mice.PUN effectively alleviated the high expression of inflammatory cytokines in synovial tissue in vivo.PUN treatment shifted macrophages from the M1 phenotype to the M2 phenotype after stimulation with lipopolysaccharide(LPS)and interferon(IFN)-γ.The expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase(i NOS)and other proinflammatory cytokines released by M1 macrophages was decreased in the PUN treatment group.However,simultaneously,the expression of markers of anti-inflammatory M2 macrophages,such as arginase(Arg)-1 and interleukin(IL)-10,was increased.In addition,PUN treatment attenuated pyroptosis by downregulating the expression of NLRP3 and caspase-1,thereby preventing inflammatory cell death resulting from the release of IL-1βand IL-18.Mechanistically,PUN inhibited the activation of receptor activators of the nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB)signaling pathway,which contributes to M1 polarization and pyroptosis of macrophages.We concluded that PUN ameliorated pathological inflammation by inhibiting M1 phenotype polarization and pyroptosis and has great potential as a therapeutic treatment for human RA.Gaoran Ge Jiaxiang Bai Qing Wang Xiaolong Liang Huaqiang Tao Hao Chen Minggang Wei Junjie Niu Huilin Yang Yaozeng Xu Yuefeng Hao Yi Xue Dechun Geng 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,3:14
14Determination of Anthocyanins and Exploration of Relationship between Their Composition and Petal Coloration in Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia hybrid)显示文摘Petal coloration and pigment components in 12 American crape myrtle cultivars (Lagerstroemia indica × Lagerstroemia fauriei) and five Chinese crape myrtle cultivars (L. indica hybrids) were studied. Color was measured by CIEL*a*b* scale and anthocyanin composition of crape myrtle was determined using high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to photodiode array detection and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry. The presence of the previously reported delphinidin 3-O-glucoside,petunidin 3-O-glucoside and malvidin 3-O-glucoside were confirmed. Cyanidin 3-O-glucoside was identified in crape myrtle for the first time. We explored the relationship between petal color and anthocyanin contents by multiple linear regression analyses. The results indicated that total flavones and flavonols were important variables and contributed to blue-enhancing in crape myrtle. 16Study of nano-nitramine explosives:preparation,sensitivity and application显示文摘Nano-nitramine explosives(RDX.HMX.CL-20) are produced on a bi-directional grinding mill.The scanning electron microscope(SEM)observations show that the prepared particles are semi-spherical,and the narrow size distributions are characterized using the laser particle size analyzer.Compared with the micron-sized samples,the nano-products show obvious decrease in friction and impact sensitivities.In the case of shock sensitivities,nano-products have lower values by 59.9%(RDX),56.4%(HMX),and 58.1%(CL-20),respectively.When nano-RDX and nano-HMX are used in plastic bonded explosives(PBX) as alternative materials of micron-sized particles,their shock sensitivities are significantly decreased by 24.5%(RDX) and 22.9%(HMX),and their detonation velocities are increased by about 1.7%.Therefore,it is expected to promote the application of nano-nitramine explosives in PBXs and composite modified double-based propellants(CMDBs) so that some of their properties would be improved.Jie LIU Wei JIANG Qing YANG Jian SONG Ga-zi HAO Feng-sheng LI 2014Defence Technology(防务技术)2014,10,2:11
