1The efficacy and safety of endovascular recanalization of occluded large cerebral arteries during the subacute phase of cerebral infarction:a case series report显示文摘background Intravenous tissue plasminogen activator with or without mechanical thrombectomy during the acute phase are approved therapies for ischaemic stroke.Due to the short treatment time window(<6 hours)and often treatment failure,these patients would still have an intracranial arterial occlusion(IAO).It is unclear whether these patients can benefit from subsequent interventional recanalizationof their occluded artery in the subacute phase.In this retrospective study,we have examined the efficacy and safety in patients who have received either percutaneous transluminal angioplasty(PTA)or percutaneous transluminal angioplasty and stenting(PTAS)for IAO in the subacute phase of their stroke.Methods Patients with subacute symptomatic ischaemic stroke caused by IAO were assessed to identify the responsible artery and low perfusion areas by CT angiography,MR angiography or digital subtraction angiography.In eligible patients,a PTA or PTAS was performed to reopen the occluded artery.Regular antithrombotic therapy,use of statins,control of risk factors and rehabilitation therapy were prescribed after the procedure.All patients had regular follow-up up to 12 months.results PTA or PTAS was performed in 16 patients with cerebral infarction caused by IAO in the subacute phase.After the procedure,12 cases were recanalized,two were partially recanalized and two failed to open.One patient with left C6 segment occlusion of the carotid artery had a central retinal artery embolism after PTAS.The perioperative adverse events were 6.25%.At 3 months,the distribution of modified Rankin scale scores was 0(seven cases),1(three cases),2(five cases)and 3(one case).conclusion Selective PTA or PTAS could be performed in ischaemic stroke patients with a small infarct size and large area of hypoperfusion from an occluded large cerebral artery after the acute phase.It may improve neurological dysfunction and reduce the incidence of disability.Kangning Chen Xianhua Hou Zhenhua Zhou Guangjian Li Qu Liu Li Gui Jun Hu Shugui Shi 2017Stroke & Vascular Neurology2017,2,3:41
2Stenting for symptomatic intracranial arterial stenosis in China:1-year outcome of a multicentre registry study显示文摘background and purpose A multicentre prospective registry study of individually tailored stenting for a patient with symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis(ICAS)combined with poor collaterals in China showed that the short-term safety and efficacy of stenting was acceptable.However,it remained uncertain whether the low event rate could be of a long term.We reported the 1-year outcome of this registry study to evaluate the long-term efficacy of individually tailored stenting for patients with severe symptomatic ICAS combined with poor collaterals.Methods Patients with symptomatic ICAS caused by 70%-99% stenosis located at the intracranial internal carotid,middle cerebral,intracranial vertebral or basilar arteries combined with poor collaterals were enrolled.Balloon-mounted stent or balloon plus self-expanding stent were selected based on the ease of vascular access and lesion morphology determined by the operators.The primary outcome was the rate of 30-day stroke,transient ischaemic attack and death,and 12-month ischaemic stroke within the same vascular territory,haemorrhagic stroke and vascular death after stenting.results From September 2013 to January 2015,300 patients(ages 58.3±9.78 years)were recruited.Among them,159 patients were treated with balloon-mounted stent and 141 with balloon plus self-expanding stent.During the 1-year follow-up,25 patients had a primary end point event.The probability of primary outcome at 1 year was 8.1%(95% CI 5.3% to 11.7%).In 76 patients with digital subtraction angiography follow-up,27.6%(21/76)had re-stenosis≥50% and 18.4%(14/76)had re-stenosis≥70%.No baseline characteristic was associated with the primary outcome.Conclusion The event rate remains low over 1 year of individually tailored stenting for patients with severe symptomatic ICAS combined with poor collaterals.Further randomised trial of comparing individually tailored stenting with best medical therapy is needed.Ning Ma Yong Zhang Jie Shuai Changchun Jiang Qiyi Zhu Kangning Chen Li Liu Baomin Li Xiangqun Shi Lianbo Gao Yajie Liu Feng Wang Yongli Li Tieyan Liu Hongbo Zheng Dapeng Mo Feng Gao Yilong Wang Yongjun Wang Lei Feng Zhongrong Miao 2018Stroke & Vascular Neurology2018,3,3:29

4Optimal operation strategy for distributed battery aggregator providing energy and ancillary services显示文摘The high penetration of distributed renewable energy raises a higher concern for the safe and economic operation of the smart grid. Distributed batteries equipped in demand-side can not only contribute to the reliability and security of the grid, but also make profits by participating in the electricity market, especially when distributed batteries are combined and operated by an aggregator.Considering the well-operated mechanism of performance based regulation(PBR) in the U.S. electricity market, it becomes increasingly lucrative for batteries to participate not only in energy markets for energy arbitrage, but also in ancillary service markets to provide regulation and peakload shaving services. In this study, distributed batteries are operated and coordinated by the aggregator, which simultaneously submits offers to the energy and the ancillary service markets as an individual entity. An optimaldecision model is formulated for the aggregator to determine the operation and bidding strategy for the distributed batteries by considering the characteristics of batteries,including the terms of capacity, efficiency and degradation cost. 6Multi-sensor image registration by combining local self-similarity matching and mutual information显示文摘Automatic multi-sensor image registration is a challenging task in remote sensing.Conventional image registration algorithms may not be applicable when common underlying visual features are not distinct.In this paper,we propose a novel image registration approach that integrates local self-similarity (LSS)and mutual information (MI)for multi-sensor images with rigid/non- rigid radiometric and geometric distortions.LSS is a well- performing descriptor that captures common,local internal layout features for multi-sensor images,whereas MI focuses on global intensity relationships.First,potential control points are identified by using the Harris algorithm and screened based on the self-similarity of their local surrounding internal layouts.Second,a Bayesian prob- abilistic model for matching the ensemble of the LSS features is introduced.Third,a particle swarm optimization (PSO)algorithm is adopted to optimize the point and region correspondences for maximum self-similarity and MI and,ultimately,a robust mapping function.The proposed approach is compared with several conventional image registration algorithms that are based on the sum of squared differences (SSD),scale-invariant feature trans- forms (SIFT),and speeded-up robust features (SURF) through the experimental registration of pairs of Landsat TM,SPOT,and RADARSAT SAR images.The results demonstrate that the proposed approach is efficient and accurate.Xiaoping LIU Shuli CHEN Li ZHUO Jun LI Kangning HUANG 2018Frontiers of Earth Science2018,12,4:4
7Layered MoS2@graphene functionalized with nitrogen-doped graphene quantum dots as an enhanced electrochemical hydrogen evolution catalyst显示文摘A novel three-dimensional (3D) layered MoS2@graphene functionalized with nitrogen-doped graphene quantum dots (MoS2@N-GQDs-GR) composites as an enhanced electrochemical hydrogen evolution catalyst. The few layered MoS2 nanoflowers supported on N-GQDs-GR surface were elaborately fabricated by one-pot hydrothermal method, which MoS2 and N-GQDs-GR exist in a bonding manner of Mo-N. In addition, due to the layered MoS2 sheet edge exposes more hydrogen evolution active sites and N-GQDs-GR have high conductivity, the composites exhibit prominent electrocatalytic activity with a low overpotential 99 mV, a small Tafel slope 49.3 mV/dec. 8Blue LED-pumped intense short-wave infrared luminescence based on Cr^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-co-doped phosphors显示文摘The growing demand for spectroscopy applications in the areas of agriculture,retail and healthcare has led to extensive research on infrared light sources.The ability of phosphors to absorb blue light from commercial LED and convert the excitation energy into long-wavelength infrared luminescence is crucial for the design of cost-effective and high-performance phosphor-converted infrared LEDs.However,the lack of ideal blue-pumped short-wave infrared(SWIR)phosphors with an emission peak longer than 900 nm greatly limits the development of SWIR LEDs using light converter technology.Here we have developed a series of SWIR-emitting materials with high luminescence efficiency and excellent thermal stability by co-doping Cr^(3+)-Yb^(3+) ion pairs into Lu_(0.2)Sc_(0.8)BO_(3) host materials.Benefitting from strong light absorption of Cr^(3+) in the blue waveband and very efficient Cr^(3+)→Yb^(3+) energy transfer,the as-synthesized Lu_(0.2)Sc_(0.8)BO_(3):Cr^(3+),Yb^(3+) phosphor emits intense SWIR light in the 900-1200 nm from Yb^(3+) under excitation with blue light at~460 nm.The optimized phosphor presents an internal quantum yield of 73.6%and the SWIR luminescence intensity at 100℃can still keep 88.4%of the starting value at 25℃.SWIR LED prototype device based on Lu0.2Sc0.8BO3∶Cr^(3+)Yb^(3+) phosphor exhibits exceptional luminescence performance,delivering SWIR radiant power of 18.4 mW with 9.3%of blue-to-SWIR power conversion efficiency and 5.0%of electricity-to-SWIR light energy conversion efficiency at 120 mA driving current.Moreover,under the illumination of high-power SWIR LED,covert information identification and night vision lighting have been realized,demonstrating a very bright prospect for practical applications.Yan Zhang Shihai Miao Yanjie Liang Chao Liang Dongxun Chen Xihui Shan Kangning Sun Xiao-Jun Wang 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,6:3

12Measurements and correlation of liquid–liquid equilibrium data for the ternary(methyl tert-butyl ketone + o, m, p-benzenediol + water)system at(333.2, 343.2 and 353.2) K显示文摘In this work, liquid–liquid equilibria(LLE) data for the ternary system methyl tert-butyl ketone(MTBK)+ o, m,p-benzenediol + water were investigated at 333.2 K, 343.2 K and 353.2 K under 101.3 kPa. The performance of MTBK to extract o, m, p-benzenediol from wastewaters was estimated by partition coefficients and separation factors. The Hand and Bachman equations were both applied to check the reliability of the experimental LLE data. Furthermore, the Non-Random Two-Liquid(NRTL) and Universal Quasi Chemical(UNIQUAC) models were applied to correlate the measured LLE data. The results showed a good agreement with the determined ternary LLE data with the root-mean-square error(RMSE) values below 0.71%. 13Response of soil respiration to environmental and photosynthetic factors in different subalpine forest-cover types in a loess alpine hilly region显示文摘Soil respiration(Rs)is important for transport-ing or fixing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere,and even diminutive variations can profoundly influence the carbon cycle.However,the R_(s) dynamics in a loess alpine hilly region with representative sensitivity to climate change and fragile ecology remains poorly understood.This study investigated the correlation and degree of control between R_(s) and its photosynthetic and environmental factors in five subalpine forest cover types.We examined the correlations between R_(s) and variables temperature(T_(10)) and soil moisture content at 10 cm depth(W_(10)),net photosynthetic rate(P_(n))and soil properties to establish multiple models,and the variables were measured for diurnal and monthly vari-ations from September 2018 to August 2019.The results showed that soil physical factors are not the main drivers of R_(s) dynamics at the diel scale;however,the trend in the monthly variation in R_(s) was consistent with that of T_(10)and P_(n).Further,R_(s) was significantly affected by pH,providing further evidence that coniferous forest leaves contribute to soil acidification,thus reducing R_(s).Significant exponential and linear correlations were established between R_(s) and T_(10)and W_(10),respectively,and R_(s) was positively correlated with P_(n).Accordingly,we established a two-factor model and a three-factor model,and the correlation coefficients(R_(2))was improved to different degrees compared with models based only on T_(10) and W_(10).Moreover,temperature sensitivity(Q_(10))was the highest in the secondary forest and lowest in the Larix principis-rupprechtii forest.Our findings suggest that the control of R_(s) by the environment(moisture and tempera-ture)and photosynthesis,which are interactive or comple-mentary effects,may influence spatial and temporal homeo-stasis in the region and showed that the models appropriately described the dynamic variation in R_(s) and the carbon cycle in different forest covers.In addition,total phosphorus(TP)and total potassium(TK)significantly affected the dynamic changes in R_(s).In summary,interannual and seasonal variations in forest R_(s) at multiple scales and the response forces of related ecophysiological factors,especially the interactive driving effects of soil temperature,soil moisture and photo-synthesis,were clarified,thus representing an important step in predicting the impact of climate change and formulating forest carbon management policies.Yuanhang Li Sha Lin Qi Chen Xinyao Ma Shuaijun Wang Kangning He 2022Journal of Forestry Research2022,33,2:1

16The effect of the shear flow on directional solidification of SCN-3wt% Salol alloy显示文摘The directional solidification process of SCN-3wt%Salol transparent alloy is investigated in the presence of the shear flow at the liquid-solid interface.It is found that the shear flow induces a stabilizing effect on planar interface.At higher pulling rates,oscillation of the growth pattern together with fluctuation of the growth velocity takes place.With the increase of the pulling rate,the interface growth pattern transits from'planar-cellular'oscillation to'cellular-dendritic'oscillation,and the periodicity increases.The modification of the growth pattern is due to the effect of the shear flow on solute distribution,and the time and history dependent character of interface morphology evolution also plays an important role in the formation of the oscillating growth pattern.WANG JianYuan CHEN ChangLe WANG KangNing JIN KeXin 2009Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2009,52,5:1
17Screening proteins that interact with mutant superoxide dismutase 1 from familial amyotrophic lateral sclerosis using a yeast two-hybrid system显示文摘The present study screened a human fetal brain cDNA library to find the proteins that interact with mutant superoxide dismutase 1 (SOD1) using a yeast two-hybrid system. Using BLAST software, 15 real proteins which interacted with mutant SOD1 were obtained, including 8 known proteins (protein tyrosine-phosphatase non-receptor type 2, TBC1D4, protein kinase family, splicing factor, arginine/serine-rich 2, SRC protein tyrosine kinase Fyn, β-sarcoglycan; glycine receptor α2, micro-tubule associated protein/microtubule affinity-regulating kinase 1, ferritin H chain), and 7 unknown proteins.
