2Cationic content effects of biodegradable amphoteric chitosan-based flocculants on the flocculation properties显示文摘A series of biodegradable amphoteric chitosan-based flocculants(3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride(CTA) modified carboxymethyl chitosan,denoted as CMC-CTA) with different substitution degrees of CTA were prepared successfully.The content of carboxymethyl groups in each CMC-CTA sample was kept almost constant.The solubility of the various flocculants showed that,higher cationic content of flocculants caused a better solubility.The flocculation experiments using kaolin suspension as synthetic water at the laboratory scale indicated that the substitution degree of CTA was one of the key factors for the flocculation properties.With the increase of cationic content,the flocculants were demonstrated better flocculation performance and lower dosage requirement.Flocculation kinetics model of particles collisions combining zeta potential and turbidity measurements was employed to investigate the effects of the cationic content of the flocculants on the flocculation properties from the viewpoint of flocculation mechanism in detail.Furthermore,flocculation performance using raw water from Zhenjiang part of Yangtze River at the pilot scale showed the similar effects to those at the laboratory scale.Zhen Yang Yabo Shang Xin Huang Yichun Chen Yaobo Lu Aimin Chen Yuxiang Jiang Wei Gu Xiaozhi Qian Hu Yang Rongshi Cheng 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,8:8
3Generative adversarial networks (GAN) based efficient sampling of chemical composition space for inverse design of inorganic materials显示文摘A major challenge in materials design is how to efficiently search the vast chemical design space to find the materials with desired properties.One effective strategy is to develop sampling algorithms that can exploit both explicit chemical knowledge and implicit composition rules embodied in the large materials database.Here,we propose a generative machine learning model(MatGAN)based on a generative adversarial network(GAN)for efficient generation of new hypothetical inorganic materials.Trained with materials from the ICSD database,our GAN model can generate hypothetical materials not existing in the training dataset,reaching a novelty of 92.53% when generating 2 million samples.The percentage of chemically valid(charge-neutral and electronegativitybalanced)samples out of all generated ones reaches 84.5% when generated by our GAN trained with such samples screened from ICSD,even though no such chemical rules are explicitly enforced in our GAN model,indicating its capability to learn implicit chemical composition rules to form compounds.Our algorithm is expected to be used to greatly expand the range of the design space for inverse design and large-scale computational screening of inorganic materials.Yabo Dan Yong Zhao Xiang Li Shaobo Li Ming Hu Jianjun Hu 2020npj Computational Materials2020,,1:5
4The “1-3-7” Approach to Malaria Surveillance and Response--Henan Province, China, 2012−2018显示文摘What is already known about this topic?The“1-3-7”approach to malaria surveillance and response was a key measure for malaria elimination in China and was first introduced into the World Health Organization(WHO)as an international guideline for malaria surveillance and response in 2018.What is added by this report?The“1-3-7”approach was well implemented in Henan Province from 2012−2018.Over this study period,a total of 1,294 malaria cases were detected and reported,and all cases were diagnosed and reported within 1 day with 99.23%(1,284/1,294)of cases were investigated within 3 days.In addition,93.7%(1,212/1,294)of foci were investigated and vector control was implemented within 7 days at all residual non-active foci to prevent further spread.What are the implications for public health practice?The“1-3-7”controlling pattern would be an effective and approachable method for implementation especially in malaria-eliminating countries and regions,but the interval from symptom onset to diagnosis cannot be ignored.Thus,the roles and responsibilities that all actors involved in the health sector must be specified too.Qunqun Zhang Ying Liu Yabo Hu Yuling Zhao Chengyun Yang Dan Qian Ruimin Zhou Suhua Li Zhou Guan Deling Lu Hongwei Zhang Wanshen Guo 2020China CDC weekly2020,2,17:3

6Jupiter system exploration trajectory design: Summary of the winning solution at CTOC10显示文摘This paper presents the methods and results submitted by the winning team from Harbin Institute of Technology of the 10th China Trajectory Optimization Competition(CTOC10).The problem posed by CTOC10 requires exploring the Jupiter system using a combined spacecraft.The exploration mission consists of the detection of Jupiter’s magnetic field and an exploration of the Galilean moons.The mission is completed through three steps:problem analysis,orbital design process,and data processing.The orbital design process is mainly divided into four parts,namely,repeating groundtrack orbit design,gravity-assisted orbit design,initial orbit parameter selection,and local optimization adjustment.The designed orbit is then evaluated using a heuristic optimization algorithm applied during the data processing.Finally,six full-coverage observations of Jupiter’s magnetic field are realized under the constraints of fuel and time.The final index of the submitted result is 357.8067.Haiyang Zhang Yabo Hu Zichen Fan Jie Lv Huidong Ma Ze Yu Mingying Huo Gang Zhang 2021Astrodynamics2021,5,1:1

8Study on Extraction and Antioxidant Activity of Flavonoids from Dendranthema indicum显示文摘[Objectives] To determine the optimal extraction technology of flavonoids in Dendranthema indicum,and analyze the antioxidant activity of total flavonoids in D. indicum. [Methods]D. indicum was used as raw material to extract the total flavonoids by water extraction,alcohol extraction,freeze-thaw,microwave assisted extraction and ultrasonic extraction. [Results]Microwave assisted extraction had the highest extraction rate. Therefore,the microwave assisted extraction was selected as the main method,the ethanol aqueous solution was used as the solvent,and the single factor experiment was carried out with microwave power,ethanol volume fraction,solid-to-liquid ratio and microwave time as the variables. The optimal extraction process of flavonoids was microwave power 400 W,solid-to-liquid ratio 1 ∶ 30,extraction time60 s,ethanol volume fraction 70%,under this condition,the extraction yield was 10. 65 mg/g. The antioxidant activity of flavonoids in D. indicum was determined. The results showed that the highest scavenging rate of DPPH·free radicals was 47. 89%,and the highest scavenging rate of hydroxyl radicals was 98. 00%. [Conclusions]The flavonoids in D. indicum have excellent antioxidant activity. 10The Coupling Relationships and Influence Mechanisms of Green Credit and Energy-Environment-Economy Under China’s Goal of Carbon Neutrality显示文摘Under the goal of carbon neutrality,it is critical for China to give full play to the role of green credit,and promote the coordinated development of energy-environment-economy(3E)system.Based on the data of China from 2000 to 2020,the authors build the environmental pollution index,energy transformation index and high-quality economic development index.By using Bayesian network model(BN),the authors investigate the coupling relationships and influence mechanisms of green credit and 3E system.The results show that the main cause of environmental pollution is the annual increase of carbon dioxide emissions.Green credit can reduce carbon emissions to a certain extent,and alleviate environmental pollution through energy structure,technological progress and per capita GDP.Clean energy utilization and per capita GDP growth also help to control environmental pollution.Green credit can stimulate technological progress and accelerate energy transformation together with technological progress.Clean energy utilization can facilitate the upgrading of industrial structure,industrial structure upgrading and green credit can restrict the level of opening up.Technological progress promotes per capita GDP growth.Per capita GDP growth can reduce energy intensity and improve urbanization and per capita energy consumption.CHAI Jian WANG Yabo HU Yi ZHANG Xuejun ZHANG Xiaokong 2023Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2023,36,1:0
