3SnO_2 hollow spheres:Polymer bead-templated hydrothermal synthesis and their electrochemical properties for lithium storage显示文摘SnO2 hollow spheres have been synthesized via a facile hydrothermal method using sulfonated polystyrene beads as a template followed by a calcination process in air.X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,and transmission electron microscopy show that the as-obtained SnO2 hollow spheres have a wall thickness of about 50 nm,and consist of nanosized SnO2 particles with a mean diameter of about 15 nm.Electrochemical measurements indicate that the SnO2 hollow spheres exhibit improved electrochemical performance in terms of specific capacity and rate capability in comparison with commercial SnO2 when used as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries.The enhanced performance may be attributed to the spherical and hollow structure,as well as the building blocks of SnO2 nanoparticles.YIN YaXia XIN Sen WAN LiJun LI CongJu GUO YuGuo 2012Science China Chemistry2012,55,7:6

5Effect of cations in ionic liquids on the electrochemical performance of lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S) battery is a promising choice for the next generation of high-energy rechargeable batteries, but its application is impeded by the high dissolution of the polysulfides in commonly used organic electrolyte. Room temperature ionic liquids(RTILs) have been considered as appealing candidates for the electrolytes in Li-S batteries. We investigated the effect of cations in RTILs on the electrochemical performance for Li-S batteries. Ex situ investigation of lithium anode for Li-S batteries indicates that during the discharge/charge process the RTIL with N-methyl-N-propylpyrrolidine cations(P13) can effectively suppress the dissolution of the polysulfides, whereas the RTIL with 1-methyl-3-propyl imidazolium cation(PMIM) barely alleviates the shuttling problem. 6Core-shell meso/microporous carbon host for sulfur loading toward applications in lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li-S) batteries belong to one of the promising technologies for high-energy-density rechargeable batteries.However,sulfur cathodes suffer from inherent problems of its poor electronic conductivity and the shuttling of highly dissoluble lithium polysulfides generated during the cycles.Loading sulfur into porous carbons has been proved to be an effective approach to alleviate these issues.Mesoporous and microporous carbons have been widely used for sulfur accommodation,but mesoporous carbons have poor sulfur confinement,whereas microporous carbons are impeded by low sulfur loading rates.Here,a core-shell carbon,combining both the merits of mesoporous carbon with large pore volume and microporous carbon with effective sulfur confinement,was prepared by coating the mesoporous CMK-3 with a microporous carbon(MPC) shell and served as the carbon host(CMK-3 @MPC) to accommodate sulfur.After sulfur infusion,the as-obtained S/(CMK-3@MPC) cathode delivered a high initial capacity of up to 1422 mAh·g^(-1) and sustained 654 mAh·g^(-1) reversible specific capacity after 36 cycles at 0.1 C.The good performance is ascribed to the unique core-shell structure of the CMK-3@MPC matrix,in which sulfur can be effectively confined within the meso/microporous carbon host,thus achieving simultaneously high electrochemical utilization.Juan Zhang Huan Ye Yaxia Yin Yuguo Guo 2014Journal of Energy Chemistry2014,23,3:3
7Chemotherapy initiation with single-course methotrexate alone or combined with dactinomycin versus multi-course methotrexate for low-risk gestational trophoblastic neoplasia: a multi-centric randomized clinical trial显示文摘We aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of single-course initial regimens in patients with low-risk gestational trophoblastic neoplasia(GTN).In this trial (NCT01823315),276 patients were analyzed.Patients were allocated to three initiated regimens:single-course methotrexate(MTX),single-course MTX+dactinomycin(ACTD),and multi-course MTX(control arm).The primary endpoint was the complete remission(CR)rate by initial drug(s).The primary CR rate was 64.4%with multi-course MTX in the control arm.For the single-course MTX arm,the CR rate was 35.8%by one course;it increased to 59.3%after subsequent multi-course MTX,with non-inferiority to the control(difference-5.1%,95%confidence interval(CI)-19.4%to 9.2%,P=0.014).After further treatment with multi-course ACTD,the CR rate(93.3%)was similar to that of the control(95.2%,P=0.577).For the single-course MTX+ACTD arm,the CR rate was 46.7%by one course,which increased to 89.1%after subsequent multi-course,with non-inferiority(difference 24.7%,95%CI 12.8%-36.6%,P<0.001)to the control.It was similar to the CR rate by MTX and further ACTD in the control arm(89.1%vs.95.2%,P=0.135).Four patients experienced recurrence,with no death,during the 2-year follow-up.We demonstrated that chemotherapy initiation with single-course MTX may be an alternative regimen for patients with low-risk GTN.Lili Chen Ling Xi Jie Jiang Rutie Yin Pengpeng Qu Xiuqin Li Xiaoyun Wan Yaxia Chen Dongxiao Hu Yuyan Mao Zimin Pan Xiaodong Cheng Xinyu Wang Qingli Li Danhui Weng Xi Zhang Hong Zhang Quanhong Ping Xiaomei Liu Xing Xie Beihua Kong Ding Ma Weiguo Lu 2022Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,2:2

17The concave-wall jet characteristics in vertical cylinder separator with inlet baffle component显示文摘The concave-wall jet was formed in the vertical cylinder separator with inlet baffle component.The effect of curvature of radial baffle on the jet flow in the separator was investigated by the experiment of concentration and the numerical simulation of species transport.The results show that the concave-wall jet was confined within the narrow region near the concave-wall and the flow disturbance in the center of separator was weakened.The distribution of concentration and the flow region of wall jet depended on the curvature of radial baffle(K).Compared with the turbulent intensity of the plate baffle(K=0),that of concave baffle(K=2)reduced by 6.1%and the turbulent intensity of convex baffle(K=-2)increased by 13.5%.The best flow stability was obtained by the concave baffle because the baffle outlet was similar to convergent nozzle.The outlet convergent angle was between 0°and 19.5°when 0≤K≤2.The secondary vortices were caused by the tangential velocity irregularity on the cross-section of two axial baffles in the separator with convex baffle.The baffle with K≥0 was more suitable in separator inlet than that with K<0.Jing Zhang Zhongyi Ge Wei Wang Bin Gong Yaxia Li Jianhua Wu 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,2:1

19Enhanced piezoelectric properties in low-temperature sintering PZN-PZT ceramics by adjusting Zr/Ti ratio显示文摘Pb_(0.96)Sr_(0.04)(Zr,Ti)_(0.7)(Zn_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))_(0.3)O_(3)(PZN-PZT)piezoceramics with various Zr/Ti ratios and Li_(2)CO_(3)sintering aid were sintered at 900°C by the solid-state reaction route.The samples with different Zr/Ti ratios were compared according to microstructure,phase structure,piezoelectricity,ferroelectricity,and dielectric relaxation.The Zr/Ti ratio in the PZN-PZT ceramics greatly affects the electrical properties.The Zr/Ti ratio affects the proportion between the rhombohedral and tetragonal phases and also affects the grain size.The PZN-PZT ceramics with the Zr/Ti ratio of 53:47 have the largest grain size and have optimized piezoelectric prop-erties(k_(p)=0.58,d_(33)=540 pC/N,and T_(C)=250°C).The larger the grain size,the lesser the grain boundary,the easier the domain wall motion,and the better the piezoelectric properties.The PZT ceramic with Zr/Ti ratio of 53:47 locates the morphotropic phase boundary(MPB)region which is one of the key factors for the high piezoelectric properties of the PZT.Yaxia Luo Tao Pu Shibo Fan Hong Liu Jianguo Zhu 2022Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2022,12,2:0
20Quantification of Aromatic Amino Acids in Cordyceps fungi by Micellar Electrokinetic Capillary Chromatography显示文摘A facile micellar electrokinetic chromatography(MEKC) method was developed for quantification of aromatic amino acids in Cordyceps fungi. The proposed MEKC method had linear calibration curves and detection limits at the μmol/L level. Contents of aromatic amino acids in Cordyceps were found in the range from 0.004 9 % to 0.028 0% for tryptophan(Trp), 0.036 6% to 0.078 1% for tyrosine(Tyr), and 0.029 1% to 0.136 2% for phenylalanine(Phe). Levels of amino acids in cultivated Cordyceps militaris were found higher than those in natural Cordyceps sinensis. Interestingly, the ratio of Tyr to its precursor, Phe, in C. sinensis(1.20 ± 0.091, n=3) was significantly higher than that in cultivated C. militaris(0.54 ± 0.170, n=3).
