2From intrinsic dielectric loss to geometry patterns: Dual-principles strategy for ultrabroad band microwave absorption显示文摘As electromagnetic absorbers with wide absorption bandwidth are highly pursued in the cutting-edge electronic and telecommunication industries, the traditional dielectric or magnetic bulky absorbers remain concerns of extending the effective absorption bandwidth. In this work, a dual-principle strategy has been proposed to make a better understanding of the impact of utilizing conductive absorption fillers coupled with implementing artificial structures design on the absorption performance. In the comparison based on the microscopic studies, the carbon nanotubes (CNTs)-based absorbers are confined to narrow operating bandwidth and relatively fixed response frequency range, which can not fulfill the ever-growing demands in the application. With subsequent macroscopic structure design based on the CNTs-based dielectric fillers, the artificial patterns show much more broadened absorption bandwidth, covering the majority of C-band, the whole X-band, and Ku-band, due to the tailored electromagnetic parameters and more reflections and scatterings. 3Combustion characteristics of semicokes derived from pyrolysis of low rank bituminous coal显示文摘Various semicokes were obtained from medium-low temperature pyrolysis of Dongrong long flame coal.The proximate analysis,calorific value and Hardgrove grindability index(HGI) of semicokes were determined,and the ignition temperature,burnout temperature,ignition index,burnout index,burnout ratio,combustion characteristic index of semicokes were measured and analyzed using thermogravimetry analysis(TGA).The effects of pyrolysis temperature,heating rate,and pyrolysis time on yield,composition and calorific value of long flame coal derived semicokes were investigated,especially the influence of pyrolysis temperature on combustion characteristics and grindability of the semicokes was studied combined with X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis of semicokes.The results show that the volatile content,ash content and calorific value of semicokes pyrolyzed at all process parameters studied meet the technical specifications of the pulverized coal-fired furnaces(PCFF) referring to China Standards GB/T 7562-1998.The pyrolysis temperature is the most influential factor among pyrolysis process parameters.As pyrolysis temperature increases,the yield,ignition index,combustion reactivity and burnout index of semicokes show a decreasing tend,but the ash content increases.In the range of 400 and 450 °C,the grindability of semicokes is rational,especially the grindability of semicokes pyrolyzed at 450 °C is suitable.Except for the decrease of volatile content and increase of ash content,the decrease of combustion performance of semicokes pyrolyzed at higher temperature should be attributed to the improvement of the degree of structural ordering and the increase of aromaticity and average crystallite size of char.It is concluded that the semicokes pyrolyzed at the temperature of 450 °C is the proper fuel for PCFF.Qian wei Xie Qiang Huang Yuyi Dang Jiatao Sun Kaidi Yang Qian Wang Jincao 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,5:10

5A modified rheological model of natural debris flows显示文摘The two coefficients of the linear dimensionless viscous-dispersive mixture model have been modified according to their rheological properties of different types of viscous debris flows based on the observation and experimental data of debris flows and their slurries in the field, and then a rheological model of hyperconcentrated debris flows has been derived. 7A novel inhibitor of N^(6)-methyladenosine demethylase FTO induces m RNA methylation and shows anti-cancer activities显示文摘N^(6)-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)modification is critical for m RNA splicing,nuclear export,stability and translation.Fat mass and obesity-associated protein(FTO),the first identified m^(6)A demethylase,is critical for cancer progression.Herein,we developed small-molecule inhibitors of FTO by virtual screening,structural optimization,and bioassay.As a result,two FTO inhibitors namely 18077 and 18097 were identified,which can selectively inhibit demethylase activity of FTO.Specifically,18097 bound to the active site of FTO and then inhibited cell cycle process and migration of cancer cells.In addition,18097 reprogrammed the epi-transcriptome of breast cancer cells,particularly for genes related to P53 pathway.18097 increased the abundance of m^(6)A modification of suppressor of cytokine signaling1(SOCS1)m RNA,which recruited IGF2 BP1 to increase m RNA stability of SOCS1 and subsequently activated the P53 signaling pathway.Further,18097 suppressed cellular lipogenesis via downregulation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma(PPARγ),CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein alpha(C/EBPa),and C/EBPβ.Animal studies confirmed that 18097 can significantly suppress in vivo growth and lung colonization of breast cancer cells.Collectively,we identified that FTO can work as a potential drug target and the small-molecule inhibitor 18097 can serve as a potential agent against breast cancer.Guoyou Xie Xu-Nian Wu Yuyi Ling Yalan Rui Deyan Wu Jiawang Zhou Jiexin Li Shuibin Lin Qin Peng Zigang Li Hongsheng Wang Hai-Bin Luo 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,2:4
8Experimental Study on the Viscoelastic Behaviors of Debris Flow Slurry显示文摘The rheological properties of most liquid in nature are between liquids and solids,including both elastic changes and viscosity changes,that is socalled 'viscoelastic'.Dynamic oscillatory test was used to quantitatively study the distinct viscoelastic behaviors of debris flow slurry in the shear stress conditions for the first time in this study.The debris flow slurry samples were from Jiangjiagou Ravine,Yunnan Province,China.The experimental results were found that at the low and middle stages of shearing,when the angular velocity ω<72.46 s-1,the loss modulus(G') was greater than the storage modulus(G'),i.e.G'>G'.At the late stage of shearing,when the angular velocity ω≧72.46 s-1,the storage modulus was greater than or equal to the loss modulus,i.e.G'≧G',tanδ≦1(where phase-shift angleδ=G'/G'),and the debris flow slurry was in a gel state.Therefore,the progress of this experimental study further reveals the mechanism of hyperconcentrated debris flows with a high velocity on low-gradient ravines.WANG Yuyi TAN Rongzhi HU Kaiheng CHEN Feiyue YANG Hongjuan ZHANGJinshan LV Juan 2012Journal of Mountain Science2012,9,4:3
9The combined therapeutic effects of ^(131)iodinelabeled multifunctional copper sulfide-loaded microspheres in treating breast cancer显示文摘Compared to conventional cancer treatment, combination therapy based on well-designed nanoscale platforms may offer an opportunity to eliminate tumors and reduce recurrence and metastasis.In this study, we prepared multifunctional microspheres loading ^(131)I-labeled hollow copper sulfide nanoparticles and paclitaxel( ^(131)I-HCu SNPs-MS-PTX) for imaging and therapeutics of W256/B breast tumors in rats.18 F-fluordeoxyglucose(18 F-FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography(PET/CT) imaging detected that the expansion of the tumor volume was delayed(Po0.05) following intra-tumoral(i.t.) injection with ^(131)I-HCu SNPs-MS-PTX plus near-infrared(NIR) irradiation. The immunohistochemical analysis further confirmed the anti-tumor effect. The single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT)/photoacoustic imaging mediated by ^(131)I-HCu SNPs-MS-PTX demonstrated that microspheres were mainly distributed in the tumors with a relatively low distribution in other organs. Our results revealed that ^(131)I-HCu SNPs-MS-PTX offered combined photothermal, chemo-and radio-therapies, eliminating tumors at a relatively low dose, as well as allowing SPECT/CT and photoacoustic imaging monitoring of distribution of the injected agents non-invasively. 13Influence of spacer insulator material temperature characteristics on its electric properties显示文摘Spacer insulators are important insulating component of gas insulated switchgear(GIS). In order to analyze the influence of spacer insulator materials temperature characteristics on the electric performance, we tested the temperature distribution under work condition and the temperature characteristics of the material's relative permittivity. Then established a spacer insulator simulation model in finite element numerical simulation software to calculate its temperature and electric field. Using the temperature test results as a reference to verify the temperature calculation, and in order to analyze changes of the electric field along the surface of the spacer insulator, the temperature characteristics of relative permittivity have to be considered. Through the experimental research and simulation analysis, we found that the temperature characteristics of the spacer insulator materials have great impacts on the spacer insulator performance. When the temperature increases, the material relative permittivity also increases. In the low-temperature region of spacer insulator, the electric field intensity along the surface increases, so the electrical performance deteriorates. 15Analysis of the typhoon wave distribution simulated in WAVEWATCH-Ⅲ model in the context of Kuroshio and wind-induced current显示文摘To investigate the relationship between surface currents and wave distributions in typhoons,we took the Typhoon Talim in 2017 as a case,and found that the track of the typhoon winds up to 50 m/s was almost consistent with the Kuroshio track,particularly from September 13 to 16,2017.The surface current data,derived from the NCEP Climate Forecast System Version 2(CFSv2)from the National Center of Atmospheric Research(NCAR),revealed that the speed of the wind-induced current exceeded that of the Kuroshio in the region with the maximum wind speed.In this study,was utilized a third-generation numeric wave model,WAVEWATCH-Ⅲ(the latest version 5.16),developed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration(NOAA),to simulate the wave fields of Typhoon Talim using the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts(ECMWF)reanalysis wind data in 0.125°×0.125°grid as the forcing field.We found that the root-mean-square error(RMSE)of the significant wave height(SWH)was 0.34 m when validated against measurements from altimeter Jason-2.In addition,we discovered that the SWH had a similar tendency to the change in the surface current speed that was approximately 0.5 m/s at the beginning of Typhoon Talim.However,the relationship became weak as the surface current speed was below 0.2 m/s.Our findings show that the distribution of typhoon waves is resulted from the interaction of surface current and the wind-sea portion of the wave system,since the distribution pattern of wind-sea is consistent with the surface current,and there is a weak relationship between surface current and swell.HU Yuyi SHAO Weizeng SHI Jian SUN Jian JI Qiyan CAI Lina 2020Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,6:2

18RHEOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF VISCOUS DEBRIS FLOWS IN THE JIANGJIA RAVINE, YUNNAN, CHINA显示文摘The theological properties of natural debris flow are studied using experimental data obtained from a rheometer built by the authors. The present study is aimed to address the rheological properties of viscous debris flow at low shear rate. It is found that overstress effect and shear-rate-thinning phenomenon characterize the viscous debris flow in the Jiangjia Ravine, China.
