1Reduced Graphene Oxide/Carbon Nanofiber Based Composite Fabrics with Spider Web‑like Structure for Microwave Absorbing Applications显示文摘Composite fabrics with excellent microwave absorbing performance are highly desired.Herein,reduced graphene oxide/carbon nanofiber(rGO/CNF)based composite fabrics with spider web-like structure were successfully synthesized by electrostatic spinning technique.The spider web-like structure in the composite fabrics provides a connected network for efficient conductive loss of microwave energies.Magnetic loss benefits from the deposited nickel nanoparticles(Ni NPs)anchored in the carbon nanofibers.Meanwhile,the deposited thin polypyrrole(PPy)layers on the conductive network acts as a protective layer for Ni NPs as well as provides abundant interfaces for dissipating electromagnetic energies,which endow the composite fabrics stable microwave absorbing performance.Due to the synergistic effect of microwave absorb-ing mechanism,the maximum reflection loss(RL_(max))of the composite fabric at 6.72 GHz is-46.15 dB,and the effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)is as wide as 8.63 GHz(from 9.37 to 18 GHz).What's more,favorable mechanical and heat insulation properties of the composite fabrics reveal its multifunctional advantages.This rGO/CNF based composite fabric demonstrates a new direction for multifunctional and flexible microwave absorbing materials(MAMs).Xihua Wang Jing Qin Jin Cui Li Huang Ye Yuan Yibin Li 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,5:4

3Regulating Charge and Exciton Distribution in High-Performance Hybrid White Organic Light-Emitting Diodes with n-Type Interlayer Switch显示文摘The interlayer(IL) plays a vital role in hybrid white organic light-emitting diodes(WOLEDs); however,only a negligible amount of attention has been given to n-type ILs. Herein, the n-type IL, for the first time,has been demonstrated to achieve a high efficiency, high color rendering index(CRI), and low voltage trade-off.The device exhibits a maximum total efficiency of 41.5 lm W^(-1), the highest among hybrid WOLEDs with n-type ILs. In addition, high CRIs(80–88) at practical luminances(C1000 cd m^(-2)) have been obtained, satisfying the demand for indoor lighting. Remarkably, a CRI of 88 is the highest among hybrid WOLEDs. Moreover, the device exhibits low voltages, with a turn-on voltage of only 2.5 V([1 cd m^(-2)), which is the lowest among hybrid WOLEDs. The intrinsic working mechanism of the device has also been explored; in particular, the role of n-type ILs in regulating the distribution of charges and excitons has been unveiled. 4Detection of immunoglobulin E using an aptamer based dot-blot assay显示文摘A novel aptamer based dot-blot assay for the detection of immunoglobulin E (IgE) was developed. A biotinylated aptamer was employed as the bio-recognition element to specifically interact with the target protein immobilized onto a nitrocellulose membrane substrate. Avidin conjugated horseradish peroxidase was introduced onto the membrane through the biotin-avidin system to catalyze the hydrogen peroxide mediated oxidation of 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine, thereby producing the blue-colored insoluble product. The intensity of the dots increased as the concentration of IgE increased. The spot intensity was quantified using a simple portable instrument. A linear response relationship between the spot intensity and the concentration of IgE over the range of 50 nmol/L to 1 μmol/L was obtained. The detection limit for IgE using the aptamer-based assay was 2.89 nmol/L. 6Experimental Study on Soot Suppression of Acetylene Diffusion Flame by Acoustic-Excited Oscillation in Rijke-Type Burner显示文摘This work reports that the flame oscillation induced by acoustic excitation can effectively suppress soot generation in Rijke-type burners.When the acoustic frequency is close to the natural frequency of the burner system,it can produce resonance resulting in intense oscillation of the flame.The relationship between the soot suppression efficiency and the acoustic field of standing wave at different flame positions is discussed.Compared with that under self-excited oscillation,when there is external forced acoustic force introduced to the flame,oscillation combustion occurred in a lager zone in the glass tube.The fundamental cause of different soot suppression efficiency at different positions is that the standing wave acoustic field causes the particles to move at different speeds in different positions of the glass tube.The axial particle velocity difference results in the formation of acoustic vortexes and the change of the flame shape.The high particle velocity causes the air in the glass tube to turn into the turbulent condition and make the flame temperature rise.Simulation results show that the surface growth rate of soot is reduced,while the oxidation rate of soot is enhanced,which result in the soot suppression under acoustic oscillation.This study can provide some reference for the practical application of oscillate combustion in soot suppression.ZHU Yibin GUO Hui SUO Yan'ge WU Minle YE Yanghui LI Guoneng ZHANG Zhiguo 2024Journal of Thermal Science2024,33,1:0
7Biomass,nutrient uptake and fatty acid composition of Chlamydomonas sp.ICE-L in response to different nitrogen sources显示文摘Nitrogen removal from media by microalgae provides the potential benefit of producing lipids for biodiesel and biomass. However, research is limited on algal growth and biomass under different nitrogen sources and provides little insight in terms of biofuel production. We studied the influences of nitrogen sources on cell growth and lipid accumulation of Chlamydomonas sp. ICE-L, one of a promising oil rich micro algal species. Chlamydomonas sp.ICE-L grown in NH_4 Cl medium had maximum growth rate. While the highest dry biomass of 0.28 g/L was obtained in media containing NH_4NO_3, the highest lipid content of 0.21 g/g was achieved under nitrogendeficiency condition with a dry biomass of 0.24 g/L. 8Composition,function,and timing:exploring the early‑life gut microbiota in piglets for probiotic interventions显示文摘Background The establishment of a robust gut microbiota in piglets during their early developmental stage holds the potential for long-term advantageous effects.However,the optimal timeframe for introducing probiotics to achieve this outcome remains uncertain.Results In the context of this investigation,we conducted a longitudinal assessment of the fecal microbiota of 63 piglets at three distinct pre-weaning time points.Simultaneously,we gathered vaginal and fecal samples from 23 sows.Employing 16S rRNA gene and metagenomic sequencing methodologies,we conducted a comprehensive analysis of the fluctuation patterns in microbial composition,functional capacity,interaction networks,and colonization resistance within the gut microbiota of piglets.As the piglets progressed in age,discernible modifications in intestinal microbial diversity,composition,and function were observed.A source-tracking analysis unveiled the pivotal role of fecal and vaginal microbiota derived from sows in populating the gut microbiota of neonatal piglets.By D21,the microbial interaction network displayed a more concise and efficient configuration,accompanied by enhanced colonization resistance relative to the other two time points.Moreover,we identified three strains of Ruminococcus sp.at D10 as potential candidates for improving piglets’weight gain during the weaning phase.Conclusions The findings of this study propose that D10 represents the most opportune juncture for the introduction of external probiotic interventions during the early stages of piglet development.This investigation augments our comprehension of the microbiota dynamics in early-life of piglets and offers valuable insights for guiding forthcoming probiotic interventions.Jianping Quan Cineng Xu Donglin Ruan Yong Ye Yibin Qiu Jie Wu Shenping Zhou Menghao Luan Xiang Zhao Yue Chen Danyang Lin Ying Sun Jifei Yang Enqin Zheng Gengyuan Cai Zhenfang Wu Jie Yang 2024Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2024,15,2:0
