| 2 | Microstructure and strengthening mechanism of hot-extruded ultralight Mg-Li-Al-Sn alloys with high strength显示文摘Duplex-structured Mg-7Li-2Al-1.5Sn alloys with high strength were fabricated and their strengthening mechanism was investigated.The Mg-7Li-2Al-1.5Sn alloys were prepared by casting and extruded at the temperature of 533 K with an extrusion ratio of 25:1.The microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-7Li-2Al-1.5Sn alloys were systematically investigated by OM,XRD,SEM,TEM,and tensile tests.The results show that Mg-7Li-2Al-1.5Sn alloys are mainly composed ofα-Mg,β-Li,LiMgAl_(2),Mg_(2)Sn and Li_(2)MgSn phases.The yield strength(YS),ultimate tensile strength(UTS)and elongation(EL)of the extruded alloy at room temperature reach 250 MPa,324 MPa and 11.9%,respectively.A lot of Sn-rich precipitates(Mg_(2)Sn and Li_(2)MgSn)are precipitated during extrusion with an average size of∼14 nm,which is beneficial to the grain refinement.Dynamic recrystallization occurs during hot deformation and the nanoprecipitates effectively refine the dynamic recrystallized(DRXed)grains.Besides,the residual dislocations existed in DRXed and un-DRXed grains result in the dislocation strengthening in the extruded alloy.Mg7Li-2Al-1.5Sn alloys possess excellent high-temperature mechanical properties with the YS,UTS and EL of 200 MPa,237 MPa and 26.7%at 423 K,respectively.Sn-rich precipitates with good thermal stability can effectively prevent grain growth,which is good for the improvement of the high-temperature performance of Mg-Li-Al-Sn alloy. | Gang Zhou Yan Yang Hanzhu Zhang Faping Hu Xueping Zhang Chen Wen Weidong Xie Bin Jiang Xiaodong Peng Fusheng Pan | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,8: | 7 |
| 3 | Nucieocytoplasmic Shuttling of Geminivirus C4 Protein Mediated by Phosphorylation and Myristoylation Is Critical for Viral Pathogenicity显示文摘Many geminivirus C4 proteins induce severe developmental abnormalities in plants.We previously demon- strated that Tomato leaf curl Yunnan virus (TLCYnV)C4 induces plant developmental abnormalities at least partically by decreasing the accumulation of NbSKη,an ortholog of Arabidopsis BIN2 kinase involved in the brassinosteroid signaling pathway,in the nucleus through directing it to the plasma membrane.However, the molecular mechanism by which the membrane-associated C4 modifies the localization of NbSKη in the host cell remains unclear.Here,we show that TLCYnV C4 is a nucleocytoplasmic shuttle protein,and that C4 shuttling is accompanied by nuclear export of NbSKTI.TLCYnV C4 is phosphorylated by NbSKη in the nucleus,which promotes myristoylation of the viral protein.Myristoylation of phosphorylated C4 favors its interaction with exportin-α(XPO I);which in turn facilitates nuclear export of the C4/NbSKTI complex. Supporting this model,chemical inhibition of N-myristoyltransferases or exportin-α enhanced nuclear retention of C4,and mutations of the putative phosphorylation or myristoylation sites in C4 resulted in increased nuclear retention ofrC4 and thus decreased severity of C4-induced developmental abnormalities. | 5 | The symptom difference induced by Tobacco mosaic virus and Tomato mosaic virus in tobacco plants containing the N gene is determined by movement protein gene显示文摘Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) and Tomato mosaic virus (ToMV) are two closely related viruses in the genus Tobamovirus, but they induce obviously different sizes of necrotic lesions in tobacco plants containing the N gene. Comparison of the symptoms produced by TMV, ToMV and a chimaeric virus (T/OMP), in which the TMV movement protein (MP) gene was re- placed by the ToMV MP gene, showed T/OMP caused necrotic lesions that were similar in size to those of ToMV in tobacco plants containing the N gene. The coat protein and MP of the three viruses accumulated in planta with similar levels, and the replication level of TMV and T/OMP in protoplasts also had no difference. Comparison of the activities of defense-related enzymes (PAL, POD and PPO) induced by the three viruses also showed that the variability of enzyme activity induced by T/OMP was similar to that induced by TMV, but different from that induced by ToMV. | 6 | Functional analysis of a novel βV1 gene identified in a geminivirus betasatellite显示文摘Betasatellites(DNAβ)are circular ssDNA molecules that are associated with monopartite geminiviruses and exert a positive effect on the viral infection.Betasatellites encode one protein,namedβC1,on the complementary strand;βC1 functions as a pathogenicity factor and RNA silencing suppressor.In this report,we describe the identification of another betasatellite-encoded protein,βV1,which also contributes to symptom development.TheβV1 open reading frame can be found on the viral strand of approximately 40%of reported betasatellite sequences,and is conserved in position and sequence.The presence of theβV1 transcript was observed in plants infected with Tomato yellow leaf curl China virus(TYLCCNV)along with its associated betasatellite Tomato yellow leaf curl China betasatellite(TYLCCNB).Mutant viruses unable to produceβV1 showed reduced virulence and decreased viral load.Ectopic expression of the TYLCCNB-βV1 gene in Nicotiana benthamiana plants from a PVX-based vector resulted in leaf mosaic and chlorosis.We further demonstrated that theβV1 protein could elicit hypersensitive response(HR)-type cell death in N.benthamiana leaves.Our results uncover a novel betasatellite-encoded protein that contributes to the virus infection,and this discover gives us a more complete view of the plant-geminivirus interaction landscape. | Tao Hu Yu Song Yaqin Wang Xueping Zhou | 2020 | Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,5: | 2 |

| 13 | Chemical characterization and source identification of PM_(2.5) in Luoyang after the clean air actions显示文摘Luoyang is a typical heavy industrial city in China,with a coal-dominated energy structure and serious air pollution.Following the implementation of the clean air actions,the physic-ochemical characteristics and sources of PM_(2.5) have changed.A comprehensive study of PM_(2.5) was conducted from October 16,2019 to January 23,2020 to evaluate the effectiveness of previous control measures and further to provide theory basis for more effective policies in the future.Results showed that the aerosol pollution in Luoyang in autumn and win-ter is still serious with the average concentration of 91.1 μg/m^(3),although a large reduction(46.9%)since 2014.With the contribution of nitrate increased from 12.5%to 25.1%and sul-fate decreased from 16.7%to 11.2%,aerosol pollution has changed from sulfate-dominate to nitrate-dominate.High NO_(3)^(-)/SO_(4)^(2-)ratio and the increasing of NO_(3)^(-)/SO_(4)^(2-)ratio with the aggravation of pollution indicating vehicle exhaust playing an increasingly important role in PM_(2.5) pollution in Luoyang,especially in the haze processes.Secondary inorganic ions contributed significantly to the enhancement of PM_(2.5) during the pollution period.The high value of Cl^(-)/Na^(+)and EC concentration indicate coal combustion in Luoyang is still serious.The top three contributor sources were secondary inorganic aerosols(33.3%),coal combus-tion(13.6%),and industrial emissions(13.4%).Close-range transport from the western and northeastern directions were more important factors in air pollution in Luoyang during the sampling period.It is necessary to strengthen the control of coal combustion and reduce vehicle emissions in future policies. | Min Xu Zirui Liu Bo Hu Guangxuan Yan Jianan Zou Shuman Zhao Jingxiang Zhou Xianhui Liu Xueping Zheng Xiaoyan Zhang Jing Cao Mengshuang Guan Yirong Lv Yanyun Zhang | 2022 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,5: | 1 |
