1Photocatalytic degradation of bisphenol A using an integrated system of a new gas-liquid-solid circulating fluidized bed reactor and micrometer Gd-doped TiO_2 particles显示文摘A new gas-liquid-solid circulating fluidized bed photocatalytic reactor (GLSCFBPR) with internally placed multi-layered UV lamps was developed. Micrometer Gd-TiO2 particles and commercial nanometer P25-TiO2 were chosen as the photocatalysts, and the hazardous substance bisphenol A (BPA) was chosen as the model pollutant to investigate the performance of this new photocatalytic system. The results showed that the photocatalytic degradation efficiency of the micrometer Gd-TiO2 particles was similar to that of the nanometer P-25 particles at their respective optimum dosage but the former could be easily separated out by gravity. After investigating the effects of process parameters on the photocatalytic BPA degradation, the response surface method (RSM) was further used for process optimization. The interactions among process parameters, i.e., TiO2 concentration, superficial gas velocity and superficial liquid velocity were discovered and a related analysis was carried out to explore the underlying mechanism. A quadratic mathematic model was established and performed satisfactorily when used for prediction. 11Photocatalytic synergistic biofilms enhance tetracycline degradation and conversion显示文摘Tetracyclines are refractory pollutants that cause persistent harm to the environment and human health.Therefore,it is urgently necessary to develop methods to promote the efficient degradation and conversion of tetracyclines in wastewater.This report proposes a photobiocatalytic synergistic system involving the coupling of GeO_(2)/Zn-doped phosphotungstic acid hydrate/TiO_(2)(GeO_(2)/Zn-HPW/TiO_(2))-loaded photocatalytic optical hollow fibers(POHFs)and an algalebacterial biofilm.The GeO_(2)/Zn-HPW/TiO_(2) photocatalyst exhibits a broad absorption edge extending to 1000 nm,as well as high-efficiency photoelectric conversion and electron transfer,which allow the GeO_(2)/Zn-HPW/TiO_(2)-coated POHFs to provide high light intensity to promote biofilm growth.The resulting high photocatalytic activity rapidly and stably reduces the toxicity and increases the biodegradability of tetracycline-containing wastewater.The biofilm enriched with Salinarimonas,Coelastrella sp.,and Rhizobium,maintains its activity for the rapid photocatalytic degradation and biotransformation of intermediates to generate the O_(2) required for photocatalysis.Overall,the synergistic photocatalytic biofilm system developed herein provides an effective and efficient approach for the rapid degradation and conversion of water containing high concentrations of tetracycline.Chuanbao Xiao Jilin Yuan Linyang Li Nianbing Zhong Dengjie Zhong Quanhua Xie Haixing Chang Yunlan Xu Xuefeng He Min Li 2023Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2023,,2:0
12Simulation Research on Coal-Water Slurry Gasification of Oil-Based Drill Cuttings Based on Fluent显示文摘In this paper,based on Fluent software,a five-nozzle gasifier reactor was established to simulate the gasification process of oil-based drill cuttings coal-water slurry.The influence of concentration and oxygen/carbon atomic ratio on the gasification process of oil-based drill cuttings coal-water slurry was investigated.The results show that when the oxygen flow is constant,the outlet temperature of gasifier decreases,the content of effective gas increases,and the carbon conversion rate decreases with the increase of concentration;When the ratio of oxygen to carbon atoms is constant,the effective gas content rises and the temperature rises with the increase of the concentration,and the carbon conversion rate reaches the maximum value when the concentration of oil-based drill cuttings coal-water slurry is 65%;When the concentration is constant,the effective gas content decreases and the outlet temperature rises with the increase of the oxygen/carbon atom ratio,and the carbon conversion rate reaches 99.80%when the oxygen/carbon atom ratio is 1.03.It shows that this method can effectively decompose the organic matter in oilbased drill cuttings and realize the efficient and cooperative treatment of oil-based drill cuttings.Liang Hu Hailong Yu Liuyang Huang Yayun Xu XuleiWu Yunlan Sun Baozhong Zhu 2023Energy Engineering2023,120,9:0
13Recent advances in photoelectrochemical sensors for detection of ions in water显示文摘Over the last 50 years,the explosive adoption of modern agricultural practices has led to an enormous increase in the emission of non-biodegradable and highly biotoxic ions into the hydrosphere.Excess intake of such ions,even essential trace elements such as Cu^(2+)and F^(-),can have serious consequences on human health.Therefore,to ensure safe drinking water and regulate wastewater discharge,photoelectrochemical(PEC)online sensors were developed,with advantages such as low energy consumption,inherent miniaturization,simple instrumentation,and fast response.However,there is no publicly available systematic review of the recent advances in PEC ion sensors available in the literature since January 2017.Thus,this review covers the various strategies that have been used to enhance the sensitivity,selectivity,and limit of detection for PEC ion sensors.The photoelectrochemically active materials,conductive substrates,electronic transfer,and performance of various PEC sensors are discussed in detail and divided into sections based on the measurement principle and detected ion species.We conclude this review by highlighting the challenges and potential future avenues of research associated with the development of novel high-performance PEC sensors.Linyang Li Junlian Chen Chuanbao Xiao Yihao Luo Nianbing Zhong Quanhua Xie Haixing Chang Dengjie Zhong Yunlan Xu Mingfu Zhao Qiang Liao 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,6:0
