Current Trends and Perspectives of Detection and Location for Buried Non-Metallic Pipelines显示文摘Buried pipelines are an essential component of the urban infrastructure of modern cities.Traditional buried pipes are mainly made of metal materials. With the development of material science and technology in recent years,non-metallic pipes, such as plastic pipes, ceramic pipes, and concrete pipes, are increasingly taking the place of pipes made from metal in various pipeline networks such as water supply, drainage, heat, industry, oil, and gas.The location technologies for the location of the buried metal pipeline have become mature, but detection and location technologies for the non-metallic pipelines are still developing. In this paper, current trends and future perspectives of detection and location of buried non-metallic pipelines are summarized.Initially, this paper reviews and analyzes electromagnetic induction technologies, electromagnetic wave technologies, and other physics-based technologies. It then focuses on acoustic detection and location technologies, and finally introduces emerging technologies. Then the technical characteristics of each detection and location method have been compared, with their strengths and weaknesses identified. The current trends and future perspectives of each buried non-metallic pipeline detection and location technology have also been defined. Finally, some suggestions for the future development of buried non-metallic pipeline detection and location technologies are provided. | Liang Ge Changpeng Zhang Guiyun Tian Xiaoting Xiao Junaid Ahmed Guohui Wei Ze Hu Ju Xiang Mark Robinson | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021,34,5: | 2
Understanding the phase separation characteristics of nucleocapsid protein provides a new therapeutic opportunity against SARS-CoV-2显示文摘Dear Editor To date, tens of millions of people have been infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),causing the outbreak of the respiratory disease named the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).As a newly emerged member of the coronavirus family,SARS-CoV-2 is an enveloped positive-strand RNA virus, which has probably the largest genome(approximately 30 kb)among all RNA viruses. The nucleocapsid(N)protein of SARS-CoV-2 is mainly responsible for recognizing and wrapping viral RNA into helically symmetric structures(Malik,2020). | Dan Zhao Weifan Xu Xiaofan Zhang Xiaoting Wang Yiyue Ge Enming Yuan Yuanpeng Xiong Shenyang Wu Shuya Li Nian Wu Tingzhong Tian Xiaolong Feng Hantao Shu Peng Lang Jingxin Li Fengcai Zhu Xiaokun Shen Haitao Li Pilong Li Jianyang Zeng | 2021 | Protein & Cell2021,12,9: | 1
Stable and Highly Flexible Perovskite Solar Cells with Power Conversion Efficiency Approaching 20% by Elastic Grain Boundary Encapsulation显示文摘Here,we show that flexible perovskite solar cells(PSCs)with high operational stability and power conversion efficiency(PCE)approaching 20%were achieved by elastic grain boundary(GB)encapsulation. An introduction of trimethyltrivinylcyclotrisiloxane(V3D3)and solvent annealing(SA)resulted in an in situ cross-linking reaction between GBs and enlarged grain size that enabled oriented charge-transport properties to be achieved synchronously, leading to reduced sheet resistance with a high fill factor(FF)up to 82.93%in flexible PSCs. | Chengda Ge Ziqi Yang Xiaoting Liu Yilong Song Anran Wang Qingfeng Dong | 2021 | CCS Chemistry2021,3,7: | 1
Efficacy of electroacupuncture on myocardial protection and postoperative rehabilitation in patients undergoing cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass:a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy of electroacupuncture(EA)intervention on myocardial protection and postoperative rehabilitation in patients undergoing cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB).METHODS:Eight databases, including Pub Med,Embase, the Cochrane Library,Web of Science,Chinese Bio Medical Literature Database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,Wanfang Data,China Science and Technology Journal Database, and two clinical trial registries, were searched. All randomized controlled trials(RCTs)related to EA intervention in cardiac surgery with CPB were collected.Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, two researchers independently screened articles and extracted data. After the quality evaluation,RevMan 5.3 software was used for analysis.RESULTS:Fourteen RCTs involving 836 patients were included.Compared with the control treatment,EA significantly increased the incidence of cardiac automatic rebeat after aortic unclamping[relative risk(RR)=1.15,95%confidence interval(CI)(1.01,1.31),P<0.05;moderate].Twenty-four hours after aortic unclamping,EA significantly increased the superoxide dismutase[standardized mean difference(SMD)=0.96,95%CI(0.32,1.61),P<0.05;low],and interleukin(IL)-2[SMD=1.33,95%CI(0.19,2.47),P<0.05;very low]expression levels and decreased the malondialdehyde[SMD=-1.62,95%CI(-2.15,-1.09),P<0.05;moderate],tumour necrosis factor-α[SMD=-1.28,95%CI(-2.37,-0.19),P<0.05;moderate],and cardiac troponin I[SMD=-1.09,95%CI(-1.85,-0.32),P<0.05;low]expression levels as well as the inotrope scores[SMD=-0.77,95%CI(-1.22,-0.31),P<0.05;high].There was no difference in IL-6 and IL-10 expression levels. The amount of intraoperative sedative[SMD=-0.31,95%CI(-0.54,-0.09),P<0.05;moderate]and opioid analgesic[SMD=-0.96,95%CI(-1.53,-0.38),P<0.05;low]medication was significantly lower in the EA group than in the control group. Moreover, the postoperative tracheal intubation time[SMD=-0.92,95%CI(-1.40,-0.45),P<0.05;low]and intensive care unit stay[SMD=-1.71,95%CI(-3.06,-0.36),P<0.05;low]were significantly shorter in the EA group than in the control group. There were no differences in the time to get out of bed for the first time, total days of antibiotic use after surgery,or postoperative hospital stay.No adverse reactions related to EA were reported in any of the included studies.CONCLUSIONS:In cardiac surgery with CPB,EA may be a safe and effective strategy to reduce myocardial ischaemia-reperfusion injury and speed up the recovery of patients after surgery. These findings must be interpreted with caution,as most of the evidence was of low or moderate quality.More RCTs with larger sample sizes and higher quality are needed to provide more convincing evidence. | QIN Xiaoyu WANG Chunai XUE Jianjun ZHANG Jie LU Xiaoting DING Shengshuang GE Long WANG Minzhen | 2024 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2024,44,1: | 0
SARS-CoV-2 encoded microRNAs are involved in the process of virus infection and host immune response显示文摘The outbreak of COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2 is spreading worldwide, with the pathogenesis mostly unclear. Both virus and host-derived microRNA(miRNA)play essential roles in the pathology of virus infection. This study aims to uncover the mechanism for SARS-CoV-2 pathogenicity from the perspective of miRNA.We scanned the SARS-CoV-2 genome for putative miRNA genes and miRNA targets and conducted in vivo experiments to validate the virus-encoded miRNAs and their regulatory role on the putative targets. One of such virus-encoded miRNAs,MR147-3p,was overexpressed that resulted in significantly decreased transcript levels of all of the predicted targets in human,i.e.,EXOC7,RAD9A,and TFE3 in the virus-infected cells. The analysis showed that the immune response and cytoskeleton organization are two of the most notable biological processes regulated by the infection-modulated miRNAs.Additionally, the genomic mutation of SARS-CoV-2 contributed to the changed miRNA repository and targets, suggesting a possible role of miRNAs in the attenuated phenotype of SARS-CoV-2 during its evolution. This study provided a comprehensive view of the miRNA-involved regulatory system during SARS-CoV-2 infection, indicating possible antiviral therapeutics against SARS-CoV-2 through intervening miRNA regulation. | Zhi Liu Jianwei Wang Yiyue Ge Yuyu Xu Mengchen Guo Kai Mi Rui Xu Yang Pei Qiankun Zhang Xiaoting Luan Zhibin Hu Ying Chi Xingyin Liu | 2021 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2021,35,3: | 0
An integrative drug repositioning framework discovered a potential therapeutic agent targeting COVID-19显示文摘The global spread of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)requires an urgent need to find effective therapeutics for the treatment of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).In this study,we developed an integrative drug repositioning framework, which fully takes advantage of machine learning and statistical analysis approaches to systematically integrate and mine large-scale knowledge graph, literature and transcriptome data to discover the potential drug candidates against SARS-CoV-2.Our in silico screening followed by wet-lab validation indicated that a poly-ADP-ribose polymerase 1(PARP1)inhibitor,CVL218,currently in Phase I clinical trial, may be repurposed to treat COVID-19.Our in vitro assays revealed that CVL218 can exhibit effective inhibitory activity against SARS-CoV-2 replication without obvious cytopathic effect. In addition,we showed that CVL218 can interact with the nucleocapsid(N)protein of SARS-CoV-2 and is able to suppress the LPS-induced production of several inflammatory cytokines that are highly relevant to the prevention of immunopathology induced by SARS-CoV-2 infection. | Yiyue Ge Tingzhong Tian Suling Huang Fangping Wan Jingxin Li Shuya Li Xiaoting Wang Hui Yang Lixiang Hong Nian Wu Enming Yuan Yunan Luo Lili Cheng Chengliang Hu Yipin Lei Hantao Shu Xiaolong Feng Ziyuan Jiang Yunfu Wu Ying Chi Xiling Guo Lunbiao Cui Liang Xiao Zeng Li Chunhao Yang Zehong Miao Ligong Chen Haitao Li Hainian Zeng Dan Zhao Fengcai Zhu Xiaokun Shen Jianyang Zeng | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,5: | 0
Causal Effect of Genetically Determined Blood Copper Concentrations on Multiple Diseases: A Mendelian Randomization and Phenome-Wide Association Study显示文摘Exposures to copper have become a health concern. We aim to explore the broad clinical effects of blood copper concentrations.A total of 376,346 Caucasian subjects were enrolled. We performed a Mendelian randomization and phenome-wide association study(MR-PheWAS)to evaluate the causal association between copper and a wide range of outcomes in UK Biobank, and we constructed a protein-protein interaction network. We found association between blood copper concentrations and five diseases in the overall population and nine diseases in male.MR analysis implicated a causal role of blood copper in five diseases(overall population),including prostate cancer(OR=0.87,95%CI 0.77-0.98),malignant and unknown neoplasms of the brain and nervous system(OR=0.58,95%CI 0.38-0.89),and hypertension(OR=0.94,95%CI 0.90-0.98),essential hypertension(OR=0.94,95%CI 0.90-0.98)and cancer of brain and nervous system(OR=0.63,95%CI 0.41-0.98).For male, except for dysphagia being newly associated with blood copper(OR=1.39,95%CI 1.18-1.63),other MR results were consistent with the overall population. In addition, the PPI network showed possible relationship between blood copper and four outcomes, namely brain cancer, prostate cancer, hypertension, and dysphagia.Blood copper may have causal association with prostate cancer, malignant and unknown neoplasms of the brain and nervous system, hypertension, and dysphagia.Considering that copper is modifiable, exploring whether regulation of copper levels can be used to optimize health outcomes might have public health importance. | Xiuming Feng Wenjun Yang Lulu Huang Hong Cheng Xiaoting Ge Gaohui Zan Yanli Tan Lili Xiao Chaoqun Liu Xing Chen Zengnan Mo Longman Li Xiaobo Yang | 2022 | Phenomics2022,2,4: | 0
