| 1 | Environment-Stable CoxNiy Encapsulation in Stacked Porous Carbon Nanosheets for Enhanced Microwave Absorption显示文摘Magnetic/dielectric@porous carbon composites,derived from metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)with adjustable composition ratio,have attracted wide attention due to their unique magnetoelectric properties.In addition,MOFs-derived porous carbon-based materials can meet the needs of lightweight feature.This paper reports a simple process for synthesizing stacked CoxNiy@C nanosheets derived from CoxNiy-MOFs nanosheets with multiple interfaces,which is good to the microwave response.The CoxNiy@C with controllable composition can be obtained by adjusting the ratio of Co^2+ and Ni^2+.It is supposed that the increased Co content is benefit to the dielectric and magnetic loss.Additionally,the bandwidth of CoNi@C nanosheets can take up almost the whole Ku band.Moreover,this composite has better environmental stability in air,which characteristic provides a sustainable potential for the practical application. | Xiaohui Liang Zengming Man Bin Quan Jing Zheng Weihua Gu Zhu Zhang Guangbin Ji | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,8: | 11 |
| 2 | Sinomenine reduces iNOS expressionvia inhibiting the T-bet IFN-γ pathway in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis in rats显示文摘Sinomenine is a bioactive alkaloid isolated from the Chinese medicinal plant Sinomenium acutum.It is widely used as an immunosuppressive drug for treating rheumatic and arthritic diseases.In our previous studies,we found that sinomenine reduced cellular infiltration within the spinal cord and alleviated experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE) in rats.In this study,we further investigated the mechanisms of sinomenine treatment in EAE rats.In EAE rats,treatment with sinomenine exerted an anti-inducible NO synthase(anti-iNOS) effect,which is related to the reductions of Th1 cytokine interferon-γ(IFN-γ) and its transcription factor,T-bet,in spinal cords.Moreover,sinomenine treatment of splenocytes stimulated with anti-CD3 antibody and recombinant rat interleukin 12 reduced the expression of T-bet and IFN-γ in vitro and also reduced the capability of supernatants of splenocyte culture to induce iNOS expression by primary astrocytes.However,sinomenine had no direct inhibitory effect on iNOS produced by astrocytes cultured with IFN-γ and tumor necrosis factor α in vitro.In conclusion,the anti-iNOS effect of sinomenine on EAE is mediated via the suppression of T-bet /IFN-γ pathway. | Bingjie Gu Yanying Zeng Cheng Yin Huijiuan Wang Xiaofan Yang Song Wang Xiaohui Ji | 2012 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2012,26,6: | 11 |
| 3 | Investigation of College Students' Mental Health Status via Semantic Analysis of Sina Microblog显示文摘The objective of this study is to understand the current mental status of college students in China's Mainland. In this study, 60 thousand college students' microblog content from January 2014 to June 2014 was collected. An emotional energy level, which was developed by a psychologist David R Hawkins, was taken as a basis for ontology database to divide the student's emotion into three parts—positive, negative and neutral status. An ontology-based semantic analysis method was used to analyze the microblog data. The result shows that 46.38% of Sina microblog data reflects positive psychological status, and the ratios of neutral and negative psychological status are 19.77% and 33.85%, respectively. It means that almost one third microblog reflects some negative mentality. All kinds of evaluation methods have been analyzed. In the calculation of index weight, the graded weight calculus is put forward which hardly relies on the subjectivity of decision-makers and can reflect the sensitivity and compatibility of the index. | 7 | Ultrasonic preparation of nano-nickel/activated carbon composite using spent electroless nickel plating bath and application in degradation of 2,6-dichlorophenol显示文摘Ni was effectively recovered from spent electroless nickel(EN) plating baths by forming a nano-nickel coated activated carbon composite. With the aid of ultrasonication, melamine–formaldehyde–tetraoxalyl-ethylenediamine chelating resins were grafted on activated carbon(MFT/AC). Pd Cl2 sol was adsorbed on MFT/AC, which was then immersed in spent electroless nickel plating bath; then nano-nickel could be reduced by ascorbic acid to form a nano-nickel coating on the activated carbon composite(Ni/AC) in situ. The materials present were carefully examined by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and electrochemistry techniques. The resins were well distributed on the inside and outside surfaces of activated carbon with a size of 120 ± 30 nm in MFT/AC, and a great deal of nano-nickel particles were evenly deposited with a size of 3.8 ± 1.1 nm in Ni/MFT. | 8 | Liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry method for simultaneous determination of valproic acid and its ene-metabolites in epilepsy patient plasma显示文摘A simple and high throughput method was developed and validated for simultaneous determination of valproic acid and its two toxicant ene-metabolites, 2-enevalproic acid and 4-enevalproic acid in epilepsy patient plasma using liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry. Probenecid was used as internal standard and solid-phase extraction was selected for sample preparation. A chromatographic separation was performed on an Agilent Poroshell SB-C_(18) column(50 mm*4.6 mm i.d., 2.7 μm) by an optimized gradient elution at a flow rate of 0.9 mL/min. The total run time was 7 min. Electrospray ionization was used in negative ion mode by multiple reaction monitoring of the precursor-to-product ion transitions at m/z 143.0→143.0 for valproic acid, m/z 140.9→140.9 for 2-enevalproic acid and 4-enevalproic acid for their poor fragments, and m/z 283.9→239.9 for probenecid. The results showed good linearity of valproic acid, 2-enevalproic acid and 4-enevalproic acid in their respective linear ranges.The correlation coef fi cients were more than 0.998. The intra- and inter-day precision of the assay was less than 11.0% and the accuracy ranged from 2% to 12%. However, the reported DUV data rates remain significantly lower than comparable demonstrations at visible wavelengths due to lower modulation bandwidths and/or output power of the sources. Here, we present a wavelength division multiplexing demonstration using three UV microlight-emitting diodes emitting at nominal peak wavelengths of 285, 317, and 375 nm, respectively, each with an emitting area of approximately 1369 μm^(2)(equivalent to circular device pixels of diameter;0 μm). | 12 | Spatial Pattern and Influencing Factors of Regional Ecological Civilisation Construction in China显示文摘Ecological civilisation construction is a strategy for regional sustainable development based on a regional system of human-land relations. The comprehensive measurement and regional differentiation in construction levels are the key issues of ecological civilisation construction. This study aims to build 35 index systems that coalesce on four aspects: ecological economic adjustment and operation, ecological and social development and progress, ecological resources and environmental security, and ecological institutional and cultural awareness. We measured and evaluated the level of ecological civilisation construction of 329 cities(prefecture-level cities, autonomous prefectures and leagues) in 2018 using a comprehensive evaluation system and a spatial autocorrelation method to assess spatial differences in the level of ecological civilisation construction across China. This approach takes ‘the humanities-economic geography’ comprehensive perspective and uses a GWR(geographically weighted regression) model to analyse 10 influencing factors. Results show that: 1) the level of ecological construction can be divided into five types: higher, high, medium, low, and lower levels, according to the evaluation score. The five types are spindle-shaped in quantity and there is a significant imbalance in their spatial distribution, mainly trending from the southeast coast to the northwest. The land is decreasing, and the southern region is higher in level than the northern region. 2) The results of the spatial autocorrelation method show obvious spatial differences in ecological civilisation construction across China and that the level of ecological civilisation construction is positively autocorrelated. From east to west, the hot zone gradually transitions to a cold zone. A high-high type is mainly distributed in eastern coastal cities of China, and the number of high-low and low-high types are small. The low-low type is mainly distributed in the northwestern and northeastern regions. 3) The effect of influencing factors is heterogeneous in their spatial distribution, and the abundance of ecological resources is the most influential factor. According to the main influencing factors, each region should adhere to the principle of differentiation according to local conditions when choosing its ecological civilisation construction path and establishing an assessment mechanism. | 14 | Expression and regulation of genes involved in the reserve starch biosynthesis pathway in hexaploid wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)显示文摘Reserve starch of cereal crop accounts for about 70%of grain endosperm and acts as an important human carbohydrate resource worldwide.Wheat reserve starch is synthesized by enzymatic machinery in endosperm cells.To identify genes involved in starch biosynthesis,we constructed 30 RNA-Seq libraries of 10 endosperm-development periods and performed expression and localization analyses.Of 166 endosperm-expressed homologs of starch biosynthesis-related genes,74 showed expression correlated with reserve starch accumulation,including 26 with expected subcellular distribution and higher expression than their isoforms.The key proteins SUS3,UGP1,cAGPase,and Bt1-3 formed the main metabolic pathway and contributed the major substrates for starch processing in amyloplasts.Important isoforms,key pathway proteins,and the main carbon flux toward starch formation in the reserve starch biosynthesis pathway were identified.Based on a coexpression analysis,a library of 425 transcription factors was produced to screen for common regulators.TaMYB44 had features of transcription factors and bound to TaSUT1,TaSSIIIa,TaBEIIa,TaISA1,and TaBEIIb promoters in yeast,suggesting that the gene is a pathway regulator.This study sheds light on understanding the mechanism of reserve starch biosynthesis and will be helpful for increasing starch content in wheat endosperm via biotechnological strategies. | Yunsong Gu Shichen Han Lin Chen Junyi Mu Luning Duan Yaxuan Li Yueming Yan Xiaohui Li | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,2: | 1 |

| 17 | Poisson-Fokker-Planck model for biomolecules translocation through nanopore driven by electroosmotic flow显示文摘A non-continuous electroosmotic flow model(PFP model)is built based on Poisson equation,Fokker-Planck equation and Navier-Stokse equation,and used to predict the DNA molecule translocation through nanopore.PFP model discards the continuum assumption of ion translocation and considers ions as discrete particles.In addition,this model includes the contributions of Coulomb electrostatic potential between ions,Brownian motion of ions and viscous friction to ion transportation.No ionic diffusion coefficient and other phenomenological parameters are needed in the PFP model.It is worth noting that the PFP model can describe non-equilibrium electroosmotic transportation of ions in a channel of a size comparable with the mean free path of ion.A modified clustering method is proposed for the numerical solution of PFP model,and ion current translocation through nanopore with a radius of 1 nm is simulated using the modified clustering method.The external electric field,wall charge density of nanopore,surface charge density of DNA,as well as ion average number density,influence the electroosmotic velocity profile of electrolyte solution,the velocity of DNA translocation through nanopore and ion current blockade.Results show that the ion average number density of electrolyte and surface charge density of nanopore have a significant effect on the translocation velocity of DNA and the ion current blockade.The translocation velocity of DNA is proportional to the surface charge density of nanopore,and is inversely proportional to ion average number density of electrolyte solution.Thus,the translocation velocity of DNAs can be controlled to improve the accuracy of sequencing by adjusting the external electric field,ion average number density of electrolyte and surface charge density of nanopore.Ion current decreases when the ion average number density is larger than the critical value and increases when the ion average number density is lower than the critical value.Our numerical simulation shows that the translocation velocity of DNA given by the PFP model agrees with the experimental,results better than that given by PNP model or PB model. | LIN XiaoHui ZHANG ChiBin GU Jun JIANG ShuYun YANG JueKuan | 2014 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,11: | 1 |

| 20 | Pathological significance and regulatory mechanism of lymphotoxin β receptor overexpression in T cells of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus显示文摘Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) is a typical autoimmune disease. Lymphotoxin β receptor(LTβR) signaling plays an important role in autoimmune inflammations. LTβR-Ig fusion protein, LTβR blocking agent, has been used to treat SLE, while its mechanism remains to be fully elucidated. In this study, to investigate the expression of LTβR in the T cells of SLE patients and its roles in the pathogenesis of SLE, we isolated the peripheral blood T cells of SLE patients and normal controls to detect expression of LTβR by flow cytometry and RNA assay. T cells were also stimulated with LIGHT, a ligand of LTβR, and then detected for their LTβR expressions and apoptosis by flow cytometry. Also, their expressions of inflammatory factors and receptors were determined by RNA assay. The results showed that LTβR positive cells were 22.75%±6.98% in CD3^+ cells of SLE patients, while there were almost no LTβR positive cells in CD3^+ cells of normal persons. Moreover, LTβR expression was remarkably higher in CD3,CD4 and CD8 positive T cells of active SLE patients than non/low active patients(all P<0.05), and positively correlated with increased Ig level, decreased complement level and renal damage. Moreover, the stimulation of SLE T cells with LIGHT promoted higher expression of LTβR, IL-23 R and IL-17 A, and apoptosis of T cells.
