| 2 | Role and effect of vein-transplanted human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells in the repair of diabetic foot ulcers in rats显示文摘Diabetic foot ulcer(DFU)is one of diabetic complications,which is frequently present and tormented in diabetes mellitus.Most multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells(MSCs)are capable of immune evasion,providing an allogeneic,ready-to-use,cell product option for therapeutic applications.The beneficial effect of MSCs for the treatment of a variety of traumatic injuries,such as open wounds,has been extensively explored.In this study,a rat DFU model was used to simulate the pathophysiology of clinical patients and to investigate the localization of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells(hUC-MSCs)after intravenous transplantation and its role in DFU healing,so as to evaluate the potential of hUC-MSCs in the treatment of DFU.The diabetic rat model was established by streptozotocin injection,which was used to create full-thickness foot dorsal skin wounds to mimic DFU by a 6-mm skin biopsy punch and a Westcott scissor.The hUC-MSCs were transplanted through femoral vein,and the ulcer cicatrization situation and the fate of hUC-MSCs were evaluated.Our data suggest that intravenously transplantated hUC-MSCs have the ability to migrate and locate to the wound tissue and are helpful to wound healing in DFU rats,partly by regulating inflammation,trans-differentiation and providing growth factors that promote angiogenesis,cell proliferation and collagen deposition.Herein,we demonstrate that hUC-MSC transplantation is able to accelerate DFU healing in rats and transplantation of exogenous stem cells may be a potential strategy for clinical application in DFUs. | Rongfeng Shi Weishuai Lian Yinpeng Jin Chuanwu Cao Shilong Han Xiaohu Yang Suming Zhao Maoquan Li Hui Zhao | 2020 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,6: | 13 |

Compared to existing mobile communication techniques, 5 G has more varied applications and its corresponding system design is more complicated. The resurgence of artificial intelligence(AI) techniques offers an alternative option that is possibly superior to traditional ideas and performance. Typical and potential research directions related to the promising contributions that can be achieved through AI must be identified, evaluated, and investigated.To this end, this study provides an overview that first combs through several promising research directions in AI for 5 G technologies based on an understanding of the key technologies in 5 G. | 4 | Numerical Simulation of Particle Concentration in a Gas Cyclone Separator显示文摘The particle concentration inside a cyclone separator at different operation parameters was simulated with the FLUENT software. The Advanced Reynolds Stress Model (ARSM) was used in gas phase turbulence modeling. Stochastic Particle Tracking Model (SPTM) and the Particle-Source-In-Cell (PSIC) method were adopted for particles computing. The interaction between particles and the gas phase was also taken into account. The numerical simulation results were in agreement with the experimental data. The simulation revealed that an unsteady spiral dust strand appeared near the cyclone wall and a non-axi-symmetrical dust ring appeared in the annular space and under the cover plate of the cyclone. There were two regions in the radial particle concentration distribution, in which particle concentration was low in the inner region (r/R≤0.75) and increased greatly in the outer region (r/R>0.75). Large particles generally had higher concentration in the near-wall region and small particles had higher concentration in the inner swirling flow region. The axial distribution of particle concentration in the inner swirling flow (r/R≤0.3) region showed that there existed serious fine particle entrainment within the height of 0.5D above the dust discharge port and a short-cut flow at a distance of about 0.25D below the entrance of the vortex finder. The dimensionless concentration in the high-concentration region increased obviously in the upper part of the cyclone separation space when inlet particle loading was large. | 5 | Unifying eigen-mode MIMO transmission显示文摘Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technique plays a key role in improving the spectrum and power efficiency in future mobile communication systems. Exploiting a unified MIMO transmission scheme that can adapt with various channel conditions is well motivated both in theory and practical applications. An eigen-mode based closed-loop MIMO transmission over frequency selective fading MIMO channels, which considers receive correlation, transmit correlation and line of sight (LOS) components, is investigated by maximizing the upper bound of channel capacity under the assumption that the channel is partially known at the transmitter and perfectly known at the receiver. Based on the eigen-mode transmission, several key techniques including linear precoding, stream selection, virtual spatial hopping and online capacity estimation are proposed, and a unified MIMO transmission scheme is established. | 7 | Exposure risk of groundwater arsenic contamination from Huaihe River Plain,China显示文摘Arsenic poses a danger to public health and drinking arsenic-rich groundwater is the main route for human exposure to this element.The focus of this study is to assess the risk magnitude and likelihood for arsenic-rich groundwater in Huaihe River Plain,China using Risk Magnitude and Indicator Kriging methods.It has been found that 481 in 5515 investigated samples exceed the drinking water standards of the World Health Organization,which present a high exposure risk for public health.Arsenic concentrations range from 0.001 to 356.00 mg/L,with a median of 2.10 mg/L.The proportion of contaminated shallow groundwater samples is 9.77%,and the counterpart from deep layer is 2.85%,respectively.Arsenic concentrations are obviously higher in plain areas than those in hilly areas.High Risk Magnitude and Very High Risk Magnitude samples are sporadically positioned in inland and coastal plain.According to the prediction of Risk Probability maps over shallow and deep groundwater,high arsenic Risk Probability areas is scattered in the inland and coastal portion,and both Risk Probability peaks are similar.Some high arsenic hazard areas have been found to possess high cancer rates,and high Risk Probability peaks are correlated with cancer cluster.The potential high arsenic hazard areas over shallow groundwater encompass more than 4709 km^(2),while the counterpart over deep groundwater is 1446 km2.2.88 million people are estimated to be potentially exposed to High Risk Probability of arsenic.This paper carried out research on exposure risk of arsenic contamination from Huaihe River Plain,China,which may provide guidance for regionalization of drinking groundwater safety. | Naizheng Xu Lei Shi Xiaohu Tao Lin Liu Jianshi Gong | 2022 | Emerging Contaminants2022,8,1: | 2 |

| 12 | Core-Shell Structure of NaYF4@SiO2@Au Nanocomposite of Synthesis and Characterization with Mechanisms Research显示文摘A facile method for preparing monodisperse NaYF4@SiO2@Au core-shell nanocomposite was developed. Transmission electron microscopy(TEM) as well as EDX(energy dispersive X-ray) was used to characterize the samples. The TEM showed the composite was a core-shell structure, spherical,with the uniform size of about 100 nm. TEM and EDX revealed that the NPs were coated with a layer of SiO2 and Au shell. The core shell structure of NaYF4@SiO2@Au nanocomposite could dispersed in water easily. More importantly,after being coated with SiO2 and Au, it was feasible for function by-SH and-NH2 groups, respectively. The forming process of the Au shell was monitored with TEM. The mechanism of coating Au shell was discussed in detail. | 16 | Electronic tattoos based on large-area Mo2C grown by chemical vapor deposition for electrophysiology显示文摘Tattoo electronics has attracted intensive interest in recent years due to its comfortable wearing and imperceivable sensing,and has been broadly applied in wearable healthcare and human-machine interface.However,the tattoo electrodes are mostly composed of metal films and conductive polymers.Two-dimensional(2D)materials,which are superior in conductivity and stability,are barely studied for electronic tattoos.Herein,we reported a novel electronic tattoo based on large-area Mo_(2)C film grown by chemical vapor deposition(CVD),and applied it to accurately and imperceivably acquire on-body electrophysiological signals and interface with robotics.High-quality Mo_(2)C film was obtained via optimizing the distribution of gas flow during CVD growth.According to the finite element simulation(FES),bottom surface of Cu foil covers more stable gas flow than the top surface,thus leading to more uniform Mo_(2)C film.The resulting Mo_(2)C film was transferred onto tattoo paper,showing a total thickness of~3μm,sheet resistance of 60-150Ω/sq,and skin-electrode impedance of~5×10^(5)Ω.Such thin Mo_(2)C electronic tattoo(MCET in short)can form conformal contact with skin and accurately record electrophysiological signals,including electromyography(EMG),electrocardiogram(ECG),and electrooculogram(EOG).These body signals collected by MCET can not only reflect the health status but also be transformed to control the robotics for human-machine interface. | Shiyu Wang Xin Wang Weifeng Zhang Xiaohu Shi Dekui Song Yan Zhang Yan Zhao Zihan Zhao Nan Liu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,3: | 1 |

| 20 | Adsorption of Nin(n=1-4)clusters on perfect and O-defective CuAl2O4 surfaces:A DFT study显示文摘The density functional theory was employed to investigate the adsorption of Nin (n=1–4) on the perfect and O-defect CuAl2O4 surfaces. The computational results show that for single Ni atom on the perfect spinel (100) surface, the adsorption energy is-5.30 eV, much larger than Ni on other CuAl2O4 surfaces. The adsorption of Nin (n=1–4) absorbed on the O-defect CuAl2O4 (100) surface is less stable than on the perfect CuAl2O4 (100) surface. However, the adsorption energy for Nin (n=1–4) on the O-defect CuAl2O4 (110) surface is close to on the perfect CuAl2O4 (110) surface. Bader charge and partial density of states (PDOS) analysis revel that the adsorption of Ni on the CuAl2O4 spinel surface is accompanied by charge transfer from the metal to the support. The growth and aggregations analysis show that the general growth and aggregation ability for Nin clusters follow the order:gas phase>γ-Al2O3 (110)>CuAl2O4 (110)>CuAl2O4 (100).
