2DEEPEYE: An Automatic Big Data Visualization Framework显示文摘Data visualization transforms data into images to aid the understanding of data; therefore, it is an invaluable tool for explaining the significance of data to visually inclined people. Given a(big) dataset, the essential task of visualization is to visualize the data to tell compelling stories by selecting, filtering, and transforming the data, and picking the right visualization type such as bar charts or line charts. Our ultimate goal is to automate this task that currently requires heavy user intervention in the existing visualization systems. An evolutionized system in the field faces the following three main challenges:(1) Visualization verification: to determine whether a visualization for a given dataset is interesting, from the viewpoint of human understanding;(2) Visualization search space: a 'boring' dataset may become interesting after an arbitrary combination of operations such as selections,joins, and aggregations, among others;(3) On-time responses: do not deplete the user's patience. In this paper,we present the DEEPEYE system to address these challenges. This system solves the first challenge by training a binary classifier to decide whether a particular visualization is good for a given dataset, and by using a supervised learning to rank model to rank the above good visualizations. It also considers popular visualization operations, such as grouping and binning, which can manipulate the data, and this will determine the search space. 3Off-Design Performance of 9F Gas Turbine Based on gPROMs and BP Neural Network Model显示文摘Gas turbines are increasingly and widely used,whose research and production reflect a country’s industrial capacity and level.Due to the changeable working environment,gas turbines usually work under the condition of simultaneous changes of ambient temperature,load and fuel.However,the current researches mainly focus on the change in single condition,and do not fully consider the simultaneous change in different conditions.On the basis of single condition,this paper further studies the dual off-design performance of gas turbines under three conditions:temperature-load,fuel-load and fuel-temperature.Firstly,the whole machine model of a gas turbine is established,in which the compressor model has the greatest impact on the performance of gas turbines.Therefore,this paper obtains a more accurate compressor model by combining the engineering modeling advantages of gPROMs and the powerful mathematical calculation ability of MATLAB neural network.Then,according to the established gas turbine model,the dual off-design performance is studied,which is mainly based on the parameter of output and efficiency.The result shows that the efficiency and power output of gas turbines will decrease with the increase of ambient temperature.With the decrease of fuel calorific value,power output and efficiency will increase.As the load decreases,the efficiency of the gas turbines will decrease,and these changes are consistent with the single off-design performance.However,when the fuel and temperature change simultaneously,only adjusting the IGV angle cannot avoid the surge when the temperature is above 30°C.At this time,it is necessary to adjust the extraction rate in order to ensure the safe and stable operation of gas turbines.Therefore,the research on dual off-design performance of gas turbines has an important significance for the peak shaving operation of gas turbines.HAO Xuedi SUN Lei CHI Jinling ZHANG Shijie 2022Journal of Thermal Science2022,31,1:2
4Nitrate increases cisplatin chemosensitivity of oral squamous cell carcinoma via REDD1/AKT signaling pathway显示文摘Although cisplatin is one of the chemotherapeutics most frequently used in oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)treatment,it exerts multiple side effects and poor chemosensitivity.Nitrate reportedly demonstrates several beneficial biological functions,and synthesized nitrates enhance the therapeutic efficacy of chemotherapy.However,the role of inorganic nitrate in cisplatin chemotherapy remains unclear.We therefore investigated the effect of inorganic nitrate exerted on cisplatin sensitivity in OSCC.We found that nitrate did not affect OSCC cell growth and apoptosis in OSCC cells and OSCC xenograft tumor animal studies.Cisplatin induced REDD1 expression and AKT activation in OSCC.However,nitrate could increase cisplatin chemosensitivity,reduce its REDD1 expression,and attenuate AKT signaling activation in OSCC cells.Dysregulation of high levels of REDD1,which could enhance AKT activation,was positively associated with poor prognosis in OSCC patients.Thus,reduced REDD1 expression and retarded AKT activation induced by inorganic nitrate might be a new potential approach to the sensitization of oral cancer to cisplatin treatment in the future.Yuanyong Feng Xuedi Cao Bin Zhao Chunyan Song Baoxing Pang Liang Hu Chunmei Zhang Jinsong Wang Junqi He Songlin Wang 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,11:2

11Redirecting dynamic structural evolution of nickel-contained RuO_(2) catalyst during electrochemical oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Electrochemical oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is a main efficiency bottleneck of water electrolysis.Commercial ruthenium oxide (RuO_(2)) catalyst displays remarkable activities but poor stability for OER.The instability stems from lattice oxygen oxidation,resulting in the oxidation of Ru^(4+) to soluble Ru^(4+)(x>4) species.Herein,we redirect dynamic structural evolution of Ru-based catalysts through introducing oxidized nickel (Ni) components.By virtue of comprehensive structural characterizations,such as high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy (HAADF-STEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS),operando Raman and so forth,it is demonstrated that when the atomic content of Ni exceeds that of ruthenium (Ru),the Ni components can efficiently inhibit the Ru^(4+) oxidation and structural collapse.Density functional theory (DFT) calculations suggest that the introduction of Ni component hinders the formation of oxygen vacancies,and makes lattice oxygen mediated mechanism turn to adsorbate evolution mechanism,which eventually improves the stability.The optimized nickel-contained RuO_(2) catalyst delivers an effective reactivity with an overpotential of less than 215 m V to attain 10 m A cm^(-2) and remarkable stability with only 5 mV increment after 5000 potential cycles.This work provides insights into the origin of dynamic structural evolution of transition-metalmodified RuO_(2) electrocatalysts.Yuhan Zhao Menghua Xi Yanbin Qi Xuedi Sheng Pengfei Tian Yihua Zhu Xiaoling Yang Chunzhong Li Hongliang Jiang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,6:1

15Alleviative effects of a novel strain Bacillus coagulans XY2 on copper-induced toxicity in zebrafish larvae显示文摘Copper (Cu) is a kind of micronutrient element that is essential for human metabolism.However,it is also considered as an environmental pollutant which is toxic to organisms at a high concentration level.Probiotics,regarded as beneficial microorganisms for promoting human health,have functions of antioxidant capacity,immune-enhancing properties,intestinal barrier protection and regulation.Several studies have reported that probiotics show positive effects on alleviating and intervening heavy metals toxicity.However,evidence for relieving copper-induced toxicity by probiotics is still limited.In this study,we firstly conducted a zebrafish larvae model to screen out microorganisms which are helpful for CuSO_(4)toxicity resistance and one novel strain named as Bacillus coagulans XY2 was discovered with the best protective activity.B.coagulans XY2 significantly reduced the mortality of zebrafish larvae exposed to 10μmol/L CuSO_(4)for 96 hr,as well as alleviated the neutrophils infiltration in the larvae lateral line under a 2 hr exposure.B.coagulans XY2 exhibited a high in vitro antioxidant activity and against CuSO_(4)-induced oxidative stress in zebrafish larvae by up-regulating sod1,gstp1 and cat gene transcriptional levels and relevant enzymatic activities.CuSO_(4)stimulated the inflammation process resulting in obvious increases of gene il-1βand il-10 transcription,which were suppressed by B.coagulans XY2 intervention.Overall,our results underline the bio-function of B.coagulans XY2 on protecting zebrafish larvae from copper toxicity,suggesting the potential application values of probiotics in copper toxicity alleviation on human and the environment.Fang Ai Xuedi Huang Yalan Wu Chen Ji Yufang Gao Ting Yu Fujie Yan 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,3:1
