1Minimal invasive microscopic tooth preparation in esthetic restoration: a specialist consensus显示文摘By removing a part of the structure,the tooth preparation provides restorative space,bonding surface,and finish line for various restorations on abutment.Preparation technique plays critical role in achieving the optimal result of tooth preparation.With successful application of microscope in endodontics for>30 years,there is a full expectation of microscopic dentistry.However,as relatively little progress has been made in the application of microscopic dentistry in prosthodontics,the following assumptions have been proposed:Is it suitable to choose the tooth preparation technique under the naked eye in the microscopic vision?Is there a more accurate preparation technology intended for the microscope?To obtain long-term stable therapeutic effects,is it much easier to achieve maximum tooth preservation and retinal protection and maintain periodontal tissue and oral function health under microscopic vision?Whether the microscopic prosthodontics is a gimmick or a breakthrough in obtaining an ideal tooth preparation should be resolved in microscopic tooth preparation.This article attempts to illustrate the concept,core elements,and indications of microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation,physiological basis of dental pulp,periodontium and functions involved in tool preparation,position ergonomics and visual basis for dentists,comparison of tooth preparation by naked eyes and a microscope,and comparison of different designs of microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation techniques.Furthermore,a clinical protocol for microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation based on target restorative space guide plate has been put forward and new insights on the quantity and shape of microscopic minimally invasive tooth preparation has been provided.Haiyang Yu Yuwei Zhao Junying Li Tian Luo Jing Gao Hongchen Liu Weicai Liu Feng Liu Ke Zhao Fei Liu Chufan Ma Juergen MSetz Shanshan Liang Lin Fan Shanshan Gao Zhuoli Zhu Jiefei Shen Jian Wang Zhimin Zhu Xuedong Zhou 2019International Journal of Oral Science2019,11,4:25
2Potentially dangerous glacial lakes across the Tibetan Plateau revealed using a large-scale automated assessment approach显示文摘Glacial lake outburst floods(GLOFs) are a major concern in the Himalaya and on the Tibetan Plateau(TP),where several disasters occurring over the past century have caused significant loss of life and damage to infrastructure. This study responds directly to the needs of local authorities to provide guidance on the most dangerous glacial lakes across TP where local monitoring and other risk reduction strategies can subsequently be targeted. Specifically, the study aims to establish a first comprehensive prioritisation ranking of lake danger for TP, considering both the likelihood and possible magnitude of any outburst event(hazard), and the exposure of downstream communities. A composite inventory of 1,291 glacial lakes(>0.1 km^2) was derived from recent remote sensing studies, and a fully automated and object assessment scheme was implemented using customised GIS tools. Based on four core determinates of GLOF hazard(lake size, watershed area, topographic potential for ice/rock avalanching, and dam steepness), the scheme accurately distinguishes the high to very high hazard level of 19 out of 20 lakes that have previously generated GLOFs. Notably, 16% of all glacial lakes threaten human settlements, with a hotspot of GLOF danger identified in the central Himalayan counties of Jilong, Nyalam, and Dingri, where the potential trans-boundary threat to communities located downstream in Nepal is also recognised. 3Droplet deposition and efficiency of fungicides sprayed with small UAV against wheat powdery mildew显示文摘Small unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV),a timely and effective pesticide sprayer,can be used to spray pesticide in a high efficiency without harming the crop,and is especially suitable for spraying for small farms and hills in Asian countries.In recent years,it has been chosen as a key and new technique for pesticide application.This paper studied the impact of UAV(UAV N-3)spraying parameters(different working height and different spraying concentrations)on the deposition of droplets on the wheat canopy and the prevention of powdery mildew.Water sensitive paper was used as the sampler to collect the pesticide droplets and image processing software Deposit Scan was used to compute the coverage rate of droplets on the wheat top layer to acquire the proportional distribution of droplets on the wheat lower layer.The experimental results showed the impact of spraying height on the distribution of droplets on the wheat upper layer was quite significant,when the spraying height was 5.0 m and the spraying speed was 4 m/s,the coverage rate of droplets on the wheat lower layer was the largest,as it was 45.6%of that on the upper layer,the droplets distribution was the most uniform,and the coefficient of variation was 33.13%.450 g/hm^(2)(dosage registered)of triadimefon SC(44%)was sprayed by the UAV,the control efficiency reached 55.1%after applying which was better than 20%and 40%of dosage decreased for each hectare,and the applying effect(35.6%)of 20%dosage decreased for each hectare had no significant difference from the applying effect(34.6%)applied by a knapsack-type electric sprayer.At 10 d after applying,the prevention effect realized by UAV was lower than that realized by a knapsack-type electric sprayer,and it may be correlated to the meteorological condition and water amount in the pesticide sprayed.Thus,when UAV spraying was chosen to prevent wheat powdery mildew under a serious disease situation,an auxiliary agent for spraying could be added to prolong the retention of pesticide on the plant surface to extend the pesticide effect.This study can provide a reference for the optimized design,performance upgrade and reasonable application of small UAV sprayers.Weicai Qin Xinyu Xue Shaoming Zhang Wei Gu Baokun Wang 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,2:16

7Preparation of monodisperse, superparamagnetic, luminescent, and multifunctional PGMA microspheres with amino-groups显示文摘Micron-sized, monodisperse, superparamagnetic, luminescent composite poly(glycidyl methacrylate) (PGMA) microspheres with functional amino-groups were successfully synthesized in this study. The process of preparation was as follows: preparation of monodisperse poly(glycidyl methacrylate) mi- crospheres by dispersion polymerization method; modification of poly(glycidyl methacrylate) micro- spheres with ethylene diamine to form amino-groups; impregnation of iron ions (Fe2+ and Fe3+) inside the microspheres and subsequently precipitating them with ammonium hydroxide to form magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles within the polymer microspheres; infusion of CdSe/CdS core-shell quantum dots (QDs) into magnetic polymer microspheres. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to char- acterize surface morphology and size distribution of composite microspheres. The average size of mi- crospheres was 1.42 μm with a size variation of 3.8%. The composite microspheres were bright enough and easily observed using a conventional fluorescence microscope. The composite microspheres were easily separated from solution by magnetic decantation using a permanent magnet. 8Synergistic osteogenic and angiogenic effects of KP and QK peptides incorporated with an injectable and self-healing hydrogel for efficient bone regeneration显示文摘Irregular defects generated by trauma or surgery in orthopaedics practice were usually difficult to be fitted by the preformed traditional bone graft substitute. Therefore, the injectable hydrogels have attracted an increasing interest for bone repair because of their fittability and mini-invasivity. However, the uncontrollable spreading or mechanical failures during its manipulation remain a problem to be solved. Moreover, in order to achieve vascularized bone regeneration, alternatives of osteogenic and angiogenic growth factors should be adopted to avoid the problem of immunogenicity and high cost. In this study, a novel injectable self-healing hydrogel system (GMO hydrogel) loaded with KP and QK peptides had been developed for enhancing vascularized regeneration of small irregular bone defect. The dynamic imine bonds between gelatin methacryloyl and oxidized dextran provided the GMO hydrogel with self-healing and shear-thinning abilities, which led to an excellent injectability and fittability. By photopolymerization of the enclosed GelMA, GMO hydrogel was further strengthened and thus more suitable for bone regeneration. Besides, the osteogenic peptide KP and angiogenic peptide QK were tethered to GMO hydrogel by Schiff base reaction, leading to desired releasing profiles. In vitro, this composite hydrogel could significantly improve the osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs and angiogenesis ability of HUVECs. In vivo, KP and QK in the GMO hydrogel demonstrated a significant synergistic effect in promoting new bone formation in rat calvaria. 9Interface Enhancement of Glass Fiber/Unsaturated Polyester Resin Composites with Nano-Silica Treated Using Silane Coupling Agent显示文摘Nano-silica treated with different kinds of coupling agent(KH550, A-143, A-151) was used to modify the surface condition of glass fiber, and then, the modified glass fiber/ unsaturated polyester resin(UPR) composites materials were prepared. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM), dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA), and impact test were used to characterize the composite materials' structure and properties. The morphology of composite materials shows that the adhesion between nano-silica and glass fiber is improved when silane coupling agent is added in. The DMA and impact test results show that silane coupling agent(especially KH550 and A-151) could effectively improve the composite's mechanical properties. 13Unveiling the role of lithiophilic sites denseness in regulating lithium ion deposition显示文摘The construction of lithiophilic sites is an effective way to achieve uniform lithium(Li)ion deposition for stably cycling Li metal batteries.However,in-depth investigations involving lithiophilic sites denseness(LSD)in impacting Li ion deposition remain unknown.Herein we propose an insight into this issue by probing the effect of LSD on determining the Li ion deposition.Experimental characterization and theoretical simulation demonstrate that rational LSD plays a vital role in both Li nucleation and the subsequent Li ion plating behaviors.By tailoring the LSD from low to high,the accompanied Li nucleation overpotentials continuously decrease.Additionally,the Li ion mobility increases first and then weakens in the subsequent Li ion plating stage.Consequently,the Li metal with a moderate LSD allows a dendritefree morphology and satisfactory long-term cycling performances.This work affords a deeper fundamental understanding of lithiophilic chemistry that directs the development of efficient strategies to realize dendrite-free Li metal batteries.Tianlai Wu Yongyin Wang Weicai Zhang Kaixin Lu Jieyin Tan Mingtao Zheng Yong Xiao Yingliang Liu Yeru Liang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,8:1
