1Daylight and thermal performance of a switchable ethylene tetra-fluoro-ethylene cushion with dynamic control in different climates显示文摘Switchable multi-layer ethylene tetra-fluoro-ethylene(ETFE)cushion controls the natural light and heat flux passing through the cushion with varying outdoor conditions by dynamically modifying its properties.In this paper,the switchable ETFE cushions with ink printing of different optical and thermal properties were adopted as the window in a typical office model,and the indoor daylight and energy consumption were simulated by using Grasshopper software.Experimental model was built to validate the numerical model.Five locations representing five climate zones in China were selected to analyze the feasibility of the switchable ETFE cushion in different climates.The hourly indoor daylight and heat gain in a single day revealed the effects of the dynamic mechanism of ETFE cushion in improving indoor natural light and thermal environment.In addition,the annual daylight performance at the working area(1.5 m from the window)was simulated.ETFE cushion with printing of the lowest transmittance(ETFE1)was the optimal option for most cities and window-to-wall ratios,with the percentage of annual useful daylight hours up to 78.6%,except for the cases where the window-to-wall ratio(WWR)was 0.35 in Harbin,Beijing,and Hefei.The distribution of useful daylight hours revealed that ETFE cushions with low,medium,and high printing transmittance were suitable for offices where people work in the front,medium,and back region of the room,respectively.Energy consumption calculation revealed that ETFE1 showed advantages over other windows in most cities except for cities highly dominated by heating.ETFE1 delivered up to 33%of energy saving over a year in Kunming compared with the conventional double glazing but was not superior in cities with high heating and low cooling demands,such as Harbin.Wanfang Zhao Wei He Zhongting Hu Xiaoyu Zheng Sheng Zhang Gaofei Xu Hongbing Chen Yanping Yuan 2022Building Simulation2022,15,1:2
2Synthesis and Tumor Cytotoxicity of Novel1,2,3-Triazole-substituted 3-Oxo-oleanolic Acid Derivatives显示文摘Fifteen novel 3-oxo-oleanolic acid esters bearing aryl substituted 1,2,3-triazolyl methyl moiety weresynthesized via the method of Copper(I)-catalyzed Huisgen cycloaddifion. The cytotoxicity evaluation results of thesecompounds against five human tumor cell lines show that most of these compounds presented potent activity andselectivity against A375-S2 and HT1080 cells. 3Peak compression technique in high-performance liquid chromatography显示文摘Peak compression technique based on the difference of the solute migration velocity in two different mobile phases was described theoretically and confirmed using benzaldehyde and 4-hydroxyquinoline (4-HQ) as model compounds. After peak compression, the peak compression factors (the ratio of peak width at half-height under non-compression and that under compression condition) of benzaldehyde and 4-HQ were 0.19 and 0.13, respectively. By this application of the peak compression technique to the mixture, both enhanced peak height and good separation were obtained in one run cycle. This peak compression technique was introduced to determine benzaldehyde from semicarbazide-sensitive amine oxidase-catalyzed enzymetic reaction in order to illustrate the applicability of this technique to the real sample. 5The relative importance of soil moisture in predicting bacterial wilt disease occurrence显示文摘Soil-borne plant diseases cause major economic losses globally.This is partly because their epidemiology is difficult to predict in agricultural fields,where multiple environmental factors could determine disease outcomes.Here we used a combination of field sampling and direct experimentation to identify key abiotic and biotic soil properties that can predict the occurrence of bacterial wilt caused by pathogenic Ralstonia solanacearum.By analyzing 139 tomato rhizosphere soils samples isolated from six provinces in China,we first show a clear link between soil properties,pathogen density and plant health.Specifically,disease outcomes were positively associated with soil moisture,bacterial abundance and bacterial community composition.Based on soil properties alone,random forest machine learning algorithm could predict disease outcomes correctly in 75%of cases with soil moisture being the most significant predictor.The importance of soil moisture was validated causally in a controlled greenhouse experiment,where the highest disease incidence was observed at 60%of maximum water holding capacity.Together,our results show that local soil properties can predict disease occurrence across a wider agricultural landscape,and that management of soil moisture could potentially offer a straightforward method for reducing crop losses to R.solanacearum.Gaofei Jiang Ningqi Wang Yaoyu Zhang Zhen Wang Yuling Zhang Jiabao Yu Yong Zhang Zhong Wei Yangchun Xu Stefan Geisen Ville-Petri Friman Qirong Shen 2021Soil Ecology Letters2021,3,4:1
6RIN enhances plant disease resistance via root exudate-mediated assembly of diseasesuppressive rhizosphere microbiota显示文摘The RIPENING-INHIBITOR(RIN)transcriptional factor is a key regulator governing fruit ripening.While RIN also affects other physiological processes,its potential roles in triggering interactions with the rhizosphere microbiome and plant health are unknown.Here we show that RIN affects microbiome-mediated disease resistance via root exudation,leading to recruitment of microbiota that suppress the soil-borne,phytopathogenic Ralstonia solanacearum bacterium.Compared with the wild-type(WT)plant,RIN mutants had different root exudate profiles,which were associated with distinct changes in microbiome composition and diversity.Specifically,the relative abundances of antibiosis-associated genes and pathogensuppressing Actinobacteria(Streptomyces)were clearly lower in the rhizosphere of rin mutants.The composition,diversity,and suppressiveness of rin plant microbiomes could be restored by the application of 3-hydroxyflavone and riboflavin,which were exuded in much lower concentrations by the rin mutant.Interestingly,RIN-mediated effects on root exudates,Actinobacteria,and disease suppression were evident from the seedling stage,indicating that RIN plays a dual role in the early assembly of diseasesuppressive microbiota and late fruit development.Collectively,our work suggests that,while plant disease resistance is a complex trait driven by interactions between the plant,rhizosphere microbiome,and the pathogen,it can be indirectly manipulated using'prebiotic'compounds that promote the recruitment of disease-suppressive microbiota.Keming Yang Ruixin Fu Haichao Feng Gaofei Jiang Omri Finkel Tianyu Sun Mingchun Liu Baowen Huang Shan Li Xiaofang Wang Tianjie Yang Yikui Wang Shimei Wang Yangchun Xu Qirong Shen Ville-Petri Friman Alexandre Jousset Zhong Wei 2023Molecular Plant2023,16,9:0

10Advances on the Molecular Mechanism of the Interaction between Ralstonia solanacearum and Hosts显示文摘Ralstonia solanacearum is an important model phytopathogenic bacterium that causes bacterial wilt disease on many plant species and leads to serious economic losses. The interactions between R. solanacearum and host plants have become a model system for the study of plants and pathogens interactions. This paper reviews the advances on the molecular mechanisms between R. solanacearum and hosts interaction including the formation of plant innate immunity, the suppression of plant innate immunity by this pathogen and the activation of effector-triggered immunity. 11Genomic divergence in cotton germplasm related to maturity and heterosis显示文摘Commercial varieties of upland cotton(Gossypium hirsutum)have undergone extensive breeding for agronomic traits,such as fiber quality,disease resistance,and yield.Cotton breeding programs have widely used Chinese upland cotton source germplasm(CUCSG)with excellent agronomic traits.A better understanding of the genetic diversity and genomic characteristics of these accessions could accelerate the identification of desirable alleles.Here,we analyzed 10,522 high-quality singlenucleotide polymorphisms(SNP)with the CottonSNP63 K microarray in 137 cotton accessions(including 12 hybrids of upland cotton).These data were used to investigate the genetic diversity,population structure,and genomic characteristics of each population and the contribution of these loci to heterosis.Three subgroups were identified,in agreement with their knownpedigrees,geographical distributions,and times since introduction.For each group,we identified lineagespecific genomic divergence regions,which potentially harbor key alleles that determine the characteristics of each group,such as early maturity-related loci.Investigation of the distribution of heterozygous loci,among 12 commercial cotton hybrids,revealed a potential role for these regions in heterosis.Our study provides insight into the population structure of upland cotton germplasm.Furthermore,the overlap between lineagespecific regions and heterozygous loci,in the high-yield hybrids,suggests a role for these regions in cotton heterosis.Shoupu He Gaofei Sun Longyu Huang Daigang Yang Panhong Dai Dayun Zhou Yuzhen Wu Xiongfeng Ma Xiongming Du Shoujun Wei Jun Peng Meng Kuang 2019Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2019,61,8:0
12Geometric modeling of underground ferromagnetic pipelines for magnetic dipole reconstruction-based magnetic anomaly detection显示文摘To aid the magnetic anomaly detection(MAD)of underground ferromagnetic pipelines,this paper proposes a geometric modeling method based on the magnetic dipole reconstruction method(MDRM).First,the numerical modeling of basic pipe components such as straight sections,bends and elbows,and tee joints are discussed and the relevant mathematical formulations for these components are derived.Next,after analyzing the function of MDRM and various element division strategies,the sectional division and blocked division methods are introduced and applied to the appropriate pipeline components to determine the volume and center coordinates of each element,establishing the general models for the three typical pipeline components considered.The resulting volume and center coordinates of each component are the fundamental parameters for determining the MAD forwarding of underground ferromagnetic pipelines using the MDRM.Finally,based on the combination and transformation of the basic pipeline components considered,the visualized geometric models of typical pipeline layouts including parallel pipelines,pipelines with elbows,and a pipeline with a tee joint are constructed.The results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method of geometric modeling for the MDRM,which can be further applied to the finite element modeling of these and other components when analyzing MAD data.Furthermore,the models with output parameters proposed in this paper establish a foundation for the inversion of MAD.Dandan Zhao Zhiyong Guo Jian Du Zhongxiang Liu Wei Xu Gaofei Liu 2020Petroleum2020,6,2:0
