| 3 | Cardioprotective effect of Yiqi Huoxue granule through regulation of mitophagy after myocardial infarction in rats显示文摘Objective:To investigate the cardioprotective effect of Yiqi Huoxue granule(YQHXG)in the regulation of autophagy in rats induced with myocardial infarction(MI).Methods:An acute MI animal model was established by ligation of the left anterior descending branch of the coronary artery in Sprague-Dawley rats.Besides,20 rats received sham operation were classified into a control group.The remaining 59 rats were randomly divided into MI model group(n=19),YQHXG group(n=20),and perindopril group(n=20).Relevant indicators on days 7 and 28 were observed in each group.Left ventricular function was determined by echocardiography.The structure and morphology of mitochondria,and the number of autophagic vesicles,were observed by transmission electron microscopy.The mRNA and protein expression levels of LC3,FUNDC1,Beclin-1,and BNIP3 were examined in the tissue of the MI marginal area.Results:Compared with the MI model group,YQHXG showed obvious improvements in cardiac functions.Observing the microscopic morphology of the heart tissue,myocardial tissue damage attenuated,autophagic signs of autophagosomes and autolysosomes reduced,vacuolization in mitochondria mitigated,and mitochondria arranged in order.YQHXG could reduce the degree of tissue lesion after MI and regulate the expression of autophagy-related molecules at different stages.On Day 7,YQHXG significantly downregulated the expression of Fundc1,Becn1,Bnip3 mRNA and reduced the levels of FUNDC1,Beclin-1,BNIP3,and LC3 B proteins expression(all P<.001).On Day 28,YQHXG could upregulate the expression of Becn1,Fundc1 and Bnip3 mRNA and increased the levels of the corresponding proteins expression(all P<.001).Besides,it also increased LC3 B protein expression level(P=.0344).Conclusion:YQHXG regulated the expression of mitochondrial autophagy-related factors in myocardial tissue and mitochondrial autophagic activity at different stages to protect the heart following MI. | Xi Chen Jiangong Wu Shuwen Guo Hanrong Mo Tianwei Zhan Fanghe Li Hui Wang Pengfei Feng Lulu Wei | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2020,7,2: | 1 |

| 5 | Expert consensus statement on diagnosis and treatment of cancer-related depressed mood state based on Chinese medicine显示文摘This consensus statement is organized into six parts:1)Definitions:cancer-related depressed mood state is defined as a group of depressive symptoms,rather than major depressive disorder.Thus,“cancer-related depression”or“depressed mood state”is introduced as standard terminology and associated with the Chinese medicine concept of“yu zheng”(depression syndrome).2)Pathogenesis:factors including psychological stress,cancer pain,cancer fatigue,sleep disorders,surgery trauma,chemotherapy,and radiation therapy are strongly associated with cancer-related depressed mood state.Crucial elements of pathogenesis are cancer caused by depression,depression caused by cancer,and the concurrence of phlegm,dampness,and stasis from constrained liver-qi and spleen deficiency.3)Symptoms:these include core symptoms,psychological symptoms,and somatic symptoms.Depressed mood and loss of interest are the main criteria for diagnosis.4)Clinical evaluation:based on the Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview and a numeric rating scale,and taking mood changes during cancer diagnosis and treatment into consideration,a questionnaire can be drafted to distinguish between major depressive disorder and cancer-related depression.The aim is to assist oncology clinicians to identify,treat,and refer patients with cancer-related depression.5)Diagnosis:diagnosis should be based on the Chinese Classification for Mental Disorders(CCMD-3),taking patients’mood changes during diagnosis and treatment into consideration.6)Treatment:treatments for cancer-related depression must be performed concurrently with cancer treatment.For mild depression,non-pharmacologic comprehensive therapies,including psychological intervention,music therapy,patient education,physical activity,and acupuncture,are recommended;for moderate depression,classical Chinese herbal formulas based on syndrome pattern differentiation combined with antidepressants are suggested;for severe depressive symptoms that have progressed to major depressive disorder, patients should be referred to a psychiatric clinician for specialized care. | Shaodan Tian Mei Jia Li Hou Xinyi Chen Dongyun Li Tianwei Guo | 2015 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2015,2,4: | 1 |

| 16 | Cultivars and oil extraction techniques affect Cd/Pb contents and health risks in oil of rapeseed grown on Cd/Pb-contaminated farmland显示文摘Substitute planting with rapeseed offers promise for safely using large areas of Cd/Pb-contaminated farmland.Cd/Pb distributions during rapeseed oil production were investigated and health risks posed by the oil were assessed.Tests were performed using three cultivars(Brassica rapa SYH and ZS100 and Brassica napus QY-1)and four oil extraction techniques(mechanical and low-temperature pressing and n-hexane and subcritical low-temperature butane extraction).The amounts of Cd and Pb in oil were 0.73%-8.44%and 3.14%-11.76%,respectively,of the amounts in rapeseed and were strongly affected by the cultivar and oil extraction technique.The heavy metal(HM)concentrations were lower in solvent-extracted oil(particularly subcritical low-temperature butane extracted oil,in which HMs were not detected)than mechanically pressed oil.The Cd and Pb transfer indices were lower(meaning larger proportions of HMs were retained by the rapeseed meal)for B.rapa than B.napus.This was attributed to a high HM binding protein content of B.rapa seed.Health risks to humans were assessed using a probabilistic risk assessment model.The carcinogenic risk was mainly(97.1%-99.9%)caused by Cd and poses more concern than non-carcinogenic risk.Stronger health risks are posed by mechanically pressed than solvent-extracted oil,and higher carcinogenic risks are posed to people living in rural areas than urban areas.Substitute planting with B.rapa and extracting oil with organic solvent(preferably subcritical low-temperature butane)are optimal for safely utilizing Cd/Pb-contaminated soil.Attention should be paid to the health risks posed by Cd in oil to rural populations. | Junmei Guo Yuexing Wei Junxing Yang Tongbin Chen Guodi Zheng Tianwei Qian Xiaona Liu Xiaofei Meng Mengke He | 2023 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,7: | 0 |
| 17 | Tuning band structure of graphitic carbon nitride for efficient degradation of sulfamethazine: Atmospheric condition and theoretical calculation显示文摘Numerous approaches have been used to modify graphitic carbon nitride (g-C_(3)N_(4)) for improving its photocatalytic activity. In this study, we demonstrated a facial post-calcination method for modified graphitic carbon nitride (g-C_(3)N_(4)-Ar/Air) to direct tuning band structure, i.e., bandgap and positions of conduction band (CB)/valence band (VB), through the control of atmospheric condition without involving any additional elements or metals or semiconductors. The synthesized g-C_(3)N_(4)-Ar/Air could efficiently degrade sulfamethazine (SMT) under simulated solar light, i.e., 99.0% removal of SMT with rate constant k1 = 2.696 h-1 within 1.5 h (4.9 times than pristine g-C_(3)N_(4)). Material characterizations indicated that the damaged/partial-collapsed structure and decreased nanosheet-interlayer distance for g-C_(3)N_(4)-Ar/Air resulted in the shift of band structure due to the denser stacking of pristine g-C_(3)N_(4) through oxidative exfoliation and planarization by air calcination. In addition, the bandgap of g-C_(3)N_(4)-Ar/Air was slightly shrunk from 2.82 eV (pristine g-C_(3)N_(4)) to 2.79 eV, and the CB was significantly upshifted from -0.44 eV (pristine g-C_(3)N_(4)) to -0.81 eV, suggesting the powerful ability for donating the electrons for O_(2) to form ^(·)O_(2)^(-). Fukui index (f -) based on theoretical calculation indicated that the sites of SMT molecule with high values, i.e., N9, C4 and C6, preferred to be attacked by ^(·)O_(2)^(-) and ^(·)OH, which is confirmed by the intermediates’ analysis. Flexible transparent electrochemical energy conversion and storage devices (FT–EECSDs), with endurable mechanical flexibility, outstanding optical transmittance, excellent electrochemical performance, and additional intelligent functions, are considered as preferable energy supplies for future self-powered flexible electronic systems. A comprehensive review of the reasonable design of flexible transparent electrode and recent progress on the FT–EECSDs is presented herein. The manufacturing techniques of generally classified three types of flexible transparent electrodes are systematically summarized. Emphasis is given to the recent developments in the transparent solid-state electrolyte, flexible transparent energy conversion, and storage devices. The standard evaluation methods and reasonable evaluation parameters to evaluate the flexibility and transparency of FT–EECSDs are highlighted. Additionally, the typical integrated applications of FT–EECSDs are also described.
