Mesophyll protoplasts of Brassica napus were isolated by enzymatic digestion. After being washed with isosmotic solution containing EDTA for several times, the protoplasts were purified by gradient centrifugation. Then the concentration of rare earth elements (REEs) in the protoplasts was determined by neutron activation analysis. | 3 | Effect of lit-moxa stimulation of Guanyuan(CV 4) acupoint on levels of lactic acid and super-oxide dismutase in skeletal muscle of rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the effect of lit-moxa stimulating acupoint Guanyuan(CV 4) on lactic acid and super-oxide dismutase(SOD) in skeletal muscle after exercise exhaustion.METHODS:Twenty-eight adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into normal control group,exhausted control group,exercise group and moxibustion group using exercise training and mild heating with lit-moxa stick as treatment methods.The exhausted control group,moxibustion group and exercise group received an exhaustive swimming after 20 days of intervention.Swimming exhausted times were recorded.Lactic acid and SOD concentration in soleus muscle were detected and compared between every two groups.RESULTS:The swimming exhausted times of the moxibustion group and the exercise group were significantly increased compare to the exhausted control group(P < 0.05).The lactic acid of the exhausted control group was significantly increased comparing with the normal control group(P <0.05),and the lactic acid of the moxibustion group and the exercise group were significantly lower than that of the exhausted control group(P < 0.05).The SOD level of the exhausted control group was significantly decreased comparing with the normal control group(P < 0.05),and the SOD level of the moxibustion group and the exercise group were significantly higher than that of the exhausted control group(both,P < 0.05).There was no statistical difference between the moxibustion group and the exercise group.CONCLUSION:With lit moxa stick,heat stimulating acupoint of Guanyuan(CV 4) decreased the levels of lactic acid and SOD in rat's skeletal muscle. | Mo Jie Wu Lili Sun Zhifang Wang Hongbin Ding Na He Long Zhang Lufen Liu Tonghua Li Xiaohong | 2015 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,2: | 6 |
| 4 | Estimation of crop water requirement based on principal component analysis and geographically weighted regression显示文摘In this study the principal component analysis (PCA) and geographically weighted regression (GWR) are combined to estimate the spatial distribution of water requirement of the winter wheat in North China while the effect of the macroand micro-topographic as well as the meteorological factors on the crop water requirement is taking into account. The spatial distribution characteristic of the water requirement of the winter wheat in North China and its formation are analyzed based on the spatial variation of the main affecting factors and the regression coefficients. The findings reveal that the collinearity can be effectively removed when PCA is applied to process all of the affecting factors. The regression coefficients of GWR displayed a strong variability in space, which can better explain the spatial differences of the effect of the affecting factors on the crop water requirement. The evaluation index of the proposed method in this study is more efficient than the widely used Kriging method. Besides, it could clearly show the effect of those affecting factors in different spatial locations on the crop water requirement and provide more detailed information on the region where those factors suddenly change. | 5 | Solvent extraction of U(VI) by trioctylphosphine oxide using a room-temperature ionic liquid显示文摘The unique physical and chemical properties of room-temperature ionic liquids(RTILs) have recently received increasing attention as solvent alternatives for possible application in the field of nuclear industry, particularly in liquid-liquid separations of radioactive nuclides. We investigated solvent extraction of U(VI) from aqueous solutions into a commonly used ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide([C4mim][NTf2]) using trioctylphosphine oxide(TOPO) as an extractant. The effects of contact time, TOPO concentration, acidity, and nitrate ions on the U(VI) extraction are discussed in detail. The extraction mechanism was proposed based on slope analysis and UV-Vis measurement. The results clearly show that TOPO/[C4mim][NTf2] provides a highly efficient extraction of U(VI) from aqueous solution under near-neutral conditions. When the TOPO concentration was 10 mmol/L, the extraction of 1 mmol/L U(VI) was almost complete(> 97%). Both the extraction efficiency and distribution coefficient were much larger than in conventional organic solvents such as dichloromethane. Slope analysis confirmed that three TOPO molecules in [C4mim][NTf2] bound with one U(VI) ion and one nitrate ion was also involved in the complexation and formed the final extracted species of [UO2(NO3)(TOPO)3]+. | 6 | Clemastine rescues behavioral changes and enhances remyelination in the cuprizone mouse model of demyelination显示文摘Increasing evidence suggests that white matter disorders based on myelin sheath impairment may underlie the neuropathological changes in schizophrenia.But it is unknown whether enhancing remyelination is a beneficial approach to schizophrenia.To investigate this hypothesis,we used clemastine,an FDA-approved drug with high potency in promoting oligodendroglial differentiation and myelination,on a cuprizone-induced mouse model of demyelination.The mice exposed to cuprizone(0.2%in chow) for 6 weeks displayed schizophrenia-like behavioral changes,including decreased exploration of the center in the open field test and increased entries into the arms of the Y-maze,as well as evident demyelination in the cortex and corpus callosum.Clemastine treatment was initiated upon cuprizone withdrawal at 10 mg/kg per day for3 weeks.As expected,myelin repair was greatly enhanced in the demyelinated regions with increased mature oligodendrocytes(APC-positive) and myelin basic protein.More importantly,the clemastine treatment rescued the schizophrenia-like behavioral changes in the open field test and the Y-maze compared to vehicle,suggesting a beneficial effect via promoting myelin repair.Our findings indicate that enhancing remyelination may be a potential therapy for schizophrenia. | Zhifang Li Yangtao He Shuangyi Fan Binbin Sun | 2015 | Neuroscience Bulletin2015,31,5: | 4 |

| 10 | One-pot synthesis of CNT-SAPO-34 composite supported copper and cerium catalysts with excellent surface resistance to SO_(2) and H_(2)O in NH_(3)-SCR显示文摘CuCe/CNT_(x)-SAPO-34(x=0,0.5,1,2) with various CNT doping quantities were synthesized through the one-pot hydrothermal synthesis method using CNT and SAPO-34 as composite supporters.The selected CuCe/CNT_1-SAPO-34 catalyst exhibits remarkable SCR activity and high H_(2)O/SO_(2) resistance in a wide temperature range of 200-450℃.X-ray diffraction(XRD),N_(2) adsorption-desorption,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray photoelectro n spectroscopy(XPS),H_(2)-temperature programmed reduction(H2-TPR),and NH3-temperature programmed desorption(NH_(3)-TPD) were used to characterize the physiochemical structure,surface state of active sites reducibility,and surface acidity of the catalysts.The characterization results reveal that CuCe/CNT_1-SAPO-34 possesses a hierarchical structure,small particle size,high levels of surface Cu^(2+),Ce^(3+) and chemisorbed oxygen,enhanced reducibility,and suitable surface acidity.For comparison,CuCe/CNT_1-SAPO-34(P) mixed mechanically with CuCe/CNT_0-SAPO-34and CNT was investigated through the NH3-SCR with and without H_(2)O/SO_(2),it also displays lower resistance of H_(2)O and SO_(2) than CuCe/CNT_1-SAPO-34.The catalytic performance made CuCe/CNT_1-SAPO-34 a promising catalyst for the NO_(x) emission control from diesel vehicles. | Yuanyuan Ma Zhifang Li Nan Zhao Mingyuan Shi Yuhang Sun Zheng Nan Liying Wang | 2023 | Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,9: | 1 |

XRD, TG-DTG, XPS and BET were used to study the phase, compositions and surface areas of the prepared catalysts. A model reactant containing thiophene, pyridine and cyclohexene was used for the measurements of catalytic activities. The effect of reduction temperature on catalytic activities was in- vestigated. The analysis results by XRD and BET are very different when the reduction temperature is changed from 400 to 900 °C.
