| 1 | Analytical validation of GMEX rapid point- of care CYP2C19 genotyping system for the CHANCE-2 trial显示文摘Background and purpose Rapid genotyping is useful for guiding early antiplatelet therapy in patients with high-risk nondisabling ischaemic cerebrovascular events(HR-NICE).Conventional genetic testing methods used in CYP2C19 genotype-guided antiplatelet therapy for patients with HR-NICE did not satisfy the needs of the Clopidogrel in High-Risk Patients with Acute Nondisabling Cerebrovascular Events(CHANCE)-2 trial.Therefore,we developed the rapid-genotyping GMEX(point-of care)system to meet the needs of the CHANCE-2 trial.Methods Healthy individuals and patients with history of cardiovascular diseases(n=408)were enrolled from six centres of the CHANCE-2 trial.We compared the laboratory-based genomic test results with Sanger sequencing test results for accuracy verification.Next,we demonstrated the accuracy,timeliness and clinical operability of the GMEX system compared with laboratory-based technology(YZY Kit)to verify whether the GMEX system satisfies the needs of the CHANCE-2 trial.Results Genotypes reported by the GMEX system showed 100%agreement with those determined by using the YZY Kit and Sanger sequencing for all three CYP2C19 alleles(*2,*3 and*17)tested.The average result’s turnaround times for the GMEX and YZY Kit methods were 85.0(IQR:85.0-86.0)and 1630.0(IQR:354.0-7594.0)min(p<0.001),respectively.Conclusions Our data suggest that the GMEX system is a reliable and feasible point-of care system for rapid CYP2C19 genotyping for the CHANCE-2 trial or related clinical and research applications. | Xia Meng Anxin Wang Guojun Zhang Siying Niu Wei Li Sifei Han Fang Fang Xingquan Zhao Kehui Dong Zening Jin Huaguang Zheng Kelin Chen Hao Li Chengyuan Yang Yongjun Wang | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2: | 7 |
| 2 | Clinical and radiological features of medullary infarction caused by spontaneous vertebral artery dissection显示文摘Background and purpose Medullary infarction(MI)caused by spontaneous vertebral artery dissection(sVAD)is an important type of stroke.It is important to distinguish sVAD from other causes of stroke since the treatment strategies and prognosis were different between them.In this study,we aimed to explore the clinical and radiological features of MI in patients with acute MI caused by sVAD.Methods Patients with acute MI caused by sVAD and non-sVAD in a single tertiary hospital were enrolled from 2010 to 2020.Epidemiologic,clinical and image features were collected and analysed.MI lesions were categorised into three levels rostrocaudally and four arterial groups:anteromedial,anterolateral,lateral and posterior.Results A total of 128 patients with MI were enrolled with 47 cases of sVAD and 81 cases of non-sVAD.Patients with sVAD were younger than those with non-sVAD(med 44 years old vs 58 years old).The sVAD group was less likely to have hypertension(44.68%vs 67.90%;p=0.010)and diabetes(19.15%vs 45.69%;p=0.003),but more likely to have non-sudden onset(27.66%vs 9.87%,p=0.009),minor neck injury(19.15%vs 1.23%;p=0.001)and headache(46.81%vs 7.41%;p=0.000).Vertically,sVAD became more common in caudal medulla than in rostral medulla.Horizontally,the sVAD group was more likely to have lateral MI(91.48%vs 2.96%,p=0.000).In multivariable logistic regression analysis,age,non-sudden onset and headache were independently associated with sVAD with ORs of 0.935(95%CI 0.892 to 0.981,p=0.006),3.507(95%CI 1.060 to 11.599,p=0.040)and 5.426(95%CI 1.673 to 17.599,p=0.005).Conclusion sVAD was not uncommon in patients with MI,especially in patients with lateral MI.Young patients with headache and non-sudden onset should remind clinician the possibility of sVAD. | Chun Yu Zhu Zhu Siying Li Yi Xu Wei Yan Xiaocui Kang Yao Li Qiang Dong Weijun Tang Xiang Han | 2022 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2022,7,3: | 3 |

| 4 | Clinical characteristics of 19 neonates born to mothers with COVID-19显示文摘The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical characteristics of neonates born to SARS-CoV-2 infected mothers and increase the current knowledge on the perinatal consequences of COVID-19.Nineteen neonates were admitted to Tongji Hospital from January 31 to February 29,2020.Their mothers were clinically diagnosed or laboratory-confirmed with COVID-19.We prospectively collected and analyzed data of mothers and infants.There are 19 neonates included in the research.Among them,10 mothers were confirmed COVID-19 by positive SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR in throat swab,and 9 mothers were clinically diagnosed with COVID-19.Delivery occurred in an isolation room and neonates were immediately separated from the mothers and isolated for at least 14 days.No fetal distress was found.Gestational age of the neonates was 38.61.5 weeks,and average birth weight was 3293425 g.SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR in throat swab,urine,and feces of all neonates were negative.SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR in breast milk and amniotic fluid was negative too.None of the neonates developed clinical,radiologic,hematologic,or biochemical evidence of COVID-19.No vertical transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and no perinatal complications in the third trimester were found in our study.The delivery should occur in isolation and neonates should be separated from the infected mothers and care givers. | Wei Liu Jing Wang Wenbin Li Zhaoxian Zhou Siying Liu Zhihui Rong | 2020 | Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,2: | 3 |

| 16 | The biogeographical distribution of tree species-abundance and its relation to climatic factors in mass islands显示文摘Tree species-abundance in forests is a function of geographical area and climate, although it is not clear whether such relationships apply to mass islands. We examined the spatial pattern of tree species in mass islands along the coast of Zhejiang, East China Sea using the Preston model, to identify the relationships between tree communities and climatic conditions. The results show that:(1) the biogeographical distribution of tree species-abundance conformes to Preston's log-normal pattern, and is in accordance with the findings in both tropical rainforests and estuarine forests;(2) the climatic factors related to tree communities in mass islands are similar to that of the subtropical zone, including the major species of evergreen needle-leaf, broad-leaf and deciduous broad-leaf forests. | 19 | Constructing Pd-N interactions in Pd/g-C_(3)N_(4)to improve the charge dynamics for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen evolution显示文摘The formation of chemical bonds between metal ions and their supports is an effective strategy to achieve good catalytic activity.However,both the synthesis of active metal species on a support and control of their coordination environment are still challenging.Here,we show the use of an organic compound to produce tubular carbon nitride(TCN)as a support for Pd nanoparticles(NPs),creating a composite material(NP-Pd-TCN).It was found that Pd ions preferentially bind with the electron-rich N atoms of TCN,leading to strong metal-support interactions that benefit charge transfer from g-C_(3)N_(4)to Pd.X-ray absorption spectroscopy further revealed that the metal-support interactions resulted in the formation of Pd-N bonds,which are responsible for the improvement in the charge dynamics as evidenced by the results from various techniques including photoluminescence(PL)spectroscopy,photocurrent measurements,and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS).Owing to the good dynamical properties,NP-Pd-TCN was used for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution under visible-light irradiation(λ>420 nm)and an excellent evolution rate of~381μmol·h^(-1)(0.02 g of the photocatalyst)was attained.This work aims to promote a strategy to synthesize efficient photocatalysts for hydrogen production by controllably introducing metal nanoparticles on a support and in the meantime forming chemical bonds to achieve intimate metal-support contact. | Xudong Xiao Siying Lin Liping Zhang Huiyuan Meng Jing Zhou Qi Li Jianan Liu Panzhe Qiao Baojiang Jiang Honggang Fu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,4: | 1 |
