| 1 | 利用图像分析技术评价发酵面食品品质的研究显示文摘利用C-Cell研究两种有代表性的发酵面食——面包和馒头的瓤部纹理结构,探索以仪器分析代替感官评价的可能性.结果表明:利用C-Cell对面包芯纹理结构进行分析时所得到的某些参数之间具有显著的相关性,表征切片大小的参数与气孔数量和面积以及气孔平均延长性显著正相关;切片亮度与气孔对比度显著相关,而后者与表征瓤部纹理细腻程度的参数显著负相关;此外,气孔壁厚度、孔洞的存在以及气孔直径等参数均与面包芯的粗糙度显著相关.同样,利用C-Cell可以得到相对准确而客观的馒头内部纹理结构的优劣评价,其中,气孔对比度、气孔直径、孔壁厚度、粗糙气孔体积以及气孔延长度等均可用于馒头内部品质的评价,对小麦粉馒头加工品质的质量评价具有重要的意义. | 孙辉 Shuping Yan F. | 2 | Epidemiology of urticaria in China:a population-based study显示文摘Background:Urticaria is a common skin disease characterized by episodes of wheals,and it has a negative effect on patients’quality of life.Large-scale population-based epidemiological studies of urticaria are scarce in China.The aim of this survey was to determine the prevalence,clinical forms,and risk factors of urticaria in the Chinese population.Methods:This survey was conducted in 35 cities from 31 provinces,autonomous regions,and municipalities of China.Two to three communities in each city were selected in this investigation.Participants completed questionnaires and received dermatological examinations.We analyzed the prevalence,clinical forms,and risk factors of urticaria.Results:In total,44,875 questionnaires were distributed and 41,041 valid questionnaires were collected(17,563 male and 23,478 female participants).The lifetime prevalence of urticaria was 7.30%,with 8.26%in female and 6.34%in male individuals(P<0.05).The point prevalence of urticaria was 0.75%,with 0.79%in female and 0.71%in male individuals(P<0.05).Concomitant angioedema was found in 6.16%of patients.Adults had a higher prevalence of urticaria than adolescents and children.Living in urban areas,exposure to pollutants,an anxious or depressed psychological status,a personal and family history of allergy,thyroid diseases,and Helicobacter pylori infection were associated with a higher prevalence of urticaria.Smoking was correlated with a reduced risk of urticaria.Conclusion:This study demonstrated that the lifetime prevalence of urticaria was 7.30%and the point prevalence was 0.75%in the Chinese population;women had a higher prevalence of urticaria than men.Various factors were correlated with urticaria. | Jiaqing Li Dandan Mao Shuoshuo Liu Ping Liu Jing Tian Chenhong Xue Xiaojing Liu Ruiqun Qi Bingxue Bai Jianjun Nie Siqi Ye Yu Wang Yuye Li Qing Sun Juan Tao Shuping Guo Hong Fang Jianqin Wang Qiri Mu Quanzhong Liu Yan Ding Jianzhong Zhang | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,11: | 6 |

| 7 | Construction and Characterization of a Novel Recombinant Attenuated and Replication-Deficient Candidate Human Adenovirus Type 3 Vaccine:'Adenovirus Vaccine Within an Adenovirus Vector'显示文摘Human adenoviruses(HAd Vs)are highly contagious and result in large number of acute respiratory disease(ARD)cases with severe morbidity and mortality.Human adenovirus type 3(HAd V-3)is the most common type that causes ARD outbreaks in Asia,Europe,and the Americas.However,there is currently no vaccine approved for its general use.The hexon protein contains the main neutralizing epitopes,provoking strong and lasting immunogenicity.In this study,a novel recombinant and attenuated adenovirus vaccine candidate against HAd V-3 was constructed based on a commercially-available replication-defective HAd V-5 gene therapy and vaccine vector.The entire HAd V-3 hexon gene was integrated into the E1 region of the vector by homologous recombination using a bacterial system.The resultant recombinants expressing the HAd V-3 hexon protein were rescued in AD293 cells,identified and characterized by RT-PCR,Western blots,indirect immunofluorescence,and electron microscopy.This potential vaccine candidate had a similar replicative efficacy as the wild-type HAd V-3 strain.However,and importantly,the vaccine strain had been rendered replication-defective and was incapable of replication in A549 cells after more than twentygeneration passages in AD293 cells.This represents a significant safety feature.The mice immunized both intranasally and intramuscularly by this vaccine candidate raised significant neutralizing antibodies against HAd V-3.Therefore,this recombinant,attenuated,and safe adenovirus vaccine is a promising HAd V-3 vaccine candidate.The strategy of using a clinically approved and replication-defective HAd V-5 vector provides a novel approach to develop universal adenovirus vaccine candidates against all the other types of adenoviruses causing ARDs and perhaps other adenovirus-associated diseases. | Yuqian Yan Shuping Jing Liqiang Feng Jing Zhang Zhiwei Zeng Min Li Shan Zhao Junxian Ou Wendong Lan Wenyi Guan Xiaowei Wu Jianguo Wu Donald Seto Qiwei Zhang | 2021 | Virologica Sinica2021,36,3: | 1 |

| 16 | Changes in Climate Factors and Their Impacts on Wind Erosion Climatic Erosivity in Farming-pastoral Zone of Northern China显示文摘Climate change can affect wind erosion power and hence induce changes in wind erosion rates.In this study,the wind erosion climate factor(C-factor),proposed by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations,was used to assess the impact of changes in climate on wind erosion climatic erosivity.The Mann-Kendall test was employed to detect trends in the C-factor during the period of 1961–2017 in the farming-pastoral zone of northern China.Sensitivity analysis was used to determine the sensitivity of the C-factor to changes in key climate factors.Furthermore,a comparison of the contributions of different climate factors was carried out to understand their impact on changes in the C-factor.The results indicated that most of the surveyed region exhibited decreasing trends in wind speed at a confidence level of 90%,while maximum and minimum temperatures showed increasing trends throughout the study area.As a consequence of decreasing wind speed,the annual C-factor exhibited significant decreasing trends,with a mean slope of–0.58/yr.Seasonal analysis revealed that in most regions,the changes in the C-factor had significant decreasing trends in spring,winter,and autumn,while in more than two-thirds of the study area,no significant change trends in the C-factor were detected in summer at a confidence level of 90%.Sensitivity analysis showed that the C-factor was most sensitive to wind speed,and that the sensitivity coefficients from July to September were much higher than those in other months.Contribution analysis revealed that,for most stations,wind speed(with greater values of sensitivity coefficients)was the dominant factor in the change of C-factor,while for some stations,the minimum temperature made the most contribution to the C-factor’s change due to its dramatic changes during the study period.Although the minimum temperature sensitivity coefficient was the lowest of all the sensitivity coefficients,it is urgent to evaluate the expected impact of minimum temperature due to its possible changes in the future. | YUE Shuping YAN Yechao ZHANG Shuwen YANG Jiuchun | 2022 | Chinese Geographical Science2022,32,4: | 0 |
| 17 | Facile discovery of red blood cell deformation and compromised membrane/skeleton assembly in Prader—Willi syndrome显示文摘Prader—Willi syndrome(PWS)is a rare congenital disease with genetic alterations in chromosome 15.Although genetic disorders and DNA methylation abnormalities involved in PWS have been investigated to a significant degree,other anomalies such as those in erythrocytes may occur and these have not been clearly elucidated.In the present study,we uncovered slight anemia in children with PWS that was associated with increased red blood cell(RBC)distribution width(RDW)and contrarily reduced hematocrit(HCT)values.Intriguingly,the increased ratio in RDW to HCT allowed sufficient differentiation between the PWS patients from the healthy controls and,importantly,with individuals exhibiting conventional obesity.Further morphologic examinations revealed a significant deformity in erythrocytes and mild hemolysis in PWS patients.Comprehensive mechanistic investigations unveiled compromised membrane skeletal assembly and membrane lipid composition,and revealed a reduced F-actin/G-actin ratio in PWS patients.We ascribed these phenotypic changes in erythrocytes to the observed genetic defects,including DNA methylation abnormalities.Our collective data allowed us to uncover RBC deformation in children with PWS,and this may constitute an auxiliary indicator of PWS in early childhood. | Yashuang Yang Guimei Li Yanzhou Wang Yan Sun Chao Xu Zhen Wei Shuping Zhang Ling Gao Sijin Liu Jiajun Zhao | 2022 | Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,6: | 0 |
| 18 | Effects of traditional Chinese medicine on treatment outcomes in severe COVID-19 patients:a single-centre study显示文摘As the search for effective treatments for COVID-19 continues,the high mortality rate among critically ill patients in Intensive Care Units(ICU)presents a profound challenge.This study explores the potential benefits of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)as a supplementary treatment for severe COVID-19.A total of 110 critically ill COVID-19 patients at the Intensive Care Unit(ICU)of Vulcan Hill Hospital between Feb.,2020,and April,2020(Wuhan,China)participated in this observational study.All patients received standard supportive care protocols,with a subset of 81 also receiving TCM as an adjunct treatment.Clinical characteristics during the treatment period and the clinical outcome of each patient were closely monitored and analysed.Our findings indicated that the TCM group exhibited a significantly lower mortality rate compared with the non-TCM group(16 of 81 vs 24 of 29;0.3 vs 2.3 person/month).In the adjusted Cox proportional hazards models,TCM treatment was associated with improved survival odds(P<0.001).Furthermore,the analysis also revealed that TCM treatment could partially mitigate inflammatory responses,as evidenced by the reduced levels of proinflammatory cytokines,and contribute to the recovery of multiple organic functions,thereby potentially increasing the survival rate of critically ill COVID-19 patients. | XIAO Yongjiu LI Binbin LIU Chang HUANG Xiuyu MA Ling QIAN Zhirong ZHANG Xiaopeng ZHANG Qian LI Dunqing CAI Xiaoqing YAN Xiangyong LUO Shuping XIANG Dawei XIAO Kun | 2024 | Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2024,22,1: | 0 |

| 20 | Regulatory Effects of Zuogui Pill on Apoptosis of Follicles in Rats Injured by 60Co-γRays Based on PI3K/Akt/m TOR Signaling Pathway显示文摘[Objectives]To explore the protective effects of Zuogui Pill on ^(60)Co-γ-ray-induced premature aging of rats based on phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B/mammalian target of rapamycin(PI3K/Akt/mTOR)signaling pathway.[Methods]Sixty sexually mature female SD rats were irradiated with ^(60)Co-γ-ray(6.0 Gy,LD 40)for 24 h at one time.These rats were randomly divided into model group,Progynova group[0.18(g·kg)/d],Progynova[0.09(g·kg)/d]+Zuogui Pill high dose[23.625(g·kg)/d)]group,Zuogui Pill high dose[23.625(g·kg)/d)]group,Zuogui Pill medium dose[9.45(g·kg)/d)]group and Zuogui Pill low dose[4.725(g·kg)/d]group.The administration(once a day)lasted 21 d.The rat serum[follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH)and estradiol(E_(2))]were detected by Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The morphological changes of ovary were observed by hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining.The apoptosis rate of granulosa cells was detected by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase(TdT)-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling(TUNEL).The protein expression of phosphorylated(p)-PI3K,p-Akt,p-mTOR,B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2),and Bcl-2-associated X protein(Bax)in ovarian tissues were detected by Western blot.[Results]Compared with the normal group,the model group showed significant increase in the serum FSH(P<0.01),significant decrease in serum E_(2)(P<0.05),and decrease in the number of early follicles and luteum in the ovary(P<0.01).Besides,the apoptosis rate of granulosa cells increased significantly(P<0.01);the expression of p-PI3K,p-Akt,p-mTOR and Bcl-2 in ovarian tissue decreased significantly,while the expression of Bax increased significantly(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the number of early follicles in the ovary increased and the apoptosis rate of granulosa cells decreased after intervention in each administration group.In addition,the protein expressions of p-PI3K,p-Akt,p-mTOR and Bcl-2 increased,while the expression of Bax decreased,especially in Progynova+Zuogui Pill high dose group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05,P<0.01).[Conclusions]Zuogui Pill may protect the radiation-injured ovary through activating the expression of PI3K/Akt/mTOR protein in ovarian tissue,increasing the amount of Bcl-2 protein and inhibiting the expression of Bax protein. | Fenqin ZHAO Mingxia AN Xiaonan DING Jieying LIU Yan ZHAO Zhihui XIE Shuping LI | 2022 | Medicinal Plant2022,13,5: | 0 |
