A High-Resolution Earth’s Gravity Field Model SGG-UGM-2 from GOCE,GRACE,Satellite Altimetry, and EGM2008显示文摘This paper focuses on estimating a new high-resolution Earth’s gravity field model named SGG-UGM-2 from satellite gravimetry, satellite altimetry, and Earth Gravitational Model 2008(EGM2008)-derived gravity data based on the theory of the ellipsoidal harmonic analysis and coefficient transformation(EHA-CT).We first derive the related formulas of the EHA-CT method, which is used for computing the spherical harmonic coefficients from grid area-mean and point gravity anomalies on the ellipsoid. The derived formulas are successfully evaluated based on numerical experiments. Then, based on the derived least-squares formulas of the EHA-CT method,we develop the new model SGG-UGM-2 up to degree 2190 and order 2159 by combining the observations of the Gravity Field and Steady-State Ocean Circulation Explorer(GOCE),the normal equation of the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment(GRACE),marine gravity data derived from satellite altimetry data, and EGM2008-derived continental gravity data. The coefficients of degrees 251–2159 are estimated by solving the block-diagonal form normal equations of surface gravity anomalies(including the marine gravity data). The coefficients of degrees 2–250 are determined by combining the normal equations of satellite observations and surface gravity anomalies. The variance component estimation technique is used to estimate the relative weights of different observations. Finally, global positioning system(GPS)/leveling data in the mainland of China and the United States are used to validate SGG-UGM-2 together with other models, such as European improved gravity model of the earth by new techniques(EIGEN)-6C4,GECO,EGM2008,and SGG-UGM-1(the predecessor of SGG-UGM-2).Compared to other models, the model SGG-UGM-2 shows a promising performance in the GPS/leveling validation. All GOCE-related models have similar performances both in the mainland of China and the United States, and better performances than that of EGM2008 in the mainland of China.Due to the contribution of GRACE data and the new marine gravity anomalies,SGG-UGM-2 is slightly better than SGG-UGM-1 both in the mainland of China and the United States. | Wei Liang Jiancheng Li Xinyu Xu Shengjun Zhang Yongqi Zhao | 2020 | Engineering2020,6,8: | 8
Benzoate anions-intercalated NiFe-layered double hydroxide nanosheet array with enhanced stability for electrochemical seawater oxidation显示文摘Seawater electrolysis is an extremely attractive approach for harvesting clean hydrogen energy, but detrimental chlorine species(i.e.,chloride and hypochlorite)cause severe corrosion at the anode. Here,we report our recent finding that benzoate anions-intercalated NiFe-layered double hydroxide nanosheet on carbon cloth(BZ-NiFe-LDH/CC)behaves as a highly efficient and durable monolithic catalyst for alkaline seawater oxidation, affords enlarged interlayer spacing of LDH,inhibits chlorine(electro)chemistry, and alleviates local pH drop of the electrode. It only needs an overpotential of 320 mV to reach a current density of 500 mA·cm^(−2)in 1 M KOH.In contrast to the fast activity decay of NiFe-LDH/CC counterpart during long-term electrolysis,BZ-NiFe-LDH/CC achieves stable 100-h electrolysis at an industrial-level current density of 500 mA·cm^(−2)in alkaline seawater.Operando Raman spectroscopy studies further identify structural changes of disorderedδ(NiIII-O)during the seawater oxidation process. | Longcheng Zhang Jie Liang Luchao Yue Kai Dong Jun Li Donglin Zhao Zerong Li Shengjun Sun Yongsong Luo Qian Liu Guanwei Cui Abdulmohsen Ali Alshehri Xiaodong Guo Xuping Sun | 2022 | Nano Research Energy2022,1,3: | 6
Optimization of tensile strength for new type acetone-urea-formaldehyde furan resin using uniform design显示文摘In this study, the 24 h tensile strength of new type acetone-urea-formaldehyde furan resin (nitrogen content 3%) was investigated by uniform design optimization.Four independent variables such as acetone:formaldehyde molar ratio (mol/mol),solution pH value, reaction temperature (℃) and reaction time (min) were considered in the experiments.U13(134) uniform design was employed and the equation of 24 h tensile strength model was obtained after 13 experimentations. The 24 h tensile strength was optimized by applying single factor experiments and stepwise non-linear regression analysis.Minitab (Minitab 15 trial version) and MATLAB (R2010a trial version) were used for data analysis. The t-value and p-value indicate that the major impact factors include the interaction effect of solution pH value and reaction temperature (X2X3),the linear terms of acetone:formaldehyde molar ratio (X1),reaction time (X4) followed by the square effects of acetone/formaldehyde molar ratio (X1X1).The optimized results were achieved with the acetone:formaldehyde molar ratio (mol/mol) at 3:1,solution pH value at 6.0,reaction temperature at 70℃,and reaction time at 140 min, respectively. This method can not only significantly reduce the number and cost of the tests, but also provide a good experimental design strategy for the development of furan resin. The investigation shows that the predicted results of 24 h tensile strength are consistent well with the experimental ones. | Lin Shengjun Zhao Wei Li Yuancai Tong Siyi Wang Wenqing | 2011 | China Foundry2011,8,1: | 5
The Tibetan Plateau Surface–Atmosphere Coupling System and Its Weather and Climate Effects: The Third Tibetan Plateau Atmospheric Science Experiment显示文摘The Tibetan Plateau(TP) is a key area affecting forecasts of weather and climate in China and occurrences of extreme weather and climate events over the world. The China Meteorological Administration, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly initiated the Third Tibetan Plateau Atmospheric Science Experiment(TIPEX-Ⅲ) in 2013, with an 8–10-yr implementation plan. Since its preliminary field measurements conducted in 2013, routine automatic sounding systems have been deployed at Shiquanhe, Gaize, and Shenzha stations in western TP, where no routine sounding observations were available previously. The observational networks for soil temperature and soil moisture in the central and western TP have also been established. Meanwhile, the plateau-scale and regional-scale boundary layer observations, cloud–precipitation microphysical observations with multiple radars and aircraft campaigns, and tropospheric–stratospheric air composition observations at multiple sites, were performed. The results so far show that the turbulent heat exchange coefficient and sensible heat flux are remarkably lower than the earlier estimations at grassland, meadow, and bare soil surfaces of the central and western TP. Climatologically, cumulus clouds over the main body of the TP might develop locally instead of originating from the cumulus clouds that propagate northward from South Asia. The TIPEX-Ⅲ observations up to now also reveal diurnal variations, macro-and microphysical characteristics, and water-phase transition mechanisms, of cumulus clouds at Naqu station. Moreover, TIPEX-Ⅲ related studies have proposed a maintenance mechanism responsible for the Asian 'atmospheric water tower' and demonstrated the effects of the TP heating anomalies on African, Asian, and North American climates. Additionally, numerical modeling studies show that the Γ distribution of raindrop size is more suitable for depicting the TP raindrop characteristics compared to the M–P distribution, the overestimation of sensible heat flux can be reduced via modifying the heat transfer parameterization over the TP, and considering climatic signals in some key areas of the TP can improve the skill for rainfall forecast in the central and eastern parts of China. Furthermore, the TIPEX-Ⅲ has been promoting the technology in processing surface observations, soundings, and radar observations, improving the quality of satellite retrieved soil moisture and atmospheric water vapor content products as well as high-resolution gauge–radar–satellite merged rainfall products, and facilitating the meteorological monitoring, forecasting, and data sharing operations. | Ping ZHAO Yueqing LI Xueliang GUO Xiangde XU Yimin LIU Shihao TANG Wenming XIAO Chunxiang SHI Yaoming MA Xing YU Huizhi LIU La JIA Yun CHEN Yanju LIU Jian LI Dabiao LUO Yunchang CAO Xiangdong ZHENG Junming CHEN An XIAO Fang YUAN Donghui CHEN Yang PANG Zhiqun HU Shengjun ZHANG Lixin DONG Juyang HU Shuai HAN Xiuji ZHOU | 2019 | Journal of Meteorological Research2019,33,3: | 4
Tranexamic acid for acute intracerebral haemorrhage growth based on imaging assessment (TRAIGE): a multicentre, randomised, placebo- controlled trial显示文摘Background Studies show tranexamic acid can reduce the risk of death and early neurological deterioration after intracranial haemorrhage. We aimed to assess whether tranexamic acid reduces haematoma expansion and improves outcome in intracerebral haemorrhage patients susceptible to haemorrhage expansion. Methods We did a prospective,double-blind,randomised,placebo-controlled trial at 10 stroke centres in China.Acute supratentorial intracerebral haemorrhage patients were eligible if they had indication of haemorrhage expansion on admission imaging(eg,spot sign, black hole sign or blend sign),and were treatable within 8 hours of symptom onset.Patients were randomly assigned(1:1)to receive either tranexamic acid or a matching placebo. The primary outcome was intracerebral haematoma growth(>33% relative or>6 mL absolute)at 24 hours.Clinical outcomes were assessed at 90 days. Results Of the 171 included patients,124(72.5%)were male, and the mean age was 55.9±11.6 years.89 patients received tranexamic acid and 82 received placebo. The primary outcome did not differ significantly between the groups:36(40.4%)patients in the tranexamic acid group and 34(41.5%)patients in the placebo group had intracranial haemorrhage growth(OR 0.96,95% CI 0.52 to 1.77,p=0.89).The proportion of death was lower in the tranexamic acid treatment group than placebo group(8.1%vs 10.0%),but there were no significant differences in secondary outcomes including absolute intracranial haemorrhage growth, death and dependency. Conclusions Among patients susceptible to haemorrhage expansion treated within 8 hours of stroke onset, tranexamic acid did not significantly prevent intracerebral haemorrhage growth.Larger studies are needed to assess safety and efficacy of tranexamic acid in intracerebral haemorrhage patients. | Jingyi Liu Ximing Nie Hongqiu Gu Qi Zhou Haixin Sun Ying Tan Dacheng Liu Lina Zheng Jiahui Zhao Yan Wang Yibin Cao Haomeng Zhu Yunpeng Zhang Lijin Yi Yuehua Pu Miao Wen Zhonghua Yang Shengjun Sun Wenzhi Wang Xingquan Zhao Liping Liu Yongjun Wang | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2: | 3
Intrauterine growth restriction alters nutrient metabolism in the intestine of porcine offspring显示文摘Background:Intrauterine growth restriction(IUGR)has negative impacts on the postnatal survival, growth and development of humans and animals, with not only on newborns but also adulthood. However, the characteristics for nutrient digestion and absorption in IUGR offspring are still largely unknown. Therefore, the normal birth weight(NBW)and IUGR growing pigs were used in this study to investigate their differences in nutrient utilization, with an expectition for further nutritional optimization of the IUGR offspring during their later life. Methods:Twelve IUGR and 12 NBW growing pigs were fitted with catheters in their portal vein to measure blood flow rate as well as nutrients and metabolites in plasma. The digestibilities of nutrients in different intestinal segments, and bacterial fermentation in the large intestine were examined to reveal the characteristics of nutrients utilization in IUGR versus NBW pigs. Results:The rate of portal venous blood flow did not differ beween IUGR and NBW pigs.Plasma concentrations of total cholesterol, triglycerides and glucose were much lower but those of urea were higher in the portal vein of IUGR pigs, compared with the NBW pigs. The ileal digestibility of dry matter, gross energy and starch were lower in IUGR pigs than in NBW pigs.IUGR increased hindgut microbial diversity and bacterial fermentation activity in the caecum. In vitro cross-fermentation of ileal digesta by caecal microbes of NBW and IUGR pigs showed that gas production was much higher for IUGR ileal digesta regardless of the source of caecal inocula. Conclusion:IUGR impairs the nutrient digestion and absorption in small intestine, reduces caecal microbial diversity and promotes bacterial fermentation in the large intestine during the growing phase. These findings aid in our understanding of nutrient metabolism in IUGR pigs and provide the basis for future nutritional interventions. | Tiantian Li Shimeng Huang Long Lei Shiyu Tao Yi Xiong Guoyao Wu Jie Hu Xiongkun Yuan Shengjun Zhao Bin Zuo Hongjian Yang Yingping Xiao Gang Lin Junjun Wang | 2021 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2021,12,2: | 2

Whole-genome resequencing of the wheat A subgenome progenitor Triticum urartu provides insights into its demographic history and geographic adaptation显示文摘Triticum urartu is the progenitor of the A subgenome in tetraploid and hexaploid wheat.Uncovering the landscape of genetic variations in T.urartu will help us understand the evolutionary and polyploid characteristics of wheat. Here,we investigated the population genomics of T.urartu by genome-wide sequencing of 59 representative accessions collected around the world.A total of 42.2 million highquality single-nucleotide polymorphisms and 3 million insertions and deletions were obtained by mapping reads to the reference genome. The ancient T.urartu population experienced a significant reduction in effective population size(Ne)from3000000 to140000 and subsequently split into eastern Mediterranean coastal and Mesopotamian-Transcaucasian populations during the Younger Dryas period.A map of allelic drift paths displayed splits and mixtures between different geographic groups, and a strong genetic drift towards hexaploid wheat was also observed, indicating that the direct donor of the A subgenome originated from northwestern Syria.Genetic changes were revealed between the eastern Mediterranean coastal and Mesopotamian-Transcaucasian populations in genes orthologous to those regulating plant development and stress responses.A genome-wide association study identified two single-nucleotide polymorphisms in the exonic regions of the SEMI-DWARF 37 ortholog that corresponded to the different T.urartu ecotype groups. Our study provides novel insights into the origin and genetic legacy of the A subgenome in polyploid wheat and contributes a gene repertoire for genomicsenabled improvements in wheat breeding. | Xin Wang Yafei Hu Weiming He Kang Yu Chi Zhang Yiwen Li Wenlong Yang Jiazhu Sun Xin Li Fengya Zheng Shengjun Zhou Lingrang Kong Hongqing Ling Shancen Zhao Dongcheng Liu Aimin Zhang | 2022 | Plant Communications2022,3,5: | 1

A combined pig model to determine the net absorption of volatile fatty acids in the large intestine under different levels of crude fiber显示文摘Background:This study aimed to develop a combined model to quantify the net absorption of volatile fatty acids(VFA)in the large intestine(LI)of pigs. Methods:Fifteen female growing pigs(Duroc×Large White×Landrace)were ranked by body weight(30±2.1 kg)on day 0 and assigned to one of three treatments, namely the basal diet containing different crude fiber(CF)levels(LCF:3.0%CF,MCF:4.5%CF,and HCF:6.0%CF).The pigs were implanted with the terminal ileum fistula and the cannulation of the ileal mesenteric vein(IMV),portal vein(PV),and left femoral artery(LFA)from days 6 to 7.[13 C]-Labeled VFA and P-aminohippuric acid were constantly perfused into the terminal ileum fistula and the cannulation of the IMV(day 15),respectively.Blood samples were collected from the PV and the LFA during perfusion(5 h),and LI samples were collected. Results:The net flux of[12 C]-acetic acid in the PV was greater for LCF versus MCF(p=0.045),but no difference was observed in the net flux of[12 C]-propionic acid(p=0.505)and[12 C]-butyric acid(p=0.35)in the PV among treatments. The deposition of[12 C]-acetic acid in the LI was greater for LCF versus MCF(p=0.014),whereas the deposition of[12 C]-propionic acid(p=0.007)and[12 C]-butyric acid(p=0.037)in the LI was greater for LCF versus HCF.Conclusions:In conclusion, this pig model was found conducive to study the net absorption of VFAs in the LI,and LCF had more net absorption of VFAs in the LI than MCF and HCF. | Shengjun Zhao Liangkang Lv Taotao Wu Zhi Feng Qiang Li Long Lei Zhengya Liu Hui Zhang Ying Ren | 2023 | Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2023,6,4: | 0
A new inter‑system double‑difference RTK model applicable to both overlapping and non‑overlapping signal frequencies显示文摘Aiming at the problem that the traditional inter-system double-difference model is not suitable for non-overlapping signal frequencies,we propose a new inter-system double-difference model with single difference ambiguity estimation, which can be applied for both overlapping and non-overlapping signal frequencies. The single difference ambiguities of all satellites and Differential Inter-System Biases(DISB)are first estimated, and the intra-system double difference ambiguities, which have integer characteristics, are then fixed. After the ambiguities are successfully fixed,high-precision coordinates and DISB can be obtained with a constructed transformation matrix. The model effectively avoids the DISB parameter filtering discontinuity caused by the reference satellite transformation and the low precision of the reference satellite single difference ambiguity calculated with the code.A zero-baseline using multiple types of receivers is selected to verify the stability of the estimated DISB.Three baselines with different lengths are selected to assess the positioning performance of the model. The ionospheric-fixed and ionospheric-float models are used for short and medium-long baselines, respectively. The results show that the Differential Inter-System Code Biases(DISCB)and Differential Inter-System Phase Biases(DISPB)have good stability regardless of the receivers type and the signal frequency used and can be calibrated to enhance the strength of the positioning model. The positioning results with three baselines of different lengths show that the proposed inter-system double-difference model can improve the positioning accuracy by 6–22%compared with the intra-system double-difference model which selects the reference satellite independently for each system. The Time to First Fix(TTFF)of the two medium-long baselines is reduced by 30%and 29%,respectively. | Wenhao Zhao Genyou Liu Ming Gao Bo Zhang Shengjun Hu Minghui Lyu | 2023 | Satellite Navigation2023,4,3: | 0
Predictor Selection for CNN-based Statistical Downscaling of Monthly Precipitation显示文摘Convolutional neural networks(CNNs) have been widely studied and found to obtain favorable results in statistical downscaling to derive high-resolution climate variables from large-scale coarse general circulation models(GCMs).However, there is a lack of research exploring the predictor selection for CNN modeling. This paper presents an effective and efficient greedy elimination algorithm to address this problem. The algorithm has three main steps: predictor importance attribution, predictor removal, and CNN retraining, which are performed sequentially and iteratively. The importance of individual predictors is measured by a gradient-based importance metric computed by a CNN backpropagation technique, which was initially proposed for CNN interpretation. The algorithm is tested on the CNN-based statistical downscaling of monthly precipitation with 20 candidate predictors and compared with a correlation analysisbased approach. Linear models are implemented as benchmarks. The experiments illustrate that the predictor selection solution can reduce the number of input predictors by more than half, improve the accuracy of both linear and CNN models, and outperform the correlation analysis method. Although the RMSE(root-mean-square error) is reduced by only 0.8%,only 9 out of 20 predictors are used to build the CNN, and the FLOPs(Floating Point Operations) decrease by 20.4%. The results imply that the algorithm can find subset predictors that correlate more to the monthly precipitation of the target area and seasons in a nonlinear way. It is worth mentioning that the algorithm is compatible with other CNN models with stacked variables as input and has the potential for nonlinear correlation predictor selection. | Dangfu YANG Shengjun LIU Yamin HU Xinru LIU Jiehong XIE Liang ZHAO | 2023 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2023,40,6: | 0
Reaction Mechanism of H2-Assisted C3H6-SCR over Ag-CexZr Catalyst as Investigated by In situ FTIR显示文摘A series of silver-doped cerium zirconium oxide(Ag-CevZr)samples was synthesized successfully for selective catalytic reduction of nitric oxide(NO)with hydrogen and propene(H2/C3H6-SCR)under excess oxygen condition. The catalytic activity test proved that Ag-Ce0.4Zr exhibited the best C3H6-SCR activity.Hydrogen(H2)significantly enlianced NO conversion and widened the temperature window.Multi-technology characterizations were conducted to ascertain the properties of fabricated catalysts including X-ray diflraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectrometry(FTIR),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and H2 temperature programmed reduction(H2-TPR).In situ FTIR results demonstrated that various types of nitrates and chelating nitrite were generated on Ag-CexZr after introduction of NO.Besides, adding H2 could increase the concentration of bidentate nitrate and chelated bidentate nitrate dramatically, especially for Ce0.4Zr catalyst.Transient reaction between pre-adsorbing NO and C3H/C3H6+H2 illuminated that the most active intermediate was chelating nitrite, which was promoted significantly by H2 participation.Furthermore, adding H2 improved the formation of organo-nitro(R-N02),which was the key intennediate in C3H6-SCR.The reaction mechanism over Ag-CexZr catalysts was proposed at 200℃ as follows:nitric oxide(NO)+pr opene(C 3H6)+hy dr ogen(H2)+oxy gen(O2)→chelating nitrite (N O2-)+acry late-type species(CxHyOz)→organo-nitro(R-NO2)→isocyanate(-NCO)+cyanide(—CN)→nitrogen(N2). | DUAN Jun ZHAO Ling GAO Shengjun ZHANG Yu | 2020 | Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,5: | 0
Insights into microbiota community dynamics and flavor development mechanism during golden pomfret(Trachinotus ovatus)fermentation based on single-molecule real-time sequencing and molecular networking analysis显示文摘Popular fermented golden pomfret(Trachinotus ovatus)is prepared via spontaneous fermentation;however, the mechanisms underlying the regulation of its flavor development remain unclear. This study shows the roles of the complex microbiota and the dynamic changes in microbial community and flavor compounds during fish fermentation.Single-molecule real-time sequencing and molecular networking analysis revealed the correlations among different microbial genera and the relationships between microbial taxa and volatile compounds.Mechanisms underlying flavor development were also elucidated via KEGG based functional annotations.Clostridium,Shewanella, and Staphylococcus were the dominant microbial genera.Forty-nine volatile compounds were detected in the fermented fish samples, with thirteen identified as characteristic volatile compounds(ROAV>1).Volatile profiles resulted from the interactions among the microorganisms and derived enzymes, with the main metabolic pathways being amino acid biosynthesis/metabolism,carbon metabolism, and glycolysis/gluconeogenesis.This study demonstrated the approaches for distinguishing key microbiota associated with volatile compounds and monitoring the industrial production of high-quality fermented fish products. | Yueqi Wang Qian Chen Huan Xiang Dongxiao Sun-Waterhouse Shengjun Chen Yongqiang Zhao Laihao Li Yanyan Wu | 2024 | Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,1: | 0
