3A novel graphene oxide-carbon nanotubes anchored α-FeOOH hybrid activated persulfate system for enhanced degradation of Orange Ⅱ显示文摘Persulfate activation has been applied as one of the efficient advanced oxidation processes(AOPs) to remediate polluted environments. In this study, a novel α-FeOOH anchored by graphene oxide(GO)-carbon nanotubes(CNTs) aerogel(α-FeOOH@GCA) nanocomposite activated persulfate system(α-FeOOH@GCA + K2S2O8) was applied for decolorization of Orange Ⅱ(OⅡ). The decolorization of OⅡ was remarkably enhanced to a level of ~ 99% in this system compared with that of pristine α-FeOOH(~ 44%) or GO-CNTs(~18%). The enhanced catalytic activity of α-FeOOH@GCA was due to the formation of a heterojunction byα-FeOOH and GO-CNTs as confirmed by the presence of Fe–O–C chemical bonds. The degradation intermediates of OⅡ were comprehensively identified. The proposed degradation pathway of OⅡ begins with the destruction of the conjugated structures of OⅡ by the dominant reactive oxygen species, surface-bound SO4·-. The decolorization efficiency of OⅡ by the α-FeOOH@GCA activated persulfate system decreased from the first to third cycle of recycling. Ultraviolet(UV) irradiation or introduction of a small amount of Fe2+ could restore the activation of this system. 4Understanding the spatial representativeness of air quality monitoring network and its application to PM_(2.5)in the China's Mainland显示文摘Air pollution has seriously endangered human health and the natural ecosystem during the last decades.Air quality monitoring stations(AQMS)have played a critical role in providing valuable data sets for recording regional air pollutants.The spatial representativeness of AQMS is a critical parameter when choosing the location of stations and assessing effects on the population to long-term exposure to air pollution.In this paper,we proposed a methodological framework for assessing the spatial representativeness of the regional air quality monitoring network and applied it to ground-based PM_(2.5)observation in the mainland of China.Weighted multidimensional Euclidean distance between each pixel and the stations was used to determine the representativeness of the existing monitoring network.In addition,the K-means clustering method was adopted to improve the spatial representativeness of the existing AQMS.The results showed that there were obvious differences among the representative area of 1820 stations in the mainland of China.The monitoring stations could well represent the PM_(2.5)spatial distribution of the entire region,and the effectively represented area(i.e.the area where the Euclidean distance between the pixels and the stations was lower than the average value)accounted for 67.32%of the total area and covered 93.12%of the population.Forty additional stations were identified in the Northwest,North China,and Northeast regions,which could improve the spatial representativeness by 14.31%.Ling Su Chanchan Gao Xiaoli Ren Fengying Zhang Shanshan Cao Shiqing Zhang Tida Chen Mengqing Liu Bingchuan Ni Min Liu 2022Geoscience Frontiers2022,13,3:3
5Cryo-EM structures of human m^(6)A writer complexes显示文摘N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)is the most abundant ribonucleotide modification among eukaryotic messenger RNAs.The m^(6)A“writer”consists of the catalytic subunit m^(6)A-METTL complex(MAC)and the regulatory subunit m^(6)A-METTL-associated complex(MACOM),the latter being essential for enzymatic activity.Here,we report the cryo-electron microscopy(cryo-EM)structures of MACOM at a 3.0-Åresolution,uncovering that WTAP and VIRMA form the core structure of MACOM and that ZC3H13 stretches the conformation by binding VIRMA.Furthermore,the 4.4-Åresolution cryo-EM map of the MACOM–MAC complex,combined with crosslinking mass spectrometry and GST pull-down analysis,elucidates a plausible model of the m^(6)A writer complex,in which MACOM binds to MAC mainly through WTAP and METTL3 interactions.In combination with in vitro RNA substrate binding and m^(6)A methyltransferase activity assays,our results illustrate the molecular basis of how MACOM assembles and interacts with MAC to form an active m^(6)A writer complex.Shichen Su Shanshan Li Ting Deng Minsong Gao Yue Yin Baixing Wu Chao Peng Jianzhao Liu Jinbiao Ma Kaiming Zhang 2022Cell Research2022,32,11:3

10An improved bearing fault detection strategy based on artificial bee colony algorithm显示文摘The operating state of bearing affects the performance of rotating machinery;thus,how to accurately extract features from the original vibration signals and recognise the faulty parts as early as possible is very critical.In this study,the one‐dimensional ternary model which has been proved to be an effective statistical method in feature selection is introduced and shapelet transformation is proposed to calculate the parameter of one‐dimensional ternary model that is usually selected by trial and error.Then XGBoost is used to recognise the faults from the obtained features,and artificial bee colony algorithm(ABC)is introduced to optimise the parameters of XGBoost.Moreover,for improving the performance of intelligent algorithm,an improved strategy where the evolution is guided by the probability that the optimal solution appears in certain solution space is proposed.The experimental results based on the failure vibration signal samples show that the average accuracy of fault signal recognition can reach 97%,which is much higher than the ones corresponding to traditional extraction strategies.And with the help of improved ABC algorithm,the performance of XGBoost classifier could be optimised;the accuracy could be improved from 97.02%to 98.60%compared with the traditional classification strategy.Haiquan Wang Wenxuan Yue Shengjun Wen Xiaobin Xu Hans-Dietrich Haasis Menghao Su Ping liu Shanshan Zhang Panpan Du 2022CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology2022,7,4:1

12Application of SrAl_2O_4:Eu^(2+) Down–conversion Powder in Flexible Dye–Sensitized Solar Cells显示文摘TiO2 nanotube(NT) was firstly prepared on titanium foil by an electrochemical anodization method, and then modified via subsequent deposition of a layer of SrAl2O4:Eu2+ phosphor embedded within TiO2 nanoparticles to fabricate photoanodes of dye–sensitized solar cells(DSSCs). The effect of doping down–conversion Sr Al2O4:Eu2+ phosphor in DSSCs was investigated. SrAl2O4:Eu2+ can effectively convert ultraviolet light to visible light within the range of the dye commonly used in DSSC to increase the photocurrent of DSSC, and enhance the open–circuit voltage by a p–type doping effect. 13A new application of multiwavelets:Discrimination of marine algae taxonomic groups with emission-excitation matrix fluorescence显示文摘The 3D fluorescence discrimination of phytoplankton classes was investigated by SA4 multiwavelet,GHM multiwavelet,and coifman-2(coif2) wavelet analysis.Belonging to 35 genera of 7 major phytoplankton divisions in the inshore area of China Sea,Single species cultures of 51 phytoplankton species were employed.The second scale vector (Ca2) of SA4,Ca2 of GHM and the third scale vector (Ca3) of coif2 were selected as feature spectra by Bayesian discriminate analysis (BDA).The reference spectra were obtained via hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA).With average high correct discrimination ratios (CDRs),reference spectra were representative to phytoplankton species.For one-algae samples,the average CDRs were 95.6% at genus level and 86.7% at division level.For the laboratory mixed samples,the average CDRs (one division accounted for 25%,75% or 100% of the total biomass) were 86.6%,91.4% and 100% at division level.Moreover,the average CDRs of the dominant species (accounted for 75%) was 79.8% at genus level.Results for the in situ samples were coincided with the microscopic ones at division level with the relative contents of 54.3%-96.5%.The fluorometric discriminating technique was further tested during the cruise in Bohai Sea recently.ZHANG Cui SU RongGuo ZHANG ShanShan SONG ZhiJie WANG XiuLin 2013Science China Chemistry2013,56,1:1

15Single-atom Pt promoted Mo_(2)C for electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Hydrogen generation from electrochemical water splitting powered by renewable energy is important to the sustainable society,but the prohibitive cost of current Pt electrocatalyst has impeded the large-scale production of hydrogen by water electrolysis.In this contribution,a new low-Pt electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) has been fabricated by a facile one-pot synthesis approach,in which Pt^(2+)cations and phosphomolybdic acid confined in the metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) were submitted to pyrolysis to yield Pt single atoms dispersed into Mo_(2)C nanocrystals in 3 D porous carbon matrix.The as-synthesized Pt_(1)-Mo_(2)C-C catalyst with Pt content of only 0.7 wt% exhibited remarkably enhanced activity for HER in 1 M KOH,with overpotential at 10 mA/cm^(2) lowered from 211 mV to 155 mV and 7-fold higher mass activity(7.14 A/mgpt) than the benchmark 20 wt% Pt/C.The promoted activity can be attributed to the electronic interaction between Pt single atoms and Mo2C surface,which not only improved water activation but also strengthened hydrogen adsorption,as indicated by FTIR and microcalorimetric characterizations.Shanshan Niu Ji Yang Haifeng Qi Yang Su Zhiyu Wang Jieshan Qiu Aiqin Wang Tao Zhang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,6:1

17Supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation method to treat vertebrobasilar dolichoectasia with posterior circulatory watershed infarction:a case report of two patients显示文摘Vertebrobasilar dolichoectasia(VBD),a rare posterior circulation vascular variant disease,is an important risk factor for many acute cerebrovascular diseases.An insufficient understanding of VBD often leads to misdiagnose.Two cases of VBD that were initially diagnosed as posterior circulation watershed infarction are reported here.Absence of common causes of stroke including hypoperfusion,blood system diseases,carotid and aortic dissection,and eosinophil elevation,the symptoms of the 2 patients met the diagnostic criteria of VBD.Both patients displayed symptoms that were in line with the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome pattern of'Qi deficiency and blood stasis'.Accordingly,they were comprehensively treated with Supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation method.The clinical manifestations of the 2 patients were remarkably improved and no recurrence of watershed infarction was found in a 1-year follow-up.A detailed medical history and laboratory examination are capable of improving diagnostic accuracy of VBD.TCM treatment based on syndrome identification might be a promising candidate for VBD management.LI He SU Wenquan LI Shanshan JI Hanrui CHENG Jiangyan CUI Fangyuan TANG Lu ZHOU Li GAO Ying DONG Xinglu 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,4:0

19Prediction of the joint impacts of sea level rise and land development on distribution patterns of mangrove communities显示文摘Mangrove distribution along shorelines shows distinct zonation patterns;thus,different communities may face various influences from sea level rise(SLR)and land use.However,long-term change predictions are usually based only on the total extent of mangroves.Few studies have revealed how SLR and land development such as agriculture,aquaculture,and urbanization jointly affect different intertidal mangrove communities.This study proposed a novel framework combining SLAMM(Sea Level Affecting Marshes Model)and the CLUE-S(Conversion of Land Use and its Effect at Small regional extent)model to assess the potential impacts on upper and lower intertidal mangrove communities.Maoweihai in Guangxi,China,was selected as the study area and the potential impacts from the squeeze effect and mangrove expansion potential were evaluated.We established three scenarios combining SLR and land use patterns to predict mangrove coverage projections by 2070.The results showed that,under a single SLR driver,the upper intertidal mangroves would be more adaptive to rapid SLR than the lower intertidal mangroves.However,under the combined influence of the two drivers,the upper intertidal mangroves would experience larger squeeze effects than the lower intertidal mangroves,with up to 80.5%of suitable habitat lost.Moreover,the expansion potential of upper intertidal mangroves would be considerably more limited than that of lower intertidal mangroves.The length of the expandable habitat patch boundary of upper intertidal mangroves only reached 1.4–1.8 km,while that of the lower intertidal mangroves reached up to99.2–111.2 km.Further,we found that aquaculture ponds and cropland are the top two land development types that could occupy suitable habitat and restrict the mangrove expansion potential.Our results highlight that timely improvement of land use policies to create available landward accommodation space for mangrove migration is essential to maintain the coverage and diversity of mangrove communities under SLR.The proposed method can be a helpful tool for adaptive mangrove conservation and management under climate change.Shanshan Liang Wenjia Hu Peiqiang Wu Jianbu Wang Shangke Su Guangcheng Chen Jianguo Du Wenhua Liu Bin Chen 2023Forest Ecosystems2023,10,2:0
