| 3 | COORDINATING PRODUCTION AND RECYCLING DECISIONS WITH STOCHASTIC DEMAND AND RETUR显示文摘In this paper, the joint production and recycling problem is investigated for a hybrid manufacturing and remanufacturing system where brand-new products are produced in the manufacturing plant and recycled products are remanufactured into as-new products in the remanufacturing facility. Both the brand-new products and remanufactured products are used to satisfy customer demands. Returns of used products that are recycled from customers are assumed to be stochastic and nonlinearly price-dependent. A mathematical model is proposed to maximize the overall profit of the system through simultaneously optimizing the production and recycling decisions, subject to two capacity constraints ? the manufacturing capacity and the remanufacturing capacity. Based on Lagrangian relaxation method, subgradient algorithm and heuristic algorithm, a solution approach is developed to solve the problem. A representative example is presented to illustrate the system, and managerial analysis indicates that the uncertainties in demand and return have much influence on the production and recycling policy. | 4 | Premature Tapetum Degeneration: a Major Cause of Abortive Pollen Development in Photoperiod Sensitive Genic Male Sterility in Rice显示文摘Photoperiod-sensitive genic male-sterile (PSGMS) rice (Oryza sativa L.), a natural mutant found in the rice cultivar Nongken 58, is very useful for the development of hybrid rice cultivars. Despite its widespread use in breeding programs, the initial stage of the abortive development of PSGMS rice and the possible cytological mechanisms of pollen abortion have not been determined. In the present study, a systematic cytological comparison of the anther development of PSGMS rice with its normal fertile counterpart is conducted. The results show that pollen abortion in PSGMS rice first occurs before the pollen mother cell (PMC) stage, and continues during the entire process of pollen development until pollen degradation. The abortive process was closely associated with the abnormal behavior of the tapetum. Although tapetum degeneration in PSGMS rice initiates already at the PMC stage, it proceeds slowly and does not complete until the breakdown of the pollen. | 5 | Comparison of extended spectrum β-lactamasesproducing Escherichia coli with non-ESBLsproducing E.coli:drug-resistance and virulence显示文摘BACKGROUND:The virulent factors of Escherichia coli(E.coli) play an important role in the process of pathopoiesis.The study aimed to compare drug-resistant genes and virulence genes between extended spectrum β-lactamases(ESBLs)-producing E.coli and non-ESBLs-producing E.coli to provide a reference for physicians in management of hospital infection.METHODS:From October 2010 to August 2011,96 drug-resistant strains of E.coli isolated were collected from the specimens in Qingdao Municipal Hospital,Qingdao,China.These bacteria strains were divided into a ESBLs-producing group and a non-ESBLs-producing group.Drug sensitivity tests were performed using the Kirby-Bauer(K-B) method.Disinfectant gene,qacEA1-sull and 8 virulence genes(CNF2,hlyA,eaeA,VT1,est,bfpA,elt,and CNF1) were tested by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).RESULTS:Among the 96 E.coli isolates,the ESBLs-producing E.coli comprised 46(47.9%)strains and the non-ESBLs-producing E.coli consisted of 50(52.1%) strains.The detection rates of multiple drug-resistant strain,qacEA1-sull,CNF2,hlyA,eaeA,VT1,est,bfpA,elt,and CNF1 in 46ESBLs-producing E.coli isolates were 89.1%,76.1%,6.5%,69.6%,69.6%,89.1%,10.9%,26.1%,8.7%,and 19.6%,respectively.In the non-ESBLs-producing E.coli strains,the positive rates of multiple drug-resistant strain,qacEA1-sull,CNF2,hlyA,eaeA,VT1,est,bfpA,elt,and CNF1 were 62.0%,80.0%,16.0%,28.0%,64.0%,38.0%,6.0%,34.0%,10.0%,and 24.0%,respectively.The difference in the detection rates of multiple drug-resistant strain,hlyA and VT1 between the ESBLs-producing E.coli strains and the non-ESBLs-producing E.coli strains was statistically significant(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:The positive rate of multiple drug-resistant strains is higher in the ESBLsproducing strains than in the non-ESBLs-producing strains.The expression of some virulence genes hlyA and VT1 varies between the ESBLs-producing strains and the non-ESBLs-producing strains.Increased awareness of clinicians and enhanced testing by laboratories are required to reduce treatment failures and prevent the spread of multiple drug-resistant strains. | Sha Li Yan Qu Dan Hu Yong-xin Shi | 2012 | World Journal of Emergency Medicine2012,3,3: | 7 |

| 7 | Uncommon EGFR mutations in a cohort of Chinese NSCLC patients and outcomes of first-line EGFR-TKIs and platinum-based chemotherapy显示文摘Objective: Data on the clinical activity of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs) in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC) and uncommon EGFR mutations remain insufficient.This study aimed to investigate the effect of first-line EGFR-TKIs or platinum-based chemotherapy in NSCLC patients with uncommon EGFR mutations.Methods: We retrospectively enrolled 504 patients with EGFR-mutant NSCLC.The clinical characteristics and treatment outcomes were collected and compared between patients with common and uncommon EGFR-mutant NSCLC.Results: Seventy patients(13.9%) harboring uncommon EGFR mutations were included.Thirty of these patients received EGFR-TKIs and 40 received platinum-based chemotherapy as first-line therapy.The objective response rate(ORR) and median progression-free survival(m PFS) of patients treated with TKIs in the uncommon mutation group was significantly inferior to that in the common mutation group(ORR: 23.3% vs.51.8%,P=0.003; m PFS:7.1 vs.10.9 months,P<0.001).In the uncommon group,m PFS was similar between first-line EGFR-TKIs treatment and platinum-based chemotherapy(7.1 vs.6.1 months,P=0.893).In patients with EGFR G719 X or L861 Q mutations,the m PFS was longer in the first-line EGFR-TKIs treatment group than in the chemotherapy group,but the difference was not statistically significant(G719 X: 8.2 vs.5.8 months,P=0.061; L861 Q: 7.6 vs.4.1 months,P=0.872).Multivariate analyses identified adenocarcinoma(P=0.003) as the independent predictive factor for PFS in patients with uncommon EGFR mutations who were treated with first-line EGFR-TKIs.Conclusions: The current study demonstrated that the effect of first-line EGFR-TKIs was similar to that of platinum-based chemotherapy in patients with uncommon EGFR-mutant NSCLC.Adenocarcinoma was the independent predictive factor for PFS in uncommon EGFR-mutant NSCLC patients treated with first-line EGFRTKIs. | Jinpeng Shi Hui Yang Tao Jiang Xuefei Li Chao Zhao Limin Zhang Sha Zhao Xiaozhen Liu Yijun Jia Yan Wang Lei Xi Shijia Zhang Chunxia Su Shengxiang Ren Caicun Zhou | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,6: | 6 |

| 9 | Integrating full-length transcriptomics and metabolomics reveals the regulatory mechanisms underlying yellow pigmentation in tree peony(Paeonia suffruticosa Andr.)flowers显示文摘Tree peony(Paeonia suffruticosa Andr.)is a popular ornamental plant in China due to its showy and colorful flowers.However,yellow-colored flowers are rare in both wild species and domesticated cultivars.The molecular mechanisms underlying yellow pigmentation remain poorly understood.Here,petal tissues of two tree peony cultivars,“High Noon”(yellow flowers)and“Roufurong”(purple–red flowers),were sampled at five developmental stages(S1–S5)from early flower buds to full blooms.Five petal color indices(brightness,redness,yellowness,chroma,and hue angle)and the contents of ten different flavonoids were determined.Compared to“Roufurong,”which accumulated abundant anthocyanins at S3–S5,the yellow-colored“High Noon”displayed relatively higher contents of tetrahydroxychalcone(THC),flavones,and flavonols but no anthocyanin production.The contents of THC,flavones,and flavonols in“High Noon”peaked at S3 and dropped gradually as the flower bloomed,consistent with the color index patterns.Furthermore,RNA-seq analyses at S3 showed that structural genes such as PsC4Hs,PsDFRs,and PsUFGTs in the flavonoid biosynthesis pathway were downregulated in“High Noon,”whereas most PsFLSs,PsF3Hs,and PsF3’Hs were upregulated.Five transcription factor(TF)genes related to flavonoid biosynthesis were also upregulated in“High Noon.”One of these TFs,PsMYB111,was overexpressed in tobacco,which led to increased flavonols but decreased anthocyanins.Dual-luciferase assays further confirmed that PsMYB111 upregulated PsFLS.These results improve our understanding of yellow pigmentation in tree peony and provide a guide for future molecular-assisted breeding experiments in tree peony with novel flower colors. | Xiaoning Luo Daoyang Sun Shu Wang Sha Luo Yaqi Fu Lixin Niu Qianqian Shi Yanlong Zhang | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 5 |
| 10 | Consensus on the digestive endoscopic tunnel technique显示文摘With the digestive endoscopic tunnel technique(DETT), many diseases that previously would have been treated by surgery are now endoscopically curable by establishing a submucosal tunnel between the mucosa and muscularis propria(MP). Through the tunnel, endoscopic diagnosis or treatment is performed for lesions in the mucosa, in the MP, and even outside the gastrointestinal(GI) tract.At present, the tunnel technique application range covers the following:(1)Treatment of lesions originating from the mucosal layer, e.g., endoscopic submucosal tunnel dissection for oesophageal large or circular early-stage cancer or precancerosis;(2) treatment of lesions from the MP layer, per-oral endoscopic myotomy, submucosal tunnelling endoscopic resection, etc.; and(3) diagnosis and treatment of lesions outside the GI tract, such as resection of lymph nodes and benign tumour excision in the mediastinum or abdominal cavity. With the increasing number of DETTs performed worldwide, endoscopic tunnel therapeutics, which is based on DETT, has been gradually developed and optimized. However, there is not yet an expert consensus on DETT to regulate its indications, contraindications, surgical procedure, and postoperative treatment.The International DETT Alliance signed up this consensus to standardize the procedures of DETT. | 11 | Effectiveness and safety of Ginkgo biloba extract(GBE50)in the treatment of dizziness caused by cerebral arteriosclerosis:a multi-center,double-blind,randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Ginkgo biloba extract(GBE50)in the treatment of dizziness caused by cerebral arteriosclerosis.METHODS:This was a multi-center,double-blind,double-dummy,positive-controlled,parallel randomized controlled clinical trial with 1∶1 allocation.We recruited 404 patients with dizziness caused by cerebral arteriosclerosis(blood stasis symptom pattern)in 10 hospitals in China.GBE50 group received GBE50 and Naoxinqing tablet(NXQ)of mimetic agent,control group received NXQ and GBE50 of mimetic agent.The main outcome was Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)symptom pattern score of blood stasis after 6 weeks.The secondary outcomes were changes in the dizziness handicap inventory(DHI)score,vertigo visual analogue scale(VAS)score,the university of California vertigo questionnaire(UCLA-DQ)score and single-item symptom score of TCM from baseline to 2,4 and 6 weeks.Safety indicators included the incidence of adverse events,severe adverse events and laboratory examination including blood routine,liver function,renal function,and so forth.RESULTS:The total effective rate of TCM symptom pattern score in the GBE50 group after 6 weeks of treatment was higher than that in the control group,the difference in rate was statistically significant(92.67%vs 83.07%,P=0.004).Compared with the control group,there was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions(9.95%vs 14.85%,P=0.136).CONCLUSION:The treatment of dizziness caused by cerebral arteriosclerosis with GBE50 is effective,safe and reliable. | SHA Rina TANG Lu DU Yawei WU Shengxian SHI Huawei ZOU Hongxin ZHANG Xuran DONG Xinglu ZHOU Li | 2022 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,1: | 5 |

| 13 | Depositional environment in the southern Ulleung Basin,East Sea(Sea of Japan),during the last 48000 years显示文摘The present study is based on the sedimentological data from a piston core KCES1 off the southern Ulleung Basin margin,the East Sea(Sea of Japan).The data include sediment color(L*),X-ray radiographs,grain size distribution and AMS14C date.Four kinds of sediments(homogeneous,laminated,crudely laminated and hybrid sediments) are identified according to the characters of the sedimentary structures that were considered to reflect changes in bottom-water oxygenation.Alternations of dark laminated/crudely laminated sediments and light homogeneous sediments represent millennial-scale variations that are possibly associated with the high-resolution changes in the East Asian monsoon(EAM).The relative contributions of the East China Sea Coastal Water(ECSCW) and the Tsushima Warm Current(TWC) were likely the main reasons for the repetition of the anoxic and oxic depositional conditions in the East Sea since the last 48 ka BP.During the interstadial,the strengthen summer EAM was attributed to the expansion of the ECSCW because of more humid climate in central Asia,and then more strongly low-salinity,nutrient-enriched water was introduced into the East Sea.The ventilation of deep water was restricted and therefore the dark laminated layer deposited under the anoxic bottom water condition.During the lowest stand of sea level in the last glacial maximum(LGM),the isolated East Sea dominated by stratified water masses and the euxinic depositional environment formed.The homogenous sediments have been predominating since 17.5 ka BP indicating that the TWC has intruded into the East Sea gradually with the stepwise rise of sea level and the bottom water oxygen level was high.During the late Younger Dryas(YD) period,the last dark laminated layer deposited because the ventilation of bottom water was restricted by stronger summer EAM.The TWC strengthened and the bottom water became oxic again from 10.5 ka BP. | LIU Yanguang SHA Longbin SHI Xuefa SUK Bong-Chool LI Chaoxin WANG Kunshan LI Xiaoyan | 2010 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2010,29,5: | 4 |

| 15 | Simultaneously optimizing pore morphology and enhancing mechanical properties of Al-Si alloy composite foams by graphene nanosheets显示文摘The integrity and regularity of pore morphology play an important role in determining the mechanical properties of the metallic foam materials.The conventional methods on refining pore morphology are mainly focused on the optimization of fabrication techniques,however,they are usually inconvenient and complicated.Recently,incorporating nano reinforcement is considered to be a suitable way to fabricate metallic composite foams accompanied by optimized pore morphology and enhanced mechanical properties.In this work,through a facile and rapid powder metallurgy foaming method,the aluminum-silicon(Al-Si)alloy composite foams reinforced by graphene nanosheets(GNSs)are successfully fabricated.The microstructure analyses reveal that,for the Al-Si alloy foams incorporating the GNSs(GNSs/Al-Si composite foams),the pore size is transformed to be smaller,the pore size distributions become more homogeneous and the pore shape is also refined to a regular and roundish state.Meanwhile,the shape of Si precipitates is found transforming from an irregular long strip(length of~20μm,width of~5μm)to a fine particle state(diameter of~5μm).Moreover,the compressive testing results show that,the 0.4wt%GNSs/Al-Si composite foams own the optimal compression stress of 11.7±0.5 MPa,plateau stress of 10.0±1.0 MPa and energy absorption capacity of 6.8±0.7 MJ/m^(3),which have improvement of 58.1%,53.8%and 51.1%in comparison with the Al-Si alloy foams counterpart,respectively.The present findings may pave a new way for developing new generation of metallic composite foams that with stable microstructure and excellent mechanical performance. | Weiting Li Xudong Yang Kunming Yang Chunnian He Junwei Sha Chunsheng Shi Yunhui Mei Jiajun Li Naiqin Zhao | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,6: | 3 |

| 17 | Response dynamics of three defense related enzymes in cotton leaves to the interactive stress of Helicoverpa armigera (Hübner) herbivory and omethoate application显示文摘In order to explore the response dynamics of the activities of defense related enzymes in cotton leaves towards the interactive stress of Helicoverpa armigera herbivory and omethoate application, the activities of phenylalanine ammonia-lyase(PAL), lipoxygenase(LOX), and polyphenol oxidase(PPO) were examined from 6 to 126 h after cotton leaves were treated 12 h of H. armigera herbivory, and then sprayed with 800 mg L–1 omethoate. The results showed that the changes in the activities of PAL, LOX and PPO that occured under the interactive stress of H. armigera herbivory and omethoate application reflected the interactive effects of the two stresses on cotton defense. The similarity between the response dynamics of PAL, LOX, and PPO activities in cotton leaves under the interactive stress and that under H. armigera herbivory treatment alone showed that the induction of H. armigera herbivory on the activities of PAL, LOX and PPO in cotton leaves played a leading role in the interactive effects, and the effect of omethoate application played only a minor role. A joint factor analysis was performed according to a method which has been used to analyze the joint toxicity of pesticides; this analysis sought to clarify if there was a synergistic, antagonistic, or additive effect on PAL, LOX, and PPO activity in cotton leaves resulting from the interactive H. armigera herbivory and omethoate treatment. In the interactive effect on the response of PAL activity in cotton leaves, antagonistic effects of the omethoate application towards H. armigera herbivory were observed at 6 and 12 h. Synergistic effects were then observed at 18 and 30 h. Antagonistic effects were observed from 54 to 78 h and synergistic effects were finally observed at 126 h. The correlation between H. armigera herbivory and omethoate application in the interactive effect on cotton defense responses of LOX activity also fluctuated from synergism to antagonism during the time course. In the interactive effect on PPO activity, only antagonism was observed between H. armigera herbivory and omethoate application. In the interactive stress of H. armigera herbivory and omethoate application on cotton defense responses, omethoate affected the defense responses of cotton to H. armigera herbivory by producing antagonistic and synergistic effects. | 18 | Grass Litter Decomposition Rate and Water-Holding Capacity in Dry-Hot Valley of Jinshajiang River显示文摘The decomposition rate and the water-holding capacity of 6 kinds of grass litters were studied in the Jinshajiang river dry-hot valley. The results showed that the dry weight remains reduced with time but did not have a direct correlation with time. The decomposi-tion litters were affected by climate, character of litter, animalcule and soil animal. The climate factors of temperature and humidity were important especially. The water-holding capacity was in the sequence of N. wightii (336%), P. notatum Flugge (248%), H. con-tortus (L.) Beauv (209%), B. pertusa (L.) A. Camus(206%), I. ende-caphylla Jacq (174%), D. annulatum (Forsk.) Stapf (168%). After 24 months decomposition the remaining dry weight of the litter was in the sequence as follows: 15.12% for N. wightii, 26.38% for I. ende-caphylla Jacq, 27.23% for B. pertusa (L.) A. Camus, 30.78% for P. notatum Flugge, 39.72% for H. contortus (L.) Beauv and 39.76% for D. annulatum (Forsk.) Stapf. The decomposition rate and wa-ter-holding capacity of N. wightii are at the highest level. | 20 | Simultaneous pancreas-kidney transplantation with modified enteric drainage of exocrine pancreatic secretion显示文摘BACKGROUND: As a valid therapeutic option for patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus (IDDM) and secondary dia- betic nephropathy, simultaneous pancreas-kidney trans- plantation (SPK) remains more undeveloped than other solid organ transplantations due to the restrictions of surgi- cal techniques especially the modes of exocrine pancreatic secretion. The aim of this paper was to summarize our sin- gle-center experience in SPK with modified enteric drai- nage (ED). METHODS: From June 2000 to July 2003, 10 patients with IDDM associated with uremia received SPK. The pancrea- tic allograft exocrine secretion was drained into the proxi- mal jejunum via a side-to-side duodenojejunostomy with- out Roux-en-Y anastomosis. Quadruple immunosuppres- sive regimen consisted of induction of tacrolimus (TAC) / cyclosporine (CsA), mycophenolate mofetil (MMF), ste- roids and antibodies, which included antilymphocyte glo- bulin (ALG) or anti-CD25 monoclonal antibody. RESULTS: ED-SPK without Roux-en-Y anastomosis was successful in all 10 patients without serious complications such as pancreatitis, graft thrombosis and pancreatic fistu- la. The patients regained immediate kidney allograft func- tion and euglycemia with insulin-independence. Four pa- tients survived over one year. Episodes of acute rejection were observed in 4 patients, 3 of whom showed reversion after treatment of OKT3 or insulin. Early postoperative complications included peritoneal infection ( 2 patients ), wound infection (2) and renal hematoma (1).
