1Manifestations in Corrosion Prophase of Ultra-high Strength Steel 30CrMnSiNi2 A in Sodium Chloride Solutions显示文摘The corrosion behaviors of ultra-high strength steel 30CrMnSiNi2A in sodium chloride solution were studied by weight loss and electrochemical methods. The morphology of corrosion products was observed using scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and the composition was analyzed using an energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) and X-Ray diffraction(XRD). The experimental results showed that the corrosion came from pitting corrosion and the rust layer was composed of outer rust layer γ-FeOOH and inner rust layer Fe2O3 with a little β-FeOOH. The correlation between corrosion rate and test time accorded with exponential rule. The corrosion current measured by polarization methods was higher than that calculated by weight loss method after a long-time immersion, the main reason was that β-FeOOH and γ-Fe2O3 transformed by γ-FeOOH led to overestimating corrosion rate. The processes of corrosion prophase were obtained from XRD and EIS results. 3Distribution of Calcium Carbonate in the Process of Concrete Self-healing显示文摘The complete deposition distribution process of calcium carbonate is summarized in three directions of cracks. Distribution of calcium carbonate in the self-healing process of microbial concrete is studied in detail, with the help of a variety of analytical techniques. The results show that carbonate deposits along the x-axis direction of the cracks. The farther from the crack surfaces of concrete matrix in x-axis direction, the more the content of the substrate, the less content of calcium carbonate. Gradual accumulation of calcium carbonate along the y-axis direction is like building a house with bricks. Different repair points are gradually connected, and ultimately the whole of cracks are completely filled. 7The Critical Role of Fillers in Composite Polymer Electrolytes for Lithium Battery显示文摘With excellent energy densities and highly safe performance,solidstate lithium batteries(SSLBs)have been hailed as promising energy storage devices.Solid-state electrolyte is the core component of SSLBs and plays an essential role in the safety and electrochemical performance of the cells.Composite polymer electrolytes(CPEs)are considered as one of the most promising candidates among all solid-state electrolytes due to their excellent comprehensive performance.In this review,we briefly introduce the components of CPEs,such as the polymer matrix and the species of fillers,as well as the integration of fillers in the polymers.In particular,we focus on the two major obstacles that affect the development of CPEs:the low ionic conductivity of the electrolyte and high interfacial impedance.We provide insight into the factors influencing ionic conductivity,in terms of macroscopic and microscopic aspects,including the aggregated structure of the polymer,ion migration rate and carrier concentration.In addition,we also discuss the electrode-electrolyte interface and summarize methods for improving this interface.It is expected that this review will provide feasible solutions for modifying CPEs through further understanding of the ion conduction mechanism in CPEs and for improving the compatibility of the electrode-electrolyte interface.Xueying Yang Jiaxiang Liu Nanbiao Pei Zhiqiang Chen Ruiyang Li Lijun Fu Peng Zhang Jinbao Zhao 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,5:1
8Improving Centralized Path Calculation Based on Graph Compression显示文摘Shortest-path calculation on weighted graphs are an essential operation in computer networks. The performance of such algorithms has become a critical challenge in emerging software-defined networks(SDN),since SDN controllers need to centralizedly perform a shortest-path query for every flow,usually on large-scale network. Unfortunately,one of the challenges is that current algorithms will become incalculable as the network size increases. Therefore, inspired by the compression graph in the field of compute visualization,we propose an efficient shortest path algorithm by compressing the original big network graph into a small one, but the important graph properties used to calculate path is reserved. 9Physics-informed deep learning for solving phonon Boltzmann transport equation with large temperature non-equilibrium显示文摘Phonon Boltzmann transport equation(BTE)is a key tool for modeling multiscale phonon transport,which is critical to the thermal management of miniaturized integrated circuits,but assumptions about the system temperatures(i.e.,small temperature gradients)are usually made to ensure that it is computationally tractable.To include the effects of large temperature non-equilibrium,we demonstrate a data-free deep learning scheme,physics-informed neural network(PINN),for solving stationary,mode-resolved phonon BTE with arbitrary temperature gradients.This scheme uses the temperature-dependent phonon relaxation times and learns the solutions in parameterized spaces with both length scale and temperature gradient treated as input variables.Numerical experiments suggest that the proposed PINN can accurately predict phonon transport(from 1D to 3D)under arbitrary temperature gradients.Moreover,the proposed scheme shows great promise in simulating device-level phonon heat conduction efficiently and can be potentially used for thermal design.Ruiyang Li Jian-Xun Wang Eungkyu Lee Tengfei Luo 2022npj Computational Materials2022,,1:1
10Plasma-enhanced catalytic activation of CO_(2) in a modified gliding arc reactor显示文摘For the first time,this paper demonstrates a synergistic effect from the combination of a gliding arc discharge plasma with a photocatalyst TiO_(2) for CO_(2) dissociation.The effects of adding a tray downstream the discharge and the combination of the catalyst with plasma have been investigated.Two different combination modes of plasma catalysis,i.e.,in-plasma catalysis and post-plasma catalysis,have been evaluated with the emphasis on the analysis of potential mechanisms.The results show that modifying the gliding arc reactor by the addition of a tray can enhance the fraction of gas treated by plasma,thus improv-ing the reaction performance.An exceptional synergistic effect of combining the gliding arc discharge with TiO_(2) for CO_(2) activation forms in the in-plasma catalysis mode.The presence of TiO_(2) significantly enhances the CO_(2) conversion by 138% and the energy efficiency by 133%at a flow rate of 2 L/min.The plasma activation effect,which produces energetic electrons that can create the electron-hole pairs on the catalyst surface,is believed to be the major contributor to the generation of the plasma catalysis synergy.This mechanism has been further evidenced by the negligible influence of the post-plasma catalysis on the reaction performance.Hao Zhang Li Li Ruiyang Xu Jingying Huang Ni Wang Xiaodong Li Xin Tu 2020Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2020,2,2:1
11INDEPENDENTLY-TUNED CONCURRENT DUAL-BAND BRANCH-LINE COUPLER USING VARACTOR显示文摘This paper presents a concurrent dual-band branch-line coupler with an independently tunable center frequency. In the proposed architecture, the quarter-wavelength lines, which work at two separated bands concurrently and can be tuned in one of them, are key components. Based on the analysis of ABCD-matrix, a novel hybrid structure and a pair of varactors topology are utilized to achieve concurrent dual-band operation and independent tunability, respectively. Using this configuration, it is convenient to tune the center frequency of the upper band, while the responses of the lower band remain unaltered. 12Effi ciency of Concrete Crack-healing based on Biological Carbonate Precipitation显示文摘The aim of this study was to improve the capacity for crack-repair in concrete by developing a new way. The self-healing agent based on biological carbonate precipitation was developed. Crack-healing capacity of the cement paste specimens with this biochemical agent was researched. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) were used to characterize the precipitation in cracks.The healing efficiency was evaluated by measuring the water permeability after crack healing as well.The experimental results show that the applied biochemical agent can successfully improve the self-healing capacity of the cement paste specimens as larger cracks can be healed. The cracks with a width of 0.48 mm in the specimens with the biochemical agent are nearly fully healed by the precipitation after 80 d repair. SEM and XRD analysis results demonstrate that the white precipitation in cracks is calcium carbonate, which displays spherical crystal morphology. Meanwhile, the water permeability test result shows that the biochemical agent can significantly decrease the water permeability of the cement paste specimens, the water permeability of specimens with the biochemical agent respectively decreases by 84% and 96% after 7 d and 28 d immersion in water, however the control specimens only respectively decrease by 41% and 60%, which indicates that the bacteria-based concrete appears to be a promising approach to increase concrete durability.罗勉 钱春香 LI Ruiyang RONG Hui 2015Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2015,30,6:1

14Investigation on the genetic-inconsistent paternity cases using the MiSeq FGx system显示文摘Mutations might challenge the paternity index calculation in forensic identification.While many studies have focussed on the autosomal short tandem repeats(A-STR),the mutation status of sex chromosomes and single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)remain blank.Next generation sequencing(NGS),known as high throughput and large sequence polymorphism,is a promising tool for forensic genetics.To describe the mutation landscapes in the paternity cases with genetic inconsistencies,a total of 63 parentage confirmed paternity cases contained at least one mismatched locus have been collected.The mutations were subsequently evaluated using Verogen’s MPSForenSeqTM DNASignature Kit and a microsatellite instability(MSI)detection kit.The result showed 98.41%(62/63)of the cases had no additional autosomal mutations even when the number of A-STRs increased to 27.As for the sex chromosomes,about 11.11%(7/63)of the cases exhibited either X-STR or Y-STR mutations.D2S1338,FGAand Penta Ewere the most frequent altered STRs,which suggested they might be the mutation hotspots.In addition,a male with sex chromosome abnormality was observed accidently,whose genotype might be 47,XXY,rather than MSI.Nearly 56.90%of the STR loci possessed isoalleles,which might result in higher STR polymorphisms.No Mendelian incompatibility was detected among the SNP markers,which indicated that SNP was a more reliable genetic marker in the genetic-inconsistent paternity cases.Anqi Chen Ruiyang Tao Chengtao Li Suhua Zhang 2022Forensic Sciences Research2022,7,4:0

17Heterogeneity and non-linearity of ecosystem responses to climate change in the Qilian Mountains National Park, China显示文摘Ecosystem responses to climate change,particularly in arid environments,is an understudied topic.This study conducted a spatial analysis of ecosystem responses to short-term variability in temperature,precipitation,and solar radiation in the Qilian Mountains National Park,an arid mountainous region in Northwest China.We collected precipitation and temperature data from the National Science and Technology Infrastructure Platform,solar radiation data from the China Meteorological Forcing Dataset,and vegetation cover remote-sensing data from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer.We used the vegetation sensitivity index to identify areas sensitive to climate change and to determine which climatic factors were significant in this regard.The findings revealed a high degree of heterogeneity and non-linearity of ecosystem responses to climate change.Four types of heterogeneity were identified:longitude,altitude,ecosystem,and climate disturbance.Furthermore,the characteristics of nonlinear ecosystem responses to climate change included:(1)inconsistency in the controlling climatic factors for the same ecosystems in different geographical settings;(2)the interaction between different climatic factors results in varying weights that affect ecosystem stability and makes them difficult to determine;and(3)the hysteresis effect of vegetation increases the uncertainty of ecosystem responses to climate change.The findings are significant because they highlight the complexity of ecosystem responses to climate change.Furthermore,the identification of areas that are particularly sensitive to climate change and the influencing factors has important implications for predicting and managing the impacts of climate change on ecosystems,which can help protect the stability of ecosystems in the Qilian Mountains National Park.GAO Xiang WEN Ruiyang Kevin LO LI Jie YAN An 2023Journal of Arid Land2023,15,5:0
18Effect of Non-Convective Zone Thickness on Thermal Efficiency of Salt Gradient Solar Ponds显示文摘An improved radiation transmission and thermal efficiency model for solar ponds has been proposed based on both the Hull Model and Wang/Seyed-Yagoobi Model in this paper.The new model is more accurate to actual measured conditions because multiple reflections and turbidity effects are included.Absorption penetration,thermal conductivity loss and thermal efficiency under different Non-Convective Zone thicknesses are numerically analyzed and thoroughly discussed.The results show thatΔT/I0 plays a critical role for the thermal efficiency of solar pond.Furthermore,it is found through calculation that there is an optimum thickness of the Non-Convective Zone.When the Non-Convective Zone thickness is less than this critical threshold,both temperature and thermal efficiency are decreased with increasing turbidity.However,when the Non-Convective Zone thickness is greater than this critical threshold,the increasing turbidity within a certain range will be beneficial to improve the thermal efficiency of solar pond.In addition,optimum Non-Convective Zone thickness is also related to the temperature,turbidity,salinity variation and bottom reflectivity.Nan Li Ruiyang Xu Caihong Zhang Guoping Wu 2021Energy Engineering2021,118,4:0
19Monolithic polyimine vitrimer/graphene aerogel composites显示文摘Graphene-polymer composites have attracted great attention as sensing materials due to their tailorable electrical conductivity, physicochemical properties, and sensitivity to geometric and functional changes.Herein, we report the first example of cylindrical monolithic polyimine vitrimer/graphene composites with excellent mechanical, compressive, rehealable and recyclable, and piezoresistive properties via simple infiltration of polymer monomers into the pores of graphene aerogel followed by thermal curing. The composites exhibit excellent durable compressibility(negligible reduction in the compression properties even after 3000 consecutive compression cycles), rapid recovery to the original size upon stress released,high compressive strength(up to 1.2 MPa), and high conductivity(up to 79 S/m). Excellent piezoresistive properties were observed, displaying consistent and reliable change of the electrical resistance with the compression ratio. Furthermore, rehealing with ~100% recovery of the compressive strength and electric conductivity was achieved under mild rehealing conditions, which is highly desired but has rarely been reported for electronic materials. 20Promote the conductivity of solid polymer electrolyte at room temperature by constructing a dual range ionic conduction path显示文摘Poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)is a classic matrix model for solid polymer electrolyte which can not only dissociate lithium-ions(Li^(+)),but also can conduct Li^(+) through segmental motion in long-range.However,the crystal aggregation state of PEO restricts the conduction of Li^(+) especially at room temperature.In this work,an amorphous polymer electrolyte with ethylene oxide(EO)and propylene oxide(PO)block structure(B-PEG@DMC)synthesized by the transesterification is firstly obtained,showing an ionic conductivity value of 1.1×10^(5) S/cm at room temperature(25℃).According to the molecular dynamics(MD)simulation,the PO segments would lead to an inconsecutive and hampered conduction of Li^(+),which is not beneficial to the short range conduction of Li^(+).Thus the effect of transformation of aggregation state on the improveme nt of ionic conductivity is not eno ugh,it is n ecessary to further consider the differe nt coupled behaviours of EO and PO segments with Li^(+).In this way,we blend this amorphous polymer(B-PEG@DMC)with PEO to obtain a dual range ionic conductive solid polymer electrolyte(D-SPE)with further improved ionic conductivity promoted by constructing a dual range fast ionic conduction,which eventually shows a further improved ionic conductivity value of 2.3×10^(5) S/cm at room temperature.Ruiyang Li Haiming Hua Yuejing Zeng Jin Yang Zhiqiang Chen Peng Zhang Jinbao Zhao 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,1:0
