| 1 | A comprehensive Chinese experience against SARS-CoV-2 in ophthalmology显示文摘The 2019 novel coronavirus disease(COVID-19)has now swept through the continents and poses a global threat to public health.Several investigations have been conducted to identify whether COVID-19 can be transmitted through the ocular route,and the conclusion is that it is a potential route but remains uncertain.Due to the faceto-face communication with patients,frequent exposure to tears and ocular discharge,and the unavoidable use of equipment which requires close proximity,ophthalmologists carry a high risk of contracting severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).Based on 33 articles published by Chinese scholars,guidelines and clinical practice experience in domestic hospitals,we have summarized the Chinese experience through the lens of ophthalmology,hoping to make a contribution to protecting ophthalmologists and patients around the world. | A-Yong Yu Ruixue Tu Xu Shao Anpeng Pan Kaijing Zhou Jinhai Huang | 2020 | Eye and Vision2020,7,1: | 5 |
| 2 | The effects of repeated propofol anesthesia on spatial memory and long-term potentiation in infant rats under hypoxic conditions显示文摘Propofol is widely used as an intravenous drug for induction and maintenance in general anesthesia.Hypoxemia is a common complication during perianesthesia.We want to know the effect of propofol on spatial memory and LTP(Long-term potentiation)under hypoxic conditions.In this study,84 seven-day-old SpragueeDawley rats were randomly assigned into six groups(n Z 14)-four control groups:lipid emulsion solvent t 50%oxygen(CO),lipid emulsion solvent t room air(CA),lipid emulsion solvent t 18%oxygen(CH),and propofol t 50%oxygen(propofoleoxygen,PO);and two experiment groups:propofol t room air(propofol eair,PA),and propofol t 18%oxygen(propofolehypoxia,PH).After receiving propofol(50 mg/kg)or the same volume of intralipid intraperitoneal(5.0 ml/kg),injected once per day for seven consecutive days,the rats were exposed to 18%oxygen,50%oxygen and air,until recovery of the righting reflex.We found that the apoptotic index and activated caspase-3 increased in the PH group(P<0.05)compared with the PA group,fEPSP(field excitatory postsynaptic)potential and success induction rate of LTP reduced in all propofol groups(P<0.05).Compared with the PO group,the fEPSP and success induction rate of LTP reduced significantly in the PA and PH groups(P<0.05).Moreover,compared with CH group,the average time of escape latency was longer,and the number of platform location crossings was significantly reduced in the PH group(P<0.05).Thus,we believe that adequate oxygen is very important during propofol anesthesia. | Mang Sun Ruixue Yuan Hui Liu Jing Zhang Shengfen Tu | 2020 | Genes & Diseases2020,7,2: | 2 |
| 3 | Effect of orthokeratology on precision and agreement assessment of a new sweptsource optical coherence tomography biometer显示文摘Background:To evaluate the effect of orthokeratology on precision of measurements in children using a new swept-source optical coherence tomography(SS-OCT)optical biometer(OA-2000),and agreement between its measurements and those provided by the commonly used IOLMaster based on partial coherence interferometry(PCI).Methods:This study recruited fifty-one eyes of 51 normal children(8–16 years).An operator took measurements with the two biometers.Then,a second operator took measurements with the SS-OCT biometer.After orthokeratology was performed for one month,the same operators repeated the same procedures.Axial length(AL),mean keratometry(Km)at 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm diameters(Km2.5 and Km3.0),central corneal thickness(CCT),anterior chamber depth(ACD),lens thickness(LT)and corneal diameter(CD)were analyzed.Results:With the SS-OCT optical biometer,the test-retest repeatability of AL measurements was<0.06 mm.For all parameters,the coefficients of variation were<1.23%and the intraclass correlation coefficients were>0.95.The 95%limits of agreement of difference between the two devices for CD parameter were up to 1.53 mm.After orthokeratology,the fluctuation ranges of difference for Km3.0 measurement was 1.11 times higher than before orthokeratology,while the absolute values of difference for AL,Km2.5,ACD and CD measurements were comparable.Conclusions:Before and after orthokeratology,the SS-OCT biometer showed high repeatability and reproducibility for all measurements.Wearing orthokeratology contact lenses affected the agreement between SS-OCT and PCI biometers for Km3.0 measurements.The CD measurement showed poor agreement between the two devices. | Bao Shu Fangjun Bao Giacomo Savini Weicong Lu Ruixue Tu Haisi Chen Benhao Song Qinmei Wang Jinhai Huang | 2020 | Eye and Vision2020,7,1: | 1 |
| 4 | Metal Particle Contamination in Gas-insulated Switchgears/Gas-insulated Transmission Lines显示文摘Metal particle contamination in a gas-insulated switchgear(GIS)or a gas-insulated transmission line(GIL)is an important factor leading to the decline of insulation performance.Exploring the deterioration mechanism and suppression measures of metal particles on insulation is a key technical problem in enhancing the dielectric strength of GIS/GIL equipment.In this paper,the charge and motion characteristics of metal particles are first introduced.The gas gap breakdown caused by free metal particles and the surface flashover caused by metal particles near or adsorbed on the insulator are then analyzed according to different particle motion patterns and spatial locations.Subsequently in terms of operation managements,the existing methods of particle detection are analyzed.In addition,the main inhibition methods of metal particles are introduced from three aspects:particle trap,insulator surface treatment and electrode coating.Finally,the prospects in the future research on particle pollution in GIS/GIL are also pointed out. | Jian Wang Qi Hu Yanan Chang Jingrui Wang Ruixue Liang Youping Tu Chuanyang Li Qingmin Li | 2021 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,5: | 1 |
