3Producing deep UV-LEDs in high-yield MOVPE by improving AlN crystal quality with sputtered AlN nucleation layer显示文摘High-quality AlN layers with low-density threading dislocations are indispensable for high-efficiency deep ultraviolet light-emitting diodes(UV-LEDs). In this work, a high-temperature AlN epitaxial layer was grown on sputtered AlN layer(used as nucleation layer, SNL) by a high-yield industrial metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy(MOVPE). The full width half maximum(FWHM) of the rocking curve shows that the AlN epitaxial layer with SNL has good crystal quality. Furthermore, the relationships between the thickness of SNL and the FWHM values of(002) and(102) peaks were also studied. Finally, utilizing an SNL to enhance the quality of the epitaxial layer, deep UV-LEDs at 282 nm were successfully realized on sapphire substrate by the high-yield industrial MOVPE. The light-output power(LOP) of a deep UV-LED reaches 1.65 mW at 20 mA with external quantum efficiency of 1.87%. In addition, the saturation LOP of the deep UV-LED is 4.31 mW at an injection current of 60 mA. 9Antibacterial mechanism of kojic acid and tea polyphenols against Escherichia coli O157:H7 through transcriptomic analysis显示文摘Escherichia coli O157:H7 is one of the major foodborne pathogenic bacterial that cause infectious diseases in humans.The previous found that a combination of kojic acid and tea polyphenols exhibited better activity against E.coli O157:H7 than using either alone.This study aimed to explore responses underlying the antibacterial mechanisms of kojic acid and tea polyphenols from the gene level.The functional enrichment analysis by comparing kojic acid and tea polyphenols individually or synergistically against E.coli O157:H7 found that acid resistance systems in kojic acid were activated,and the cell membrane and genomic DNA were destructed in the cells,resulting in“oxygen starvation”.The oxidative stress response triggered by tea polyphenols inhibited both sulfur uptake and the synthesis of ATP,which affected the bacteria's life metabolic process.Interestingly,we found that kojic acid combined with tea polyphenols hindered the uptake of iron that played an essential role in the synthesis of DNA,respiration,tricarboxylic acid cycle.The results suggested that the iron uptake pathways may represent a novel approach for kojic acid and tea polyphenols synergistically against E.coli O157:H7 and provided a theoretical basis for bacterial pathogen control in the food industry.Yilin Lin Ruifei Wang Xiaoqing Li Keren Agyekumwaa Addo Meimei Fang Yehui Zhang Yigang Yu 2024Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,2:1
10A combined interfacial and in-situ polymerization strategy to construct well-defined core-shell epoxy-containing SiO_(2) - based microcapsules with high encapsulation loading, super thermal stability and nonpolar solvent tolerance显示文摘SiO_(2)-based microcapsules containing hydrophobic molecules exhib-ited potential applications such as extrinsic self-healing,drug delivery,due to outstanding thermal and chemical stability of SiO_(2).However,to construct SiO_(2)-based microcapsules with both high encapsulation loading and long-term structural stability is still a troublesome issue,limiting their further utilization.We herein design asingle-batch route,a combined interfacial and in-situ polymerization strategy,to fabricate epoxy-containing SiO_(2)-based microcapsules with both high encapsu-lation loading and long-term structural stability.The final SiO_(2)-based microcapsules preserve high encapsulation loading of 85.7 wt% by controlling exclusively hydrolysis and condensed polymerization at oil/water interface in the initial interfacial polymerization step.In the subsequent in-situ polymerization step,the initial SiO_(2)-based microcapsules as seeds could efficiently harvest SiO_(2) precursors and primary SiO 2 particles to finely tune the SiO_(2) wall thickness,thereby enhancing long-term structural stability of the final SiO_(2)-based microcapsules including high thermal stability with almost no any weight loss until 250℃,and strong tolerance against nonpolar solvents such as CCl_(4) with almost unchanged core-shell structure and unchanged core weight after immersing into strong solvents for up to 5 days.These SiO_(2)-based microcapsules are extremely suited for processing them into anticorrosive coating in the presence of nonpolar solvents for self-healing application.Yin Jia Haiyan Wang Kesong Tian Ruifei Li Zhaopeng Xu Jiao Jiao Ling Cao Yuehao Wu 2016International Journal of Smart and Nano Materials2016,7,4:0
11Analysis of the clinical features and risk factors of death in patients with mushroom poisoning显示文摘Background:Wild edible mushrooms are rich in nutrition and popular with people;however,few laboratory studies are available about the predictability of outcomes among patients with mushroom poisoning.Therefore,this study aimed to analyze the clinical features and death risk factors of patients with mushroom poisoning.Methods:Patients with mushroom poisoning admitted to the hospital from 2015 to 2021 were retrospectively evaluated.Results:A total of 197 patients with mushroom poisoning were enrolled in this study,of which 100(50.76%)were males,and the mortality was 10.66%(21/197).Patients who died were more likely to have demonstrated a long latency,high alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase,direct bilirubin,total bilirubin(TB),activated partial thromboplastin time,prothrombin time,international normalized ratio,creatinine,and blood urea nitrogen.Multiple logistic regression analysis indicated that TB level greater than or equal to 34.2μmol/L had the greatest lethal risk and could increase the risk of death by 14.588 times(odds ratio:15.588;95%confidence interval:2.088-116.351),which indicated that TB was an independent risk factor of death in patients with acute mushroom poisoning.Conclusion:Bilirubin concentration was associated with the increased likelihood of mortality.Total bilirubin was the independent risk factor of mushroom poisoning.Yan Yang Ruifei Shao Jinfang Xue Xiran Lou Deyuan Ning Guobing Chen 2023Emergency and Critical Care Medicine2023,3,1:0

13Analysis of tight oil accumulation conditions and prediction of sweet spots in Ordos Basin: A case study显示文摘Tight sandstone reservoirs are widely developed in the Mesozoic Yanchang Formation of the Ordos Basin,China.There is a lack of understanding on the sedimentary setting,source-reservoir relationship and oil accumulation conditions in this area.In this study,through the comprehensive analysis of the distri-bution of tight oil,we evaluated the properties and petrological features of reservoir,geochemical characteristics of source rocks,the source-reservoir relationship,as well as the trapping,preservation and accumulation conditions of tight oil in the Chang 7 Member,and predicted the sweet spots of tight oil in the study area.The results show that the Chang 7 Member is a typical low-porosity and ultra-low permeability reservoir with great tightness,small pore throat and high capillary pressure,and must have been of near-source accumulation.The source rocks are mainly developed in the Chang 7_(3) submember,and the reservoirs mainly occur in the Chang 7_(1) and Chang 7_(2) submembers,forming a combination mode of“lower source rock and upper reservoir”.Sandbodies with good connectivity and fractures being well developed in local areas are the main hydrocarbon transport systems.The abnormal high pressure caused by hydrocarbon generation and pressurization is the main driving force of tight oil accumulation.The mode of hydrocarbon transportation is dominated by the vertical or lateral migration from under-lying source rocks or adjacent source rocks to reservoirs within a short distance.Following the integrated evaluation of lithology,physical properties and oil saturation of reservoirs and geochemical character-istics of source rocks,we grouped the sweet spots of Chang 7 Member into three types:Type I,Type II and Type III.Among others,the Type I sweet spots are the best in terms of porosity,permeability and source rock thickness and hydrocarbon enrichment which should be the focus of oilfield development.This study lays an important foundation for the economic and efficient development of tight oil in the Chang 7 Member of Heshui area,and has important implications on tight sandstone reservoirs in other regions of Ordos Basin in China.Ying Tang Shihao Tan Ruifei Wang Hao Wang Chunming Xia Kaiyun Chen 2022Energy Geoscience2022,3,4:0
