1Improved corrosion resistance and thermal stability of sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets with holmium substitution显示文摘The effects of Ho substitution for Nd on the microstructure, corrosion resistance and thermal stability of the Nd-Fe-B magnets were investigated. The(Nd,Ho)-O phase was formed with increasing Ho substitution. The results of potentiodynamic polarization and highly accelerated stress test show improved corrosion resistance with increasing Ho substitution. The optimum mass loss 0.29 mg/cm^2 is achieved.Moreover, the average temperature coefficients for remanence and coercivity in the range of 25-150℃are both closer to zero, indicating improved thermal stability. 2Outcomes in refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma:results fromamulticenter real-world study in China显示文摘Background:Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL)patients refractory to rituximab-based immunochemotherapy have a dismal prognosis.However,the definition of refractory DLBCL remains inconsistent and no large cohort study data is available from Asian countries.To validate the definition and outcomes of refractory DLBCL in China,we conducted a multicenter,retrospective cohort study.Methods:The REtrospective AnaLysis of Treatment REspoNse of refractory DLBCL(REAL-TREND)study was performed using real-world data from 8 centers in China.DLBCL patients with curative intent were included in the REAL-TREND dataset.Overall survival(OS)was estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method and compared by the log-rank test.Due to heterogeneity in response rates among different centers,the response rates of refractory patients were pooled using random-effect models.Multivariate survival analysis was performed using the Cox regression model.Results:A total of 2778 DLBCL patients diagnosed between January,2010 and December,2015 were enrolled to this study.After validating previous definitions,the SCHOLAR-1 study was most suitable to define refractory DLBCL.The estimated 5-year cumulative incidence of refractory patients was 20%(95% confidence Interval[CI]=18%-22%).After the determination of refractory disease,overall response rate and complete remission rate were 30%(95%CI=22%-38%)and 9%(95%CI=4%-15%),respectively.Patients with either no response to immunochemotherapy or relapse within 12 months after stem-cell transplantation had inferior survival with a median OS of 5.9 months(95%CI=5.5-7.1 months)and 2-year OS rate of 16%(95%CI=12%-20%).International prognostic index score 4-5(hazard ratio[HR]=2.22;95%CI=1.47-3.35),central nervous systemrelapse(HR=1.43;95%CI=1.04-1.97),and best response status(HR=2.68;95%CI=1.42-5.03 for partial remission.HR=5.97,95%CI=3.21-11.11 for stable disease/progressive disease)were independent unfavorable prognostic factors.Conclusions:This is the first large-scale Asian cohort study focusing on outcomes of refractory DLBCL.The definition of the SCHOLAR-1 study identifies patients with homogenously inferior survival,thus is appropriate to select refractory DLBCL.Due to poor clinical outcomes in the rituximab era,patients with refractory DLBCL may be potential candidates for novel treatment modalities.Shuo Wang Li Wang Jianda Hu Wenbin Qian Xi Zhang Yu Hu Qi Zhu Bobin Chen Depei Wu Chung-Chou H.Chang Pengpeng Xu Xiaoyun Zheng Juying Wei Yao Liu Guohui Cui Yong Tang Yan Ma Haiwen Huang Hongmei Yi Weili Zhao 2021Cancer Communications2021,41,3:10
3Controllable synthesis of highly crystallized mesoporous TiO2/WO3 heterojunctions for acetone gas sensing显示文摘Mesoporous semiconducting metal oxides(SMOs)heterojunctions are appealing sensors for gas detecting.However,due to the different hydrolysis and condensation mechanism of every metal precursor and the contradiction between high crystallinity and high surface area,the synthesis of mesoporous SMOs heterojunctions with highly o rdered mesostructures,highly crystallized frameworks,and high surface area remains a huge challenge.In this work,we develop a novel'acid-base pair'adjusted solvent evaporation induced self-assembly(EISA)strategy to prepare highly crystallized ordered mesoporous TiO2/WO3(OM-TiO2/WO3)heterojunctions.The WCl6 and titanium isopropoxide(TIPO)are used as the precursors,respectively,which function as the'acid-base pair',enabling the coassembly with the structure directing agent(PEO-b-PS)into highly ordered meso structures.In addition,PEO-b-PS can be converted to rigid carbon which can protect the meso structures from collapse during the crystallization process.The resultant OM-TiO2/WO3 heterojunctions possess primitive cubic mesostructures,large pore size(~21.1 nm),highly crystalline frameworks and surface area(~98 m2/g).As a sensor for acetone,the obtained OM-TiO2/WO3 show excellent re sponse/recovery perfo rmance(3 s/5 s),good linear dependence,repeatability,selectivity,and long-term stability(35 days).Changyao Wang Yuhui Li Pengpeng Qiu Linlin Duan Wei Bi Yan Chen Dingyi Guo Yupu Liu Wei Luo Yonghui Deng 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,5:4
4Urinary donor-derived cell-free DNA as a non-invasive biomarker for BK polyomavirus-associated nephropathy显示文摘BK polyomavirus-associated nephropathy(BKPyVAN)is a common cause of allograft failure.However,differentiation between BKPyVAN and type I T cell-mediated rejection(TCMR)is challenging when simian virus 40(SV40)staining is negative,because of the similarities in histopathology.This study investigated whether donor-derived cell-free DNA(ddcfDNA)can be used to differentiate BKPyVAN.Target region capture sequencing was applied to detect the ddcfDNAs of 12 recipients with stable graft function,22 with type I TCMR,21 with proven BKPy VAN,and 5 with possible Py VAN.We found that urinary ddcfDNA levels were upregulated in recipients with graft injury,whereas plasma ddcfDNA levels were comparable for all groups.The median urinary concentrations and fractions of ddcfDNA in proven BKPyVAN recipients were significantly higher than those in type I TCMR recipients(10.4 vs.6.1 ng/mL,P<0.001 and 68.4%vs.55.3%,P=0.013,respectively).Urinary ddcfDNA fractions(not concentrations)were higher in the BKPyVAN-pure subgroup than in the BKPyVAN-rejection-like subgroup(81.30%vs.56.64%,P=0.025).With a cut-off value of 7.81 ng/m L,urinary ddcf DNA concentrations distinguished proven BKPyVAN from type I TCMR(area under the curve(AUC)=0.848,95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.734 to 0.963).These findings suggest that urinary ddcf DNA is a non-invasive biomarker which can reliably differentiate BKPy VAN from type I TCMR.Jia SHEN Luying GUO Wenhua LEI Shuaihui LIU Pengpeng YAN Haitao LIU Jingyi ZHOU Qin ZHOU Feng LIU Tingya JIANG Huiping WANG Jianyong WU Jianghua CHEN Rending WANG 2021Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2021,22,11:4

7Structure and hydrogen storage characteristics of as-spun Mg-Y-Ni-Cu alloys显示文摘Experimental alloys with compositions of Mg(25-x)YxNi9Cu(x=0,1,3,5,7)have been successfully prepared through melt spinning method.The phase compositions and microstructures were measured by X-Ray diffraction(XRD)and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM).The de-/hydrogenation properties were measured by utilizing Sievert apparatus,differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)and thermal gravimetric analyzer(TGA)connected with a H2 detector.The Arrhenius and Kissinger methods were adopted to calculate their dehydrogenation activation energies.The results show that hydrogen absorption kinetics of the alloys notably decline while their hydrogen desorption kinetics conspicuously improve with spinning rate increasing.The dehydrogenation activation energy markedly decreases with spinning rate increasing,which makes the hydrogen desorption kinetics improve.The thermodynamic parameters(H and S absolute values)clearly decrease with spinning rate increasing.The hydrogen absorption capacity exhibits different trends with spinning rate rising.Specifically,hydrogen absorption capacity increases at the beginning and declines later for Y1 alloy,but that of Y7 alloy always decreases with spinning rate growing.Yanghuan Zhang Pengpeng Wang Zhonghui Hou Zeming Yuan Yan Qi Shihai Guo 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,8:1
8Urban food-energy-water nexus:a case study in Beijing显示文摘Food,energy and water(FEW)are indispensable,irreplaceable and safeguarding resources with tangled interlinkages among each other,often framed in terms of‘nexus’.Cities have become the bustling hubs of resource consumption and production,facing the most intense stress.Globally,food security,fresh water shortage and fossil energy exhaustion have become the greatest challenge for the sustainable development of cities in the future.Systematic analysis and simulation of dynamic evolution of urban FEW demand and supply and its nexus would add significant and practical value for macro-management such as ensuring the security of urban resource.Taking Beijing as the case study,we established a dynamic model for the FEW demand and supply from the perspective of cross-ectoral and cross-regional nexus with the Stella modelling platform,then it was run for simulating the dynamic changes and nexus characteristics of FEW during the interval between 2016 and 2035.The results showed that:①The gap between local production and demand of these three resources in Beijing will continue to increase.In 2035,Beijing will need 2.16 million tons of grain,0.83 million tons of meat,4.6 billion m3 of water and 91.65 million tons of standard coal of energy while the resources produced and supplied by locality independently will be 0.21 million tons,0.23 million tons,3.3 billion cubic meters and 16.5 million tons of standard coal respectively.Beijing has to draw on cross-boundary production to meet FEW-use with the increasing gap between local supply and demand.②There is a developing trend of the absolute quantity of interaction among FEW.Structurally,the‘outsourcing’feature is obvious and the indigenous nexus links of three resources are shifting to back-end supply chain such as transportation and treatment.③The change of nexus indexes are mainly affected by the mutual and strong dependence between food and water.Food and energy depend more and more on each other;in contrast,the inter-relationship between water and energy is more stable.In addition,inter-regional FEW nexus is strengthened.④To improve systematic management of urban resources,we need to capture multi-tradeoffs of the FEW system comprehensively and establish a multi-regional and multi-factor integrated and collaborative resource management mechanism.Xinqing Li Lixiao Zhang Pengpeng Zhang Yan Hao Xin Xiong 2021Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2021,19,3:1
9Soil microbial communities as potential regulators of N2O sources in highly acidic soils显示文摘●Soil pH was a key driver of N2O emission and sources in acidic soils.●N2O emission was significantly positively associated with the ratio of ITS to 16S.●N2O was significantly correlated with bacterial and fungal community composition.●Fungi contributed to N2O in highly acidic tea plantations and vegetable fields.Acidic soil is a main source of global nitrous oxide(N2O)emissions.However,the mechanism behind the high N2O emissions from acidic soils remains a knowledge gap.The objective of this microcosm incubation study was to pin-point the microbial mechanisms involved in N2O production processes in acidic soils.For that purpose,the isotopic signatures and microbial community structure and composition of four soil samples were examined.The results showed that highly acid soils(pH=3.51)emitted 89 times more N2O than alkaline soils(pH=7.95)under the same nitrogen(N)inputs.Fungal denitrification caused high N2O emissions in acidic soils.ITS to 16S abundance ratio was positively correlated with cumulative N2O emissions from the tested soils.The highly acid soils(pH<4.5)showed greater fungal nirK gene abundance and lower abundance of AOA-amoA,AOB-amoA,nirK,nosZ I and nosZ II genes.The unclassified Aspergillaceae fungi(63.65%)dominated the highly acidic soils and was the most strongly correlated genus with N2O emissions.These findings highlight that soil microbial community structures,denitrifying fungi in particular,shaped by low pH(pH<4.5)lead to high N2O emissions from acidic soils.Junhui Yin Huaihai Chen Pengpeng Duan Kun Zhu Naihui Li Yan Ma Yumeng Xu Jingheng Guo Rui Liu Qing Chen 2023Soil Ecology Letters2023,5,4:1
10Effects of Crustal Eclogitization on Plate Subduction/Collision Dynamics: Implications for India-Asia Collision显示文摘2D thermo-mechanical models are constructed to investigate the effects of oceanic and continental crustal eclogitization on plate dynamics at three successive stages of oceanic subduction, slab breakoff, and continental subduction. Crustal eclogitization directly increases the average slab density and accordingly the slab pull force, which makes the slab subduct deeply and steeply. Numerical results demonstrate that the duration time from initial continental collision to slab breakoff largely depends on the slab pull force. Specifically, eclogitization of subducted crust can greatly decrease the duration time, but increase the breakoff depth. The detachment of oceanic slab from the pro-continental lithosphere is accompanied with obvious exhumation of the subducted continental crust and a sharp uplift of the collision zone in response to the disappearance of downward drag force and the induced asthenospheric upwelling, especially under the condition of no or incomplete crustal eclogitization. During continental subduction, the slab dip angle is strongly correlated with eclogitization of subducted continental lower crust, which regulates the slab buoyancy nature. Our model results can provide several important implications for the Himalayan-Tibetan collision zone. For example, it is possible that the lateral variations in the degree of eclogitization of the subducted Indian crust might to some extent contribute to the lateral variations of subduction angle along the Himalayan orogenic belt. 11Structure and electrochemical hydrogen storage behaviors of Mg-Ce-Ni-Al-based alloys prepared by mechanical milling显示文摘The influences of milling time and Ce content on the electrochemical property and micro structure of asmilled Mg1-xCexNi0.9Al0.1(x=0,0.02,0.04,0.06,0.08)+50 wt%Ni alloys were investigated systematically.The as-milled alloys have an outstanding activation property.The cycle stability conspicuously grows up with milling time and Ce proportion increasing.The capacity retention rate at 100 th cycle of x=0.02 alloy augments from 47% to 63% when prolonging milling time from 5 to 30 h and it grows from55% to 82% for the 30 h milled alloy with Ce content growing from 0 to 0.08.The discharge capacity of x=0.02 alloy grows up invariably with milling time prolonging,while that of the 30 h milled alloys has the maximal value of 578.4 mAh/g with Ce content increasing.Moreover,the electrochemical kinetic properties of alloys significantly improve with milling duration extending,while they have the maximal values with Ce proportion varying.Yanghuan Zhang Pengpeng Wang Wei Zhang Wengang Bu Yan Qi Shihai Guo 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,10:1

14Differentiation of Continental Subduction Mode:Numerical Modeling显示文摘The convergence of the multi-layered continental lithospheres with variable and complex thermal and rheological properties results in various modes of continental collision with distinct deformation behavior of the lithospheric mantle. Using high-resolution thermo-mechanical numerical models,we systematically investigated the effects of crustal rheological strength and the convergence rate on the continental subduction mode. The model results reveal three basic modes of continental subduction,including slab break-off,steep subduction and continental flat-slab subduction. Whether lithospheric mantle of the overriding plate retreats or not during convergence enables the division of the first two modes into two sub-types,which are dominated by the crustal rheological strength. The mode of slab break-off develops under the conditions of low/moderate rheological strength of the continental crust and low convergence rate. In contrast,continental flat-slab subduction favors the strong crust and the high convergence rate. Otherwise,continental steep subduction occurs. 15Immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment contributes to tumor progression in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma upon anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor T therapy显示文摘Anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)-T cell therapy has achieved 40%–50%long-term complete response in relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL)patients.However,the underlying mechanism of alterations in the tumor microenvironments resulting in CAR-T cell therapy failure needs further investigation.A multi-center phase I/II trial of anti-CD19 CD28z CAR-T(FKC876,ChiCTR1800019661)was conducted.Among 22 evaluable DLBCL patients,seven achieved complete remission,10 experienced partial remissions,while four had stable disease by day 29.Single-cell RNA sequencing results were obtained from core needle biopsy tumor samples collected from long-term complete remission and early-progressed patients,and compared at different stages of treatment.M2-subtype macrophages were significantly involved in both in vivo and in vitro anti-tumor functions of CAR-T cells,leading to CAR-T cell therapy failure and disease progression in DLBCL.Immunosuppressive tumor microenvironments persisted before CAR-T cell therapy,during both cell expansion and disease progression,which could not be altered by infiltrating CAR-T cells.Aberrant metabolism profile of M2-subtype macrophages and those of dysfunctional T cells also contributed to the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironments.Thus,our findings provided a clinical rationale for targeting tumor microenvironments and reprogramming immune cell metabolism as effective therapeutic strategies to prevent lymphoma relapse in future designs of CAR-T cell therapy.Zixun Yan Li Li Di Fu Wen Wu Niu Qiao Yaohui Huang Lu Jiang Depei Wu Yu Hu Huilai Zhang Pengpeng Xu Shu Cheng Li Wang Sahin Lacin Muharrem Muftuoglu Weili Zhao 2023Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,4:0
16Air stable Fe nanostructures with high magnetization prepared by reductive annealing显示文摘Monodispersed Fe nanospindles and nanoparticles were successfully synthesized through environmentfriendly reductive annealing ?-Fe OOH nanorods. Effects of annealing temperature and reaction atmosphere on microstructure, phase, and magnetic property of Fe nanostructures were investigated.The as-obtained pure Fe nanoparticles with mean size of 45 nm had a high saturation magnetization up to 207 emu/g, close to that of bulk material(218 emu/g), which exhibited high air stability. 17Helper T Cell(CD4^(+))Targeted Tacrolimus Delivery Mediates Precise Suppression of Allogeneic Humoral Immunity显示文摘Antibody-mediated rejection(ABMR)is a major cause of dysfunction and loss of transplanted kidney.The current treatments for ABMR involve nonspecific inhibition and clearance of T/B cells or plasma cells.However,the prognosis of patients following current treatment is poor.T follicular helper cells(Tfh)play an important role in allograft-specific antibodies secreting plasma cell(PC)development.Tfh cells are therefore considered to be important therapeutic targets for the treatment of antibody hypersecretion disorders,such as transplant rejection and autoimmune diseases.Tacrolimus(Tac),the primary immunosuppressant,prevents rejection by reducing T cell activation.However,its administration should be closely monitored to avoid serious side effects.In this study,we investigated whether Tac delivery to helper T(CD4^(+))cells using functionalized mesoporous nanoparticles can block Tfh cell differentiation after alloantigen exposure.Results showed that Tac delivery ameliorated humoral rejection injury in rodent kidney graft by suppressing Tfh cell development,PC,and donor-specific antibody(DSA)generation without causing severe side effects compared with delivery through the drug administration pathway.This study provides a promising therapeutic strategy for preventing humoral rejection in solid organ transplantation.The specific and controllable drug delivery avoids multiple disorder risks and side effects observed in currently used clinical approaches.Jia Shen Chang Liu Pengpeng Yan Meifang Wang Luying Guo Shuaihui Liu Jianghua Chen Jessica MRosenholm Hongfeng Huang Rending Wang Hongbo Zhang 2022Research2022,,3:0

19Prediction of high-density polyethylene pyrolysis using kinetic parameters based on thermogravimetric and artificial neural networks显示文摘Pyrolysis is considered an attractive option and a promising way to dispose waste plastics.The thermogravimetric experiments of high-density polyethylene(HDPE)were conducted from 105℃ to 900℃ at different heating rates(10℃/min,20℃/min,and 30℃/min)to investigate their thermal pyrolysis behavior.We investigated four methods including three model-free methods and one modelfitting method to estimate dynamic parameters.Additionally,an artificial neural network model was developed by providing the heating rates and temperatures to predict the weight loss(wt.%)of HDPE,and optimized via assessing mean squared error and determination coefficient on the test set.The optimal MSE(2.6297×10^(−2))and R^(2) value(R^(2)>0.999)were obtained.Activation energy and preexponential factor obtained from four different models achieves the acceptable value between experimental and predicted results.The relative error of the model increased from 2.4%to 6.8%when the sampling frequency changed from 50 s to 60 s,but showed no significant difference when the sampling frequency was below 50 s.This result provides a promising approach to simplify the further modelling work and to reduce the required data storage space.This study revealed the possibility of simulating the HDPE pyrolysis process via machine learning with no significant accuracy loss of the kinetic parameters.It is hoped that this work could potentially benefit to the development of pyrolysis process modelling of HDPE and the other plastics.Xiaoxiao Yin Junyu Tao Guanyi Chen Xilei Yao Pengpeng Luan Zhanjun Cheng Ning Li Zhongyue Zhou Beibei Yan 2023Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,1:0
20CNN-Based Forensic Method on Contrast Enhancement with JPEG Post-Processing显示文摘As one of the most popular digital image manipulations,contrast enhancement(CE)is frequently applied to improve the visual quality of the forged images and conceal traces of forgery,therefore it can provide evidence of tampering when verifying the authenticity of digital images.Contrast enhancement forensics techniques have always drawn significant attention for image forensics community,although most approaches have obtained effective detection results,existing CE forensic methods exhibit poor performance when detecting enhanced images stored in the JPEG format.The detection of forgery on contrast adjustments in the presence of JPEG post processing is still a challenging task.In this paper,we propose a new CE forensic method based on convolutional neural network(CNN),which is robust to JPEG compression.The proposed network relies on a Xception-based CNN with two preprocessing strategies.Firstly,unlike the conventional CNNs which accepts the original image as its input,we feed the CNN with the gray-level co-occurrence matrix(GLCM)of image which contains CE fingerprints,then the constrained convolutional layer is used to extract high-frequency details in GLCMs under JPEG compression,finally the output of the constrained convolutional layer becomes the input of Xception to extract multiple features for further classification.Experimental results show that the proposed detector achieves the best performance for CE forensics under JPEG post-processing compared with the existing methods.Ziqing Yan Pengpeng Yang Rongrong Ni Yao Zhao Hairong Qi 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,12:0
