| 2 | Cervical Infection of Oncogenic Human Papillomavirus(HPV) Types in Beijing,China显示文摘Objective This study was designed to determine the prevalence of oncogenic human papillomavirus(HPV) in cervical infections in Beijing,China,and to investigate the odds ratio(OR) of HPV single and multiple infections in abnormal cytology.Methods A total of 19,018 specimens from outpatients in the department of obstetric and gynecology were collected.They were detected using high-risk HPV genotyping real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR) kit and analyzed by ThinP rep cytology test for cervical pathological diagnosis.HPV prevalence,age-specific prevalence,and OR of each type of HPV in abnormal cytology were analyzed.Results Overall,19.1%(3,623/19,018) of the individuals were positive for HPV infection,14.9%(2,833/19,018) were positive for a single HPV type,and 4.2%(790/19,018) were positive for multiple types.Among the 3,623 HPV-positive individuals,the most predominant HPV types were HPV52(4.4%,834/19,018),HPV16(3.7%,710/19,018),and HPV58(3.4%,644/19,018).The OR of multiple infections and single infection differed significantly among disease severities.The OR of dual infection was higher than that of each of the two single infection types,respectively.Conclusion HPV prevalence in the outpatients was 19.1%,and the most predominant HPV types in the study were HPV52,HPV16,and HPV58.Women with multiple infectionswere more likely to have abnormal cytology. | LI Ying HUANG Ke JI Pei Li SONG Lei LIU Hong Tu | 2016 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2016,29,10: | 22 |
| 3 | Numerical analysis of periodic flow unsteadiness in a single-blade centrifugal pump显示文摘In this paper,the CFD simulation and new flow unsteadiness analysis for a single-blade centrifugal pump with whole flow passage were carried out.The periodic flow unsteadiness has been quantitatively investigated in detail by defining unsteady intensity and turbulence intensity in both rotor and volute domains under design condition Q=33 L s 1.The results show that the distributions of flow unsteadiness are the functions of impeller rotating angle and have complex unsteady characteristics.The obvious T u fluctuations can be also observed for different impeller positions.In addition,time-averaged unsteady intensity and time-averaged turbulence intensity were calculated by averaging the results of each mesh node for entire impeller revolution period to evaluate the strength distributions of flow unsteadiness directly and comprehensively.The accumulative results of an impeller revolution can directly show the positions and strength of the flow unsteadiness and turbulence intensity in both rotor and stator domains which can be an important aspect to be considered in the single-blade pump optimum design procedure for obtaining more stable inner flow of the pump and decreasing flow-induced vibration and noise.The flow unsteadiness in the side chamber cannot be neglected for an accurate prediction of the inner flow of the pump,and the optimizing design procedure for a single-blade pump impeller will not be accurate using CFD tool if the unsteady flow phenomenon in the side chamber is not considered. | PEI Ji YUAN ShouQi YUAN JianPing | 2013 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,1: | 17 |
| 4 | Numerical and Experimental Study on Flow-induced Noise at Blade-passing Frequency in Centrifugal Pumps显示文摘With the increasing noise pollution,low noise optimization of centrifugal pimps has become a hot topic.However,experimental study on this problem is unacceptable for industrial applications due to unsustainable cost.A hybrid method that couples computational fluid dynamics(CFD)with computational aeroacoustic software is used to predict the flow-induced noise of pumps in order to minimize the noise of centrifugal pumps in actual projects.Under Langthjem’s assumption that the blade surface pressure is the main flow-induced acoustic source in centrifugal pumps,the blade surface pressure pulsation is considered in terms of the acoustical sources and simulated using CFX software.The pressure pulsation and noise distribution in the near-cutoff region are examined for the blade-passing frequency(BPF)noise,and the sound pressure level(SPL)reached peaks near the cutoff that corresponded with the pressure pulsation in this region.An experiment is performed to validate this prediction.Four hydrophones are fixed to the inlet and outlet ports of the test pump to measure the flow-induced noise from the four-port model.The simulation results for the noise are analyzed and compared with the experimental results.The variation in the calculated noise with changes in the flow agreed well with the experimental results.When the flow rate was increased,the SPL first decreased and reached the minimum near the best efficient point(BEP);it then increased when the flow rate was further increased.The numerical and experimental results confirmed that the BPF noise generated by a blade-rotating dipole roughly reflects the acoustic features of centrifugal pumps.The noise simulation method in current study has a good feasibility and suitability,which could be adopted in engineering design to predict and optimize the hydroacoustic behavior of centrifugal pumps. | YANG Jun YUAN Shouqi YUAN Jianping SI Qiaorui PEI Ji | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,3: | 16 |

| 6 | Numerical Investigation on Fluid Structure Interaction Considering Rotor Deformation for a Centrifugal Pump显示文摘The existing research for unsteady flow field and the corresponding flow induced vibration analysis of centrifugal pump are mainly carried out respectively without considering the interaction between fluid and structure. The ignorance of fluid structure interaction (FSI) means that the energy transfer between fluid and structure is neglected. To some extent, the accuracy and reliability of unsteady flow and rotor deflection analysis should be affected by this interaction mechanism. In this paper, a combined calculation between two executables for turbulent flow and vibrating structure was established using two-way coupling method to study the effect of FSI. Pressure distributions, radial forces, rotor deflection and equivalent stress are analyzed. The results show that the FSI effect to pressure distribution in flow field is complex. The pressure distribution is affected not only around impeller outlet where different variation trends of pressure values with and without FSI appear according to different relative positions between blade and cutwater, but also in the diffusion section of volute. Variation trends of peak values of radial force amplitude calculated with and without FSI are nearly same under high flow rate and designed conditions while the peak value with FSI is slightly smaller, and differently, the peak value with FSI is larger with low flow rate. In addition, the effect of FSI on the angle of radial force is quite complex, especially under 0.5Q condition. Fluctuation of radial deflection of the rotor has obvious four periods, of which the extent is relatively small under design condition and is relatively large under off-design condition. Finally, fluctuations of equivalent stress with time are obvious under different conditions, and stress value is small. | 7 | Effects of grass contour hedgerow systems on controlling soil erosion in red soil hilly areas,Southeast China显示文摘Soil erosion by water is a well-recognized serious environmental problem in the world.While contour hedgerow systems are an effective method for soil water conservation,there are a few studies on its effect in the red soil hilly areas in Southeast China.With a fixed field experiment,we constructed a runoff plot at hilly area in Zhuji County,Zhejiang province,to evaluate the effect of the grass hedgerows in soil water conservation,and to determine the optimized hedgerow patterns.Hemerocallis citrine(HC)and Ophiopogon japonicas(OJ) were selected to build the hedgerows in patterns of one row and two rows.The REE method was used to trace the source of the sediment for a better understanding of the characteristic and mechanism of erosion with hedgerows control.Our results showed that(1) hedgerows reduced erosion and surface runoff by 31.99-67.22%and 15.44-45.11%,respectively;(2) hedgerows delayed the development of rills;(3) hedgerows reduced the soil nutrients loss;(4) hedgerows reshaped the soil physical properties,especially in increasing > 0.25 mm water-stable aggregates.Taken together,our results suggest that two-row OJ is the optimized contour hedgerow pattern in the experiment condition,and downward sloping land should have the highest priority to take measures for soil water conservation.This research comprehensively studied the effects and mechanism of contour hedgerows in controlling soil and water loss in red soil hilly areas,Southeast China,so that the practice of soil and water conservation can be implemented more effectively in these areas. | Ji Fan Lijiao Yan Pei Zhang Ge Zhang | 2015 | International Journal of Sediment Research2015,30,2: | 13 |
| 8 | Optimization on the Impeller of a Low-specific-speed Centrifugal Pump for Hydraulic Performance Improvement显示文摘In order to widen the high-efficiency operating range of a low-specific-speed centrifugal pump, an optimization process for considering efficiencies under 1.0Q_d and 1.4Q_d is proposed. Three parameters, namely, the blade outlet width b_2, blade outlet angle β_2, and blade wrap angle φ, are selected as design variables. Impellers are generated using the optimal Latin hypercube sampling method. The pump efficiencies are calculated using the software CFX 14.5 at two operating points selected as objectives. Surrogate models are also constructed to analyze the relationship between the objectives and the design variables. Finally, the particle swarm optimization algorithm is applied to calculate the surrogate model to determine the best combination of the impeller parameters. The results show that the performance curve predicted by numerical simulation has a good agreement with the experimental results. Compared with the efficiencies of the original impeller, the hydraulic efficiencies of the optimized impeller are increased by 4.18% and 0.62% under 1.0Q_d and 1.4Q_d, respectively. The comparison of inner flow between the original pump and optimized one illustrates the improvement of performance. | 9 | Experimental Investigation on the Flow-induced Noise under Variable Conditions for Centrifugal Pumps显示文摘With extensively using of centrifugal pumps,noise generation in these pumps is increasingly receiving research attention in recent years.The noise sources in centrifugal pumps are mainly composed of mechanical noise and flow-induced noise.And the study of flow-induced noise has become a hotspot and important domain in the field.The flow-induced noise closely related to the inner pressure pulses and vibration of volute in pumps,therefore,it is necessary to research the interaction and mechanism among them.To investigate the relationships,a test system is designed which includes a test loop and a measurement system.The hydrophones and pressure sensors are installed on the outlet of the pump and vibration acceleration sensors are disposed on the pump body.Via these instruments,the signals of noise,pressure pulses and vibration are collected and analyzed.The results show that the level of flow-induced noise becomes smaller as the flow increment during low flow rate operations,and it is steadily close to the design point,then it increases with the growing of flow rate in high flow rate conditions.Furthermore,there are some similar peak points in the power spectrum charts of noise,pressure pulses and vibration.The broadband noise at low flow rate is mostly focused on the region of 0-40 times shaft frequency,which is mostly made by rotating stall and vortex;while the noise at high flow rate conditions is focused on the region of 60-100 times shaft frequency,which may be mostly made by cavitations.The proposed research is of practical and academic significance to the study of noise reduction for centrifugal pumps. | YUAN Shouqi YANG Jun YUAN Jianping LUO Yin PEI Ji | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,3: | 12 |

| 12 | Dynamic Stress Analysis of Sewage Centrifugal Pump Impeller Based on Two-way Coupling Method显示文摘Current research on the operational reliability of centrifugal pumps has mainly focused on hydrodynamic instability. However, the interaction between the fluid and structure has not been sufficiently considered; this interaction can cause vibration and dynamic stress, which can affect the reliability. In this study, the dynamic stresses in a single-blade centrifugal pump impeller are analysed under different operating conditions; the two-way coupling method is used to calculate the fluid–structure interaction. Three-dimensional unsteady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations are solved with the SST k–ω turbulence model for the fluid in the whole flow passage, while transient structure dynamic analysis is used with the finite element method for the structure side. The dynamic stresses in the rotor system are computed according to the fourth strength theory. The stress results show that the highest stress is near the loose bearing and that the equivalent stress increases with the flow rate because the dynamic stresses are closely related to the pressure load. The stress distributions on the blade pressure side, suction side, leading edge, and trailing edge are each analysed for different flow rates; the highest stress distribution is found on the pressure side. On the blade pressure side, a relatively large stress is found near the trailing edge and hub side. Based on these results, a stress distribution prediction method is proposed for centrifugal pumps, which considers the interaction between the fluid and structure. | 13 | Effect of chrysanthemum extract on myocardial fibrosis in rats with renovascular hypertension显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the inhibitory effect of chrysanthemum extract on myocardial fibrosis in rats with renovascular hypertension, and explore the possible mechanism underlying this effect.METHODS: Sixty Wistar rats were randomly divided into six groups: sham operation, model, positive control, and low-, medium-, and high-dose Huai chrysanthemum extract groups(ten rats per group). With the exception of the sham operation group, a renal hypertensive model was established in rats using the 'two-kidney, one clip' method. After 6 weeks, low-, medium-, and high-dose groups were intragastrically administered chrysanthemum extract at 1, 2, or 4 g/kg, respectively, once daily for 4 weeks. The positive control group was administered Kato Pury at 50 mg/kg once daily for 4 weeks,while sham operation and model groups received an equal volume of distilled water once daily for 4 weeks. Blood pressure changes were examined before modeling, 6 weeks after modeling, and after 4 weeks of treatment administration. Ventricular remodeling indexes were measured by high frequency echocardiography after 4 weeks of treatment administration. Pathological changes were observed by hematoxylin and eosin, and Masson’s trichrome staining methods. Collagen type sion were eⅠxa(Col minedⅠ) and type Ⅲ(Col Ⅲ) expres by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays. Transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1), sma mad 3(Smad3),Smad7, Ras homolog gene family, member A(RhoA), and Rho-associated protein kinase 1(ROCK1) protein expression were detected by Western blot.RESULTS: Compared with the model group, chrysanthemum-administered groups and the positive control group showed significant improvement of arterial blood pressure, echocardiography indicators, and degree of myocardial fibrosis(P < 0.05). In addition, these groups exhibited decreased expression of Col Ⅰ, Col Smad3, and increaseⅢ, RhoA, ROCK1, TGF-β1, and d Smad7 expression. | 14 | Cavitation Optimization for a Centrifugal Pump Impeller by Using Orthogonal Design of Experiment显示文摘Cavitation is one of the most important performance of centrifugal pumps. However, the current optimization works of centrifugal pump are mostly focusing on hydraulic efficiency only, which may result in poor cavitation performance. Therefore, it is necessary to find an appropriate solution to improve cavitation performance with acceptable efficiency. In this paper, to improve the cavitation performance of a centrifugal pump with a vaned diffuser, the influence of impeller geometric parameters on the cavitation of the pump is investigated using the orthogonal design of experiment(DOE) based on computational fluid dynamics. The impeller inlet diameter D_1, inlet incidence angle Δβ, and blade wrap angle φ are selected as the main impeller geometric parameters and the orthogonal experiment of L_9(3*3) is performed. Three-dimensional steady simulations for cavitation are conducted by using constant gas mass fraction model with second-order upwind, and the predicated cavitation performance is validated by laboratory experiment. The optimization results are obtained by the range analysis method to improve cavitation performance without obvious decreasing the efficiency of the centrifugal pump. The internal flow of the pump is analyzed in order to identify the flow behavior that can affect cavitation performance. The results show that D_1 has the greatest influence on the pump cavitation and the final optimized impeller provides better flow distribution at blade leading edge. The final optimized impeller accomplishes better cavitation and hydraulic performance and the NPSHR decreases by 0.63 m compared with the original one. | 15 | A study on the pathogen species and physiological races of tomato Fusarium wilt in Shanxi,China显示文摘In order to clarify the main pathogens of tomato Fusarium wilt in Shanxi Province, China, morphological identification, elongation factor 1 alpha(EF-1α) sequence analysis, specific primer amplification and pathogenicity tests were applied to study the isolates which were recovered from diseased plants collected from 17 different districts of Shanxi Province. The results were as follows: 1) Through morphological and molecular identification, the following 7 species of Fusarium were identified: F. oxysporum, F. solani, F. verticillioides, F. subglutinans, F. chlamydosporum, F. sporotrichioides, and F. semitectum; 2) 56 isolates of F. oxysporum were identified using specific primer amplification, among which, 29, 5 and 6 isolates were respectively identified as F. oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici physiological race 1, race 2, and race 3; 3) pathogenicity test indicated the significant pathogenicity of F. oxysporum, F. solani, F. verticillioides, and F. subglutinans to tomato plant. Therefore, among these 4 species confirmed as pathogenic to tomato in Shanxi, the highest isolation rate(53.3%) corresponded to F. oxysporum. | 18 | Effects of Constant versus Fluctuating Incubation Temperatures on Hatching Success, Incubation Length, and Hatchling Morphology in the Chinese Skink (Plestiodon chinensis)显示文摘We incubated eggs of Plestiodon chinensis under five constant(24, 26, 28, 30, and 32 °C) and one fluctuating thermal regimes to examine the effects of constant versus fluctuating incubation temperatures on hatching success, incubation length, and hatchling morphology. The duration of incubation varied considerably among the six temperature treatments, whereas hatching success did not. The mean incubation length decreased as temperature increased in a nonlinear way, and increased as the thermal variance increased. Incubation temperature affected the body size(linear length and mass) and shape of hatchlings, with eggs incubated at 26, 28, and 30 °C producing larger and heavier hatchlings than did those incubated at 24 °C, 32 °C, or fluctuating temperatures. Our results showed that exposure of P. chinensis eggs to extreme temperatures for brief periods of time did not increase embryonic mortality and, in the fluctuating-temperature treatment, the thermal variance affected hatchling morphology more evidently than the thermal mean. Acupuncture is used in the treatment and prevention of migraine for its analgesic effects.Objective: The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to systematically assess the therapeutic and preventive effect of acupuncture treatment and its safety for MWoA.Search strategy: Nine electronic databases(PubMed, MEDLINE, Cochrane Library, Lilacs, Embase, China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI), Chongqing VIP(CQVIP), Wanfang Data and Chinese Clinical Trial Registry(ChiCTR)) were systematically searched from their beginning through June 2017 using MeSH terms such as 'acupuncture, acupuncture therapy, electro-acupuncture, ear acupuncture, acupuncture points, acupuncture analgesia,' and 'migraine disorders, cluster headache.' Manual searching included other conference abstracts and reference lists.Inclusion criteria: Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) with a clinical diagnosis of MWoA, which were treated with acupuncture versus oral medication or sham acupuncture treatment.Data extraction and analysis: Two evaluators screened and collected literature independently; they extracted information on participants, study design, interventions, follow-up, withdrawal and adverse events and assessed risk of bias and quality of the acupuncture intervention. The primary outcomes were frequency of migraine(FM) and number of migraine days(NM). Secondary outcomes included the visual analogue scale(VAS) score, effective rate(ER) and adverse events. Pooled estimates were calculated as mean difference(MD) with 95% confidence interval(CI) for continuous data and relative risk(RR) with95% CI for dichotomous data.Results: Overall, 14 RCTs including 1155 participants were identified. The analysis found that acupuncture had a significant advantage over medication in reducing FM(MD =-1.50; 95% CI:-2.32 to-0.68;P<0.001) and VAS score(MD = 0.97; 95% CI: 0.63-1.31; P<0.00001) and had a higher ER(RR= 1.30;95% CI: 1.16-1.45; P< 0.00001). Acupuncture also had a significant advantage over sham acupuncture in the decrease of FM(MD =-1.05; 95% CI:-1.75 to-0.34; P= 0.004) and VAS score(MD=-1.19;95% CI:-1.75 to-0.63; P< 0.0001). Meanwhile, acupuncture was more tolerated than medication because of less side effect reports(RR = 0.29; 95% CI: 0.17-0.51; P< 0.0001). However, the quality of evidence in the included studies was mainly low(to very low), making confidence in the FM and VAS score results low.Conclusion: Our meta-analysis shows that the effectiveness of acupuncture is still uncertain, but it might be relatively safer than medication therapy in the treatment and prophylaxis of MWoA. | 20 | Sources and distribution of sedimentary organic matter along the northern Bering and Chukchi Seas显示文摘In this study, lignin-derived phenols were used to determine the sources and distribution of sedimentary organic matter along the northern Bering Sea and Chukchi Sea of the Arctic Ocean. The lignin parameter syringyl/vanillyl(S/V) and cinnamyl/vanillyl(C/V) ratios are used to indicate vegetation sources; and the ratios of vanillic acid/vanillin,(Ad/Al)v and syringic acid/syringaldehyde,(Ad/Al)s are used as indicators of lignin diagenesis. Results showed the predominance of woody gymnosperm signal at the easternmost location in the northern Bering Sea, a mixture of refractory non-woody angiosperm and fresher gymnosperm tissues in the Chukchi Sea, and signal of fresher woody gymnosperm tissues in the northernmost locations in the Chukchi Sea. The lignin materials showed gradual increase in decomposition stage during transport along the northern Bering Sea. Hydrodynamic sorting process, which is the retention of coarser materials nearshore and transportation of finer particles farther offshore, most probably occurred along the east coast of the northern Bering Sea. In Chukchi Sea, the non-woody angiosperm tissues could have originated from the Canadian Arctic and gymnosperm tissues could be from the Russian Arctic side.
