| 2 | Adiponectin deficiency enhances colorectal carcinogenesis and liver tumor formation induced by azoxymethane in mice显示文摘AIM:To investigate the causal relationship between hypoadiponectinemia and colorectal carcinogenesis in in vivo experimental model,and to determine the con-tribution of adiponectin defi ciency to colorectal cancer development and proliferation.METHODS:We examined the influence of adiponectin defi ciency on colorectal carcinogenesis induced by the administration of azoxymethane(AOM)(7.5 mg/kg,in-traperitoneal injection once a week for 8 wk),by using adiponectin-knockout(KO) mice.RESULTS:At 53 wk after the fi rst AOM treatment,KOmice developed larger and histologically more progres-sive colorectal tumors with greater frequency com-pared with wild-type(WT) mice,although the tumor incidence was not different between WT and KO mice.KO mice showed increased cell proliferation of colorec-tal tumor cells,which correlated with the expression levels of cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2) in the colorectal tumors.In addition,KO mice showed higher incidence and frequency of liver tumors after AOM treatment.Thirteen percent of WT mice developed liver tumors,and these WT mice had only a single tumor.In contrast,50% of KO mice developed liver tumors,and 58% of these KO mice had multiple tumors.CONCLUSION:Adiponectin deficiency enhances colorectal carcinogenesis and liver tumor formation induced by AOM in mice.This study strongly suggests that hypoadiponectinemia could be involved in the pathogenesis for colorectal cancer and liver tumor in human subjects. | Tamao Nishihara Miyako Baba Morihiro Matsuda Masahiro Inoue Yasuko Nishizawa Atsunori Fukuhara Hiroshi Araki Shinji Kihara Tohru Funahashi Shinji Tamura Norio Hayashi Hiroyasu Iishi Iichiro Shimomura | 2008 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2008，14，42： | 12 |

| 4 | Can harvest outsourcing services reduce field harvest losses of rice in China?显示文摘The purpose of this study is to quantify the rice harvest losses in China and to evaluate the impacts of machinery and harvest outsourcing services on these losses,given the background of high-speed mechanization and outsourcing services.Data were collected from a national survey conducted in 2016 by the research team in conjunction with the Research Center for the Rural Economy of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China.A non-parametric method was used to test whether combine harvesting and outsourcing services could significantly reduce harvest losses.Next,quantile regression was used to estimate the real effects of machinery and outsourcing services on harvest losses.The analysis yielded four main study outcomes.First,the harvest loss rate of rice in China was 3.65%.Second,mechanical reaping and winnowing caused greater losses than manual methods,while the opposite was true of field transportation.Third,combine harvesting increased the losses.Fourth,the effects of an outsourcing service on losses differed among the different harvesting methods.Outsourcing services increased losses in segmented harvesting but they reduced losses in combine harvesting. | QU Xue Daizo KOJIMA Yukinaga NISHIHARA WU La-ping Mitsuyoshi ANDO | 2021 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2021，20，5： | 4 |

| 14 | Technical Development of Simple Shear Deformation Experiments Using a Deformation-DIA Apparatus显示文摘Technical developments for simple shear deformation experiments at high pressures were made. The newly designed cell assembly can be compressed by deformation-DIA apparatuses with the MA 6-6 system, which consists of six second-stage tungsten carbide anvils (with a truncated edge length of 5 mm) and the anvil guide. Deformation of samples was barely observed during the compression process, showing that the shear strain of the deformed samples can be measured by the rotation of a strain marker. Simple shear deformation experiments on anhydrous and hydrous oli-vine aggregates were conducted under upper mantle conditions (pressures of 5.2–7.6 GPa and tem-peratures of 1 473–1 573 K), and sample deformation with a shear strain of γ=0.8–1.2 was success-fully achieved at a shear strain rate of 4.0×10-5–7.5×10-5 s-1.
