1Biothiol-specific fluorescent probes with aggregation-induced emission characteristics显示文摘Biothiols are important species in physiological processes such as regulating protein structures, redox homeostasis and cell signalling. Alternation in the biothiol levels is associated with various pathological processes, therefore non-invasive fluorescent probes with high specificity to biothiols are highly desirable research utilities. Meanwhile, fluorescent probes with aggregationinduced emission properties(AIEgens) possess unique photophysical properties that allow modulation of the sensing process through controlling the aggregation-disaggregation or the intramolecular rotational motions of the fluorophores. Herein we review the recent progress in the development of biothiol-specific AIEgens. 3BUB1B and circBUB1B_544aa aggravate multiple myeloma malignancy through evoking chromosomal instability显示文摘Multiple myeloma(MM)is an incurable plasma cell malignancy in the bone marrow characterized by chromosome instability(CIN),which contributes to the acquisition of heterogeneity,along with MM progression,drug resistance,and relapse.In this study,we elucidated that the expression of BUB1B increased strikingly in MM patients and was closely correlated with poor outcomes.Overexpression of BUB1B facilitated cellular proliferation and induced drug resistance in vitro and in vivo,while genetic targeting BUB1B abrogated this effect.Mechanistic studies unveiled that enforced expression of BUB1B evoked CIN resulting in MM poor outcomes mainly through phosphorylating CEP170.Interestingly,we discovered the existence of circBUB1B_544aa containing the kinase catalytic center of BUB1B,which was translated by a circular RNA of BUB1B.The circBUB1B_544aa elevated in MM peripheral blood samples was closely associated with MM poor outcomes and played a synergistic effect with BUB1B on evoking CIN.In addition,MM cells could secrete circBUB1B_544aa and interfere the MM microenvironmental cells in the same manner as BUB1B full-length protein.Intriguingly,BUB1B siRNA,targeting the kinase catalytic center of both BUB1B and circBUB1B_544aa,significantly inhibited MM malignancy in vitro and in vivo.Collectively,BUB1B and circBUB1B_544aa are promising prognostic and therapeutic targets of MM.Xiaozhu Tang Mengjie guo Pinggang Ding Zhendong Deng Mengying Ke Yuxia Yuan Yanyan Zhou Zigen Lin Muxi Li Chunyan Gu Xiaosong Gu Ye Yang 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,11:2
4Fotemustine-based therapy in combination with rituximab as a first-line induction chemotherapy followed by WBRT for newly diagnosed primary central nervous system lymphoma: a prospective phase II trial显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to evaluate the safety,efficacy,and feasibility of the rituximab,fotemustine,pemetrexed,and dexamethasone(R-FPD)regimen followed by whole-brain radiotherapy(WBRT)for patients with primary central nervous system lymphoma(PCNSL).Methods:A prospective,single-center phase II clinical trial was conducted.Patients with PCNSL newly diagnosed at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University between July 2018 and July 2020 were studied.The R-FPD regimen consisted of rituximab(375 mg/m2 i.v.on D0),fotemustine(100 mg/m2 i.v.on D1),pemetrexed(600 mg/m2 i.v.on D1),and dexamethasone(40 mg i.v.on D1-5).Patients 60 years or younger who showed a complete response(CR)were treated with 23.4 Gy of WBRT after the end of chemotherapy;those older than 60 years with CR were treated with a wait-and-see approach;and those who did not show CR after the 4th cycle of chemotherapy were given salvage WBRT 30 Gy+local tumor field irradiation up to 45 Gy,regardless of age.Results:A total of 30 patients were included.After 2 cycles,the objective response rate(ORR)was 96.5%(28/29,1 CR,27 PR,0 SD,and 1 PD).After 4 cycles,the ORR was 73.1%(19/26,11 CR,8 PR,4 SD,and 3 PD).After WBRT,the ORR was 90.9%(10/11,7 CR,3 PR,and 1 SD).The grade III and IV toxicity responses were mainly leukopenia(20.0%),thrombocytopenia(23.3%),and anemia(10.0%).Conclusions:Fotemustine-based therapy in combination with rituximab chemotherapy followed by WBRT can improve outcomes,providing ORR benefits and favorable tolerability in patients newly diagnosed with PCNSL.Jingjing Wu Fenghua Gao Wenhua Wang Xudong Zhang Meng Dong Lei Zhang Xin Li Ling Li Zhenchang Sun Xinhua Wang Xiaorui Fu Linan Zhu Mengjie Ding Songtao Niu Zhaoming Li Yu Chang Feifei Nan Jiaqian Yan Hui Yu Xiaolong Wu Zhiyuan Zhou Jieming Zhang Mingzhi Zhang 2022Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,7:1

6Simulation and visualization of spraying droplets behavior and deposition within virtual rice canopy显示文摘Models for accurately simulating pesticide droplet deposition and transmission mechanism in rice canopies can provide an effective and economic tool to optimize methods for spraying pesticides,adjuvant formulation,and spray parameters.However,the current studies on the modeling of spray droplet deposition within rice plants are still very limited.Aiming at this problem,a method to model and visualize spray transmission and deposition within the canopy of rice plants was proposed.Firstly,a particle system was used to simulate the spraying scene of droplets.Then an improved method to determine the behavior of rebound and shatter of the droplets in the virtual scene was proposed.The deposition of spraying droplets on a leaf was calculated according to the inclination angles of the leaf,the characteristics of the leaf surface,and the physical and spatial characteristics of the droplets.The experiment shows that the method can simulate the behavior of the spraying droplets within a virtual scene of a rice plant,which may provide a reference for the study of spray deposition in the canopy of the crop.Weilong Ding Fenglong Zhu Mengjie Jin Lifeng Xu Yuping Zhang 2022International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,5:0
7Stable Isotopes and Halogen Geochemistry of the Huayuan Carbonate-hosted Pb-Zn Ore District, South China: Implications for the Salt Source of Ore-forming Fluids显示文摘The Huayuan Pb-Zn ore district in China,located in western Hunan Province,is a giant carbonate-hosted Pb-Zn ore district.The source of ore-forming brines in this ore district remains poorly constrained.Whether the highly saline brines are derived from evaporated seawater or dissolved evaporates continues to be intensely debated.Carbonate minerals associated with Pb-Zn mineralization haveδ^(13)CV-PDB andδ^(18)OV-SMOW values ranging from−5.55‰to+1.35‰(mean value of−0.69‰;n=14)and+16.28‰to+25.05‰(mean value of+20.22‰;n=14),respectively.This indicates that carbonate minerals are dominantly formed from dissolved ore-hosted carbonate rocks.Theδ^(34)S values of sulfides range from+20.2‰to+36.8‰,with an average value of+30.0‰(n=27).These results suggest that sulfur is predominantly derived from the thermochemical sulfate reduction of marine sulfate.The crush-leach analyzed solute data of fluid inclusions in sphalerite show the ore-forming fluids have Cl/Br molar ratios range from 118 to 384,and Na/Br molar ratios from 39 to 160(n=8).These Cl/Br ratios of hydrothermal fluid are much lower than those of seawater(657 to 564),but are consistent with bittern brines through early halite precipitation.We propose that ore-forming fluids are mainly derived from evaporitic basin brines,which leached base metals from the basement and/or country rocks.The brine then migrated to the basin margins through clastic rocks of basement and then precipitated sulfides by thermochemical sulfate reduction.YANG Zhen JIANG Mengjie ZHAO Shaorui DING Zhenju HE Mouchun 2022Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,2:0
8Simultaneously enhancing capacity and security in free-space optical chaotic communication utilizing orbital angular momentum显示文摘Optical chaotic signals emitted from an external-cavity feedback or injected laser diode enable small-signal information concealment in a noise-like carrier for secure optical communications.Due to the chaotic bandwidth limitation resulting from intrinsic relaxation oscillation frequency of lasers,multiplexing of optical chaotic signal,such as wavelength division multiplexing in fiber,is a typical candidate for high-capacity secure applications.However,to our best knowledge,the utilization of the spatial dimension of optical chaos for free-space secure communication has not yet been reported.Here,we experimentally demonstrate a free-space all-optical chaotic communication system that simultaneously enhances transmission capacity and security by orbital angular momentum(OAM)multiplexing.Optical chaotic signals with two different OAM modes totally carrying 20 Gbps on-off keying signals are secretly transmitted over a 2 m free-space link,where the channel crosstalk of OAM modes is less than-20 d B,with the mode spacing no less than 3.The receiver can extract valid information only when capturing approximately 92.5% of the OAM beam and correctly demodulating the corresponding mode.Bit error rate below the 7%hard-decision forward error correction threshold of 3.8×10^(-3)can be achieved for the intended recipient.Moreover,a simulated weak turbulence is introduced to comprehensively analyze the influence on the system performance,including channel crosstalk,chaotic synchronization,and transmission performance.Our work may inspire structured light application in optical chaos and pave a new way for developing future high-capacity free-space chaotic secure communication systems.YIQUN ZHANG MINGFENG XU MINGBO PU MENGJIE ZHOU JIAZHENG DING SHUANGCHENG CHEN KUN QIU NING JIANG XIANGANG LUO 2023Photonics Research2023,11,12:0
9HSP90B1-mediated plasma membrane localization of GLUT1 promotes radioresistance of glioblastomas显示文摘Ionizing radiation is a popular and effective treatment option for glioblastoma(GBM).However,resistance to radiation therapy inevitably occurs during treatment.It is urgent to investigate the mechanisms of radioresistance in GBM and to find ways to improve radiosensitivity.Here,we found that heat shock protein 90 beta family member 1(HSP90B1)was significantly upregulated in radioresistant GBM cell lines.More importantly,HSP90B1 promoted the localization of glucose transporter type 1,a key rate-limiting factor of glycolysis,on the plasma membrane,which in turn enhanced glycolytic activity and subsequently tumor growth and radioresistance of GBM cells.These findings imply that targeting HSP90B1 may effectively improve the efficacy of radiotherapy for GBM patients,a potential new approach to the treatment of glioblastoma.Yanhui Li Yuqian Ge Mengjie Zhao Fangshu Ding Xiuxing Wang Zhumei Shi Xin Ge Xiefeng Wang Xu Qian 2023The Journal of Biomedical Research2023,37,5:0
10Immigration,transformation,and emission control of sulfur and nitrogen during gasification of MSW:Fundamental and engineering review显示文摘This paper proposes a comprehensive summary and analysis of an important issue during municipal solid waste(MSW)gasification-sulfur and nitrogen pollution.It provides an overview of the fundamentals of MSW and the basic aspects of nitrogen and sulfur elements.Their characteristics of immigration,transformation and distribution during gasification with control solutions in realized or potential engineering are also concluded.The analysis indicates that the complete scenario of the occurrence form of sulfur and nitrogen elements in MSW is difficult to obtain,owing to the diverse sources and complicated compositions.However,with the assistance of advanced characterization and quantification methods(XPS,XRD,TG-FTIR,et al.),the common sulfur-and nitrogen-containing compounds in both organic and inorganic states can be detected.Adjustment of gasification conditions can regulate the transformation of these elements for emission control.The multiple pollutants including H_(2)S,SO_(x),COS,NH_(3),HCN and NO_(x)cannot be eliminated by one-step treatment but a combination of adsorption and catalytic treatments may realize the control goal.This research aims to benefit meeting emission standards during MSW gasification and to provide a reference for other processes such as incineration,pyrolysis and other feedstocks like biomass and refuse derived fuel(RDF).Shuchao Cheng Xueyu Ding Xinxin Dong Mengjie Zhang Xinqi Tian Yang Liu Yaji Huang Baosheng Jin 2023Carbon Resources Conversion2023,6,3:0
11Effect of Na^(+)on catalytic performance of CoCe/ZSM-5 catalysts for oxidation of toluene显示文摘A CoCe/ZSM-5 catalyst was prepared by ultrasonic-assisted impregnation for the catalytic combustion of toluene.To study the effect of Na+on catalytic performance of CoCe/ZSM-5 catalysts,a series of different Si/Al ZSM-5 zeolites and catalysts doped with Na were synthesized.The experimental results show that 0.71 wt%Na+can inhibit active growth,generate more active small crystal grains,and promote improvement of the catalytic activity by the grain boundary segregation block mechanism,and the catalyst with 0.71 wt%of Na shows toluene conversion of 90 vol%at 250℃.Over 0.71 wt%of Na+content will neutralize the acid centre of the catalyst,lowering the specific surface area of the catalyst and resulting in a gradual decrease in the catalytic activity.Qingping Zou Mingqing Liu Mengjie Fan Yaping Ding Yingwen Chen Shubao Shen 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,4:0
