1Cytokine- and chemokine-induced inflammatory colorectal tumor microenvironment: Emerging avenue for targeted therapy显示文摘Colorectal cancer(CRC)is a predominant life-threatening cancer,with liver and peritoneal metastases as the primary causes of death.Intestinal inflammation,a known CRC risk factor,nurtures a local inflammatory environment enriched with tumor cells,endothelial cells,immune cells,cancer-associated fibroblasts,immunosuppressive cells,and secretory growth factors.The complex interactions of aberrantly expressed cytokines,chemokines,growth factors,and matrix-remodeling enzymes promote CRC pathogenesis and evoke systemic responses that affect disease outcomes.Mounting evidence suggests that these cytokines and chemokines play a role in the progression of CRC through immunosuppression and modulation of the tumor microenvironment,which is partly achieved by the recruitment of immunosuppressive cells.These cells impart features such as cancer stem cell-like properties,drug resistance,invasion,and formation of the premetastatic niche in distant organs,promoting metastasis and aggressive CRC growth.A deeper understanding of the cytokineand chemokine-mediated signaling networks that link tumor progression and metastasis will provide insights into the mechanistic details of disease aggressiveness and facilitate the development of novel therapeutics for CRC.Here,we summarized the current knowledge of cytokine-and chemokine-mediated crosstalk in the inflammatory tumor microenvironment,which drives immunosuppression,resistance to therapeutics,and metastasis during CRC progression.We also outlined the potential of this crosstalk as a novel therapeutic target for CRC.The major cytokine/chemokine pathways involved in cancer immunotherapy are also discussed in this review.Ajaz A.Bhat Sabah Nisar Mayank Singh Bazella Ashraf Tariq Masoodi Chandra P.Prasad Atul Sharma Selma Maacha Thasni Karedath Sheema Hashem Syed Besina Yasin Puneet Bagga Ravinder Reddy Michael P.Frennaux Shahab Uddin Punita Dhawan Mohammad Haris Muzafar A.Macha 2022Cancer Communications2022,42,8:8

3Fear of missing out: A brief overview of origin, theoretical underpinnings and relationship with mental health显示文摘Fear of missing out(FoMO)is a unique term introduced in 2004 to describe a phenomenon observed on social networking sites.FoMO includes two processes;firstly,perception of missing out,followed up with a compulsive behavior to maintain these social connections.We are interested in understanding the complex construct of FoMO and its relations to the need to belong and form stable interpersonal relationships.It is associated with a range of negative life experiences and feelings,due to it being considered a problematic attachment to social media.We have provided a general review of the literature and have summarized the findings in relation to mental health,social functioning,sleep,academic performance and productivity,neuro-developmental disorders,and physical well-being.We have also discussed the treatment options available for FoMo based on cognitive behavior therapy.It imperative that new findings on FoMO are communicated to the clinical community as it has diagnostic implications and could be a confounding variable in those who do not respond to treatment as usual.Mayank Gupta Aditya Sharma 2021World Journal of Clinical Cases2021,9,19:4
4南欧派利吞草石油醚提取物对雄性大鼠性行为的影响(英文)显示文摘目的:检测南欧派利吞草石油醚提取物(petroleum ether extract,PEE)对雄性大鼠性行为的影响。方法:制备南欧派利吞草PEE。32只雄性Wistar大鼠分成对照组、睾酮组、低剂量PEE组和高剂量PEE组,每组8只。对照组大鼠灌胃花生油(溶剂对照),睾酮组大鼠肌肉注射0.5mg/kg睾酮,每周2次,低剂量和高剂量PEE组大鼠分别灌胃50和100mg/kgPEE,治疗持续28d。于治疗前,治疗第15天、第28天和治疗后第7天、第15天,检测大鼠体质量,治疗结束后,取4只大鼠性器官(睾丸、附睾、精囊、前列腺)称取质量,其余4只大鼠用于检测大鼠的性取向行为和性功能。结果:与对照组大鼠比较,PEE治疗28d可明显增加雄性大鼠的体质量和性器官质量,雄性大鼠易于接受雌性大鼠和对雌性大鼠趋向性增加,雄性大鼠性能力增加,表现为舔、嗅雌性大鼠肛门和生殖器,阴茎勃起指数增加,交配潜伏期缩短,交配频率增加。在PEE治疗结束后7和15d仍观察到以上行为和性指标的变化。结论:与睾酮不同的是,PEE治疗结束后7和15d仍可见明显治疗效果,提示南欧派利吞草能提高大鼠性潜能,并有延迟效应。Vikas Sharma Mayank Thakur Nagendra S.Chauhan Vinod Kumar Dixit 2010中西医结合学报2010,8,8:2
5Nosocomial diarrhea in children:is astrovirus the leading pathogen?显示文摘Objective:To screen for the presence of mixed infection with rotavirus.Methods:The present study included 140 children aged less than 2 years with acute diarrhea.Fecal samples of all these patients were analyzed for the presence of astroviral antigen by enzyme immunoassay.Also 40 rotavirus positive fecal samples were screened for the presence of astrovirus.Results:In case of acute diarrhea in children the prevalence of astrovirus was around 34% (48/140).It was seen that even in rotavirus positive cases astrovirus co infection was 25% .Conclusions:Astrovirus is a growing problem which is often underrecognised.With the rotavirus vaccine licensure being imminent astrovirus will emerge out as the single most important cause of viralAnita Chakravarti Manisha Jain Mayank Singh Chauhan Anju Sharma Sayani Tewari 2010Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2010,3,5:2

16Secure Cloud Data Storage System Using Hybrid Paillier–Blowsh Algorith显示文摘Cloud computing utilizes enormous clusters of serviceable and manageable resources that can be virtually and dynamically recongured in order to deliver optimum resource utilization by exploiting the pay-per-use model.However,concerns around security have been an impediment in the extensive adoption of the cloud computing model.In this regard,advancements in cryptography,accelerated by the wide usage of the internet worldwide,has emerged as a key area in addressing some of these security concerns.In this document,a hybrid cryptographic protocol deploying Blowsh and Paillier encryption algorithms has been presented and its strength compared with the existing hybrid Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)and Rivest Shamir Adleman(RSA)techniques.Algorithms for secure data storage protocol in two phases have been presented.The proposed hybrid protocol endeavors to improve the power of cloud storage through a decrease in computation time and ciphertext size.Simulations have been carried out with Oracle Virtual Box and Fog server used on an Ubuntu 16.04 platform.This grouping of asymmetric and homomorphic procedures has demonstrated enhanced security.Compression usage has helped in decreasing the storage space and computation time.Performance analysis in terms of computation overhead and quality of service parameters like loads of parameters with and without attacks,throughput,and stream length for different modes of block cipher mode has been carried out.Security analysis has been carried out by utilizing the Hardening Index as an audit parameter using Lynis 2.7.1.Similarly,for halting the aforementioned approaches and for regulating trafc,rewall protection has been generated in the chosen hybrid algorithms.Finally,enhancements in the performance of the Paillier and Blowsh hybrid scheme with and without compression compared to the existing schemes using RSA and AES procedures have been demonstrated.Bijeta Seth Surjeet Dalal Dac-Nhuong Le Vivek Jaglan Neeraj Dahiya Akshat Agrawal Mayank Mohan Sharma Deo Prakash K.D.Verma 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,4:0
17Evaluation of antimicrobial activity and bronchodialator effect of a polyherbal drug-Shrishadi显示文摘Objective:To investigate antimicrobial and bronchodialator effect of hydroalcholic extract of polyherbal drug Shirishadi containing Shirisha(Albezzia lebbeck),Nagarmotha(Cyprus ratandus) & Kantakari(Solanum xanthocarpum).Methods:Antimicrobial activity was evaluated by discdiffusion method and MIC,MBC,MFC were calculated by micro dilution method.Hydroalcholic extract of this preparation was investigated for its phytochemical analysis,phenol and Oavonoid were determined by speclrophotometric method and in vivo bronchodilator effect was analysed by convulsion time.Results:The phytochemical tests revealed presence of alkaloids, anthraquinones,carbohydrates,flavonoids,saponins and tannins.The antimicrobial result showed the MIC of 6.25 mg/ml.against Staphylococcus aureus and 12.5 mg/mL.for Escherichia coli and 12.5 mg/mL against remaining bacteria tested,with strong antifungal activity.The maximum inhibition zone is found against Pseudomonas aeruginosa with MIC 16 mg/mL Drug showed significant bronchodilator effect with 27.86%& 36.13%increase in preconvulsion time of guinea pigs prebeated with 100 & 200 mg/kg body weight of extract.Conclusions:The study reveals that the extracts possess antibacterial activity and antifungal activity in a dose dependent manner.
