2Experimental investigation of a 500 W traveling-wave thermoacoustic electricity generator显示文摘In this paper, an experimental investigation of a traveling-wave thermoacoustic electricity generator, which consists of a traveling-wave thermoacoustic heat engine and a linear alternator driven by that engine, is presented. Using the results of previous theoretical and experimental research, we designed and fabricated a traveling-wave thermoacoustic heat engine and a linear alternator. 4A comparison of polypore funga and species composition in forest ecosystems of China,North America,and Europe显示文摘Background:Polypores as components of forest ecosystems are an important group of wood-inhabiting fungi playing a key role in forest regeneration. Previously, studies on polypore funga and diversity were focused on limited areas within one land mass only. What are the polypore funga and species composition for large-scale of China, North America and Europe? The funga and species composition of polypores in the three land masses will supply an important source of reference for the distribution patterns of polypores at species level or higher taxa. In the present study the diversity and species composition of polypores in China, North America and Europe are compared based on published data.Methods:The species diversity, species composition, major genera and nutritional modes of polypores in the three land masses are comparatively analyzed.Results:A grand total of 1,337 polypore species, belonging to 11 orders, 43 families and 168 genera, have been recorded in these three land masses of the Northern Hemisphere, of which 854 species occur in China, 547 species in North America, and 432 species in Europe. Polyporales, Hymenochaetales and Russulales are the three major orders, and Hymenochaetaceae, Polyporaceae, and Fomitopsidaceae are the three major families. The brown rot fungi Antrodia and Postia have highest number of species at generic level in the three land masses. The proportionally highest number of white rot polypore species is in China (78.81%), followed by North America (73.86%)and then Europe (67.82%);conversely, the proportion of brown rot polypores is highest in Europe (28.47%) then North America (21.39%) and then China (15.57%).Conclusions:China had the highest polypore diversity followed by North America, and then Europe although North America is around twice as big as China and Europe. White rot is the major nutritional mode of all the polypores in China, North America and Europe accounting for 77.04%of all polypore species. The white rot species as a proportion of all polypores in each of the three land masses are highest in China, followed by North America and then Europe. The polypore diversity patterns are probably due to tree species diversity and the distribution patterns of angiosperm and gymnosperm trees in the three land masses. 5青海河湟谷地胃癌病理特征及其变化趋势分析(英文)显示文摘Objective: The aim of our study was to discuss changes in the clinicopathological characteristics of gastric cancer in Hehuang Valley of China in recent 10 years. Methods: A retrospective case-control study was performed on 2379 newly-diagnosed gastric cancer patients. All of them came from Hehuang Valley. The patients were divided into two groups [recent 5 years(R5Y) and late 5 years(L5Y)] from February 2003 to February 2013, and the clinicopathological data were surveyed retrospectively. Results: The constituent ratio of upper 1/3 gastric cancer in R5Y and L5Y was 33.5% and 20.7%, respectively, and it showed a significant difference between the two groups(χ2 = 21.28, P = 0.00). The constituent ratio of squamous carcinoma/adenosquamous carcinoma was 2.7% and 1.6%, respectively, and it also showed a significant difference between two groups(χ2 = 50.91, P = 0.00). The constituent ratio of moderately-poorly differentiated/poorly differentiated gastric carcinoma was 84.2% and 50.2%, respectively, and it showed statistically significant difference(χ2 = 30.28, P = 0.00). The detection rate of early gastric cancer(EGC) was 1.47%(35/2379). The constituent ratio of the types of Borrmann II and Borrmann IV of advanced gastric cancer(AGC) among 2379 cases was 47.6% and 40.8%, respectively, and that still showed statistically significant difference(χ2 = 18.80, P = 0.00). The constituent ratio of diffuse-type of gastric cancer in R5Y and L5Y was 36.2% and 30.8%, respectively, even there was a significant difference(χ2 = 7.49, P = 0.01). Furthermore, there were also significant differences in regional lymph nodes metastasis, perineural infiltration and vascular invasion(P < 0.05). The positive detection rate of HER2, ER and PR was 14.88%, 17.23% and 15.93%, respectively. The constituent ratio of HP in two groups was 43.8% and 36.2% respectively, and it also showed a significant difference(χ2 = 13.51, P = 0.00). Conclusion: The pathogenic sites in gastric cancer change to the upper stomach in Hehuang Valley in recent 10 years, and the detection rate of squamous carcinoma/adenosquamous carcinoma reveals a sharp rise. Borrmann III is still one of the main types of advanced gastric cancer, but the detection rates of Borrmann II and IV are increasing. The main type of gastric cancer is the intestinaltype, but the ratio of diffuse-type is also increasing in recent 10 years. The HP detection rate is 40.65%(967/2379), and it has a slight rise in recent 10 years. The detection rate of poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma is increasing despite the fact that the moderately/moderately-poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma is the main histologic types. High detection rates of lymph nodes metastasis, perineural infiltration and vascular invasion indicate poor prognosis in patients with gastric cancer. 8Recombinant E.coli LLO/OVA Vaccination Effectively Inhibits Murine Melanoma Metastasis to Lung by CD8^+T Cells Immunity显示文摘Objective:To construct recombinant E.coli LLO/OVA and investigate its tumor metastatic inhibition effect in B16 OVA melanoma challenged mice. Methods:Recombinant E.coli LLO/OVA was constructed and the expression of listeriolysin O(LLO) and ovalbumin(OVA) of the vaccine was determined by coomassie brilliant blue staining and western blotting. After 3 subcutaneous injections of E.coli LLO/OVA,the percentages of CD3+CD4+T,CD4+CD25+T,CD3+CD8+T and OVA257-264 SIINFEKL specific CD8+T cells were determined by flow cytomytry,and the tumor metastatic inhibition effect in B16 OVA melanoma challenged mice was observed. Results:Recombinant E.coli LLO/OVA was successfully constructed,and the expression of LLO and OVA of the vaccine was confirmed. After 3 subcutaneous injections of E.coli LLO/OVA and E.coli OVA in mice,the percentages of CD3+CD4+T,CD4+CD25+T and CD3+CD8+T cells were equivalent in the two groups of mice. However,there were significantly more OVA257-264 SIINFEKL specific CD8+T cells in E.coli LLO/OVA vaccinated mice than that in E.coli OVA vaccinated mice. The prophylactic E.coli LLO/OVA vaccination effectively prevented the tumor metastasis to lungs in B16 OVA melanoma challenged mice. Depletion of CD8+T cells significantly impaired the tumor inhibition effect of the vaccine in B16 OVA challenged mice. The therapeutic vaccination of E.coli LLO/OVA significantly prevented melanoma metastasis to lungs in B16 OVA challenged mice too. 16Formation of non-equilibrium phases and associated structural transition in the Pd-Ta system induced by ion beam mixing显示文摘For the Pd-Ta system characterized by a negative heat of formation of -78 kJ/mol, 200 keV xenon ion beam mixing with nano-sized Pd-Ta multilayered films was conducted to study the non-equilibrium phase formation. The results showed that uniform amorphous alloys can be formed within a composition range of 25 at%-78 at% Ta, which falls in the maximum possible amorphization range of 22 at%-80 at% Ta predicted by the empirical model. Moreover, two metastable crystalline phases both of FCC structure, yet with different lattice constants were obtained. Interestingly, a self-assembled fractal pattern was observed in the Pd52Ta48 multilayered films after irradiation to a dose of 1×1015 Xe+/cm2 and its dimension was determined to be 1.75±0.05.
