3Mechanical properties of rock under coupled static-dynamic loads显示文摘Rock drilling machine,INSTRON testing system,and SHPB device are updated to investigate the characteristics of rocks at great depth,with high loads from overburden,tectonic stresses and dynamic impacts due to blasting and boring.It is verified that these testing systems can be used to study the mechanical properties of rock material under coupled static and dynamic loading condition and give useful guidance for the deep mining and underground cavern excavation.Various tests to determine the rock strength,fragmentation behavior,and energy absorption were conducted using the updated testing systems.It is shown that under coupled static-dynamic loads,if the axial prestress is lower than its elastic limit,the rock strength is higher than the individual static or dynamic strength.At the same axial prestress,rock strength under coupled loads rises with the increasing strain rates.Under coupled static and dynamic loads,rock is observed to fail with tensile mode.While shear failure may exist if axial prestress is high enough.In addition,it is shown that the percentage of small particles increases with the increasing axial prestress and impact load based on the analysis of the particle-size distribution of fragments.It is also suggested that the energy absorption ratio of a specimen varies with coupled loads,and the maximum energy absorption ratio for a rock can be obtained with an appropriate combination of static and dynamic loads.Xibing Li Zilong Zhou Fujun Zhao Yujun Zuo Chunde Ma Zhouyuan Ye Liang Hong 2009Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2009,1,1:8
4Water-conserving mining influencing factors identification and weight determination in northwest China显示文摘Water-conserving mining is an effective way to alleviate the contradiction between fragile ecological environment and high-intensity coal mining in the arid and semi-arid region of northwest China. It needs to consider the engineering and geological conditions, hydrogeological conditions and mining methods of coal seams. From the three aspects, this paper systematically analyzes the influencing factors and establishes an identification model with multi-level structures. The model includes three primary factors (including the engineering and geological conditions, hydrogeological conditions and mining methods), nine secondary factors (including overlying strata thickness, aquiclude, mining parameters and etc.), sixteen third-tier factors (including the faults, aquiclude thickness and effective mining height and etc.) and twelve fourth-tier factors (including the fault throw exp on ent, aquiclude permeability and coal pillar sizes and etc.). On the basis, the analytic hierarchy process is used to build the judgment matrix and obtain the weight of each influencing factor. The results indicate that the overlying strata thickness, aquiclude and effective mining height are the most import a nt factors among the primary factors of engineering and geological conditions, hydrogeological conditions and mining methods, respectively. 5Characteristics of volatile compounds removal in biogas slurry of pig manure by ozone oxidation and organic solvents extraction显示文摘Biogas slurry is not suitable for liquid fertilizer due to its high amounts of volatile materials being of complicated composition and peculiar smell. In order to remove volatiles from biogas slurry efficiently, the dynamic headspace and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry were used to clear the composition of volatiles. Nitrogen stripping and superfluous ozone were also used to remove volatiles from biogas slurry. The results showed that there were 21 kinds of volatile compounds in the biogas slurry, including sulfur compounds, organic amines, benzene, halogen generation of hydrocarbons and alkanes, some of which had strong peculiar smell. The volatile compounds in biogas slurry can be removed with the rate of 53.0% by nitrogen stripping and with rate of 81.7% by the oxidization and stripping of the superfluous ozone. On this basis, the removal rate of the volatile compounds reached 99.2% by chloroform and n-hexane extraction, and almost all of odor was eliminated. 6RuCl_3 anchored onto post-synthetic modification MIL-101(Cr)-NH_2 as heterogeneous catalyst for hydrogenation of CO_2 to formic acid显示文摘A series of efficient ruthenium chloride (RuCl_3)-anchored MOF catalysts,such as RuCl_3@MIL-101 (Cr)-Sal,and RuCl_3@MIL-101 (Cr)-DPPB, have been successfully synthesized by post-synthetic modification (PSM)of the terminal amino of MIL-101(Cr)-NH_2 with salicylaldehyde, 2-diphenylphosphinobenzaldehyde (DPPBde) and anchoring of Ru (Ⅲ) ions. The stronger coordination electron donor interaction between Ru (Ⅲ) ions and chelating groups in the RuCl_3@MIL-101 (Cr)-DPPB enhances its catalytic performance for CO_2 hydrogenation to formic acid. 7Enhanced Fracture Toughness of Pressureless-sintered SiC Ceramics by Addition of Graphene显示文摘To enhance the fracture toughness of pressureless-sintered Si C ceramic, graphene was introduced as an additive. The effects of graphene contents on the fracture toughness, bending strength, micro-hardness,phase compositions, and microstructure evolutions of the Si C ceramics were investigated in detail by scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and metallographic microscopy. The fracture toughness, bending strength and micro-hardness increased initially, and then decreased with the graphene content increasing from 0 to 5.0 wt%. The highest fracture toughness of 5.65 MPa m1/2was obtained for sample with 1.0 wt% graphene sintered at 2130 °C for 1 h in Ar, which was about 22.6% higher than that of Si C sample without graphene. 8Interface tuning of Cu+/CuO by zirconia for dimethyl oxalate hydrogenation to ethylene glycol over Cu/SiO2 catalyst显示文摘An efficient ZrO2-doped Cu/SiO2 catalyst was fabricated through hydrolysis precipitation method(HP)and used to produce ethylene glycol(EG)through dimethyl oxalate(DMO)hydrogenation.The states for zirconia on copper catalyst and roles in DMO hydrogenation were investigated through various characterization tools,including N2 physical adsorption,XRD,H2-TPR,Methyl glycolate-TPD-MS,XPS,XAES as well.Compared with common ammonia evaporation and co-precipitation methods used in catalyst preparation,this HP method is found to effectively suppress the agglomeration and further size growth of copper nanoparticles by enhancing the interactions between copper and zirconia species.More importantly,uniform distribution of ZrO2 dopant is achieved due to the pseudo-homogeneous reactions in the mixing step of catalyst preparation.A proper amount of zirconium dopant helps achieve the desirable proportion of Cu+/(Cu++CuO)for surface copper species,especially promotes the production of Cu+species originated from Cu-ZrO2 species at the interface of copper and zirconia particles.In comparison with Cu+species formed from copper phyllosilicates reduction,the Cu+sites derived from Cu-ZrO2 species show higher adsorption ability of MG,an important intermediate species in ethylene glycol production.These adsorbed MG molecules further react with atomic hydrogen shifted from adjacent metallic copper surface,leading to a higher catalytic behavior.For the EG production via DMO hydrogenation,the turnover frequency(TOF)normalized by CuO species on CuZr/SiO2 catalyst is 1.8 times than that of traditional Cu/SiO2 counterpart.Due to the enhanced synergy effect between Cu+and Cuo active sites,a lower activation energy of ester hydrogenation on this ZrO2-doped Cu/SiO2 catalyst is believed to be responsible for the significant improvement.Yujun Zhao Huanhuan Zhang Yuxi Xu Shengnian Wang Yan Xu Shengping Wang Xinbin Ma 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,10:5
9Development and experimental study of a miniature vapor compression refrigeration equipment显示文摘A miniature vapor compression refrigeration equipment prototype was developed for a range of microclimate control applications, including man portable cooling and distributed space conditioning. The miniature refrigeration equipment has dimensions of 260 mm × 250 mm × 120 mm, and weighs approximately 2.85 kg. The optimal motor and its transmission ratio, the optimal dimension of capillary tube and the optimal quantity of refrigerant charge were obtained by matching and operating performance experimental study. 10Forest succession in post-agricultural Larix olgensis plantations in northeast China显示文摘In order to understand the management of regional vegetation,numerical classification and ordination are widely used to investigate community distribution and vegetation features.In particular,two-way indicator-species analysis programs(TWINSPAN)classifies plots and species into different groups.De-trended correspondence analysis(DCA)and canonical correspondence analysis(CCA)reflects the relationship between community and site conditions.Afforestation with Larix olgensis Herry.Plantations is a suitable restoration strategy on post-agricultural fields in the Lesser Khingan Mountains.The results of this study show how these plantations develop over time to establish a reliable pathway model by measuring and clarifying the succession process.Twenty-eight L.olgensis plantations along a 48-year chronosequence of afforestation were investigated with a quadrat sampling method.Species composition,community structure attributes of diversity,and site conditions were analyzed.Communities were classified by TWINSPAN into five successional stages:immature,juvenile,mid-aged,nearmature and mature.Classifications were validated by DCA and CCA analysis.Site conditions such as soil and litter thickness,soil organic matter,soil density,and pH were measured.Successional stages varied in community composition and species population,accompanied by time from afforestation and a gradient of site conditions.This gradient showed changes in vegetation occurrence and diversity coinciding with changes in soil conditions.The study showed that L.olgensis plantations had marked predominance in growth and were associated with improved soil fertility and the formation of a stable plant community.Wei Ma Shen Lei Yujun Sun Jason Grabosky 2020Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,6:3
11New ZnCe catalyst encapsulated in SBA-15 in the production of 1,3-butadiene from ethanol显示文摘ZnO-CeO2/SBA-15 catalysts were prepared by two kinds of solid-state grinding method and used for the production of 1,3-butadiene(1,3-BD) from ethanol.A mixture of SBA-15(with or without organic template) and metal precursors were ground in solid-state.The obtained catalysts were characterized by TG,N2 adsorption-desorption,TEM,XRD,Py-FTIR and NH_3-TPD techniques.Superior dispersion of metal oxides and more exposed acid sites were achieved on the catalyst lOZn_1Ce_5-AS with the presence of organic template in SBA-15 during the solid-state grinding process.The catalytic performance was evaluated in a fixed-bed reactor and a 1,3-butadiene selectivity of as high as 45% is achieved.This is attributed to the coupling effect of Zn and Ce species in the mesopores of SBA-15,in which Zn promotes ethanol dehydrogenation and Ce enhances aldol-condensation,respectively.Additionally,solvent-free method inspires new catalyst synthesis strategy for the production of 1,3-butadiene from ethanol.Yujun Zhao Sijia Li Zheng Wang Shengnian Wang Shengping Wang Xinbin Ma 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,2:3

14Estimate of Hydrofluorocarbon Emissions for 2012–16 in the Yangtze River Delta, China显示文摘Hydrofluorocarbons(HFCs)have been widely used in China as substitutes for ozone-depleting substances,the production and use of which are being phased out under the Montreal Protocol.China is a major consumer of HFCs around the world,with its HFC emissions in CO2-equivalent contributing to about 18%of the global emissions for the period2012-16.Three methods are widely used to estimate the emissions of HFCs-namely,the bottom-up method,top-down method and tracer ratio method.In this study,the tracer ratio method was adopted to estimate HFC emissions in the Yangtze River Delta(YRD),using CO as a tracer.The YRD region might make a significant contribution to Chinese totals owing to its rapid economic growth.Weekly flask measurements for ten HFCs(HFC-23,HFC-32,HFC-125,HFC-134 a,HFC-143 a,HFC-152 a,HFC-227 ea,HFC-236 fa,HFC-245 fa and HFC-365 mfc)were conducted at Lin’an Regional Background Station in the YRD over the period 2012-16,and the HFC emissions were 2.4±1.4 Gg yr-1 for HFC-23,2.8±1.2 Gg yr-1 for HFC-32,2.2±1.2 Gg yr-1 for HFC-125,4.8±4.8 Gg yr-1 for HFC-134 a,0.9±0.6 Gg yr-1 for HFC-152 a,0.3±0.3 Gg yr-1 for HFC-227 ea and 0.3±0.2 Gg yr-1 for HFC-245 fa.The YRD total HFC emissions reached 53 Gg CO2-e yr-1,contributing 34%of the national total.The per capita HFC CO2-equivalent emissions rate was 240 kg yr-1,while the values of per unit area emissions and per million GDP emissions reached 150 Mg km-2yr-1 and 3500 kg yr-1(million CNY GDP)-1,which were much higher than national or global levels.Jingjiao PU Honghui XU Bo YAO Yan YU Yujun JIANG Qianli MA Liqu CHEN 2020Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2020,37,6:2
15Electrochemical analysis and convection-enhanced mass transfer synergistic effect of MnO_x/Ti membrane electrode for alcohol oxidation显示文摘The different electrocatalytic reactors could be constructed for the electrocatalytic oxidation of 2,2,3,3-tetrafluoro-1-propanol(TFP) with two typical MnO_x/Ti electrodes, i.e.the electrocatalytic membrane reactor(ECMR) with the Ti membrane electrode and the electrocatalytic reactor(ECR) with the traditional Ti plate electrode.For the electro-oxidation of TFP, the conversion with membrane electrode(70.1%) in the ECMR was 3.3 and 1.7 times higher than that of the membrane electrode without permeate flow(40.8%) in the ECMR and the plate electrode(21.5%) in the ECR, respectively.Obviously, the pore structure of membrane and convection-enhanced mass transfer in the ECMR dramatically improved the catalytic activity towards the electro-oxidation of TFP.The specific surface area of porous electrode was 2.22 m^2·g^(-1).The surface area of plate electrode was 2.26 cm^2(1.13 cm^2× 2).In addition, the electrochemical results showed that the mass diffusion coefficient of the MnO_x/Ti membrane electrode(1.80 × 10^(-6) cm^2·s^(-1)) could be increased to 6.87 × 10^(-6) cm^2·s^(-1) at the certain flow rate with pump, confirming the lower resistance of mass transfer due to the convection-enhanced mass transfer during the operation of the ECMR.Hence, the porous structure and convection-enhanced mass transfer would improve the electrochemical property of the membrane electrode and the catalytic performance of the ECMR,which could give guideline for the design and application of the porous electrode and electrochemical reactor.Hong Wang Xin Wei Yujun Zhang Ronghua Ma Zhen Yin Jianxin Li 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,1:2

18Impacts of the Rising Opportunity Cost of Farm Labor on Agricultural Land Use Structure: Theory and Empirical Evidences显示文摘Nowadays the rising of opportunity cost of farm labor comes to the forefront of attention in China. In order to understand its impact on agricultural land-use structure, a theoretical framework of household economics is formulated drawn on Low's model. Under the theoretical framework, the impact of the rising opportunity cost of on-farm on cropping structure is deduced in theory. And then, using statistic and survey data, taking mountain area of southern Ningxia as an example, the theoretical assumes are verified. 19Efficient MgO-doped CaO sorbent pellets for high temperature CO_(2) capture显示文摘Novel MgO-doped CaO sorbent pellets were prepared by gel-casting and wet impregnation.The effect of Na^(+) and MgO on the structure and CO_(2) adsorption performance of CaO sorbent pellets was elucidated.MgOdoped CaO sorbent pellets with the diameter range of 0.5-1.5 mm exhibited an excellent capacity for CO_(2) adsorption and adsorption rate due to the homogeneous dispersion of MgO in the sorbent pellets and its effects on the physical structure of sorbents.The results show that MgO can effectively inhibit the sintering of CaO and retain the adsorption capacity of sorbents during multiple adsorption-desorption cycles.The presence of mesopores and macropores resulted in appreciable change of volume from CaO(16.7 cm^(3)·mol^(-1))to CaCO3(36.9 cm^(3)·mol^(-1))over repeated operation cycles.Ca2Mg1 sorbent pellets exhibited favorable CO_(2) capture capacity(9.49 mmol·g^(-1)),average adsorption rate(0.32 mmol·g^(-1)·min^(-1)) and conversion rate of CaO(74.83%) after 30 cycles.Zhihong Xu Tao Jiang Hao Zhang Yujun Zhao Xinbin Ma Shengping Wang 2021Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2021,15,3:2
20Prevalence and correlates of meeting the muscle-strengthening exercise recommendations among Chinese children and adolescents:Results from 2019 Physical Activity and Fitness in China—The Youth Study显示文摘Purpose This study aimed to describe the national prevalence of Chinese children and adolescents who met the World Health Organization muscle-strengthening exercise(MSE)recommendations and identify correlates of meeting the MSE recommendations.Methods Cross-sectional data from the 2019 Physical Activity and Fitness in China—The Youth Study,a nationally representative sample of Chinese children and adolescents(n=80,413;mean age=13.7 years;53.9%girls)and their parents,were analyzed.Children and adolescents who reported engaging≥3 days(up to 7 days)of MSE per week were classified as meeting the MSE recommendations.MSE,demographics,lifestyle behaviors(sport participation,moderate-to-vigorous physical activity,screen time,and sleep duration),exercise intention,peer and parental support,and parental MSE participation were assessed through self-reports.Logistic regression models were used to determine the correlates of meeting the MSE recommendations.The analyses were completed in 2020.Results Overall,39.3%of children and adolescents met the MSE recommendations.Girls,10th-12th graders,minorities,those from lower income households and those from families with lower parental education were less likely to meet the MSE recommendations.Children and adolescents who were proficient in≥2 sports were more likely to meet the MSE recommendations(adjusted odds ratio(aOR)=1.44,95%confidence interval(95%CI):1.26-1.65),as were those with more moderate-to-vigorous physical activity(aOR=1.57,95%CI:1.53-1.61).Additionally,children and adolescents with high exercise intention(aOR=1.60,95%CI:1.51-1.69),those whose parents met the adult MSE recommendations(aOR=1.46,95%CI:1.40-1.52),and those who received high peer(aOR=1.27,95%CI:1.20-1.34)and parental support(aOR=1.07,95%CI:1.04-1.12)were more likely to meet the MSE recommendations.Conclusion Less than two-fifths of Chinese children and adolescents met the World Health Organization MSE recommendations.The correlates identified in our study can help inform the development of school and community based strategies and policies to enhance participation in MSE and improve muscular fitness of all Chinese children and adolescents.Fei Xin Zheng Zhu Sitong Chen Huan Chen Xiaoqing Hu Xiao Ma Kun Liang Yang Liu Lijuan Wang Yujun Cai Ang Chen Yan Tang 2022Journal of Sport and Health Science2022,11,3:2
