| 1 | Effect of subsoil tillage depth on nutrient accumulation, root distribution, and grain yield in spring maize显示文摘A four-year field experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of subsoiling depth on root morphology, nitrogen(N), phosphorus(P), and potassium(K) uptake, and grain yield of spring maize. The results indicated that subsoil tillage promoted root development,increased nutrient accumulation, and increased yield. Compared with conventional soil management(CK), root length, root surface area, and root dry weight at 0–80 cm soil depth under subsoil tillage to 30 cm(T1) and subsoil tillage to 50 cm(T2) were significantly increased, especially the proportions of roots in deeper soil. Root length, surface area, and dry weight differed significantly among three treatments in the order of T2 > T1 > CK at the12-leaf and early filling stages. The range of variation of root diameter in different soil layers in T2 treatment was the smallest, suggesting that roots were more likely to grow downwards with deeper subsoil tillage in soil. The accumulation of N, P, and K in subsoil tillage treatment was significantly increased, but the proportions of kernel and straw were different. In a comparison of T1 with T2, the grain accumulated more N and P, while K accumulation in kernel and straw varied in different years. Grain yield and biomass were increased by 12.8% and 14.6% on average in subsoil tillage treatments compared to conventional soil treatment. | 2 | The Lushan M_S7.0 earthquake and activity of the southern segment of the Longmenshan fault zone显示文摘Following the Lushan MS7.0 earthquake on 20 April 2013,a topic of much concern is whether events of MS7 or greater could occur again on the southern segment of the Longmenshan fault zone.In providing evidence to answer this question,this work analyzes the tectonic relationship between the Lushan event and the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake and the rupture history of the southern segment of the Longmenshan fault zone,through field investigations of active tectonics and paleoearthquake research,and our preliminary conclusions are as follows.The activity of the southern segment of the Longmenshan fault zone is much different to that of its central section,and the late Quaternary activity has propagated forward to the basin in the east.The seismogenic structure of the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake is the central-fore-range fault system,whereas that of the 2013 Lushan event is attributed to the fore-range-range-front fault system,rather than the central fault.The southern segment of the Longmenshan fault zone becomes wider towards the south with an increasing number of secondary faults,of which the individual faults exhibit much weaker surface activity.Therefore,this section is not as capable of generating a major earthquake as is the central segment.It is most likely that the 2013 earthquake fills the seismic gap around Lushan on the southern segment of the Longmenshan fault zone. | CHEN LiChun RAN YongKang WANG Hu LI YanBao MA XinQuan | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,28: | 24 |
| 3 | High precision topographic data on Lop Nor basin's Lake 'Great Ear' ? and the timing of its becoming a dry salt lake显示文摘High precision elevation measurements using DGPS were carried out along three representative tran- sects for the 'Great Ear' area, a dry salt lake within the Lop Nor basin. Results indicate that the Lop Nor basin is only 5.2 m deep and its lowest point occurs at the center of the 'Great Ear'. In addition, the basin is asymmetric - steeper in the southwest (0.19‰) and gentler in the northeast (0.09‰). Points along the same 'Great Ear' ring were found to have an identical elevation value, but different when from different ones (lower towards the center). The spacing of the 'Great Ear' rings was found to be closely related with the surface steepness. The closer the 'Great Ear' rings are spaced, the steeper the ground surface, and vice versa. These findings support the argument that the 'Great Ear' rings are the former shoreline trails left behind by Lop Nor water during the last few episodes of recession towards its total dry up. A comprehensive analysis of the high precision elevation data, historical accounts, aerial and satellite photographs and imagery, and official topographic maps of the study area suggests that the 'Great Ear' area in the Lop Nor basin was incorrectly mapped as being covered by a great body of water on the 1963 topographic maps. A re-interpretation of the 1958 aerial photographs and newer remote sensing imagery indicated that the 'Great Ear' ring structure was already in place in 1958 and it continued to appear on the subsequent remote sensing data without any major changes. | 5 | Stability Investigation on the Thin Films in Capillary显示文摘The stability of the thin liquid film in a capillary is important to the phase-change heat transfer process in miniature or micro structures. From the basic equations for motion and heat transfer at the interface of the film, its stability is theoretically studied. With evaluation of the effects and relative magnitudes of various driving forces and with the use of long-wave theory in addition to linear stability analysis, the controlling equations are simplified and an evolution equation for the film’s thickness is obtained. Detailed analysis on the evolution equation shows that instability occurs first in the meniscus region and the instability condition varies with boundary conditions, geometrical scales and thermal properties. | 11 | 传统止血和凝血试验与肝硬化急性上消化道出血的关系:一项回顾性研究显示文摘目的:回顾性比较伴与不伴急性上消化道出血(AUGIB)或急性食管静脉曲张出血(AEVB)的肝硬化患者止血/凝血指标的差异,包括血小板计数(PLT)、凝血酶原时间(PT)、国际标准化比率(INR)和活化部分凝血活酶时间(APTT)。方法:2012年1月至2014年6月间,共计1734例肝硬化患者纳入研究。根据其病史分为AUGIB组(497例)和无AUGIB组(1237例);同时根据内镜检查结果分为AEVB组(297例)和无AEVB组(1259例),另178例AUGIB患者由于缺乏内镜资料,既未入AEVB组,也未归入无AEVB组。结果:AUGIB组与无AUGIB组患者相比,PLT(99.99±89.90 vs 101.47±83.03,P=0.734)和APTT(42.96±15.20 vs 43.77±11.01,P=0.219)的差异无统计学意义,但PT显著延长(17.30±5.62 vs 16.03±4.68,P<0.001),INR显著增高(1.45±0.69 vs 1.31±0.59,P<0.001)。PT可以独立预测AUGIB的发生,PT越低,AUGIB出现的可能性越小(OR=0.968,95%CI:0.942-0.994)。AEVB组与无AEVB组患者相比,PLT显著减少(86.87±62.14 vs 101.74±83.62,P=0.004),APTT显著缩短(40.98±7.98 vs 43.72±10.97,P<0.001),但PT(16.53±3.71 vs 16.0464.68,P=0.088)和INR(1.35±0.41 vs 1.3160.59,P=0.225)的差异则无统计学意义。PLT可独立预测AEVB的发生,PLT越高,AEVB出现的可能性越大(OR=1.004,95%CI:1.002-1.006)。结论:PLT与肝硬化患者门脉高压出血密切相关。 | Jing Li Xingshun Qi Han Deng Ying Peng Lichun Shao Jiaxin Ma Xiaolin Sun Hongyu Li Xiaozhong Guo | 2016 | Gastroenterology Report2016,4,4: | 1 |

| 14 | Effect of Yishen Qiqiao Fang on dopamine content in serum and cerebrospinal fluid of patients in persistent vegetative statec显示文摘BACKGROUND: It has been demonstrated that the attack of persistent vegetative state is associated with the damaged neuron, which produces dopamine, and nervous pathway, the reduce of dopamine or malfunction of dopamine. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of self-made traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Yishen Qiqiao Fang, which has the functions of supplementing qi and nourishing blood, resolving phlegm by promoting blood circulation, restoring consciousness and inducing resuscitation, on the contents of dopamine in serum and cerebrospinal fluid of patients in persistent vegetative state. DESIGN: An open randomized controlled clinical trial. SETTINGS: Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nanjing Zijin Hospital. PARTICIPANTS: Thirty-eight inpatients of persistent vegetative state were selected from the Department of Neurology, Nanjing Zijin Hospital from August 2005 to November 2006. The patients were diagnosed according to the diagnostic standards set by the summary of a meeting for specialists in Nanjing. Informed contents were obtained from their relatives. According to the order of admission, the enrolled patients were divided into control group (n =20) and TCM treated group (n =20). METHODS: In the control group, the patients were treated with routine treatments for the symptoms. In the TCM treated group, the patients were treated with Yishen Qiqiao Fang besides the same treatments in the control group. TCM dispensing granules: each bag of mongolian milkvetch root, Chinese angelica and peach seed equaled to 10 g crude drug respectively; each bag of grassleaf sweetflag rhizome and dahurian angelica root equaled to 6 g crude drug respectively; Musk 0.05 g. The daily dosage for adults: 4 bags of mongolian milkvetch root, 2 bags of Chinese angelica, 0.05 g musk, 1 bag of peach seed, 2 bags of grassleaf sweetflag rhizome and 2 bags of dahurian angelica root, which should be given though nasal feeding or gastrostogavage before breakfast and supper every day, the course lasted for 2 months. The contents of dopamine in serum and cerebrospinal fluid were determined with enzyme immunoassay analyzer before and after treatment in both groups. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Contents of dopamine in serum and cerebrospinal fluid before and after treatment in both groups. RESULTS: Totally 38 patients of persistent vegetative state were enrolled, 33 of them were involved in the final analysis of results, and the other 5 missed. The contents of dopamine in serum and cerebrospinal fluid had no obvious differences between the two groups both before and after treatment (P > 0.05). In the control group, the contents of dopamine in serum and cerebrospinal fluid had no obvious differences before and after treatment (P > 0.05). In the TCM treated group, the contents of dopamine in serum and cerebrospinal fluid after treatment were obviously higher than those before treatment (t =2.174, 2.485, P < 0.05). | 17 | Physical Activity and Vascular Dilation Function in Healthy Middle-aged Individuals显示文摘Objective:Vascular dilation dysfunction has been linked with risk of cardiovascular disease.This study was undertaken to investigate the relationship between physical activity and vascular dilation function in healthy middle-aged adults to help explaining the effect of physical activity on preventing cardiovascular disease.Method:We recruited 91 healthy middle-aged adults to complete a self-report 7-day physical activity recall questionnaire and an exam of brachial artery flow-mediated dilation(FMD) and Nitroglycerin-mediated dilation(NMD) detected by ultrasound.The relationship between physical activity level(PAL) and FMD and NMD were explored.Result:Physical activity showed a significant and positive relationship with the brachial artery FMD,even after adjustment for possible confounding factors(r=0.363,P<0.01).The group of high physical activity level had the highest FMD.The means of FMD(%) in low,moderate and high PAL groups were respectively 8.70%±3.93%,9.01%±3.22% and 12.38±5.67% with significant difference between individuals of low and high PAL and between moderate and high PAL group(P<0.01).The means of NMD(%) is 25.13%±6.52%,24.38%±5.44% and 29.50%±7.25% respectively(P> 0.05) and there was no significant difference among three groups.There was no positive relation between PAL and FMD in premenopausal females but in men and postmenopausal females.Although individuals of high PAL have the best FMD,the moderate PAL can also retard FMD decrease with ageing.Conclusion:Maintaining high physical activity level can enhance endothelial-dependent vascular dilation,and moderate or high physical activity level can prevent endothelial-dependent vascular dilation declining with aging,which may contribute to decrease risk of cardiovascular disease in healthy middle-aged adults. | LIANG Qi LIU Donghong WANG Yuling SUN Bing LIN Fengqiao GAN Hanjing WU Guifu WANG Lichun MA Hong | 2009 | 中国康复医学杂志2009,24,6: | 0 |
