1Spatiotemporal variations of PM_(2.5) and PM_(10) concentrations between31 Chinese cities and their relationships with SO_2,NO_2,CO and O_3显示文摘The variations of mass concentrations of PM_(2.5),PM_(10),SO_2,NO_2,CO,and O_3 in 31 Chinese provincial capital cities were analyzed based on data from 286 monitoring sites obtained between March 22,2013 and March 31,2014.By comparing the pollutant concentrations over this length of time,the characteristics of the monthly variations of mass concentrations of air pollutants were determined.We used the Pearson correlation coefficient to establish the relationship between PM_(2.5),PM_(10),and the gas pollutants.The results revealed significant differences in the concentration levels of air pollutants and in the variations between the different cities.The Pearson correlation coefficients between PMs and NO_2 and SO_2 were either high or moderate(PM_(2.5) with NO_2:r=0.256-0.688,mean r=0.498;PM_(10) with NO_2:r = 0.169-0.713,mean r = 0.493;PM2.5 with SO_2:r= 0.232-0.693,mean r=0.449;PM_(10) with SO_2:r = 0.131-0.669,mean r=0.403).The correlation between PMs and CO was diverse(PM_(2.5):r = 0.156-0.721,mean r=0.437;PM_(10):r=0.06-0.67,mean r= 0.380).The correlation between PMs and O_3 was either weak or uncorrelated(PM_(2.5):r--0.35 to 0.089,mean r=-0.164;PM_(10):r=-0.279 to 0.078,mean r=-0.127),except in Haikou(PM2.5:r=0.500;PM_(10):r-0.509).Yangyang Xie Bin Zhao Lin Zhang Rong Luo 2015Particuology2015,13,3:56

3Exosomal LINC00355 derived from cancer-associated fibroblasts promotes bladder cancer cell resistance to cisplatin by regulating miR-34b-5p/ABCB1 axis显示文摘Cisplatin resistance is a major challenge for bladder cancer(BC).Evidence indicates that exosome derived from cancer-associated fibroblasts(CAF-Exo)can promote chemotherapy resistance in various human tumors by delivering bioactive molecules.We have previously demonstrated that CAF-derived exosomal LINC00355 promotes BC cell proliferation and invasion.However,the underlying mechanisms are still unclear.In this study,we aimed to investigate the role and mechanisms of CAF-derived exosomal LINC00355 in BC cell resistance to cisplatin.Exosomes were isolated from normal fibroblasts(NFs)and BC tumor-derived CAFs,namely,NF-Exo and CAF-Exo.CAFs were transfected with si-Ctrl or si-LINC00355 and then different exosomes were isolated,namely,CAF^(si-Ctrl)-Exo and CAF^(si-LINC00355)-Exo.The human BC cell lines(T24 and 5367)were incubated with NF-Exo,CAF-Exo,CAF^(si-Ctrl)-Exo,and CAF^(si-LINC00355)-Exo in the presence of cisplatin.MTT proliferation assay and flow cytometric analysis showed that CAF-Exo promoted BC cell resistance to cisplatin and upregulated ABCB1 expression in BC cells by transferring LINC00355 to BC cells.Luciferase activity assay confirmed the interaction between miR-34b-5p and LINC00355 or ABCB1.qRT-PCR and western blot analysis further showed that LINC00355 sponged miR-34b-5p to upregulate ABCB1 expression.However,the promoting effects of CAF-Exo on BC cell resistance to cisplatin were abolished by miR-34b-5p overexpression and ABCB1 silencing.In conclusion,exosomal LINC00355 derived from CAFs promotes BC cell resistance to cisplatin by regulating the miR-34b-5p/ABCB1 axis.Guangyue Luo Yangyang Zhang Zhonghui Wu Ligang Zhang Chaozhao Liang Xianguo Chen 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,5:6

5Trade-offs and Synergies of Ecosystem Services in the Taihu Lake Ba- sin of China显示文摘Understanding the spatial interactions among multiple ecosystem services is crucial for ecosystem services management. Ecosystem services, including crop production, freshwater supply, aquatic production, net primary production, soil conservation, water conservation, flood regulation, forest recreation, were measured at 1-km grid scale covering the Taihu Lake Basin(TLB) of China. Our objective is to get a comprehensive understanding of the spatial distributions, trade-offs, synergies of multiple ecosystem services across the TLB. Our results found that: 1) majority of ecosystem services were clustered in space and had a similar spatial distribution pattern with the geographical resource endowment. Most of the landscape contributed a high supply of no services, one or two, and a low supply of three to seven services. 2) There were high correlation between forest recreation and freshwater supply and regulating services. Aquatic production had low correlation with other services. 3) The changes of provisioning services led to trade-offs between regulating services and cultural services in the TLB, while synergies mainly occurred among the provisioning service. 4) The spatial relationships of multiple services are consistent at 1-km spatial scale, counties and provinces. 7Exosomal LINC00355 derived from cancer-associated fibroblasts promotes bladder cancer cell proliferation and invasion by regulating miR-15a-5p/HMGA2 axis显示文摘We have previously demonstrated that exosomes derived from cancer-associated fibroblasts(CAFs)promote bladder cancer(BC)cell proliferation and invasion by transferring LINC00355.In this study,the molecular mechanisms underlying the pro-bladder cancer action of exosomal LINC00355 were explored.CAFs were obtained from BC tumor tissues,and normal fibroblasts(NFs)were obtained from adjacent normal tissues.Human BC cell lines(T24 and 5367)were incubated with NF-Exo(exosomes from NFs),CAF-Exo(exosomes from CAFs),CAFsi-Ctrl-Exo(exosomes from si-Ctrl-transfected CAFs),and CAFsi-LINC00355-Exo(exosomes from si-LINC00355-transfected CAFs).BC cell proliferation and invasion were evaluated by MTT and Transwell assays,respectively.The interaction between miR-15a-5p and LINC00355 or HMGA2 was examined by online bioinformatics analysis and luciferase activity assay.Results showed that HMGA2 is a direct target of miR-15a-5p,and LINC00355 functions as a sponge of miR-15a-5p to upregulate HMGA2 expression.The promoting effects of CAF-Exo on HMGA2 expression,cell proliferation,and cell invasion were hindered when LINC00355 expression was inhibited in BC cells.These promoting effects were also hindered when miR-15a-5p was overexpressed or HMGA2 was silenced in BC cells.In conclusion,exosomal LINC00355 derived from CAFs promotes BC cell proliferation and invasion by regulating miR-15a-5p/HMGA2 axis.Yangyang Zhang Guangyue Luo Shinian You Ligang Zhang Chaozhao Liang Xianguo Chen 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,6:4
8Clinical practice guidelines for treating headache with Traditional Chinese Medicine: quality assessment with the appraisal of guidelines for research and evaluation Ⅱ instrument显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To critically appraise the methodological quality of clinical practice guidelines for headache produced over the last two decades, including those covering specific interventions using Traditional Chinese Medicine.METHODS: The guidelines on headache disorders were obtained by searching a number of databases, including Pub Med, EMBASE, Web of Science,Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, China Science and Technology Journal Database, and Wanfang database, three guideline-related databases [Guideline-International Network, National Guideline Clearinghouse, and Medlive], and the records of organizations that develop guidelines. The publication date was limited to the period from January 1996 to June 2015. The search terms 'headache', 'headache disorders', 'cephalalgia', 'migraine', 'tension-type headache', 'practice guideline', 'consensus ', 'statement', 'regulation', and 'recommendation' were used in the 'Me SH' and 'Free-text' fields. The guidelines were independently appraised by four researchers using the Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation Ⅱ instrument.RESULTS: A total of 23 guidelines published between 1998 and 2014 were reviewed. The overall consistency of the four appraisers was good [interclass correlation coefficient 0.84; 95% confidence interval(CI) 0.82-0.86]. The mean(standard deviation) scores for scope and purpose, stakeholder involvement, rigor of development, clarity of presentation, applicability, and editorial independence were 52.1(18.0), 39.5(17.1), 33.4(21.0), 49.8(21.9),23.8(19.3), and 24.2(23.7). Only two guidelines were recommended, 12 were recommended with modification, and nine were not recommended.CONCLUSION: Physical Traditional Chinese Medicine therapies were recommended to treat headache. The overall quality of headache guidelines was low in China, but evidence-based guidelines are gradually becoming mainstream. 10Effect of photoionisation on initial discharge in air under nanosecond pulse voltage显示文摘Effects of photoionisation on the development and electron runaway of the initial discharge in atmospheric air under nanosecond pulse voltage were studied via twodimensional particle-in-cell/Monte Carlo collision simulations.It was found that photoionisation has little effect at the beginning of the initial discharge.However,as the discharge channel gradually develops towards the anode,photoionisation shows greater impacts on the morphology of discharge but has little influence on the velocity of discharge development.Photoionisation does not appear to have a decisive effect on the growth trend of the highest energy of runaway electrons,but it does affect the change rate of the highest energy and overall distribution of electron energy,resulting in a higher proportion of energetic electrons.The difference in the distributions of the electron energy between the two cases,with and without considering photoionisation,can be attributed to the impact of photoionisation on the discharge morphology,which in turn distorted the electric field.The spatial density distributions of the electrons produced by photoionisation further explained the differences.The authors’results explicitly demonstrate the influence of photoionisation on the development and the electron runaway of the initial discharge under nanosecond pulse voltage,which provides more comprehensive knowledge for the atmospheric air gap nanosecond pulse discharge physics.Yutai Li Yangyang Fu Zhigang Liu Handong Li Peng Wang Haiyun Luo Xiaobing Zou Xinxin Wang 2023High Voltage2023,8,2:2
11Identification of sources,characteristics and photochemical transformations of dissolved organic matter with EEM-PARAFAC in the Wei River of China显示文摘Dissolved organic matter(DOM)in rivers is a critical regulator of the cycling and toxicity of pollutants and the behavior of DOM is a key indicator for the health of the environment.We investigated the sources and characteristics of DOM in surface water and sediment samples of the Wei River,China.Dissolved organic carbon(DOC)concentration and ultraviolet absorbance at 254 nm(UV254)increased in the surface water and were decreased in the sediment downstream,indicating that the source of DOM in the water differed from the sediment.Parallel factor(PARAFAC)analysis of the excitation-emission matrices(EEM)revealed the presence of terrestrial humus-like,microbial humus-like and tryptophan-like proteins in the surface water,whereas the sediment contained UVA humic-like,UVC humic-like and fulvic-like in the sediment.The DOM in the surface water and sediment were mainly derived from microbial metabolic activity and the surrounding soil.Surface water DOM displayed greater photodegradation potential than sediment DOM.PARAFAC analysis indicated that the terrestrial humic-like substance in the water and the fulvic-like component in the sediment decomposed more rapidly.These data describe the characteristics of DOM in the Wei River and are crucial to understanding the fluctuations in environmental patterns.Yuanyuan Luo Yangyang Zhang Mengfan Lang Xuetao Guo Tianjiao Xia Tiecheng Wang Hanzhong Jia Lingyan Zhu 2021Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,5:2

13Spatial transcriptome analysis of long non-coding RNAs reveals tissue specificity and functional roles in cancer显示文摘Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)play a significant role in maintaining tissue morphology and functions,and their precise regulatory effectiveness is closely related to expression patterns.However,the spatial expression patterns of lncRNAs in humans are poorly characterized.Here,we constructed five comprehensive transcriptomic atlases of human lncRNAs covering thousands of major tissue samples in normal and disease states.The lncRNA transcriptomes exhibited high consistency within the same tissues across resources,and even higher complexity in specialized tissues.Tissue-elevated(TE)lncRNAs were identified in each resource and robust TE lncRNAs were refined by integrative analysis.We detected 1 to 4684 robust TE lncRNAs across tissues;the highest number was in testis tissue,followed by brain tissue.Functional analyses of TE lncRNAs indicated important roles in corresponding tissue-related pathways.Moreover,we found that the expression features of robust TE lncRNAs made them be effective biomarkers to distinguish tissues;TE lncRNAs also tended to be associated with cancer,and exhibited differential expression or were correlated with patient survival.In summary,spatial classification of lncRNAs is the starting point for elucidating the function of lncRNAs in both maintenance of tissue morphology and progress of tissue-constricted diseases.Kang XU Xiyun JIN Ya LUO Haozhe ZOU Dezhong LV Liping WANG Limei FU Yangyang CAI Tingting SHAO Yongsheng LI Juan XU 2023Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2023,24,1:1

15Population transcriptomics reveals a potentially positive role of expression diversity in adaptation显示文摘While it is widely accepted that genetic diversity determines the potential of adaptation,the role that gene expression variation plays in adaptation remains poorly known.Here we show that gene expression diversity could have played a positive role in the adaptation of Miscanthus lutarioriparius.RNA-seq was conducted for 80 individuals of the species,with half planted in the energy crop domestication site and the other half planted in the control site near native habitats.A leaf reference transcriptome consisting of 18,503 high-quality transcripts was obtained using a pipeline developed for de novo assembling with population RNA-seq data.The population structure and genetic diversity of M.lutarioriparius were estimated based on 30,609 genic single nucleotide polymorphisms.Population expression(Ep) and expression diversity(Ed)were defined to measure the average level and the magnitude of variation of a gene expression in the population,respectively.It was found that expression diversity increased while genetic Resediversity decreased after the species was transplanted from the native habitats to the harsh domestication site,especially for genes involved in abiotic stress resistance,histone methylation,and biomass synthesis under water limitation.The increased expression diversity could have enriched phenotypic variation directly subject to selections in the new environment.Qin Xu Shilai Xing Caiyun Zhu Wei Liu Yangyang Fan Qian Wang Zhihong Song Wenhui Yang Fan Luo Fei Shang Lifang Kang Wenli Chen Juan Yan Jianqiang Li Tao Sang 2015Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2015,57,3:1
16Formation of the Huajiang Grand Canyon (southwestern China) driven by the evolution of a Late Pleistocene tiankeng显示文摘Collapse is a common geomorphic process in karst areas,especially on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau,which has a tectonic background of integral uplift.The frequent occurrence of collapse processes in karst underground caves and canyons indicates that collapses play an important role in the formation of canyons.Through an analysis of the morphology of a semicircular cliff in the Huajiang Grand Canyon and an investigation of sediments at the bottom of the cliff,a large-scale collapse event was found to have occurred.U-series dating of secondary calcium carbonate cement in the collapse breccias indicates that collapse processes occurred approximately 200 ka.According to the geomorphological evolution of the Huajiang Grand Canyon,the following geomorphic evolutionary process is proposed:underground river-cave hall-collapse of a tiankeng-tiankeng degradation-canyon formation.These findings also show that the dating of collapsed breccia cement can be effectively used to determine the development times of karst canyons and the formation ages of tiankengs.Yunlong Fan Andrea Columbu Kangning Xiong Guangjie Luo Song Li Xuefeng Wang Yangyang Wu 2022Acta Geochimica2022,41,1:1
17Similarity of gas discharge in low-pressure argon gaps between two plane-parallel electrodes显示文摘The similarity of gas discharge in low-pressure argon gaps between two plane-parallel electrodes was investigated by experiments,numerical simulations and theoretical analysis.It was found by the experiments that the breakdown voltages depend not only on the product of gas pressure and gap length,but also on the aspect ratio of the gap,i.e.U_(b)=f(pd,d/r).It was theoretically proved that U_(b)=f(pd,d/r)is also a special case,the non-uniform electric field between plane-parallel electrodes,of similarity theorem of gas discharge.It was found by the experiments that there exist similar glow discharges only in two gaps with a limited scaled-down factor k.By theoretical analysis,it was explained that the forbidden processes such as the stepwise ionisation and the inelastic collision of the second kind violate the similarity of discharge as k increases,which was verified by the numerical simulations of the discharges with or without these two forbidden processes taken into account.Yangyang Fu Shuo Yang Xiaobing Zou Haiyun Luo Xinxin Wang 2016High Voltage2016,1,2:1

19ASER:Animal Sex Reversal Database显示文摘Sex reversal,representing extraordinary sexual plasticity during the life cycle,not only triggers reproduction in animals but also affects reproductive and endocrine system-related diseases and cancers in humans.Sex reversal has been broadly reported in animals;however,an integrated resource hub of sex reversal information is still lacking.Here,we constructed a comprehensive database named ASER(Animal Sex Reversal)by integrating sex reversal-related data of 18 species from teleostei to mammalia.We systematically collected 40,018 published papers and mined the sex reversal-associated genes(SRGs),including their regulatory networks,from 1611 core papers.We annotated homologous genes and computed conservation scores for whole genomes across the 18 species.Furthermore,we collected available RNA-seq datasets and investigated the expression dynamics of SRGs during sex reversal or sex determination processes.In addition,we manually annotated 550 in situ hybridization(ISH),fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH),and im-munohistochemistry(IHC)images of SRGs from the literature and described their spatial expression in the gonads.Collectively,ASER provides a unique and integrated resource for researchers to query and reuse organized data to explore the mechanisms and applications of SRGs in animal breeding and human health.The ASER database is publicly available at http://gffzz680c155e21ae46dbhcx6pcvvbbbcp6pxb.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/.Yangyang Li Zonggui Chen Hairong Liu Qiming Li Xing Lin Shuhui Ji Rui Li Shaopeng Li Weiliang Fan Haiping Zhao Zuoyan Zhu Wei Hu Yu Zhou Daji Luo 2021Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,6:0
20Stability of gene regulatory networks with Lvy noise显示文摘The stability of gene regulatory networks has attracted substantial research efforts in the field of systematic biology. Actual gene regulatory networks are always subject to noise interference and disruption to the organism either internally or externally. Specifically, the special case of instantaneous mutation may exist in gene regulatory networks at the m RNA or protein level. Compared with other existing models, a L′evy noisedriven gene regulatory network model has been proved to be more realistic, since it is a powerful tool to describe the above special case. On the basis of previous studies, we developed a theoretical proof of the L′evy noisedriven gene regulatory network, and carried out a large number of numerical simulations for validation.
