Comprehensive precursor anomaly research based on earthquake corresponding relevancy spectrum显示文摘With the aim to the quantification of anomaly identification and extraction for observed or analyzed records, we present two statistical methods of earthquake corresponding relevancy spectrum(ECRS)and sliding mean relevancy (SMR).With ECRS method,we can obtain the abnormal confidence attribute of data in different value ranges.Based on the relevancy spectrum in different studied time-intervals,we convert the original time sequence into relevancy time sequence, and can obtain the SMR time series by using the multi-point cumulative sliding mean method. Then we can identify the seismic precursor anomaly. We test this method by taking the time sequence ofη-value in the northern Tianshan region as original data. The result shows that when the studied time-interval is 18 months, the precursor anomaly can be identified better from sliding mean relevancy. The anomaly corresponding rate is 83 percent, the earthquake corresponding rate is 86 percent, and the anomaly is characteristic of the middle term.To try the research on multi-parameter comprehensive application, we take the Kalpin tectonic block in Xinjiang as our studied region, and analyze the spatial and temporal abnormal characters of multi-parameter sliding extreme-value relevancy(MSER)before mid-strong earthquakes in the Kalpin block. The result indicates that ECRS and SMR sequence in different time-intervals can not only be used to identify the precursor anomaly of single-item data, but also offer the data of quantitative single-item anomaly for comprehensive earthquake analysis and prediction. | Haitao Wang Qiong Wang Lanlan Tang | 2009 | Earthquake Science2009,22,6: | 5
Three-dimensional printing for heart diseases: clinical application review显示文摘Heart diseases remain the top threat to human health, and the treatment of heart diseases changes with each passing day.Convincing evidence shows that three-dimensional(3D)printing allows for a more precise understanding of the complex anatomy associated with various heart diseases. In addition,3D-printed models of cardiac diseases may serve as effective educational tools and for hands-on simulation of surgical interventions. We introduce examples of the clinical applications of different types of 3D printing based on specific cases and clinical application scenarios of 3D printing in treating heart diseases. We also discuss the limitations and clinically unmet needs of 3D printing in this context. | Yanyan Ma Peng Ding Lanlan Li Yang Liu Ping Jin Jiayou Tang Jian Yang | 2021 | Bio-Design and Manufacturing2021,4,3: | 3
Time serial transcriptome reveals Cyp2c29 as a key gene in hepatocellular carcinoma development显示文摘Objective:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a severely lethal cancer that usually originates from chronic liver injury and inflammation.Although progress on diagnosis and treatment is obvious, the cause of HCC remains unclear. In this study,we sought to determine key genes in HCC development. Methods:To identify key regulators during HCC progression,we performed transcriptome sequencing to obtain time series gene expression data from a mouse model with diethylnitrosamine-induced liver tumors and further verified gene expression and function in vitro and in vivo. Results:Among the differentially expressed genes,Cyp2c29 was continuously downregulated during HCC progression.Overexpression of Cyp2c29 suppressed N F-kB activation and proinflammatory cytokine production by increasing the production o f 14,15-epoxyeicosatrienoic acid in vitro.Furthermore, overexpression of Cyp2c29 in vivo protected against liver inflammation in mouse models of liver injury induced by both acetaminophen and CC14.Two human homologs of mouse Cyp2c29,CYP2C8 and CYP2C9,were found to be downregulated in human HCC progression, and their expression was positively correlated with overall survival in patients with HCC(significance:P=0.046 and 0.0097,respectively).Conclusions:Collectively,through systematic analysis and verification,we determined that C yp2c29 is a novel gene involved in liver injury and inflammation, which may be a potential biomarker for HCC prevention and prognosis determination. | Qi Wang Qin Tang Lijun Zhao Qiong Zhang Yuxin Wu Hui Hu Lanlan Liu Xiang Liu Yanhong Zhu Anyuan Guo Xiangliang Yang | 2020 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,2: | 2
1,5-Anhydroglucitol Predicts Mortality in Patients with HBV-Related Acute-on-chronic Liver Failure显示文摘Background and Aims:1,5-Anhydroglucitol(1,5AG)activ-ity has been reported in chronic liver disease.Hepatitis B vi-rus(HBV)-related acute-on-chronic liver failure(HBV-ACLF)patients have a high mortality. We aimed to discover the re-lationship between serum 1,5AG and the prognosis of HBV-ACLF.Methods:Serum 1,5AG levels were determined in 333 patients with HBV-ACLF,300 without diabetes were allo-cated to derivation(n=206)and validation cohorts(n=94),and 33 were recruited to evaluate 1,5AG in those with diabe-tes.Forty patients with chronic hepatitis B,40 with liver cir-rhosis,and 40 healthy people were controls in the validation cohort. Results:In the derivation and validation cohorts, serum 1,5AG levels were significantly lower in nonsurvivors than in survivors. The AUC of 1,5AG for 28-day mortality was 0.811.In patients with diabetes, serum 1,5AG levels were also significantly lower in nonsurvivors than in survi-vors.In multivariate Cox regression analysis, serum 1,5AG levels were independently associated with 28-day mortal-ity.A novel predictive model(ACTIG)based on 1,5AG,age,TB,cholesterol,and INR was derived to predict mortality. In ACTIG,the AUC for 28-day mortality was 0.914,which was superior to some prognostic score models.ACTIG was also comparable to those prognostic score models in pre-dicting 6-month mortality. In mice with D-galactosamine/lipopolysaccharide-induced liver failure,1,5AG levels were significantly reduced in serum and significantly increased in urine and liver tissue. Conclusions:Serum 1,5AG levels are a promising predictor of short-term mortality in HBV-ACLF patients. The 1,5AG distribution changed in mice with D-galactosamine/lipopolysaccharide-induced liver failure. | Lingjian Zhang Yalei Zhao Zhongyang Xie Lanlan Xiao Qingqing Hu Qian Li Shima Tang Jie Wang Lanjuan Li | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,4: | 1

Worldwide impacts of atmospheric vapor pressure deficit on the interannual variability of terrestrial carbon sinks显示文摘Interannual variability of the terrestrial ecosystem carbon sink is substantially regulated by various environmental variables and highly dominates the interannual variation of atmospheric carbon dioxide(CO_(2))concentrations.Thus,it is necessary to determine dominating factors affecting the interannual variability of the carbon sink to improve our capability of predicting future terrestrial carbon sinks.Using global datasets derived from machine-learning methods and process-based ecosystem models, this study reveals that the inter annual variability of the atmospheric vapor pressure deficit(VPD)was significantly negatively correlated with net ecosystem production(NEP)and substantially impacted the inter annual variability of the atmospheric CO_(2)growth rate(CGR).Further analyses found widespread constraints of VPD interannual variability on terrestrial gross primary production(GPP),causing VPD to impact NEP and CGR.Partial correlation analysis confirms the persistent and widespread impacts of VPD on terrestrial carbon sinks compared to other environmental variables.Current Earth system models underestimate the interannual variability in VPD and its impacts on GPP and NEP.Our results highlight the importance of VPD for terrestrial carbon sinks in assessing ecosystems'responses to future climate conditions. | Bin He Chen Chen Shangrong Lin Wenping Yuan Hans WChen Deliang Chen Yafeng Zhang Lanlan Guo Xiang Zhao Xuebang Liu Shilong Piao Ziqian Zhong Rui Wang Rui Tang | 2022 | National Science Review2022,9,4: | 1
Catalytic Arylalkylation of Alkenyl Amines at Remote Sites via Directed Nickel Catalysis显示文摘Directing group-assisted, transition metal-catalyzed three-component difunctionalization of alkenes has emerged as a powerful tool to drive molecular complexity. However, this strategy generally works with the substrates bearing directing groups in close proximity to the alkene moieties, due to the preference for formation of kinetically stable five-membered metallacycles. Herein, we have disclosed a complementary strategy to accomplish a nickel-catalyzed remote arylalkylation of alkenyl amines with excellent regioselectivity and diastereofidelity, involving rare six- or seven-membered metallacycles. This general protocol is compatible with a series of δ- and ε-alkenyl amines, providing corresponding valuable δ,ε- and ε,ζ-difunctionalized aliphatic amines that would be difficult to synthesize. The coordination of the bidentate picolinamide auxiliary and the facile oxidative addition of alkyl halides to Ni(I) species are the key to the success of the developed remote olefin dicarbofunctionalization. | Jian Han Yinheng Tang Jie Huang Chun Luo Lanlan Zhang Wenyi Li Chao Wang | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,6: | 1
Analysis of the clinical characteristics and neonatal outcomes of seven cases of pregnancy luteoma discovered incidentally at cesarean section显示文摘Objective:In this study,we summarize the clinical characteristics and neonatal outcomes of patients with pregnancy luteomas that were identified incidentally at cesarean section in our hospital. We also provide a review of the existing literature relating to this condition. Methods:A total of seven cases of pregnancy luteoma were enrolled from our hospital into this retrospective study between March 2013 and February 2018.We then evaluated the clinical characteristics and neonatal outcomes of these patients. Results:All seven patients with pregnancy luteomas found incidentally during Cesarean sections at term as a result of obstetric indications. These masses were unilateral and ranged from 2 to 10 cm in size. All patients underwent partial ovariectomies or oophorocystectomy due to presumptive benign ovarian tumors. Two patients had gestational diabetes and one patient had gestational hypertension. One patient developed hirsutism and a deepened voice.Of the seven newborns, three were girls and four were boys.Physical examinations of the newborns were normal and no virilization was detected among the infant girls. Conclusion:Pregnancy luteoma may be more common than expected.Better strategies are now needed to educate obstetricians about the clinical features of pregnancy luteoma so that they can avoid unnecessary surgery. | Junhua Shen Lanlan Tang Genping Huang Xiaoxia Bai Baohua Li Zhengping Wang | 2021 | Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinical Medicine2021,1,2: | 0
Human menstrual blood-derived stem cells alleviate autoimmune hepatitis via JNK/MAPK signaling pathway in vivo and in vitro显示文摘Autoimmune hepatitis(AIH)is a severe globally distributed liver disease that could occur at any age.Human menstrual blood-derived stem cells(MenSCs)have shown therapeutic effect in acute lung injury and liver failure. However, their role in the curative effect of AIH remains unclear. Here,a classic AIH mouse model was constructed through intravenous injection with concanavalin A(Con A).MenSCs were intravenously injected while Con A injection in the treatment groups. The results showed that the mortality by Con A injection was significantly decreased by MenSCs treatment and liver function tests and histological analysis were also ameliorated. The results of phosphoproteomic analysis and RNA-seq revealed that MenSCs improved AIH,mainly by apoptosis and c-Jun N-terminal kinase/mitogen-activated protein signaling pathways.Apoptosis analysis demonstrated that the protein expression of cleaved caspase 3 was increased by Con A injection and reduced by MenSCs transplantation, consistent with the TUNEL staining results. An AML12 co-culture system and JNK inhibitor(SP600125)were used to verify the JNK/MAPK and apoptosis signaling pathways. These findings suggested that MenSCs could be a promising strategy for AIH. | Fen Zhang Lanlan Xiao Ya Yang Menghao Zhou Yalei Zhao Zhongyang Xie Xiaoxi Ouyang Feiyang Ji Shima Tang Lanjuan Li | 2023 | Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,3: | 0
Quantitative Seismicity Analysis for the Risk of Historical Large Earthquake Rupture Zone:Application to the Mid-North Segment of the North-South Seismic Belt显示文摘Although seismic gap theory plays an important role in the med-and long-term earthquake prediction, the potential risk of the non-seismic gap in historical earthquake rupture areas will need to be simultaneously taken into account in the study of med-and long-term earthquake prediction, due to the temporally clustering or non-linear behavior of large earthquake recurrence. In order to explore technical methods which can be based on observational data, and identify historical earthquake rupture zones( including the seismic gap in historical and prehistoric earthquake rupture zones),we select eight historical large earthquake rupture zones with different elapsed times on the mid-north segment of the North-South Seismic Belt to make quantitative analysis on the characteristics of modern seismicity of these zones and preliminarily explore the seismicity method for determining the urgency degree of potential earthquake hazards. The results mainly show that the pvalue, which reflects the attenuation of earthquake sequence, and the a-value,which reflects the seismicity rate, are strongly related to the elapsed time of the latest earthquake in the rupture zone. However, the corresponding relationships in some rupture areas are not clear perhaps due to the complex fault structure and faulting behavior. The b-value,which represents the state of tectonic stress accumulation, does not easily reflect the elapsed time information of different evolution stages. The b-value temporal scanning shows a steady evolution over time in most of the rupture zones, but in the rupture zone of the Wudu M8.0 earthquake of 1879,the b-value shows significant fluctuations with a decreasing trend for 20 years.By comparative analysis,we conclude that the rupture zones of the 1933 M7.5 Maoxian earthquake and the 1976 M7.2 Songpan-Pingwu earthquake are still in the decaying period of earthquake sequences, and thus do not have the background for recurrence of M7.0 earthquakes. The low b-value Maqu segment, which is located at the north margin of the rupture zone of the 842A.D.M7.0 Diebu earthquake,is more dangerous than the Diebu segment. The continuous decline of the b-value in the 1879 M8.0 Wudu earthquake rupture zone may also indicate a new round of seismogenic process. | Long Feng Jiang Changsheng Feng Jiangang Tang Lanlan | 2013 | Earthquake Research in China2013,27,3: | 0
Reflection on Popular Concepts of Landscape Design显示文摘Guided by the values of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, methods and concepts such as“biodiversity”,“sponge cities”,and“urban agriculture”have become popular. These methods and concepts are indisputable as a value orientation. But if conditional truth is promoted nationwide as unconditional truth,it will inevitably move from one extreme to the other.Starting from specific issues and practical experience, combined with the regional differences in the natural conditions, social customs and climate environment, the four popular viewpoints of“urban agriculture”,“biodiversity”,“local characteristics”,and“sponge cities”are reflected, and their“exclusion”reactions in certain regions are revealed,in order to awaken people’s rational thinking about popular concepts. | TANG Shidong CUI Jinjing ZHOU Lanlan | 2023 | Journal of Landscape Research2023,15,5: | 0
Click CAR-T cell engineering for robustly boosting cell immunotherapy in blood and subcutaneous xenograft tumor显示文摘The adoptive transfer of chimeric antigen receptor-T(CAR-T)cells has shown remarkable clinical responses in hematologic malignancies. However, unsatisfactory curative results and side effects for tumor treatment are still unsolved problems.Herein we develop a click CAR-T cell engineering strategy via cell glycometabolic labeling for robustly boosting their antitumor effects and safety in vivo.Briefly, paired chemical groups(N3/BCN)are separately incorporated into CAR-T cell and tumor via nondestructive intrinsic glycometabolism of exogenous Ac4GalNAz and Ac4ManNBCN,serving as an artificial ligand-receptor.Functional groups anchored on cell surface strengthen the interaction of CAR-T cell and tumor via bioorthogonal click chemistry, further enhancing specific recognition, migration and selective antitumor effects of CAR-T cells. In vivo, click CAR-T cell completely removes lymphoma cells and minimizes off-target toxicity via selective and efficient bioorthogonal targeting in blood cancer.Surprisingly, compared to unlabeled cells, artificial bioorthogonal targeting significantly promotes the accumulation, deep penetration and homing of CAR-T cells into tumor tissues, ultimately improving its curative effect for solid tumor.Click CAR-T cell engineering robustly boosts selective recognition and antitumor capabilities of CAR T cells in vitro and in vivo, thereby holding a great potential for effective clinical cell immunotherapy with avoiding adverse events in patients. | Hong Pan Wenjun Li Ze Chen Yingmei Luo Wei He Mengmeng Wang Xiaofan Tang Huamei He Lanlan Liu Mingbin Zheng Xin Jiang Ting Yin Ruijing Liang Yifan Ma Lintao Cai | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,4: | 0
