3Effective femtosecond laser shock peening on a Mg-3Gd alloy at low pulse energy 430 μJ of 1 kHz显示文摘In this paper,microstructure evolution and hardness of Mg-3 Gd alloy treated by femtosecond(fs)laser shock peening(LSP)with direct and confined ablation m odes were investigated in detail.Under a relatively low pulse energy of 430μJ with a repetition of 1 kHz,the surface hardness of sample has been enhanced by 70%effectively.Comp a r e d with ns-LSP with pulse fluence of 71.7J/cm2,fs-LSP with pulse fluence of 34.2 J/cm2 is superior in the hardness increment,both of which are in the same order of magnitude.A distinct grain refinement of surface layer has been discovered and results in the increase of hardness.Nonuse of absorption and confining layers and the employment of the industry commercial fs laser with high repetition can inspire big potential L S P application in special metal material.©2019 Published by Elsevier B.V.on behalf of Chongqing University.Chenghao Lu Licheng Ge Bing Zhu Yangxin Li Xianfeng Chen Xiaoqin Zeng Yuping Chen 2019Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,3:2
4Fast valve power loss evaluation method for modular multi-level converter operating at high-frequency显示文摘There is no common accepted way for calculating the valve power loss of modular multilevel converter(MMC).Valve power loss estimation based on analytical calculation is inaccurate to address the switching power loss and valve power loss estimation based on detailed electro-magnetic simulation is of low speed.To solve this problem,a method of valve power loss estimation based on the detailed equivalent simulation model of MMC is proposed.Results of valve power loss analysis of 201-level 500MW MMC operating at 50Hz~1000Hz are presented.It is seen that the valve power loss of a MMC increased by 12,40 and 93%under 200Hz,500Hz and 1000Hz operating frequency.The article concludes that in a device with isolated inner AC system,MMC operating at higher frequency will be more competitive than typical 50Hz/60Hz MMC with moderate increase of operating power loss and significant reduction of the size of the AC components.Fen Tao Zhujun Xie Jie Cheng Chenghao Li Lu Zhao Jinyu Wen 2016Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2016,1,1:1
5Self‑Generated Buried Submicrocavities for High‑Performance Near‑Infrared Perovskite Light‑Emitting Diode显示文摘ABSTRACT Embedding submicrocavities is an effective approach to improve the light out-coupling efficiency(LOCE)for planar perovskite light-emitting diodes(PeLEDs).In this work,we employ phenethylammonium iodide(PEAI)to trigger the Ostwald ripening for the downward recrystallization of perovskite,resulting in spontaneous formation of buried submicrocavities as light output coupler.The simulation suggests the buried submicrocavities can improve the LOCE from 26.8 to 36.2%for near-infrared light.Therefore,PeLED yields peak external quantum efficiency(EQE)increasing from 17.3%at current density of 114 mA cm^(−2)to 25.5%at current density of 109 mA cm^(−2)and a radiance increasing from 109 to 487 W sr^(−1)m^(−2)with low rolling-off.The turn-on voltage decreased from 1.25 to 1.15 V at 0.1 W sr^(−1)m^(−2).Besides,downward recrystallization process slightly reduces the trap density from 8.90×10^(15)to 7.27×10^(15)cm^(−3).This work provides a self-assembly method to integrate buried output coupler for boosting the performance of PeLEDs.Jiong Li Chenghao Duan Qianpeng Zhang Chang Chen Qiaoyun Wen Minchao Qin Christopher C.S.Chan Shibing Zou Jianwu Wei Zuo Xiao Chuantian Zuo Xinhui Lu Kam Sing Wong Zhiyong Fan Keyou Yan 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,8:1

7Unevenly distributed LED light produces distinct behavioral preferences and production performance of broilers显示文摘LED has shown great advantages in poultry husbandry.This study focused on the behavioral preferences and production performance of chicken broilers reared under unevenly distributed yellow LED light.Four pens were divided into two groups adopting respective maximum light intensities(MLIs,60 lx and 30 lx).Because of different distances from the installation position of the LED pipe,each pen was distributed with unevenly distributed light.Each pen consisted of four subzones indicated by their light intensities-high intensity(HI),medium intensity(MI),low intensity(LI)and weak intensity(WI).Four subzones were the same size and provided with a feeder and a drinker,respectively.The broilers moved freely across the four subzones.No significant differences in body weight(BW),uniformity of final BW and feed conversion ratio(FCR)were observed between the two experimental groups.However,greater feed intake and water intake were found in HI than those in other subzones.The drinking preference changed with age for four subzones and was more likely to appear at the later stage,despite substantial fluctuations within the replicates.The feeding preference was more constant than the drinking preference and appeared mainly at the early and middle stages of this study.These findings could provide implications for broiler production reared under unevenly distributed LED light condition.Chenghao Pan Minsi Lu Yingping Zhang Yue Yu Qiuyan Lu Yefeng Yang Jinming Pan 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,2:0
8MYC-associated protein X binding with the variant rs72780850 in RNA helicase DEAD box 1 for susceptibility to neuroblastoma显示文摘Neuroblastoma(NB)is one of the most common malignant tumors in children,with variable clinical behaviors and a 15%death rate of all malignancies in childhood.However,genetic susceptibility to sporadic NB in Han Chinese patients is largely unknown.To identify genetic risk factors for NB,we performed an association study on 357 NB patients and 738 control subjects among Han Chinese children.We focused on DEAD box 1(DDX1),a putative RNA helicase,which is involved in NB carcinogenesis.The potential association of DDX1 polymorphisms with NB has not been discovered.Our results demonstrate that rs72780850(NM_004939.2:c.-1555 T>C)located in the DDX1 promoter region is significantly associated with higher expression of DDX1 transcript and increased NB risk(odds ratio=1.64,95%confidence interval=1.03%–2.60%,P=0.004),especially in aggressive NB compared with ganglioneuroma and ganglioneuroblastoma in a dominant model(TC+CC vs.TT).Furthermore,the MYC-associated protein X(MAX)transcription factor showed stronger binding affinity to the DDX1 rs72780850 CC allele compared with the TT allele,explaining the molecular mechanism of the increased NB risk caused by the rs72780850 polymorphism.Our results highlight the involvement of regulatory genetic variants of DDX1 in NB.Yaqiong Jin Jin Shi Huanmin Wang Jie Lu Chenghao Chen Yongbo Yu Yaru Wang Yeran Yang Dong Ren Qi Zeng Xin Ni Yongli Guo 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,6:0
9PuHox52 promotes coordinated uptake of nitrate,phosphate, and iron under nitrogen deficiency in Populus ussuriensis显示文摘It is of great importance to better understand how trees regulate nitrogen(N) uptake under N deficiency conditions which severely challenge afforestation practices, yet the underlying molecular mechanisms have not been well elucidated. Here,we functionally characterized PuHox52, a Populus ussuriensis HD-ZIP transcription factor, whose overexpression greatly enhanced nutrient uptake and plant growth under N deficiency. We first conducted an RNA sequencing experiment to obtain root transcriptome using PuHox52-overexpression lines of P. ussuriensis under low N treatment. We then performed multiple genetic and phenotypic analyses to identify key target genes of PuHox52 and validated how they acted against N deficiency under PuHox52 regulation.PuHox52 was specifically induced in roots by N deficiency, and overexpression of PuHox52promoted N uptake, plant growth, and root development. We demonstrated that several nitrate-responsive genes(PuNRT1.1, PuNRT2.4,PuCLC-b, PuNIA2, PuNIR1, and PuNLP1),phosphate-responsive genes(PuPHL1A and PuPHL1B), and an iron transporter gene(PuIRT1) were substantiated to be direct targets of PuHox52. Among them, PuNRT1.1, PuPHL1A/B, and PuIRT1 were upregulated to relatively higher levels during PuHox52-mediated responses against N deficiency in PuHox52-overexpression lines compared to WT. 10Dynamic modeling and analysis of the 3-PRS power head based on the screw theory and rigid multipoint constraints显示文摘This study presents a dynamic modeling and analysis methodology for the 3-PRS parallel mechanism.First,an improved reduced dynamic model of component substructures is proposed using the dynamic condensation technique and the rigid multipoint constraints at the joint/interface level,leading to a minimum set of generalized coordinates for external nodes.Next,the mapping between interface constraint stiffness and global stiffness is illustrated,resulting in an analytical stiffness model of joint substructures.Subsequently,the derived component and joint substructures are synthesized into the entire mechanism based on the Lagrange equation.Finally,a case study illustrates that the lower-order dynamic performances predicted within the proposed approach have the same trend as those obtained from a complete-order finite element model.The root mean square discrepancy of the lower-order natural frequencies between the two models is less than 5.92%,indicating the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed model.The developed approach can highly and efficiently predict the dynamic performance distributions across the entire workspace and guide the optimal functional design under the virtual machine framework.MA YiWei TIAN YanLing LIU XianPing LU ChengHao 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,7:0
11Pro-apoptotic Effects of OSNQ on Human Colon Cancer SW480 Cells显示文摘[Objectives] The aim was to elucidate the pro-apoptosis mechanism of naphthoquinone derivative 2-octyl sulfoxide-1,4-naphthoquinone(OSNQ) on human colon cancer SW480 cells.[Methods]The cytotoxic effect of OSNQ on colon cancer SW480 cells was detected by MTT colorimetry.The pro-apoptotic effect of OSNQ on human colon cancer SW480 cells was detected by Annexin V-FITC/PI double staining.The changes in expression of apoptosis-related proteins were detected by Western blot.[Results]The results of MTT assay showed that OSNQ had a significant cytotoxic effect on colon cancer SW480 cells.The results of Western blot showed that OSNQ induced the apoptosis in colon cancer SW480 cells through promoting the expression of pro-apoptotic caspase-3 and inhibiting the expression of apoptosis-inhibiting protein Bcl-2.[Conclusions] OSNQ has a significant cytotoxic effect on colon cancer SW480 cells,and it induces the apoptosis of colon cancer SW480 cells by AKT signaling pathway.Yu ZHANG Jiaru WANG Yuchao FENG Yi ZHANG Wanting XU Tong ZHANG Shinong WANG Hui XUE Cheng LU Wenzhong WANG Meng NI Hongxing WANG Yinghua LUO Chenghao JIN 2018Medicinal Plant2018,9,6:0
