2Climate and litter C/N ratio constrain soil organic carbon accumulation显示文摘Soil organic carbon(SOC) plays critical roles in stabilizing atmospheric CO2 concentration, but the mechanistic controls on the amount and distribution of SOC on global scales are not well understood. In turn, this has hampered the ability to model global C budgets and to find measures to mitigate climate change. Here, based on the data from a large field survey campaign with 2600 plots across China’s forest ecosystems and a global collection of published data from forested land, we find that a low litter carbon-to-nitrogen ratio(C/N) and high wetness index(P/PET, precipitation-to-potentialevapotranspiration ratio) are the two factors that promote SOC accumulation, with only minor contributions of litter quantity and soil texture. The field survey data demonstrated that high plant diversity decreased litter C/N and thus indirectly promoted SOC accumulation by increasing the litter quality. We conclude that any changes in plant-community composition, plant-species richness and environmental factors that can reduce the litter C/N ratio, or climatic changes that increase wetness index, may promote SOC accumulation. 3Authentic compound-free strategy for simultaneous determination of primary coumarins in Peucedani Radix using offline high performance liquid chromatography–nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy–tandem mass spectrometry显示文摘Herein, a strategy is proposed for the simultaneous determination of primary coumarins in Peucedani Radix(Chinese name: Qianhu). The methodology consists of three consecutive steps: 1) Semi-preparative LC in combination with a home-made automated fraction collection module to fragment the universal metabolome standard into ten fractions(Frs. I–X); 2) LC–accurate MS/MS and quantitative1 H NMR spectroscopy conducted in parallel to acquire the qualitative and quantitative data of each fraction; 3) Robust identification and quantification of components by use of LC coupled to multiple reaction monitoring. In this final step, the most significant fractions(Frs. III–X) were pooled to serve as the pseudo-mixed standard solution. Meticulous online parameter optimization was performed to obtain the optimal parameters, including ion transitions and collision energies. Concerns were particularly paid onto pursuing the parameters being capable of monitoring regiospecific isomers, notably praeruptorin E vs. 3′-isovaleryl-4′-angeloylkhellactone. The quantitative performance of the method was validated according to diverse assays. Eleven primary coumarins(1–11) were unambiguously identified and absolutely quantified, even though no external reference compound was used. 5Separation and Manipulation of Rare-earth Oxide Particles by Dielectrophoresis显示文摘A challenge in chemical engineering is the separation and purification of rare-earth elements and their compounds. We report the design and manufacture of a dielectrophoresis(DEP) microchip of microelectrode arrays. This microchip device is constructed in order to use DEP to capture micro-particles of rare-earth oxides in petro-leum. Dielectrophoretic behavior of micro-particles of rare-earth oxides in oil media is explored. The dielectropho-retic effects of particles under different conditions are investigated. It is showed that the prepared microchip is suit-able for use in the investigation of dielectrophoretic responses of the rare-earth oxides in oil media. The factors such as frequency,particle size and valence of rare-earth metal are discussed. When the frequency is fixed,the transla-tion voltage decreases as particle size increases. Lower frequencies are more effective for manipulation of inorganic particles in oil media. Particles of the same rare-earth oxide with different size,as well as particles of different rare-earth oxides,are captured in different regions of the field by regulating DEP conditions. 6Characteristics and Genetic Mechanisms of Overpressure in the Depressions of Bohai Bay Basin, China显示文摘The distribution and genetic mechanisms of abnormal pressures in the Bohai Bay Basin were systematically analyzed. Abnormal pressures are widely developed in the Bohai Bay Basin,primarily in the Paleogene E_(2s_4),E_(2s_3),E_(s_1),and Ed formations. From the onshore area of the Bohai Bay Basin to the center of the Bozhong area,the top depth of the overpressured zone in each depression increases gradually,the overpressured strata in each depression gradually move to younger formations,and the pressure structure successively alters from single-bottom- overpressure to doublebottom-overpressure and finally to double-top-overpressure. The distribution of overpressured area is consistent with the sedimentary migration controlled by the tectonic evolution of the Bohai Bay Basin,which is closely related to the hydrocarbon-generation capability of active source rocks. The overpressured strata are consistent with the source-rock intervals in each depression; the top of the overpressured zone is synchronous with the hydrocarbon generation threshold in each depression; the hydrocarbon generation capability is positively correlated with the overpressure magnitude in each formation. 7C:N:P stoichiometry of Ericaceae species in shrubland biomes across Southern China:influences of climate,soil and species identity显示文摘Aims Carbon(C),nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)stoichiometry strongly affect functions and nutrient cycling within ecosystems.However,the related researches in shrubs were very limited.In this study,we aimed to inves-tigate leaf stoichiometry and its driving factors in shrubs,and whether stoichiometry significantly differs among closely related species.Methods We analyzed leaf C,N and P concentrations and their ratios in 32 species of Ericaceae from 161 sites across southern China.We examined the relationships of leaf stoichiometry with environmen-tal variables using linear regressions,and quantified the interactive and independent effects of climate,soil and species on foliar stoi-chiometry using general linear models(GLM).Important Findings The foliar C,N and P contents of Ericaceae were 484.66,14.44 and 1.06 mg g−1,respectively.Leaf C,N and P concentrations and their ratios in Ericaceae were significantly related with latitude and altitude,except the N:P insignificantly correlated with latitude.Climate(mean annual temperature and precipitation)and soil properties(soil C,N and P and bulk density)were significantly influenced element stoichiom-etry.The GLM analysis showed that soil exerted a greater direct effect on leaf stoichiometry than climate did,and climate affected leaf traits mainly via indirect ways.Further,soil properties had stronger influ-ences on leaf P than on leaf C and N.Among all independent factors examined,we found species accounted for the largest proportion of the variation in foliar stoichiometry.These results suggest that species can largely influence foliar stoichiometry,even at a lower taxonomic level.Qiang Zhang Qing Liu Huajun Yin Chunzhang Zhao Lin Zhang Guoying Zhou Chunying Yin Zhijun Lu Gaoming Xiong Yuelin Li Jiaxiang Li Wenting Xu Zhiyao Tang Zongqiang Xie 2019Journal of Plant Ecology2019,12,2:4

9High-Performance and Hysteresis-Free Perovskite Solar Cells Based on Rare-Earth-Doped SnO_(2) Mesoporous Scaffold显示文摘Tin oxide(SnO_(2)),as electron transport material to substitute titanium oxide(TiO_(2))in perovskite solar cells(PSCs),has aroused wide interests.However,the performance of the PSCs based on SnO_(2) is still hard to compete with the TiO_(2)-based devices.Herein,a novel strategy is designed to enhance the photovoltaic performance and long-term stability of PSCs by integrating rare-earth ions Ln^(3+)(Sc^(3+),Y^(3+),La^(3+))with SnO_(2) nanospheres as mesoporous scaffold.The doping of Ln promotes the formation of dense and large-sized perovskite crystals,which facilitate interfacial contact of electron transport layer/perovskite layer and improve charge transport dynamics.Ln dopant optimizes the energy level of perovskite layer,reduces the charge transport resistance,and mitigates the trap state density.As a result,the optimized mesoporous PSC achieves a champion power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 20.63%without hysteresis,while the undoped PSC obtains an efficiency of 19.01%.The investigation demonstrates that the rare-earth doping is low-cost and effective method to improve the photovoltaic performance of SnO_(2)-based PSCs.Qiyao Guo Jihuai Wu Yuqian Yang Xuping Liu Zhang Lan Jianming Lin Miaoliang Huang Yuelin Wei Jia Dong Jinbiao Jia Yunfang Huang 2019Research2019,,1:3

11Diffusion behaviors of hydrogen isotopes in niobium from first-principles显示文摘We investigate diffusion behaviors of hydrogen(H),deuterium(D),and tritium(T) in bulk niobium(Nb) using first-principles method.The diffusion energy barrier with quantum-correction has been calculated to be 0.12 eV,which is in good agreement with the experimental value of ~0.106 eV.According to diffusion theory presented by Wert and Zener,the diffusion pre-exponential factors of H,D,and T are shown to be 7.74×10-8m 2 s-1,5.47×10-8 m 2 s-1 and 4.48×10-8 m 2 s-1,respectively.These results are also in quantitative agreement with the corresponding experimental values.LU Wei GAO AnYuan LIU YueLin DAI ZhenHong 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,12:2
12Phase-and epidemic region-adjusted estimation of the number of coronavirus disease 2019 cases in China显示文摘The outbreak of the coronavirus disease 2019 in China was first reported in Wuhan in December 2019 and gradually spread to other areas in China.After implementation of prevention and control measures,the estimation of the epidemic trend is needed.A phase-and region-adjusted SEIR model was applied for modeling and predicting the number of cases in Wuhan,Hubei Province and regions outside Hubei Province in China.The estimated number of infections could reach its peak in late February 2020 in Wuhan and Hubei Province,which is 55303–84520 and 83944–129312,respectively,while the epidemic peaks in regions outside Hubei Province in China could appear on February 13,2020 with the estimated 13035–19108 cases.According to the estimation,the outbreak would abate in March and April all over China.Current estimation provided evidence for planned work resumption under stringent prevention and control in China to further support the fight against the epidemic.Nevertheless,there is still possibility of the second outbreak brought by the work resumption and population migration,especially from Hubei Province and high intensity cities outside Hubei Province.Strict prevention and control measures still need to be considered in the regions with high intensity of epidemic and densely-populated cities.Ruijie Chang Huwen Wang Shuxian Zhang Zezhou Wang Yinqiao Dong Lhakpa Tsamlag Xiaoyue Yu Chen Xu Yuelin Yu Rusi Long Ning-Ning Liu Qiao Chu Ying Wang Gang Xu Tian Shen Suping Wang Xiaobei Deng Jinyan Huang Xinxin Zhang Hui Wang Yong Cai 2020Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,2:2

14Single Cu nanowire assembled by microdroplet dielectrophoresis on ultrahigh tensible microelectrodes显示文摘At present,study on dynamic tensile properties and atomic chain fabrication of single nanowire,for understanding its dynamic tensile properties and unique physical properties of atomic chain to fabricate atom scale devices,is one of frontier research issues in nanoscale science.However,how to assemble single nanowire on a tensible microstructure becomes one of the most difficult problems,which severely restricts the development of this research field.In this paper,after the ultrahigh tensible microelectrode chip is fabricated by MEMS technology,hexamethyldisilazane is utilized to improve hydrophobicity of the chip,and then a microdroplet dielectrophoresis experimental platform and technology is developed to assemble single nanowire on the sensible microelectrode.Experimental results show that accurate and efficient assembly of single Cu nanowire is realized,which contribute greatly to the further research of dynamic tensile properties and atomic chain fabrication.And for guiding the assembly experiments,finite element technology is also utilized to analyze the local microelectro field around the microelectrodes during dieletrophoresis experiments.Chaolei Huang Hongjiang Zeng Xiaojun Tian Jie Liu Zaili Dong Tie Li Yuelin Wang 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,5:1
