| 1 | Characterization of disinfection byproduct formation potential in 13 source waters in China显示文摘The formation potential of four trihalomethanes (THMFP) and seven haloacetic acids (HAA 7 FP) in 13 source waters taken from four major water basin areas in China was evaluated using the simulated distribution system (SDS) chlorination method.The specific ultraviolet absorbance (SUVA 254:the ratio of UV 254 to dissolved organic carbon (DOC)),which ranged between 0.9 and 5.0 L/(mg·m),showed that the organic compounds in different source waters exhibited different reactivities with chlorine.The HAA 7 FP of source waters ranged from 20 to 448 μg/L and the THMFP ranged from 29 to 259 μg/L.The HAA 7 FP concentrations were higher than the THMFP concentrations in all but one of the samples.Therefore,the risks of haloacetic acids (HAAs) should be of concern in some source waters.TCM (chloroform) and BDCM (bromodichloromethane) were the major THM constituents,while TCAA (trichloroacetic acid) and DCAA (dichloroacetic acid) were the major HAA species.Br-THM (brominated THM species) were much higher than BrHAA (brominated HAA species),and the formation of Br-DBP (Br-THM and Br-HAA) should be of concern when the bromide concentration is over 100 μg/L. | Junzhi Zhang Jianwei Yu Wei An Juan Liu Yongjing Wang Youjun Chen Jia Tai Min Yang | 2011 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2011，23，2： | 13 |
| 2 | Modified FOLFIRINOX for unresectable locally advanced or metastatic gallbladder cancer,a comparison with GEMOX regimen显示文摘Background:The first-line chemotherapy regimen for advanced gallbladder cancer(GBC)is gemcitabine plus platinum(GP),despite its efficacy is limited.The current investigation is a retrospective study to compare the safety and efficacy between the modified FOLFIRINOX(mFOLFIRINOX)and gemcitabine plus oxaliplatin(GEMOX)as the first-line chemotherapy for unresectable locally advanced or metastatic GBC.Methods:The data of patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic GBC,who were treated with mFOLFIRINOX or GEMOX as the first-line therapy between April 2014 and April 2018 at Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine,were retrieved.This retrospective study evaluated the clinical characteristics,survival outcomes and adverse events.Results:A total of 44 patients(n=25 in mFOLFIRINOX,n=19 in GEMOX)were included.There were no significant differences between groups in baseline characteristics.The median progression free survival(mPFS)was 5.0 months in the mFOLFIRINOX group and 2.5 months in the GEMOX group[P=0.021;hazard ratio(HR),0.499;95%CI,0.266 to 0.937].The median overall survival(mOS)was 9.5 months in the mFOLFIRINOX group and 7.0 months in the GEMOX group(P=0.019;HR,0.471;95%CI,0.239 to 0.929).Disease control rate(DCR)was 76.0%in the mFOLFIRINOX group and 47.4%in the GEMOX group(P=0.051).The rate of grade 3-4 adverse events was 48%in the mFOLFIRINOX group and 36.8%in the GEMOX group(P=0.459).The incidence of grade 3-4 neutropenia and diarrhea were more common in the mFOLFIRINOX group,while the incidence of grade 3-4 thrombocytopenia and peripheral neuropathy were more common in the GEMOX group.Conclusions:mFOLFIRINOX might improve the poor prognosis of unresectable locally advanced or metastatic GBC,and the results need to be further verified by prospective clinical studies. | Xu-Ya Cui Xue-Chuan Li Jiu-Jie Cui Xiang-Song Wu Lu Zou Xiao-Ling Song Tai Ren Yi-Di Zhu Huai-Feng Li Yang Yang Ke Liu Xu-Sheng Han Zi-Yao Jia Wen-Guang Wu Xu-An Wang Wei Gong Li-Wei Wang Mao-Lan Li Ying-Bin Liu | 2021 | Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2021，10，4： | 10 |

| 4 | Protective role of hydrogen-rich water on aspirin-induced gastric mucosal damage in rats显示文摘AIM: To investigate the role of the hydrogen-rich water(HRW) in the prevention of aspirin-induced gastric mucosal injury in rats. METHODS: Forty male rats were allocated into four groups: normal control group, HRW group, aspirin group, and HRW plus aspirin group. The protective efficacy was tested by determining the gastric mucosal damage score. Malondialdehyde(MDA), superoxide dismutase(SOD), myeloperoxidase(MPO), interleukin(IL)-06 and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α in gastric tissues were evaluated. The serum levels of IL-1β and TNF-α were also detected. Histopathology of gastric tissues and localization of Cyclooxygenase 2(COX-2) were detected using hematoxylin and eosin staining and immunohistochemistry, respectively. RESULTS: Pretreatment with HRW obviously reduced aspirin-induced gastric damage scores(4.04 ± 0.492 vs 2.10 ± 0.437, P < 0.05). The oxidative stress levels of MDA and MPO in the gastric tissues increased significantly in the aspirin-treated group compared with the HRW group(2.43 ± 0.145 vs 1.79 ± 0.116 nmol/mg prot, P < 0.05 and 2.53 ± 0.238 vs 1.40 ± 0.208 U/g tissue, P < 0.05, respectively). HRW could obviously elevated the SOD levels in the gastric tissues(37.94 ± 8.44 vs 59.55 ± 9.02 nmol/mg prot, P < 0.05). Pretreatment with HRW significantly reduced IL-06 and TNF-α in the gastric tissues(46.65 ± 5.50 vs 32.15 ± 4.83 pg/mg, P < 0.05 and 1305.08 ± 101.23 vs 855.96 ± 93.22 pg/mg, P < 0.05), and IL-1β and TNF-α in the serum(505.38 ± 32.97 vs 343.37 ± 25.09 pg/mL, P < 0.05 and 264.53 ± 28.63 vs 114.96 ± 21.79 pg/mL, P < 0.05) compared to treatment with aspirin alone. HRW could significantly decrease the COX-2 expression in the gastric tissues(staining score: 8.4 ± 2.1 vs 2.9 ± 1.5, P < 0.05). | 7 | Development and Application of Hydrogen Storage显示文摘Hydrogen,as a secure,clean,efficient,and available energy source,will be successfully applied to reduce and eliminate greenhouse gas emissions.Hydrogen storage technology,which is one of the key challenges in developing hydrogen economy,will be solved through the unremitting efforts of scientists.The progress on hydrogen storage technology research and recent developments in hydrogen storage materials is reported.Commonly used storage methods,such as high-pressure gas or liquid,cannot satisfy future storage requirement.Hence,relatively advanced storage methods,such as the use of metal-organic framework hydrides and carbon materials,are being developed as promising alternatives.Combining chemical and physical hydrogen storage in certain materials has potential advantages among all storage methods.Intensive research has been conducted on metal hydrides to improve their electrochemical and gaseous hydrogen storage properties,including their hydrogen storage capacity,kinetics,cycle stability,pressure,and thermal response,which are dependent on the composition and structural feature of alloys.Efforts have been exerted on a group of magnesium-based hydrides,as promising candidates for competitive hydrogen storage,to decrease their desorption temperature and enhance their kinetics and cycle life.Further research is necessary to achieve the goal of practical application by adding an appropriate catalyst and through rapid quenching or ball milling.Improving the kinetics and cycle life of complex hydrides is also an important aspect for potential applications of hydrogen energy. | Yang-huan ZHANG Zhi-chao JIA Ze-ming YUAN Tai YANG Yan QI Dong-liang ZHAO | 2015 | Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2015，22，9： | 3 |
