1Dietary L-theanine alleviated lipopolysaccharide-induced immunological stress in yellow-feathered broilers显示文摘L-theanine, a natural nonprotein amino acid with a high biological activity, is reported to exert anti-stress properties. An experiment with a 3 ? 2 factorial arrangement was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary L-theanine on growth performance and immune function in lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-challenged broilers. A total of 432 one-day-old male yellow-feathered broilers were randomly assigned to 3 dietary treatments(control, antibiotic and L-theanine diets) with 2 subgroups of each(6 replicate cages;12 birds/cage). Birds from each subgroup of the 3 dietary treatments were intra-abdominally injected with the same amount of LPS or saline at 24, 25, 26 d of age. Both dietary L-theanine and antibiotic improved(P < 0.05) the growth performance of birds before LPS injection(d 1 to 21). The effect of dietary L-theanine was better(P < 0.05) than that of antibiotic. Lipopolysaccharide decreased feed intake(FI) and body weight gain(BWG) from d 22 to 28(P < 0.05), BWG and feed to gain ratio(F:G) from d 29 to 56(P < 0.05), increased mortality in different growth periods(P < 0.05), elevated the levels of serum cortisol, a1-acid glycoprotein(a1-AGP), interleukin-6(IL-6) on d 24 and 25(P < 0.05), reduced immune organ indexes and contents of jejunal mucosal secretory immunoglobulin A(s Ig A) on d 28(P < 0.05). The decreased FI and BWG, as well as increased F:G and mortality in LPS-challenged birds, were alleviated by dietary L-theanine or antibiotic from d 29 to 56 and from d 1 to 56. Dietary L-theanine mitigated the elevated serum a1-AGP level on d 25, serum IL-6 concentration on d 24 and 26, and the decreased jejunal mucosal s Ig A content on d 28 of the LPS-challenged birds. 2Antioxidant Effect of Human Selenium-containing Single-chain Fv in Rat Cardiac Myocytes显示文摘Reactive oxygen species(ROS) plays a key role in human heart diseases. Glutathione peroxidase(GPX) functions as an antioxidant as it catalyzes the reduction of hydroperoxide. In order to investigate the antioxidant effect of human selenium-containing single-chain Fv(Se-scFv-B3), a new mimic of GPX, a model system of hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)-induced rat cardiac myocyte damage was established. The cardiac myocyte damage was characterized in terms of cell viability, lipid peroxidation, cell membrane integrity, and intracellular H2O2 level. The Se-scFv-B3 significantly reduced H2O2-induced cell damage as shown by the increase of cell viability, the decline of malondialdehyde(MDA) production, lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) release, and intracellular H2O2 level. 3Identfication of new naphthalenones from Juglans mandshurica and evalution of their anticancer activities显示文摘Two new naphthalenone compounds were isolated from green walnut husks of Juglans mandshurica and their structures were identified as 4-butoxybutoxy-5,8-dihydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-naphthalen-1-one(1), 4-ethoxyethoxy-5,8-dihydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-naphthalen-1-one(2). Compounds 1 and 2 were named as Juglanstetralone A(1) and Juglanstetralone B(2). 7Power flow transmission influenced by vibration source impedance for a compound system显示文摘In this paper we present the effect of vibration source on the power flow transmission in a compound flexible system. Considering the internal impedance of the source, a general model is here proposed, and the generalized transfer equations of the system and the closed form solutions for power flow in the fiexible system are then developed, with which the effects of the source characteristics on power flow transmission are discussed. 9Essential role of Msx1 in regulating anterior-posterior patterning of the secondary palate in mice显示文摘Development of the secondary palate displays molecular heterogeneity along the anterior-posterior axis;however, the underlying molecular mechanism remains largely unknown. MSX1 is an anteriorly expressed transcription repressor required for palate development. Here, we investigate the role of Msx1 in regional patterning of the secondary palate. The Wnt1-Cre-mediated expression of Msx1(Rosa Msx1^(Wnt1-Cre))throughout the palatal mesenchyme leads to cleft palate in mice, associated with aberrant cell proliferation and cell death. Osteogenic patterning of the hard palate in Rosa Msx1^(Wnt1-Cre)mice is severely impaired, as revealed by a marked reduction in palatine bone formation and decreased expression of the osteogenic regulator Sp7. Overexpression and knockout of Msx1 in mice show that the transcription repressor promotes the expression of the anterior palate-specific Alx1 but represses the expression of the medialposterior palate genes Barx1, Meox2, and Tbx22. Furthermore, Tbx22 constitutes a direct Msx1 target gene in the secondary palate, suggesting that Msx1 can directly repress the expression of medial-posterior specific genes. Finally, we determine that Sp7 is downstream of Tbx22 in palatal mesenchymal cells,suggesting that a Msx1/Tbx22/Sp7 axis participates in the regulation of palate development. 15Evaluation on Salt Tolerance of 25 Species of Poplar Cuttings in Lab显示文摘The growth and morphological characteristics of 25 species of poplar were investigated. The cuttings were cultivated in Hoagland Nutrient Solution, which was made with sodium chloride (NaCl) solutions of concentration of 1.00, 3.00, 4.00, 5.00, 6.00, and 8.00 g/L, respectively. Under such salt stress, the new branch length and biomass accumulation of cuttings decreased as the salt concentration increased. The root/shoot ratio of most of species showed an escalation and then reduction tendency. Under low concentration of salt (NaCl ≤4.00 g/L), the root/shoot ratio of 11 species increased, compared to NaCl =1.00 g/L. After salt treatments, with the increase of salinity concentration, the content of chlorophyll of 8 species decreased. 16EDOA: an efficient delay optimization approach for mixed-polarity Reed-Muller logic circuits under the unit delay model显示文摘Delay optimization has recently attracted signif-icant attention. However, few studies have focused on the delay optimization of mixed-polarity Reed-Muller (MPRM) logic circuits. In this paper, we propose an efficient delay op-timization approach (EDOA) for MPRM logic circuits under the unit delay model, which can derive an optimal MPRM logic circuit with minimum delay. First, the simplest MPRM expression with the fewest number of product terms is ob-tained using a novel Reed-Muller expression simplification approach (RMESA) considering don't-care terms. Second, a minimum delay decomposition approach based on a Huffman tree construction algorithm is utilized on the simplest MPRM expression. Experimental results on MCNC benchmark cir-cuits demonstrate that compared to the Berkeley SIS 1.2 and ABC, the EDOA can significantly reduce delay for most cir-cuits. 17Preparation and Characteristic Identification of Monoclonal Antibody Against Sulfamethazine显示文摘Two artificial antigens were synthesized successfully by diazotizing method, sulfamethazine(SM2)-human serum albumin (HSA) was used for the immunogen, and SM2-ovalbumin(OVA) was used for the coating antigen. The coupled reaction was successful by confirmation of the ultraviolet scanning spectrometer, and the conjugation ratio of SM2 with HSA and OVA was 9:1 and 15:1, respectively. Using cell-fusion and limiting dilution method to reclone 5 times to get 3 hybridoma strains, which could stably secret monoclonal antibody (Mab), named CB7, BC4 and BB12. The subtype of BC4 Mab was IgG1 and chain, the molecular weight was 162 ku, the numbers of chromosomal were about 90, the affinity constant was 6.1×1012 M-1. No cross reactivity was seen between the Mab and the other 4 sulfonamides, as well as the 2 carries proteins.
