| 1 | Forest canopy height mapping over China using GLAS and MODIS data显示文摘The Geoscience Laser Altimeter System(GLAS)accurately detects the vertical structural information of a target within its laser spot and is a promising system for the inversion of structural features and other biophysical parameters of forest ecosystems.Since the GLAS footprints are discontinuously distributed with a relativity low density,continuous vegetation height distributions cannot be mapped with a high accuracy using GLAS data alone.The MODIS BRDF product provides more forest structural information than other optical remote sensing data.This study aimed to map forest canopy heights over China from the GLAS and MODIS BRDF data.Firstly,the waveform characteristic parameters were extracted from the GLAS data by the method of wavelet analysis,and the terrain index was calculated using the ASTER GDEM data.Secondly,the model reducing the topographic influence was constructed from the waveform characteristic parameters and terrain index.Thirdly,the final canopy height estimation model was constructed from the neural network combining the canopy height estimated with the GLAS point and the MODIS BRDF data,and applied to get the continuous canopy height map over China.Finally,the map was validated by the measured data and the airborne Li DAR data,and the validation results indicated that forest canopy heights can be estimated with high accuracy from combined GLAS and MODIS data. | YANG Ting WANG Cheng LI GuiCai LUO SheZhou XI XiaoHuan GAO Shuai ZENG HongCheng | 2015 | Science China Earth Sciences2015,58,1: | 8 |
| 2 | Enabling Multi-Chemisorption Sites on Carbon Nanofibers Cathodes by an In-situ Exfoliation Strategy for High-Performance Zn–Ion Hybrid Capacitors显示文摘Carbon nanofibers films are typical flexible electrode in the field of energy storage,but their application in Zinc-ion hybrid capacitors(ZIHCs)is limited by the low energy density due to the lack of active adsorption sites.In this work,an in-situ exfoliation strategy is reported to modulate the chemisorption sites of carbon nanofibers by high pyridine/pyrrole nitrogen doping and carbonyl functionalization.The experimental results and theoretical calculations indicate that the highly electronegative pyridine/pyrrole nitrogen dopants can not only greatly reduce the binding energy between carbonyl group and Z n2+by inducing charge delocalization of the carbonyl group,but also promote the adsorption of Zn2+by bonding with the carbonyl group to form N–Zn–O bond.Benefit from the multiple highly active chemisorption sites generated by the synergy between carbonyl groups and pyridine/pyrrole nitrogen atoms,the resulting carbon nanofibers film cathode displays a high energy density,an ultralong-term lifespan,and excellent capacity reservation under commercial mass loading(14.45 mg cm-2).Particularly,the cathodes can also operate stably in flexible or quasi-solid devices,indicating its application potential in flexible electronic products.This work established a universal method to solve the bottleneck problem of insufficient active adsorption sites of carbon-based ZIHCs.Imoproved should be changed into Improved. | Hongcheng He Jichun Lian Changmiao Chen Qiaotian Xiong Cheng Chao Li Ming Zhang | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,7: | 2 |

| 5 | Report of China's innovation increase and research growth in radiation oncology显示文摘Aims: To investigate the research status of radiation oncology in China through survey of literature in international radiation oncology journals and retrospectively compare the outputs of radiation oncology articles of the three major regions of China—Mainland(ML), Taiwan(TW) and Hong Kong(HK).Methods: Radiation oncology journals were selected from 'oncology' and 'radiology, nuclear & medical image' category from Science Citation Index Expand(SCIE). Articles from the ML, TW and HK were retrieved from MEDLINE. The number of total articles, clinical trials, case reports, impact factors(IF), institutions and articles published in each journals were conducted for quantity and quality comparisons.Results: A total 818 articles from 13 radiation oncology journals were searched, of which 427 are from ML, 259 from TW, and 132 from HK. Ninety-seven clinical trials and 5 case reports are reported in China. Accumulated IF of articles from ML(1,417.11) was much higher than that of TW(1,003.093) and HK(544.711), while the average IF of articles from ML is the lowest.Conclusions: The total number of articles from China especially ML increased significantly in the last decade. The number of articles published from the ML has exceeded those from TW and HK. | 8 | Optimized tillage methods increase mechanically transplanted rice yield and reduce the greenhouse gas emissions显示文摘Biaxia lrotary tillage in dryland(DBRT)can complete biaxial rotary tillage with straw incorporation,secondary suppression,and ditching,and it has been previously studied in direct-seeded rice and wheat.However,the effects of DBRT on the mechanically transplanted rice yield and greenhouse gas emissions remain unclear.To evaluate the effects of DBRT on improving the food security of mechanically transplanted rice and reducing the greenhouse gas emissions,we conducted an experiment for two years with wheat straw incorporation.Three tillage methods were set up:DBRT,uniaxial rotary tillage in dryland and paddy(DPURT),and uniaxial rotary tillage in paddy(PURT).The results showed that compared with DPURT and PURT,DBRT increased the yield of machine-transplanted rice by 7.5-11.0%and 13.3-26.7%,respectively,while the seasonal cumulative CH_(4) emissions were reduced by 13.9-21.2%and 30.2-37.0%,respectively,and the seasonal cumulative N_(2)O emissions were increased by 13.5-28.6%and 50.0-73.1%,respectively.Consequently,DBRT reduced the global warming potential by 10.7-15.5%and 23.7-28.6%,respectively,andtheyield-scaledglobalwarmingpotentialby18.2-21.8%and36.4-39.3%,respectively,compared to DPURT and PURT.These results were mainly related to the fact that DBRT significantly reduced soil bulk density and increased soil redox potential(Eh).Therefore,implementing DBRT in machine-transplanted rice fields is feasible,which cannot only increase the rice yield,but also reduce the greenhouse gas emissions. | Shuang Cheng Zhipeng Xing Chao Tian Mengzhu Liu Yuan Feng Hongcheng Zhang | 2024 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2024,23,4: | 0 |
