1Advances in 3D bioprinting technology for cardiac tissue engineering and regeneration显示文摘Cardiovascular disease is still one of the leading causes of death in the world,and heart transplantation is the current major treatment for end-stage cardiovascular diseases.However,because of the shortage of heart donors,new sources of cardiac regenerative medicine are greatly needed.The prominent development of tissue engineering using bioactive materials has creatively laid a direct promising foundation.Whereas,how to precisely pattern a cardiac structure with complete biological function still requires technological breakthroughs.Recently,the emerging three-dimensional(3D)bioprinting technology for tissue engineering has shown great advantages in generating micro-scale cardiac tissues,which has established its impressive potential as a novel foundation for cardiovascular regeneration.Whether 3D bioprinted hearts can replace traditional heart transplantation as a novel strategy for treating cardiovascular diseases in the future is a frontier issue.In this review article,we emphasize the current knowledge and future perspectives regarding available bioinks,bioprinting strategies and the latest outcome progress in cardiac 3D bioprinting to move this promising medical approach towards potential clinical implementation.Nanbo Liu Xing Ye Bin Yao Mingyi Zhao Peng Wu Guihuan Liu Donglin Zhuang Haodong Jiang Xiaowei Chen Yinru He Sha Huang Ping Zhu 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,5:4
2Development of nanoscale drug delivery systems of dihydroartemisinin for cancer therapy: A review显示文摘Dihydroartemisinin(DHA),a first-line antimalarial drug,has demonstrated great anticancer effects in many types of tumors,including liver cancer,glioblastoma,and pancreatic cancer.Due to its abilities to induce programmed cell death(PCD;apoptosis,autophagy and ferroptosis),inhibit tumor metastasis and angiogenesis,and modulate the tumor microenvironment,DHA could become an antineoplastic agent in the foreseeable future.However,the therapeutic efficacy of DHA is compromised owing to its inherent disadvantages,including poor stability,low aqueous solubility,and short plasma halflife.To overcome these drawbacks,nanoscale drug delivery systems(NDDSs),such as polymeric nanoparticles(NPs),liposomes,and metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),have been introduced to maximize the therapeutic efficacy of DHA in either single-drug or multidrug therapy.Based on the beneficial properties of NDDSs,including enhanced stability and solubility of the drug,prolonged circulation time and selective accumulation in tumors,the outcomes of DHA-loaded NDDSs for cancer therapy are significantly improved compared to those of free DHA.This reviewfirst summarizes the current understanding of the anticancer mechanisms of DHA and then provides an overview of DHA-including nanomedicines,aiming to provide inspiration for further application of DHA as an anticancer drug.Ka Hong Wong Donglin Yang Shanshan Chen Chengwei He Meiwan Chen 2022Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2022,17,4:3
3Loss of Lkb1 impairs Treg function and stability to aggravate graft-versus-host disease after bone marrow transplantation显示文摘Accumulating evidence suggests that a reduction in the number of Foxp3^(+) regulatory T cells(Tregs)contributes to the pathogenesis of acute graft-versus-host disease(aGVHD),which is a major adverse complication that can occur after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT).However,the precise features and mechanism underlying the defects in Tregs remain largely unknown.In this study,we demonstrated that Tregs were more dramatically decreased in bone marrow compared with those in peripheral blood from aGVHD patients and that bone marrow Treg defects were negatively associated with hematopoietic reconstitution.Tregs from aGVHD patients exhibited multiple defects,including the instability of Foxp3 expression,especially in response to IL-12,impaired suppressor function,decreased migratory capacity,and increased apoptosis.Transcriptional profiling revealed the downregulation of Lkb1,a previously identified critical regulator of murine Treg identity and metabolism,and murine Lkb1-regulated genes in Tregs from aGVHD patients.Foxp3 expression in human Tregs could be decreased and increased by the knockdown and overexpression of the Lkb1 gene,respectively.Furthermore,a loss-of-function assay in an aGVHD murine model confirmed that Lkb1 deficiency could impair Tregs and aggravate disease severity.These findings reveal that Lkb1 downregulation contributes to multiple defects in Tregs in human aGVHD and highlight the Lkb1-related pathways that could serve as therapeutic targets that may potentially be manipulated to mitigate aGVHD.Xiuhua Su Qianqian Wang Wei Guo Xiaolei Pei Qing Niu Maolan Liu Yuanyuan Liu Song Chen Sizhou Feng Yi He Donglin Yang Rongli Zhang Qiaoling Ma Weihua Zhai Aiming Pang Jialin Wei Yong Huang Yuechen Luo Mingzhe Han Xiaoming Feng Erlie Jiang 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,5:3
4Synthesis and characterization of MoS2/Fe@Fe3O4 nanocomposites exhibiting enhanced microwave absorption performance at normal and oblique incidences显示文摘Herein,we attempted to prepare MoS2/Fe@Fe3O4 nanocomposites capable of strongly absorbing broadband incident electromagnetic(EM)radiation and probed the effects of their composition on complex permittivity and permeability at 2-18 GHz.Calculations of normal-incidence reflection losses(RLs)based on EM parameters revealed that the Fe@Fe3O4 to MoS2 mass ratio strongly influenced the absorption peak intensity and bandwidth.Specifically,an RL peak of-31.8 dB@l5.3 GHz and a bandwidth(RL<-lOdB)of4.8 GHz(13.2-18 GHz)were achieved at a thickness of 1.52 mm and a Fe@Fe3O4 to M0S2 mass ratio of 60:40.Further,RL and bandwidth were investigated for oblique incidence,in which case two kinds of EM waves(TE-electric field perpendicular to plane of incidence;TM-electric field in the plane of incidence)were considered.The absorption peaks of TE and TM waves did not exceed-2 0 dB when the incidence angle increased to 3 0,and the bandwidth(R L<-10 dB)reached 4.2 GHz(TE wave)and 4.0 GHz(TM wave)when this angle was further increased to 40.0°and 50.4,respectively.Finally,the mechanism of microwave absorption was discussed in detail.Peng Wang Junming Zhang Guowu Wang Benfang Duan Donglin He Tao Wang Fashen Li 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,9:2

7On the technologies of Hα imaging spectrograph for the CHASE mission显示文摘The Hα imaging spectrograph(HIS) is the scientific payload of the first solar space mission, the Chinese Hα solar explorer(CHASE), supported by the China National Space Administration(CNSA). The CHASE/HIS achieves, for the first time in space, Hα spectroscopic observations with high spectral and temporal resolutions. Separate channels for the raster scanning mode(RSM) and continuum imaging mode(CIM) are integrated into one, and a highly integrated design is achieved through multiple folding of the optical path and ultra-light miniaturized components. The design of HIS implements a number of key technologies such as high-precision scanning of the optical field of view(FOV), high-precision integrated manufacturing inspection, a large-tolerance pre-filter window, and full-link solar radiation calibration. 8Magnetic properties and microstructure of nanocrystalline bulk Nd-Fe-B with Ce-Co addition显示文摘The influence of Ce-Co alloy addition and sintering holding time on permanent magnetic properties and micro structure of nanocrystalline Nd-Fe-B bulk alloy were investigated.The coercivity of Nd-Fe-B bulk alloy can be enhanced greatly by more than 100% after adding Ce-Co powders.However,when the concentration of Ce-Co is up to 30 wt%,the density of the magnet can reach the maximum value of 7.58 g/cm^(3),but the coercivity does not increase significantly.On the other hand,with the increase of holding time to 10 min,the density and coercivity of magnets increase gradually,reaching up to 7.55 g/cm^(3) and 1134.3 kA/m,respectively.After the addition of Ce-Co alloy,Ce-Co may easily diffuse into the Nd-Fe-B matrix during hot-pressing and under the high pressure and temperature,thus increasing the content of grain boundary phase and the pinning effect of grain boundary,which leads to the increase of coercivity.The extension of the hot-pressing holding time may be more conducive to the diffusion of CeCo into the Nd-Fe-B matrix.In addition,the effect of Ce-Co addition on the magnetic properties of Nd-FeB with different content of rare earth was also studied.The addition of Ce-Co can effectively increase the coercivity of nanocomposite Nd_(2)Fe_(14)B/α-Fe magnets.The addition of Nb to the parent alloy can further improve the coercivity.For Nd_(11)Fe_(81.5)Nb_(1)Ga_(0.5)B_(6) alloy with 10 wt% Ce-Co addition,the coercivity can increase from 740.28 to 1098.48 kA/m.Yilong Ma Qiqi Yang Xiaoli Chen Ying He Wenbo Xiang Jiaqi Lai Bin Shao Donglin Guo Dengming Chen Kejian Li 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,6:1

11Robust transport of charge carriers in in-plane 1T′-2H MoTe_(2) homojunctions with ohmic contact显示文摘Metal-semiconductor ohmic contacts are required to reduce the energy dissipation for two-dimensional (2D) electronic devices, and phase engineering of 2D transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) is a promising approach for building ohmic contacts. Here, 2D in-plane 1T′-2H MoTe2 homojunctions were prepared by direct epitaxy via vapor deposition. The interface properties of in-plane 1T′-2H MoTe2 homojunction were investigated in detail by combining experiments, calculations and theories. The ohmic contact properties of 1T′-2H MoTe2 homojunction were proved according to Kelvin force probe microscopy and density functional theory calculations. The charge carriers robust transport in in-plane 1T′-2H MoTe2 homojunction without Fermi-level pinning can be well described by Poisson equation and band alignment. 14Data-Driven Discovery of Stochastic Differential Equations显示文摘Stochastic differential equations(SDEs)are mathematical models that are widely used to describe complex processes or phenomena perturbed by random noise from different sources.The identification of SDEs governing a system is often a challenge because of the inherent strong stochasticity of data and the complexity of the system’s dynamics.The practical utility of existing parametric approaches for identifying SDEs is usually limited by insufficient data resources.This study presents a novel framework for identifying SDEs by leveraging the sparse Bayesian learning(SBL)technique to search for a parsimonious,yet physically necessary representation from the space of candidate basis functions.More importantly,we use the analytical tractability of SBL to develop an efficient way to formulate the linear regression problem for the discovery of SDEs that requires considerably less time-series data.The effectiveness of the proposed framework is demonstrated using real data on stock and oil prices,bearing variation,and wind speed,as well as simulated data on well-known stochastic dynamical systems,including the generalized Wiener process and Langevin equation.This framework aims to assist specialists in extracting stochastic mathematical models from random phenomena in the natural sciences,economics,and engineering fields for analysis,prediction,and decision making.Yasen Wang Huazhen Fang Junyang Jin Guijun Ma Xin He Xing Dai Zuogong Yue Cheng Cheng Hai-Tao Zhang Donglin Pu Dongrui Wu Ye Yuan Jorge Gonçalves Jürgen Kurths Han Ding 2022Engineering2022,,10:1

20Aging Resistance Evaluation of Aged Paper Reinforced with Different Nanocelluloses显示文摘Paper documents experience severe acidification and embrittlement.Nanocellulose is an excellent reinforcement material for paper documents owing to its compatibility and excellent mechanical strength.However,little research has been conducted on the aging resistance of nanocellulose-reinforced paper.In this study,six types of nanocelluloses were used to reinforce aged paper.The reinforcement and anti-aging performances were evaluated,and the anti-aging mechanism was further clarified.Nanocellulose with a high degree of polymerization can better enhance aged paper,and non-chemical nanocellulose also shows better anti-aging performance,such as nanocellulose prepared by mechanical or biological methods.However,nanocellulose prepared using chemical methods exhibits poor reinforcement and anti-aging performance.This is because it has a small particle size that is not beneficial for physical crosslinking with paper fibers.More importantly,the introduction of acidic or oxidizing groups on nanocellulose accelerates the acid hydrolysis and oxidation rate of paper fibers,especially nanocellulose prepared by 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl oxidation,which should not be used to protect paper documents.Xian Cao Bei He Jianlin Wang Chunhui Zhang Donglin Tang Qingyou Liang Chuanfu Liu Huiming Fan Junli Ren 2023Paper And Biomaterials2023,8,3:0
