| 2 | Modeling and Analysis of a Micromotor with an Electrostatically Levitated Rotor显示文摘The modeling and evaluation of a prototype rotary micromotor where the annular rotor is supported electrostatically in five degrees of freedom is presented in order to study the behavior of this levitated micromotor and further optimize the device geometry.The analytical torque model is obtained based on the principle of a planar variable-capacitance electrostatic motor while the viscous damping caused by air film between the stator and rotor is derived using laminar Couette flow model.Simulation results of the closed-loop drive motor, based on the developed dynamic model after eliminating mechanical friction torque via electrostatic suspension, are presented.The effects of the high-voltage drive, required for rotation of the rotor, on overload capacity and suspension stiffness of the electrostatic bearing system are also analytically evaluated in an effort to determine allowable drive voltage and attainable rotor speed in operation.The analytical results show that maximum speed of the micromotor is limited mainly by viscous drag torque and stiffness of the bearing system.Therefore, it is expected to operate the device in vacuum so as to increase the rotor speed significantly, especially for those electrostatically levitated micromotors to be used as an angular rate micro-gyroscope. | HAN Fengtian WU Qiuping ZHANG Rong | 2009 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2009,22,1: | 5 |

| 4 | Automorphisms of Maps with a Given Underlying Graph and Their Application to Enumeration显示文摘A graph is called a semi-regular graph if its automorphism group action on its ordered pair of adjacent vertices is semi-regular. In this paper, a necessary and sufficient condition for an automorphism of the graph F to be an automorphism of a map with the underlying graph F is obtained. Using this result, all orientation-preserving automorphisms of maps on surfaces (orientable and non-orientable) or just orientable surfaces with a given underlying semi-regular graph F are determined. | 5 | Regulation of pathological BBB restoration via nanostructured ROS-responsive glycolipid-like copolymer entrapping siVEGF for glioblastoma targeted therapeutics显示文摘Glioblastoma(GBM)is one of the malignant brain tumors with high mortality and no curative treatments.Abnormally elevated vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in GBM seriously disrupts the blood brain barrier(BBB)with an increased permeability,resulting in poor outcome and prognosis.RNAi interference has shown strong potential to inhibit VEGF expression,thus it is necessary to development an effective and safe gene delivery system possessing the ability to cross the BBB and target GBM cells.This study aims to explore the anti-GBM effect of angiopep-2(Ap)peptide modified reactive oxygen species(ROS)cleavable thioketal(TK)linked glycolipid-like nanocarrier(CSTKSA)delivering anti-VEGF siRNA(R),termed as Ap-CSTKSA/R complexes.Ap functionalized modification produced an enhanced cellular uptake and a stronger bio-distribution of Ap-CSTKSA/R complexes in U87 MG cells and brain tumor tissues,respectively.Ap-CSTKSA/R complexes exhibited great superiority in GBM growth inhibition and finally translated into the longest survival period mainly via receptor-mediated targeting delivery,VEGF gene silencing accompanied with remarkable angiogenesis inhibition,and suppressed expression of caveolin-1 which is involved in BBB functional regulation in the occurrence and treatment of GBM.The study indicated that Ap functionalization on ROS-responsive glycolipid-like copolymer exhibits a promising and effective gene delivery platform for GBM targeted treatment. | Lijuan Wen Yu Peng Kai Wang Zhihua Huang Shiying He Ruiwen Xiong Longping Wu Fengtian Zhang Fuqiang Hu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,2: | 2 |
| 6 | Analysis and Prevention for Oscillation Failure of Capacitive Micro-accelerometers显示文摘As actuator of the force-rebalanced servo loop, the electrostatic force generator of the micro-accelerometer shows high nonlinearity while the interpole of the micro-electro-mechanical system(MEMS) sensor is far away from its balance position. The control system cannot rebalance itself with the limited bandwidth after an external long overload, because the characteristics of the force generator differ from normal case. Although for similar problems, solutions with cascading lead-lag blocks, with the anti-windup(AW) technology, or with the sliding-mode control, are widely reported, the problems such as performance loss or difficulty to synthesize a digital controller still remain. Based on existing researches, remedies are developed by analyzing the characteristic of the system not only near the balance position, but also corresponding to the whole moveable range of the interpole, and a new controller is proposed. The solution is compared with the common solutions of cascading lead-lag blocks method, AW methods, and sliding mode methods. Comparison results show that the proposed solution avoid performance loss, compared to cascading lead-lag blocks solution; the proposed solution is easily synthesized and implemented in the analog servo loop of the micro-accelerometer, compared to digital AW methods; at the same time, the proposed solution avoids suffering the chattering effect problem but just utilize it, compared to the sliding-mode control solution. Nevertheless, comparison results show the solution is lack of commonality, since the solution is only more suitable to micro electrostatic force-rebalance system. The SIMULINK models with and without the proposed solution, taking typical micro-accelerometer parameters, have been set up for simulation; corresponding experiments utilizing electrometric method are also conducted after the successful simulations. Simulation and experiment results verify that the micro-accelerometer will reliably return to normal operation after external long overload with the proposed solution. | 9 | Association between apolipoprotein E promoter-219G/T polymorphism and total cholesterol level in patients with Alzheimer disease显示文摘BACKGROUND: Many researches have suggested that apolipoprotein E (APOE) and total cholesterol metabolism are closely related with dementia. In the supposed theory, 219 site of APOE promoter region is near gene coding region, so its polymorphism may result in the abnormality of APOE gene and protein expression, and finally lead to dementia. OBJECTIVE: To observe the association between APOE promoter-219G/T polymorphisms with serum total cholesterol in patients with Alzheimer disease, and compare it with non-dementia people. DESIGN: Case-control, comparative observation. SETTING: Department of Neurology, Fengtian Hospital of Shenyang Medical College. PARTICIPANTS: Fifty-five dementia patients including 27 males and 28 females aged (66±3) years and treated in the Department of Neurology, Fengtian Hospital were selected from January 2002 to December 2005 as the Alzheimer disease group. They all diagnosed according to the DSM-Ⅳdiagnostic criteria of Alzheimer disease instituted by American Psychiatry Association in 1994. Meanwhile, 44 none-dementia patients including 21 males and 23 females aged (66±3) years were selected from other clinical departments of Fengtian Hospital as control group. All the participants were informed the detection and agreed. METHODS: Genomic DNA was extracted from the peripheral blood of all subjects, then 'NEST'PCR, DNA sequence and enzyme digestion were adopted to detect the expression of APOE promoter-219 polymorphism, following by biomedical statistics analysis based on the clinical total cholesterol level. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Polymorphism of APOE promoter-219 G/T and total cholesterol level. RESULTS: All 55 dementia patients and 44 non-dementia ones were involved in the result analysis. ①Allele and genotype frequency: The T allele frequency of the Alzheimer disease group was significantly higher than that in the control group [88.2% (97/110), 54.5% (48/88)], while G allele frequency was remarkably lower than that in the control group [11.8%(13/110), 45.5%(40/88), χ2=8.2, P < 0.01]. The TT allele frequency of the Alzheimer disease group was significantly higher than that in the control group [76% (42/55), 48% (21/44)], while GT+GG allele frequency was remarkably lower than that in the control group [24%(13/55), 52%(23/44), χ2=8.7, P < 0.01]. ②Total cholesterol level: The level of the TT genotype patients in the Alzheimer group was obviously higher than that in GT+GG genotype patients (t =2.46, P < 0.05); the cholesterol level in the two genotypes of the control group was similar (P > 0.05). | 12 | 125I Radioactive Particles Drive Protective Autophagy in Hepatocellular Carcinoma by Upregulating ATG9B显示文摘Background and Aims:125I radioactive particles implantation have demonstrated efficacy in eradicating hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,progressive resistance of HCC to 125I radioactive particles has limited its wide clinical application.Methods:We investigated the cellular responses to 125I radioactive particles treatment and autophagy-related 9B(ATG9B)silencing in HCC cell lines and Hep3B xenografted tumor model using Cell Counting Kit-8 reagent,western blotting,immunofluorescence,flow cytometry,transmission electron microscopy and immunohistochemistry.Results:In this study,we demonstrated that 125I radioactive particles induced cell apoptosis and protective autophagy of HCC in vitro and in vivo.Inhibition of autophagy enhanced the radiosensitivity of HCC to 125I radioactive particles.Moreover,125I radioactive particles induced autophagy by upregulating ATG9B,with increased expression level of LC3B and decreased expression level of p62.Furthermore,ATG9B silencing downregulated LC3B expression and upregulated p62 expression and enhanced radiosensitivity of HCC to 125I radioactive particles in vitro and in vivo.Conclusions:Inhibition of ATG9B enhanced the antitumor effects of 125I particle radiation against HCC in vitro and in vivo.Our findings suggest that 125I particle radiation plus chloroquine or/and the ATG9B inhibitor may be a novel therapeutic strategy for HCC. | Yunhua Xiao Jing Yuan Chongshuang Yang Junru Xiong Liangyu Deng Qinghua Liang Chuang He Liangshan Li Fengtian He Xuequan Huang | 2023 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,2: | 1 |
