1Role of pyroptosis in inflammation and cancer显示文摘Pyroptosis is a form of programmed cell death mediated by gasdermin and is a product of continuous cell expansion until the cytomembrane ruptures,resulting in the release of cellular contents that can activate strong inflammatory and immune responses.Pyroptosis,an innate immune response,can be triggered by the activation of inflammasomes by various influencing factors.Activation of these inflammasomes can induce the maturation of caspase-1 or caspase-4/5/11,both of which cleave gasdermin D to release its N-terminal domain,which can bind membrane lipids and perforate the cell membrane.Here,we review the latest advancements in research on the mechanisms of pyroptosis,newly discovered influencing factors,antitumoral properties,and applications in various diseases.Moreover,this review also provides updates on potential targeted therapies for inflammation and cancers,methods for clinical prevention,and finally challenges and future directions in the field.Xiang Wei Feng Xie Xiaoxue Zhou Yuchen Wu Haiyan Yan Ting Liu Jun Huang Fangwei Wang Fangfang Zhou Long Zhang 2022Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,9:11
2Modeling the influence of forced ventilation on the dispersion of droplets ejected from roadheader-mounted external sprayer显示文摘In order to reveal the influence of forced ventilation on the dispersion of droplets ejected from roadheader-mounted external sprayer,the paper studies the air-flowing field and the droplet distribution under the condition of gentle breeze and normal forced ventilation in heading face using the particle tracking technology of computational fluid dynamics(CFD).The results show that air-flowing tendency in the same section presents great comparability in the period of gentle breeze and forced ventilation,and the difference mainly embodies in the different wind velocity.The influence of ventilation on the dispersion of droplets is faint under the gentle breeze condition.The droplet can be evenly distributed around the cutting head.However,under the normal forced ventilation,a large number of droplets will drift to the return air side.At the same time,droplet clusters are predominantly presented in the lower part of windward side and the middle of the leeward side around the cutting head.In contrast,the droplet concentration in other parts around cutting head decreases a lot and the droplets are unable to form close-grained mist curtain.So the dust escape channel is formed.In addition,the simulation results also reveal that the disturbance of air flow on the droplet distribution can be effectively relieved when using ventilation duct with Coanda effect(VDCE).Field experiment results show that the dust suppression efficiency of total dust and respirable dust increases respectively by 10.5%and 9.3%when using VDCE,which proves that it can weaken the influence of airflow on droplet dispersion.Han Fangwei Wang Deming Jiang Jiaxing Zhu Xiaolong 2014International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2014,24,1:10
3Physical design of target station and neutron instruments for China Spallation Neutron Source显示文摘The China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)is the first accelerator-based multidiscipline user facility to produce pulsed neutrons by tungsten target under collision of a pulsed proton beam with a beam power of 100 kW at a repetition rate of 25 Hz.In this paper,we focus on the physical design of CSNS target station and neutron instruments.Under optimized design,the flat tungsten target and the compact target-moderator-reflector coupling enhance effective cold and thermal neutron output from moderators.Three wing-type moderators supply four different characteristics of neutrons to 19 beamlines primarily for neutron scattering applications.Layout of neutron instruments are conceptually planned for total 20 beamlines,the configuration and specification have been determined for three day-one neutron instruments.All designs are optimized for the Phase I of 100 kW with a upgradable capacity to 500 kW.WANG FangWei LIANG TianJiao YIN Wen YU QuanZhi HE LunHua TAO JuZhou ZHU Tao JIA XueJun ZHANG ShaoYing 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,12:7
4Rural households’livelihood responses to industry-based poverty alleviation as a sustainable route out of poverty显示文摘Industrialization is one way to achieve a sustainable route out of poverty.During the implementation of industry-based poverty alleviation projects,rural households’livelihood responses to change are crucial.A stronger livelihood response is conducive to multidimensional poverty relief due to industry-based poverty alleviation projects.Effective poverty alleviation can also stimulate stronger household responses.There is a positive cycle between livelihood response and multidimensional poverty relief effects that can help achieve sustainable poverty alleviation goals.Using a synergistic perspective on the relationship between“people–industry–land”,this paper explains the poverty alleviation logic connecting livelihood response,multidimensional poverty relief,and sustainable routes out of poverty by constructing a four-dimensional livelihood response measurement system with three elements of intensity.We analyzed survey data collected from 2363 households from 4 sample counties in 4 contiguous poverty-stricken areas,and measured and compared the characteristics of rural households’livelihood responses and the factors influencing poverty alleviation projects.Rural households’livelihood responses in four sample counties were moderate.The four dimensions of responses were ranked as livelihood strategy response,livelihood space response,livelihood output response,and livelihood capital response.The three intensities indicated that the perception and willingness elements of livelihood response were very similar,but there was a big gap between those elements and livelihood response actions.At the group level,poor households had higher and more consistent livelihood response than non-poor households.External environment factors(such as location,industry type,village organizational ability,and village atmosphere)and internal family factors(such as resource endowment,income sources,health,education,labor quantity,policy trust,credit availability,and social networks)had a significant impact on households’livelihood response.However,this impact varied across different dimensions and had different intensities.This paper proposes a multidimensional poverty relief mechanism and suggests sustainable routes out of poverty.Jianjun Ding Zhang Wang Yanhong Liu Fangwei Yu 2020Regional Sustainability2020,1,1:5
5Tailoring interphase structure to enable high-rate, durable sodium-ion battery cathode显示文摘Na-based layered transition metal oxides with O_(3)-type structure have been considered to be promising cathodes for Na-ion batteries. However, the intrinsically limited Na-ion conductivity induced by the Otype Na-coordinate environment compromises their rate and cycle capability, hindering their practical application. Here, we report an interphase-structure tailoring strategy that improves the electrochemical properties of O_(3)-type layered cathodes achieved through surface coating and doping processes.Specifically, a Zr-doped interphase structure is designed in the model compound NaNi_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)Fe_(1/3)O_(2) using the ionic conductor Na_(3)Zr_(2)Si_(2)PO_(12) as the surface coating material and Zr-dopant provider. We discover that the modified NaNi_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)Fe_(1/3)O_(2)cathode shows a stable Na-storage structure as well as an enhanced rate/cycle capability. Combined with theoretical calculations, it is suggested that the superior electrochemical performances originate from the Zr-doped interphase structure, which has an enlarged Na layer spacing that forms favorable Na-ion diffusion channels. 7A new design of foam spray nozzle used for precise dust control in underground coal mines显示文摘In order to improve the utilization rate of foam,an arc jet nozzle was designed for precise dust control.Through theoretical analysis,the different demands of foam were compared amongst arc jets,flat jets and full cone jets when the dust source was covered identically by foam.It is proved that foam consumption was least when an arc jet was used.Foam production capability of an arc jet nozzle under different conditions was investigated through experiments.The results show that with the gas liquid ratio(GLR)increasing,the spray state of an arc jet nozzle presents successively water jet,foam jet and mist.Under a reasonable working condition range of foam production and a fixed GLR,foam production quantity increases at first,and then decreases with the increase of liquid supply quantity.When the inner diameter of the nozzle is 14 mm,the best GLR is 30 and the optimum liquid supply quantity is0.375 m^3/h.The results of field experiments show that the total dust and respirable dust suppression efficiency of arc jet nozzles is 85.8%and 82.6%respectively,which are 1.39 and 1.37 times higher than the full cone nozzles and 1.20 and 1.19 times higher than the fiat nozzles.Han Fangwei Wang Deming Jiang Jiaxing Zhu Xiaolong 2016International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,2:4
8High-capacity lithium-rich cathode oxides with multivalent cationic and anionic redox reactions for lithium ion batteries显示文摘Lithium-rich cathode oxides with capability to realize multivalent cationic and anionic redox reactions have attracted much attention as promising candidate electrode materials for high energy density lithium ion batteries because of their ultrahigh specific capacity. However, redox reaction mechanisms, especially for the anionic redox reaction of these materials, are still not very clear. Meanwhile, several pivotal challenges associated with the redox reactions mechanisms, such as structural instability and limited cycle life, hinder the practical applications of these high-capacity lithium-rich cathode oxides. Herein, we review the lithium-rich oxides with various crystal structures. The multivalent cationic/anionic redox reaction mechanisms of several representative high capacity lithium-rich cathode oxides are discussed, attempting to understand the origins of the high lithium storage capacities of these materials. 9Solution to multiple attribute group decision making problems with two decision makers显示文摘A kind of multiple attribute group decision making(MAGDM) problem is discussed from the perspective of statistic decision-making. Firstly, on the basis of the stability theory, a new idea is proposed to solve this kind of problem. Secondly, a concrete method corresponding to this kind of problem is proposed.The main tool of our research is the technique of the jackknife method. The main advantage of the new method is that it can identify and determine the reliability degree of the existed decision making information. 10Malicious Code Modeling and Analysis in Weighted Scale-Free Networks显示文摘We study the detailed malicious code propagating process in scale-free networks with link weights that denotes traffic between two nodes. It is found that the propagating velocity reaches a peak rapidly then decays in a power-law form, which is different from the well-known result in unweighted network case. Simulation results show that the nodes with larger strength are preferential to be infected, but the hierarchical dynamics are not clearly found. The simulation results also show that larger disper- sion of weight of networks leads to slower propagating, which indicates that malicious code propagates more quickly in unweighted scale-free net- works than in weighted scale-free networks under the same condition. 11Analysis of SVEIR worm attack model with saturated incidence and partial immunization显示文摘Internet worms can propagate across networks at terrifying speeds,reduce network security to a remarkable extent,and cause heavy economic losses.Thus,the rapid elimination of Internet worms using partial immunization becomes a significant matter for sustaining Internet infrastructure.This paper addresses this issue by presenting a novel worm susceptible-vaccinated-exposed-infectious-recovered model,named the SVEIR model.The SVEIR model extends the classical susceptible-exposed-infectious-recovered model(refer to SEIR model)through incorporating a saturated incidence rate and a partial immunization rate.The basic reproduction number in the SVEIR model is obtained.By virtue of the basic reproduction number,we prove the global stabilities of an infection-free equilibrium point and a unique endemic equilibrium point.Numerical methods are used to verify the proposed SVEIR model.Simulation results show that partial immunization is highly effective for eliminating worms,and the SVEIR model is viable for controlling and forecasting Internet worms.WANG Fangwei HUANG Wenyan SHEN Yulong WANG Changguang 2016Journal of Communications and Information Networks2016,1,4:2

13A homogenized approach to classify advanced gastric cancer patients with limited and adequate number of pathologically examined lymph nodes显示文摘Background:The prognosis of gastric cancer patients with a limited number of pathologically examined lymph nodes(eLN,<16)is dismal compared to those with adequately eLN(≥16),yet they are still classified within the same subgroups using the American Joint Committee on Cancer(AJCC)staging system.We aimed at formulating an easy-to-adopt and clinically reliable stratification approach to homogenize the classification for these two categories of patients.Methods:Patients staged according to the 8th AJCC pathological nodal(N)and tumor-node-metastasis(TNM)clas-sification were stratified into a Limited and Adequate eLN cohort based on their number of pathologically examined LNs.The statistical differences between the 5-year overall survival(OS)rates of both cohorts were determined and based on which,patients from the Limited eLN cohort were re-classified to a proposed modified nodal(N′)and TNM(TN′M)classification,by matching their survival rates with those of the Adequate eLN cohort.The prognostic perfor-mance of the N′and TN′M classification was then compared to a formulated lymph-node-ratio-based nodal classifica-tion,in addition to the 8th AJCC N and TNM classification.Results:Significant heterogeneous differences in 5-year OS between patients from the Limited and Adequate eLN cohort of the same nodal subgroups were identified(all P<0.001).However,no significant differences in 5-year OS were observed between the subgroups N0,N1,N2,and N3a of the Limited eLN cohort when compared with N1,N2,N3a,and N3b from the Adequate eLN cohort,respectively(P=0.853,0.476,0.114,and 0.230,respectively).A novel approach was formulated in which only patients from the Limited eLN cohort were re-classified to one higher nodal subgroup,denoted as the N′classification.This re-classification demonstrated superior stratifying and prognostic ability as compared to the 8th AJCC N and lymph-node-ratio classification(Akaike information criterion values[AIC]:12,276 vs.12,358 vs.12,283,respectively).The TN′M classification also demonstrated superior prognostic ability as compared to the 8th AJCC TNM classification(AIC value:12,252 vs.12,312).Conclusion:The proposed lymph node classification approach provides a clinically practical and reliable technique to homogeneously classify cohorts of gastric cancer patients with limited and adequate number of pathologically examined lymph nodes.Sharvesh Raj Seeruttun Lipu Xu Fangwei Wang Xiaodong Yi Cheng Fang Zhimin Liu Wei Wang Zhiwei Zhou 2019Cancer Communications2019,39,1:1

18Tuning anionic redox activity to boost high-performance sodium-storage in low-cost Na_(0.67)Fe_(0.5)Mn_(0.5)O_(2) cathode显示文摘Na-based layered iron-manganese oxide Na_(0.67)Fe_(0.5)Mn_(0.5)O_(2) containing only low-cost elements is a promising cathode for Na-ion batteries used in large-scale energy storage systems.However,the poor cycle stability restricts its practical application.The capacity decay of Na_(0.67)Fe_(0.6)Mn_(0.5)O_(2) mainly originates from the irreversible anionic redox reaction charge compensation due to the high-level hybridization between oxygen and iron.Herein,we rationally design a surface Ti doping strategy to tune the anionic redox reaction activity of Na_(0.67)Fe_(0.5)Mn_(0.5)O_(2) and improve its Na-storage properties.The doped Ti ions not only enlarge the Na migration spacing layer but also improve the structure stability thanks to the strong Ti-O bond.More importantly,the d0-shell electronic structure of Ti^(4+) can suppress the charge transfer from the oxidized anions to cations,thus reducing the anionic redox reaction activity and enhancing the reversibility of charge compensation.The modified Na_(0.67)Fe_(0.5)Mn_(0.5)O_(2) cathode shows a reversible capacity of 198 mA h g^(-1) and an increased capacity retention from 15% to 73% after about1 month of cycling.Meanwhile,a superior Na-ion diffusion kinetics and rate capability are also observed.This work advances the commercialization process of Na-based layered iron-manganese oxide cathodes;on the other hand,the proposed modification strategy paves the way for the design of high-performance electrode materials relying on anionic redox reactions.Jianyue Jiao Kang Wu Na Li Enyue Zhao Wen Yin Zhongbo Hu Fangwei Wang Jinkui Zhao Xiaoling Xiao 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10:1
19QUANTUM COLLISION SEARCH ALGORITHM AGAINST NEW FORK-256显示文摘In order to improve the attack efficiency of the New FORK-256 function, an algorithm based on Grover's quantum search algorithm and birthday attack is proposed. In this algorithm, finding a collision for arbitrary hash function only needs O(2m/3) expected evaluations, where m is the size of hash space value. 20Mps1 dimerization and multisite interactions with Ndc80 complex enable responsive spindle assembly checkpoint signaling显示文摘Error-free mitosis depends on accurate chromosome attachment to spindle microtubules,which is monitored by the spindle assembly checkpoint(SAC)signaling.As an upstream factor of SAC,the precise and dynamic kinetochore localization of Mps1 kinase is critical for initiating and silencing SAC signaling.However,the underlying molecular mechanism remains elusive.Here,we demonstrated that the multisite interactions between Mps1 and Ndc80 complex(Ndc80C)govern Mps1 kinetochore targeting.Importantly,we identified direct interaction between Mps1 tetratricopeptide repeat domain and Ndc80C.We further identified that Mps1 C-terminal fragment,which contains the protein kinase domain and C-tail,enhances Mps1 kinetochore localization.Mechanistically,Mps1 C-terminal fragment mediates its dimerization.Perturbation of C-tail attenuates the kinetochore targeting and activity of Mps1,leading to aberrant mitosis due to compromised SAC function.Taken together,our study highlights the importance of Mps1 dimerization and multisite interactions with Ndc80C in enabling responsive SAC signaling.Ping Gui Divine M.Sedzro Xiao Yuan Sikai Liu Mohan Hei Wei Tian Najdat Zohbi Fangwei Wang Yihan Yao Felix O.Aikhionbare Xinjiao Gao Dongmei Wang Xuebiao Yao Zhen Dou 2020Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2020,12,7:1
